"BEEP BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP BEEP!" I was hearing my alarm clock go off. "BEEP BEEP BEEP" I hit the snooze button. "BEEP BEEP BEEP" I pulled out my bey, MF Hades Tempo BD145 CS, and launched it at the alarm clock, breaking it and dropping the batteries out. "BEEP BEEP BEEP" I opened my eyes, and my brother was holding HIS alarm clock above my face.
"Zero," I said. "You've gotta' stop."
"Why, Andrew?" Zero asked.
"Because you're annoying."
"BEEP BEEP BEEP" the alarm clock was still going.
"ZERO!" I yelled punching him in the gut. "TURN THAT OFF!"
"Fine Okay... ouch!" Zero said. "Let's get down stairs for breakfast."
"Let's battle first." I said as he pulled out his MF Dark Fireblaze W145CS. "Super Cyclone Stadium, ok? Three!"
"Two!" he said.
"One!"
"LET IT RIP!"
Two bey's landed in the stadium.
"Come on Tempo." I said. "Let's win this thing!"
"Not Likely!" Zero said."Do You REMEMBER How I got my nickname?"
"Does it represent the time's you've won?" I asked?
"Yes." He said."And I'm pretty late for a win, so it's My Turn. What do you say to that?"
"Hmmm..." I said. "I would say... cyclone attack." Tempo fired a circular attack motion, smashing into Fireblaze, and automaticly threw Fireblaze up 5 feet into the air."It look's like I've won."
"IT'S NOT OVER YET!" Zero said. "Special Move, FLAMING DARKNESS!" Fireblaze shmashed down on Tempo leaving a dark trail behind.
"HA!" I exclaimed. "You think a move like that can leave a dent on me in boost mode? I am sorry, but this is over now. Special Move! CLOCKWORK FORTRESS!" A wall clock appeared above Tempo. It spun upside down and revealed a room filled with gears. Tempo than uppercutted Fireblaze right in between two of the gear's. Tempo closed the fortress and Fireblaze fell from where it once was. Fireblaze has stopped and my bey has won. "Come on, Bro. it's time for breakfast." I said picking up Zero's bey for him. I felt a weird aura come from it. I saw blackness form around it. Deep blackness. It then pulled my arm to Zero right before he snatched it from my hand. I could see something wrong with that bey.

"Hey Jim." I was saying on the phone.
"Hey Andrew." Jim said. "Whats up?"
"Meet me in the park, and bring your bey."
"Ok. Why?"
"I want to battle."
"I'll be right over."
AT THE PARK: "Hey Andrew," Jim said. "why did you bring your labtop?"
"Because I wanted to show you something." I said. "Do you know my brother?"
"Zero?"
"Yes Zero. Listen. His bey, Dark Fireblaze, the other day I noticed something different about it. It was possessed with dark power. And what I'm thinking is that Zero is too. I know it might be wrong to say that about my brother, but his toung wasn't forked before."
"Ok. Spooky. Now about that battle you promised..."
"Pull out your bey."
"Ok. Let's see if your Hades Tempo can defeat my Twisted Kerbecs 85RS. Three!"
"Two!"I said.
"One!" We bolth said. "Let It Rip!" Three beys landed in the stadium. Tempo, Kerbecs, and a Fireblaze.
"Do not try to figure me out." Zero said. "It will only lead to consequences." The stadium than filled with black flames, and so did the ground in front of Zero. The flames only lasted 3 seconds, but when they dissapered, Zero and Fireblaze were gone too. As we stared at our stopped beys, we wondered one thing. What happened to Zero?

"I gotta go to my seceret forest stadium to clear my head" I said to Jim. "Let's just hope Zero's not there."
Jim stopped cold. "You mean ZERO might be there?!?"
"Yeah" I said. "I told him where it was a while back."
At The Stadium.
"You're usless to me." Zero said. "It's time to be destroyed." Just than, Fireblaze snapped the other random bey in four peices. "NEXT!"
"That's me!" a random kid said fearlessly.
"Aaah..." said Zero. "Jaiden. Step up to the stadium."
"Ok." Jaiden said. "Three!"
"Two!" Zero snarled.
"One!" They bolth said."Let It RIP!"
The two bey's landed in the stadium.
"GO NOW, PEGASUS!" Jaiden yelled. "Special Move, SOARING SLASH!" Pegasus flew up into the sky and than smashed down on Fireblaze and it started to wobble.
"Stop the battle!" Zero said. "You're in the team, Jaiden."
"YEAGH!" Jaiden yelled. "Team Black Darkness! I'M IN!"
"ZERO!" I yelled. "What's this about a team?"

