What of these types have you not heard of? - BeyUK-Espio - Dec. 29, 2007

I am the webmaster of the infamous BeyUK.net lol. As you probably already know I am looking to improve my game section and need your help.

To start off with, what of these blade types are plainly bullocks *sorry to swear*.

=Compact Smash
=Zombie Slayer
=Upper Attack
=Grinding Attack
=Bulk
=Forced Attack

Cheers.

zombie i never heard of that but I was out for a long time lol that's the problem i guess

RE: What of these types have you not heard of? - BeyUK-Espio - Dec. 29, 2007

Thanks. But your wrong...Zombie is an actual Beyblade Customization that is popular amongst bladers.

RE: What of these types have you not heard of? - Elmo - Dec. 29, 2007

"Bulk" and "Forced Attack"? That sounds like variations of Smash Attack.

RE: What of these types have you not heard of? - Cye Kinomiya - Dec. 29, 2007

I don't think compact smash is a type. Its more like a hybrid smash with compact properties. I have never heard of Bulk types.
I'm not sure if Zombie Killer would be considered a type, but here is an example of one:
AR: Master Dragoon
WD: Wide Defense
SG: Neo Double Bearing
SP: Defense Ring
BB: Customize Bearing Base? (Burning Kerberous's base. I forgot the name)
Also, grinding types are pretty much useless.

Cheers guys. I just needed to know so as I understood what sections I needed to remove from the site. Cheers...everybody here will contribute to my site and will be mentioned in the credits as members of BeyWiki.

Although, people that provide lots of help will get mentioned individually.

Cheers again.

Yeah, pretty much everyone said it already. Also, I find the name "zombie slayer" to be pretty unnecessary; "zombie killer" works just as well. You don't need to be so flashy with the names.

RE: What of these types have you not heard of? - G - Dec. 30, 2007

Well Elmo pretty much got the idea. We already have all of the main categories, but most of these would just be like sub categories or variations.

They're all valid role-descriptions.
Compact smash would be descriptive of a small, heavy blade with some capability for smash attack, similar to Flash Leopard.

Zombie Killer is a term thrown around a lot. Often used to describe Wolborg 4, which most people will tell you is poppycock.

Upper Attack is a staple of any good blader's repertoire, examples would be Driger V2 or Master Dragoon.

Grinders, while generally ineffective, and only situationally worthwhile, are a widely acknowledged type.

Bulk Smash is a variation on smash attack where the object is to use wide/large/heavy parts to create a large blade that is more likely to contact the opponent. These are typically used to either KO the opponent very quickly in smaller sadiums, or to maximise the chances of contact in a larger stadium.

Forced Smash uses the underside of a ramp to push down on the opponent's blade and force it to grind the stadium floor. There are no uncustomised blades that lend themselves well to this role, although a number of Attack Rings exist which are very effective. One example is Advanced Attacker in Forced Smash mode.

Dragoon G have the weight disc (10 wide and the attack ring but BBA Attacker will win the battle agasint Dragoon G but it also depend on the Launch Sytle and Nothing can overpower my Attack Called The Twister Killer which I spin the winder and pull the ripcord at the side of the Staduim so it can go around while Dragoon G just sit in the middle and loseing speed.

What does this have to do with this topic?

He probably posted this here since he couldn't make a new topic heh...

So would Master/Kid Draciel play as a Forced attack...even though the declining ramp is pretty shoddy.?

Yeah, it's force smash.

ok heres my deal on it

=Compact Smash
sounds like a small and heavy beyblade, and most likally able to do smash attacks, it might even be a combination of smash attack and compact, though compact is generally small and heavy anyway

=Zombie Slayer
ive heard the word zombie killer being used before aswell, and i assume that both zombie killer and zombie slayer are the same thing, which i assume is a beyblade that can counter a zombie. ive been looking for some infomation on zombie killer/zombie slayer aswell as other combo types for my data base (though i dont have plans to release it on the internet and its for my own purpose if i get a large amount of requests i will post my databases)

=Upper Attack
I KNOW THIS ONE, upper attack beyblades are generally short and have a "ramp" on the attack ring (or Wheel depending on the system) to "flip" the opponants beyblade either clean out of the stadium or off ballence

=Grinding Attack
Been trying to find info on this one aswell...it sounds like an attack beyblade that would go arround the stadium like a normal attack beyblade just more inwards so its able to take defence beyblades more easily and hit other attack beyblades while conserving energy...im probally more off on this one.

=Bulk
sounds like a deffence beyblade thats especially heavy and bulky pehaps to boost stamina

=Forced Attack
this sounds like an attack beyblade that can go in a figure of 8 paturn rather than the O patern of normal attack beyblades, perhaps by making the weight distribution more outwards and use a track or bladebase (depending on system) of an attack beyblade...again im probally more off on this one

Why did you bring back this thread? It's at least two years old and doesn't apply to MFB so is kinda useless now since no one really plays with HMS and plastics anymore.

RE: What of these types have you not heard of? - Kai-V - Jun. 27, 2010

I directed him to this thread since he asked a question about some of those types.
