RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - BeyGa - Mar. 14, 2022

I really like Beyblade Burst anime, however I understand those who got bored of it. So I think it's a good time to end the show and prepare everything for a possible new generation in some years. At the same time, I'm so excited about the new Bottleman DX animation! It looks so cool and fresh (no pun intended), it's going to be a nice experience.

Now, back on topic, that Kerbeus like Beyblade we can see on this month CoroCoro pages gave me the Draciel F plus 2D Chassi vibes for some reason. I'm looking forward to these Ultimate releases!

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - DeltaZakuro - Mar. 14, 2022

So i saw a picture of the supposed Kerbeus bey, definitely gives me Draciel/Variant vibes from the shape. It has a lot of purple on the bottom which does make it look like it has some kind of rubber gimmick. I'll continue that in the speculation thread but my god, even though the bey is blurry, i think you can clearly tell that is a Kerbeus.

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - Jinbee - Mar. 14, 2022

I vastly prefer Burst's toyline to it's anime, so I'd rather they focus on the toyline instead. I'm hopeful that dropping the show would let them focus more on making the products even better, and letting them go all out with the time Burst has left. So far, it does show some promise. While Divine Belial isn't super amazing, even that one has a promising DB layer.

Anyway, I think the Kerbeus looks very cool from an aesthetical standpoint, I really like the translucent pink with the green, almost like Bushin Ashura's colours and... come to think of it, the blades have that facing forward quality that Bushin did. This also looks a bit like green Variant, or Draciel F, which everyone pointed out. The pink is nice because it feels like a callback to original Kerbeus. I can't say the shape looks good competitively though, it looks terrible for defense in that regard, even less so than Variant, which at least looked rounder with tinier gaps (Yes, I'm aware about the Kerbeus concept art). The pink on the chip is likely paint, though it would be cool if it was a right spin Bahamut.

I can't really make out most of the other bey, as it's too difficult to see. It looks like it could either be Genesis, Xcalibur or Dragon. The core looks like it could belong to Xcalibur based on the colour scheme and what could be interpreted as a sword somehow. Genesis and Dragon due to what feels like pearl white and gold for the ring. I'm excited to see what they'll bring out here. That Achilles reminds me of Infinite Achilles, with some Cho-Z Achilles thrown into it, I can't see it that well, but it looks good so far. It may also contain blue side parts for the DB core.

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - BeyGa - Mar. 15, 2022

I've seen somewhere (can't remember where it was, tho) some rumors about a new Achilles, a new Dragon and a new Xcalibur. I think that makes sense, bringing those Beyblades back, since we're still on the DB system and we've already got a Valkyrie, a Fafnir, a Longnus and a Spriggan. Now I wonder if we'll end up getting a DB version of Deathscyther.

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - GHero - Mar. 15, 2022

I was caught off guard by the Burst Ultimate news! The Divine Blade seems really cool. I've said this before but I love that they're building up the same System instead of moving on.

Imo Kerbeus is a bit generic, but Metal Bearing looks really cool.

Hope its not like the former as Draciel had a track record of being garbo...

Well that's just fantastic, this is basically the destroyer of souls and TT probably knows this.

On top of that, this is probably going to be very rare, so we'd be running to another Outer situation back in the God series. This also likely has less of the aggressive movement issues that Drift has too, thanks to the bearing and the steeper shape.

This legitimately looks like Drift-SP if it kept its gimmick.

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - WickedHero - Mar. 15, 2022

Tbh, i dont like Divine blade shape. Its contact point is too high, not good for attacking just like dangerous.

I also noticed something abt Dangerous: its blades appear to angle upwards, to the left ( i put it next to rage and it looked like the same angle)

Here's the Kumamon collab. marutti, pls help translate.

From the vid, Adventure doesn't seem too out of the ordinary for attack, i think its probably Trick with rubber and a flat. (That means it has Omnitrix RNG)

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - DJCAT8608 - Mar. 15, 2022

saw the new driver, *insert Drift, Bearing', and Zone'+Z screaming*

*me about to fork over hundreds of dollars just to get this new unholy driver*

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - DeltaZakuro - Mar. 15, 2022

You know, i wonder what possessed TT to just take 2 of the metas most powerful drivers and just fuse them together to just make one big driver. It hasn't even released yet and i can already see it just beating the everliving hell out of the meta right now.

the fact they are only making 300 of them is kinda sad, hopefully they do a re-release tho

What's next? MX+Ds? Br'+Xt+?

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - BuilderROB - Mar. 15, 2022

Metal Bearing Drift honestly should probably be banned upon release. They banned Outer for being too rare and IIRC they also banned level chips too for being too rare. With only 300 of these being made, it would be absurd for the WBO not to simply due to the severe lack of access this part will have upon release, both in number and price. If it gets a more wide release then it could be unbanned.

RE: Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread - KinkoUsagi - Mar. 16, 2022

I'd be OK with it being banned. I wish they'd make some more broken attack-type Drivers, though. Stamina/Defense is not as fun.

See, some people still do not know the new arrangement, so things are not clear and people easily misunderstand.