"Aaah... Brother!" Zero said. "So pleasent to see you. Is there a reason you dropped by?"
"Answer me Zero!" I shouted. "Why are you creating a team?"
"Battle me!" He instintainiously said. "You might find out."
"What do you mean might?" Jim asked. "What's the catch?"
"Aaaah... Andrew's friend." Zero said. "If he wins, He get's the news about why I'm making a team. But when i win..." He paused. "I get his bey."
"WHAT?!?" I asked. "There is NO WAY I am giving up MY Tempo. EVER!"
"Wow..." said Zero. "You seem pretty scared for someone who has never lost to me in the stadium." I knew he had a point, but that was not the same Zero as before.
"What about ME?" Jim said. "If Zero win's, it should be ME who gives up his bey. NOT ANDREW!!!"
"Jim,"I said. "this is my fight. Not yours."
"It's OK." He says. "Just don't lose."
"Well..." Zero jumped in. "If you two are finished mumbling about who's bey I get I would like to battle now. 3!"
"2!" I shouted.
"1!" Said Jim. "LET IT RIP!"
The two bey's landed in the stadium. Fireblaze was moving a little faster than ususal. "TEMPO!" I shouted. "Use all the spirit you can! Special Move, CLOCKWORK FORTRESS!" A wall clock appered above Tempo. It flipped upside down to reveal the gear system used to power the clock. Tempo zoomed down to Fireblaze ready to uppercut anything within 100 miles.
"Dodge it Fireblaze!" Zero shouted. Fireblaze narrowly missed Tempo's attack. But a miss is still a miss.
"TEMPO!" I shouted. But it was too late. Tempo got thrown back into its own attack. Held by a gear, Tempo stopped. Zero has won.

"Hand it over, kid." Zero snarled to Jim. "A deal's a deal."
"ANDREW!" Jim ylled giving zero his bey. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA WIN!"
"I tried!" I yelled. "He's stronger than before!"
"WAIT!" Zero said. "That was a really good battle. I'll give you the information if you promise to create a team yourself."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing! "YES!" I said. "Team Soaring Spirit! That's what it's gonna be called!"
"Yeagh well you and your bladder bladers should listen." Zero said. "I've gotten information about a tornament being held in 32 days. This is a team tornament and you must have at least 3 bladers on a team. I don't know of the comtetition but I do know where this will be held. The screming rainbow stadium in Kentucky. That's all I know."
"Wow!" I yelled. "The screaming rainbow stadium! That place is HUGE!"
"Well can I join this team?" Jim asked.
"I'll hold tryouts this Friday." I said. "I hope you can make it!"
"So It's settled. What stadium will they be in?" Jim asked.
"Definately the Golden Griffon."I said. "It's the closest to the screaning rainbow. You shoud train. There will be a lot of people out there. And you shouldn't lose!"
FRIDAY:
"Wow!" I said. "Quite a turn out! I wonder where Joe is..."
"Hey!" A random girl said. "Andrew's speaking!"
"No I'm not!" I said. The girl walked up. She was a thin girl with long curly hair. She was kinda tall, a little shorter than me, and her last interfearense with a grammar nazi was 13 years ago(the 12 year old girl. same age as I was.) She was definately... Cute.

"Hi!" The mystery girl said. "I'm Margret. I don't have a bey, but let's battle. If you can let me borrow one of corse."
I blushed. "Sure" I said pulling my launcher grip off my belt. "Come with me." I opened the curtain behind me. "This is the Golden Griffon stadium. It was creared when my old bey, Eagle, clashed too toughly with my friends old bey, Leone. Together, the spirit created a stadium, and a new bey. Can you guess it's name?"
"Hmmm..." She said. "Golden Griffon?"
"Yes." I said. "W145BD. And you get to use it."
"Wow." Margret blushed. "You must really like that bey. If you don't mind me asking, Where is it?"
I felt like the dumbest person in the world. I forgot to show her the bey she could borrow! "Right this way." I said opening the small door under the stadium. "This, is Golden Griffon. Do you have a launcher? Because Griffon came with one of those too."
"I do have a launcher..." She said. "But not a grip." She pulled out her launcher.
"Oh... My... Gosh!" I said. "That's the Griffon String! The launcher I lost on the street months ago! The string is twise as long and twise as strong! It also has a rubber grip on the handle AND the word Griffon in red like an autoghaph! It goes perfectly with the Golden Grip!" I gave her the golden grip and attach it to the Griffon String. It was a perfect fit. "Three!" I shouted attaching Tempo to the launcher.
"Two!" She shouted attaching Griffon to the launcher.
"One!" We bolth said aiming our launchers at the stadium. "Let It RIP!!!"
Tempo and Griffon landed into the stadium. Tempo was taking the offensive when Griffon was holding a more defensive pattern. There was an obvious differense between the two beys.
"TEMPO!" I said. "Let's end this quickly! Special Move, CLOCKWORK FO-" A bey was shot up at mine and they bolth landed down on Griffon. Tempo and Griffon were stopped and the misterious bey flew back to a shadowy figure.

