They definitely used Deathsyther before the ban. Doomscizor would have been indicated, and frankly, Doomscizor sucks. It bursts if you look at it, so I don't see it being used at all.

Just saying but after the atomic ban this should really be updated lol, it's like a good year+ old.  I'll post my thought on what the list should look like imo once it is banned.

Ok it's been like a month and no At ban so I'm just gonna say my opinion on the list

Attack
Legend Spriggan 7/5 Meteor Xtreme/Zephyr

Unfortunately for now there's only one attacker on the tier list as everything else just has nowhere near as much attack potential as lS, hopefully sX will change that though.

Defense
Alter Chronos 7/4 Glaive/Cross Atomic/Orbit/Revolve
Galaxy Zeus 7/4 Glaive/Cross Atomic/Orbit

aC is obviously very bulky and the most reliable defense type with good enough stamina to compete though as of recently its been getting outclassed by gZ but due to the category of defense I still decided to give it the first position as it is the best defense type and gZ is more of a hybrid of stamina defense and burst attack so maybe it should go in the balance section.

gZ does beat everything except for mG, even lS, with a specific launch, kind of how you launch Odin against attackers to make them self burst which I use to call "Golden Launch".  It's a launch speed between mid and weak and it basically makes gZ never get bursted by lS (this obviously varies between bladers as hard mid and weak launches are subjective so just keep trying until you get similar results to me I guess, gZ usually lost no or one click in a full battle against lS to give you an idea).  Kei can confirm this as he saw me testing the exact match up at his place.  gK is like a 50/50 as gZ relies on the burst to win against gK.

Stamina
Guardian Kerbeus /7/4/2/H(Heavy) Glaive/Cross Revolve

Don't really need to say much here

Balance
Drain Fafnir P(Polish)7/4 Glaive Atomic
Maximum Garuda 7/4/2 Glaive/Cross Atomic/Orbit
*Dark Deathscyther 7/4/2 Glaive/Cross Atomic

I was struggling to decide weather to put dF in balance or defense because its role has changed since it came out, now it's mostly used as a counter to lS (lS has to be right spinning and you have to weak launch, you get better chances of winning with a mold god chip and 7 core disk) as it can't beat most of the right spinning beys with LAD since the right spinners have much more of it than dF.

mG is self explanatory.  I didn't put Revolve on it because I feel like it gets knocked off balance too easily making it much easier to beat and not really giving any more stamina than At or O would already give with more balance.  Also couldn't decide weather to put it in stamina or balance.

D2 is still banned but I heard it's in the process of being unbanned, it's still a safe combo against random stuff (not as safe as aC/dF) but it can't beat mostly everything on the tier list except dF gZ and probably aC (D2 is the only reliable counter to gZ aside from mG).

In conclusion the tier list is small but part choices get very complex in deck format for example dF P At beats mG 4G O but dF with 4g At would not beat that same combo, it's very tough decision making and that's what makes it complex not the actual combos that are tier list worthy.  Feel free to edit the tier list, I'll say my opinion on the change I guess xd.

Awesome List 1234beyblade! I agree with most of stuff here.

But just asking is Deathscyther, K2, Chaos and Wyvern is completely outclassed now? no one tested A2, gK and new survivor against Deathscyther and Chaos. Can gK and new layers beat em? I can understand for Wyvern but K2 is no more good for defence?

I would say add 4 to lS and move gZ to balance.also i would say add spread and yell to stamina combo

I asked 1234beyblade about this he said gK has best stamina right now. And due to lS chaos and death scyther , wyvern and a2 are useless.also gK can outspin wyvern a2 death scyther and chaos. For k2 it was already outclass and now aC has faded it away and rendered it OBSELETE. Even bR beats wyvern ,odin and neptune

You see I would personally not add spread and yell to stamina combos because LAD is dead and they don't even have better stamina than Heavy. Sure add 4 to lS not like it really matters considering 7 is best choice and 5 is second best and that you're gonna be using 4 on your stamina/defense combo in your deck most likely, but yeah why not.

