Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - LazerBlader - Apr. 14, 2008 Some while ago, Anubis shared this discovery with me. Now I've seen dozens of full metal beyparts over the years but these seem pretty nice, as shown by their videos (scroll down) despite the crappy background music. Anubis did buy their last product (a "Killer Set") but no word from him about it so far. RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Ryuuga BB Ruler - Apr. 14, 2008 dude, The metal beyblades are fake RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - LazerBlader - Apr. 14, 2008 TopBlade Wrote:dude, The metal beyblades are fake Duh. Of course. They even say their products aren't legal in tournaments in their FAQ. But performance-wise as tops, they are pretty sweet. Especially in the video when one of them breaks a Hayate attack ring in half. RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Ryuuga BB Ruler - Apr. 14, 2008 whoever buy those fake defense and attack ring is pretty stupid to waste there money on some carp that you dont have no fun battleing because people design the fake beyblades to never lose a single match, what the fun in that RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - bugturtles - Apr. 14, 2008 TopBlade Wrote:whoever buy those fake defense and attack ring is pretty stupid to waste there money on some carp that you dont have no fun battleing because people design the fake beyblades to never lose a single match, what the fun in that the fun is the fact that you can make beyblades explode RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Blue - Apr. 14, 2008 sick Anubis bought some? If he reads this, post some info. It's just for fun. Hey bought a pair of Sunfire sparking weight discs and yeah "fake" but hey it was fun while the flint lasted haha. And let's be honest, if Beyblade were to reach the level of being accepted as a "sport" someday, we'd have different companies making equipment and such. We don't see Wilson being the only "official" manufacturer of tennis equipment. Whatever. Yeah Anubis bought their last small set of parts since Xonitec ceased making these things. Interesting that they went unnoticed for so long. Oh well. Keep in mind he bought them before the Bey revival announcement so hey, it's been something to do. He hasn't been online much RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Roan - Apr. 14, 2008 LazerBlader Wrote:bugturtles Wrote:TopBlade Wrote:whoever buy those fake defense and attack ring is pretty stupid to waste there money on some carp that you dont have no fun battleing because people design the fake beyblades to never lose a single match, what the fun in that All those furry conventions are keeping him busy. They're horribly UNARTISTIC looking. bugturtles Wrote:Roan Wrote:LazerBlader Wrote:bugturtles Wrote:TopBlade Wrote:whoever buy those fake defense and attack ring is pretty stupid to waste there money on some carp that you dont have no fun battleing because people design the fake beyblades to never lose a single match, what the fun in that Does anyone know what ACTUALLY happened to him o.0? As for the set, we've discussed it here before. Yeah Anubis bought a set of them, they seem neat. I'm reviving this topic because I have information. The Xonitec metal parts are surprisingly well-made... I like them very much. The machining is not pristine, but it is certainly nice. The parts could stand to be polished more. They cannot accept bit chips. The "pendulum" type attack ring- Made from aluminum. This thing is nasty. It is dangerous. It is lined with spikes, and they are quite sharp. This thing could put a very large hole in your finger. It knocks other Beyblades around, but... it isn't friendly to itself either. As we know, force is distributed equally. It just depends on how well the rest of the blade is prepared to deal with that force. In fact, I don't want to use this attack ring because I think it will destroy my stadiums. The circular attack ring- Made from aluminum. It's a circular attack ring. It can't be that hard to figure out what it does. It does nothing, defends well, and spins for a long time. Enough said. The brass weight disk- This is my favorite part. It's nice and heavy... It's made of brass. It's very heavy. Let me give you an example. Aluminum has a density of 2.4 grams per cubic centimeter. Stainless steel has a density of 8.0g/cc. Brass has a density of 8.5g/cc. It's very, very dense. It's also soft metal. The part is very nice.. has a lot of facets and it has a nice little recessed gasket for tightly sealing the top together. It seals a little too tightly, actually. If you take it out, it really is hard to get the gasket back in. I haven't really been able to secure it completely. I'll bring them to the next tournament so you guys can see. Obviously, you will obtain extreme defense and survival from using the brass disk and the circular AR together. The pendulum is just.. well. When you absolutely positively have to kill every carp in the room. Okay, I have to go back to my furry cons now. STOP BOTHERING ME ARGH (I joke, you guys are awesome) RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - EverlastingBlader - Aug. 13, 2008 Haha Furries... Thanks for the detailed information Anubis! When you receive your MFB, test them against the Defense blade. Especially Pegasus!! BTW this is HurricaneDranzer(AIM) RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Maz - Aug. 13, 2008 We should try the defence set against a spin stealer. RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Bluezee - Aug. 13, 2008 tht would be interesting but whbo actually has those parts? (Aug. 13, 2008 5:05 PM)Maz Wrote: Anubis ...=/ ...seriously? I mean, honestly? Anubis just posted that he had them and would bring them to a tournament so we could see. Read the topic, please. :\ This is, like, the coolest thing I've ever seen for a Beyblade. If these were tournament legal, it would be freaking awesome. Not only would the ages for tournaments rise, but the game would be way more fun because there was actual danger while playing. :] RE: Xonitec's Metal Beyblades - Guardian Odin - Aug. 14, 2008 (Aug. 13, 2008 6:04 PM)Grey Wrote:(Aug. 13, 2008 4:59 PM)Bluezee Wrote: tht would be interesting but whbo actually has those parts?(Aug. 13, 2008 5:05 PM)Maz Wrote: Anubis ...=/ I don't really agree that it would be awesome because these parts make any other weight disk and attack ring completely useless. This is one of the more ignorant comments posted on this site lately, isn't it? Why should there be danger in playing Beyblade? I keep seeing this carp, people talking about how they got hurt playing Beyblade as if it makes them cool. For God's sake, get over it, it's a spinning top game and you're not cool. If you get hurt, you're not playing it correctly anyway. There's stadium guards for a reason, and you shouldn't be so close to the stadium. Maybe I'm just not cool enough to want to get hurt playing with spinning tops, though. Not even going to bother getting into the nonsensical correlation to age you made. Saying that "I got hurt playing with little spinning tops" is probably the lamest thing ever. I'm saying that...I dunno, danger just seems to make it more fun. Does that make any sense? No. But to me, it's true. Maybe to a lot of others here, danger doesn't make anything any more fun, but to me, the thought of it does. |
