i think it is the gold plastic slips or is weak. It most likely causes teeth to skip more and the bey to burst more.

“Gold Plastic” is clear plastic that’s been painted. For some reason, clear plastic teeth skips more easily than colored

GPS in the gundam and transformer toy universe refers to some combination of specific plastic and specific metallic paint that makes the toy brittle and it crumbles over time. it’s notorious and something people panic about. tbh, i’ve never experienced this issue with beys.
