August 22, 2007- August 25, 2007
“Leave me alone!!!!!” is my catchphrase when I’m around my annoying little brother. You beg and beg for siblings, and all they do is cry and whine and waste about 5 years of your life. I can’t tell you what happens next as I haven’t experienced those years yet.
I can’t tell you that I don’t like him all the time. He does bother you all the time, and you have to change diapers a lot. They can’t do the stuff you can do. Only if they happen to be the age you are and even then they may not like the same stuff you do. I only know one person who is a perfect me, and some days are hard to get through. That may mean I hate myself, but that's not true. Also if there was more than one Wade in the world, we would have big problems. Look out for 2025, everyone! On the other hand could you imagine having a twin? My brother Satchel and I have sibling rivalry fights all the time. He was born August 24, 2007, and I was born on April 30, 2000. I have seven years on the kid, and we still fight for attention.
Some may think they want a sibling, but they aren’t what you think. I have been explaining siblings like the devil’s spawn. They are sometimes, almost all-the-time annoying. They also are great. I love seeing his face light up or him laugh. I hate when he cries or is sad or is traumatized. He was in Cedar Crest during the April 27 tornado. From then on, he watched every tornado video. He could draw the path of the tornado. He talked and talked and talked. Every one we knew had my brother’s tornado memoir known by heart because he said it so much.
“The tornado hit our house. It was spinning and hit and cars hit by tree and front porch. Mommy’s car was destroyed and had a tree on top. We couldn’t get out front door. No dog pens and trees all the way down.”
There is one thing I love most though. It was August 25, 2007. Mom went into labor on the 23rd. My dad took her to the hospital and then took me to a friend of mine’s house. He was really nice and let me sleep there. Now we had these chicken things at lunch, and I kept them down all day. Then in the middle of the night, I woke up and vomited. It looks like the lunch and, quite frankly, tasted better. (SCHOOL LUNCHES ARE THAT BAD!)
I was fine after my 3rd awakening. Unfortunately my clothes weren’t, and neither was my bed. After all that my friend didn’t wake up. We got up the next morning, and I was apologizing for all that happened that night. Kevin (my friend’s dad who also helped me clean up) and I looked terrible. I went to school and then was checked out. I asked Kevin why, and he said we were going to the hospital. I asked why and then he said,”You have a new brother!”
It was awesome. We went and it took forever to find my brothers area. We got there and he was lying on a chair wrapped up like a baby Eskimo. He had the ugliest birthmark on his nose. He moved and his hand came out of the blanket. They were tiny stubs on a tiny hand. They were so cute. He looked a tad bit chubby, especially in the cheek area. I was told to back up and be quiet multiple times. I saw him and I couldn’t believe two things. He was my brother! The other thing is that I slept near him. I slept through Hurricane Katrina, and I was a legend in my family at being a great sleeper. I couldn’t sleep for at least a week, and I was sent to my friend’s house so I wouldn’t be that tired.

I am a seventh grader so grade at that level. Also my paragraphs aren't showing so don't give me a lower grade because of that.
