SP230 is decent for sway, I guess. It's spikes only helped in a few rounds, though, because they are so high up.

Comparing SP230 to a decent top-tier part, E230, gives us a vague idea of where SP230 might stand in the current metagame...
And if you wanted him to test it against some other combo, why not suggest one for yourself? He's open to requests.

I figured attack mode would be better since it could scrape when it got swayed, helping it stay in.

How the heck is scraping supposed to help? That's like testing a Zero-G Attack combo against a WD combo and later saying that whatever combo you used for Attack is good because it could beat the other...
Could you please try MSF Ifraid Gargole SP230 CF or GCF against MSF-H Revizer Saramanda SA165(Normal Mode) RS or ES?

My bad. I thought it would work like E230 does for sway attack, helping it grip the stadium and stay in, only for defense.