All old layers are basically outclassed now since god layers are so overly heavy that they just don't stand a chance, D2 is the only acception since it was so OP. D is so lighted that it will literally get popped by everything lol. Also since when was K2 even good, I never found it good, it always got deleted by attackers when I tested it. But yeah main point is lS deletes everything light and that's every layer before god so it's literally pointless to have them unless you want to lose.

why isnt accel mentioned for attack?also metal god chip should be suggested to all types as an option.

Accel can't handle the weight of lS making it too slow to be viable, Zephyr is good enough though so I included it.  Also don't quote the whole wall of text lol, it's inflating the thread.

It's a tier list for a reason, it's for people to get a general idea of good combos, what they do with that info is up to them idc, but since I didn't mention stationary attack at all it should tell you that it doesn't have a place in the current meta (Imo) and as you develop off the idea of stationary attack which isn't mentioned at all it would lead to Valkyrie eventually.  Even if Valkyrie had 100% win rate against mG (which it doesn't it's like 50/50) and destroyed by everything else on the tier list it would be an unrealistic combo for the tier list.

Ultimately it doesn't matter to me as how the tier list will look, if WBO wants to add VHR on there by all means do so, I have my own beliefs as to what combos are the absolute best, but obviously I don't run the site, we do, so it's important that everyone gives input (with realistic testing/tourney experience backing the info up obviously).

Also MGC is a no brainier I don't need to add it people can figure that out themselves.

Forgive me if I'm asking this question in the wrong section, but I really want to know how much influence each disc frame has on overall performance? I've attempted to gleam this information from this site, but I've yet to find any posts specifically addressing individual frames and how they affect performance or how they should be used.

The effect is so minimal that people just ignored it, at this point it's mostly to add weight, but in a nutshell Meteor is best for attack, Glaive has the best stamina and LAD and Cross is just a shadow of Glaive.

I didn't include Atomic on gK because it makes it significantly easier to burst (so im talking like aC can burst it, it's really bad).  At on gK was only used to hard counter dF way back but now with 3 different combos on the tier list that already cover countering dF (aC, gZ, and mG) i just didnt include it.

wow, just reading this post makes me realize i wasted money on the previous layers & parts, and i have a lot of the old stuffs too, damn takara tomy should have just given every layer from the beginning above average to strong teeth, should lessen the power creep a bit

why is Guardian Kerbeus on the list it has the worst teeth in the god series pair it up aginst bR in a same combo set up and bR wins 99% of the time I do not understand why he's on the list.

A mold god chip, that's all you need and it becomes pretty tight, even gZ doesn't win consistently against A mold God Chip gK so there's no way bR would stand a chance.



Just want to add a few things I feel are necessary after playing in Beyham 4.0

Variable should be added to lS as it literally destroys everything stationary.  So if more people could test this out and confirm mine and keis testings that would be great.  The variable has to be on the second set of teeth.

If Variable becomes a thing mobile defense would need to be added because it just dominates everything else on the tier list I listed  previously.  'x' layer on zephyr possibly and L2/dF hold would become a thing, but I doubt it because lSs speed and smash power would probably burst it on contact.  

So yeah if anyone has the skill to use Variable like it's an Xtreme that would help determine the list further thanks my guys.

Also Kei brought up a good point about gK atomic that I didn't think about.  Usually it's used on Revolve to counter mG but now that a launch strat was developed to counter gK on revolve Kei brought up if gK on Atomic would have a better chance of winning against mG since the stall like strategy no longer applies so I will test that out later to see if it's true.

One last thing, the tier list literally has atomic on every combo I feel like something needs to be done about that lol, maybe something I said a month ago.

for some reason i feel like variable is trash. mine has no attack power and no stamina. prolly just don't know how to use it i guess

You might be right, but wasn't it also the same before with Revolve? Atomic is very good, but it also doesn't feel overpowered necessarily. I can see the argument for banning it, but I'd have to think about that a bit more.

Variable was trash to me on release until now. We haven't had a Layer like Legend Spriggan with such great Attack power before in Beyblade Burst. If you have a Variable that's worn down to the second set of teeth try it out with Legend Spriggan and see how it does.

I would say instead of banning atomic there should be a limited format for burst where mG,aC,GK,gZ,dF,lS,D2 and atomic should be banned .whereas they would still be allowed in the standard format