"Who are you?" I asked. The shadowy figure diddn't awnser. He started walking in slowly. After a few seconds, I almost got a clear view of his face.
"Hey Andrew!" He said. It was Joe. "I got a Metal Face on my new Kerbecs! Heavy! Who's your friend?"
"This is Margret." I said. "I let her use the Griffon for battle." She held up the Griffon smiling.
"So you're the famous Joe I've been hearing about." Margret said. "It's nice to meet you."
"Wait..." Joe said. "Been hearing about? I thought my friend would tell me about his girlfriend." Just than, He stormed out angrily.
"You know..." I said. "He's only gonna be happy if he's right." We bolth blushed. "So... Will you go on a date with me?"
"Well..." She said. "I appriciate the request, but this is very sudden. I've only met you erlier today. I do like you, but I don't know if I like like you yet. You know what I mean? Tell you what. I'll go to BeyBurger with you. If it goes well, we can go again. ok?"
"Sound's good." I said. "Sound's good. But first we should finish this."
"Of corse" Margret said.
I opened the curtain. "People!" I almost shouted. "Everyone is here! So let the battle begin!"

The setup for the battles would be simple. There would be 12 battle royals happening at different times. The winners of those would have 6 one on one battles. The losers step out while the remaining would have 3 more 1 on 1 battles. The entire team would have a battle royal and the first one to stop is the sub. If two stop at once, the bladers battle one on one. The loser is the sub. You might think its crazy to have 12 battle royals but there are very many bladers in my area and there happened to be 48 bladers at this place including me.
"The matchups are on the wall!" I said. "The people in the battle will also be on this 32 inch flat screen tv!" I pointed to the tv above my head. "Come on up here you guys!" three people walked up to the stadium. I pulled my launcher grip off my belt, pulled my Tempo out of its case, and prepared for battle."The time has begun!" I held three fingers up into the air.
"Three!" Everyone at these tryouts shouted. "Two! One! Let it Rip!" Four beys landed in the stadium. A Fireblaze, an Aquario, a Striker, and my Tempo.
"Come On, Aquario!" The Aquario user, Jonny, shouted. "Special Move, ACID RAIN!" Clouds formed above the stadium.
As they darkened, the Striker user, Kevin, shouted, "Striker! Special Move! DOWN FORCE STRIKE!" Striker flew up into the air. It flew higher and higher, until I couldn't see it anymore.
Before it flew down, I shouted, "Go now Tempo! Special Move! CLOCKWORK FORTRESS!" Tempo Flew up into the air, stopping just before the clouds. The clock appeared, and Tempo shot down to the stadium.
As all the special moves took effect, Ricky the fireblaze user said, "You're all weak. I guess I should end this now. Dark Move! FIRE STRIKE TERROR!" Fireblaze cought fire and smashed into the opponents. I lucily used my awesome skills to barely stay spinning while it melted away my clock, turned the cloud into steam, and used heat to change the direction of Striker, while he used the heat to give his own bey power, he seamed unbeatable. think Andrew, think. What has science class tought you about fire? The things it needs are heat, can't take that away. Material, can't take that away, and air. Air! I just need to create a vaccum.
"Spin! Tempo!" I shouted. "Spin Faster! And Faster! Spin your way to victory, and further than that!" Tempo was circling the stadium faster than Fireblaze EVER could. "Special Move! VACCUM TORNADO" Tempo created a vaccum to cut out Fireblazes fire, and he created an upward force like a tornado! As soon as Fireblaze was off balance in the air, Tempo gave it a final strike giving it a stadium out. I have won.

The winner of that battle was the creator himself, ME!" I shouted."Now let's get to that BATTLE!" I pointed up to the T.V. "These Bladers should bring some water to the stadium because this battle is gonna be Heated!" The bladers walked up to the stadium. I was suprized to not know any of them. I kept shouting the winners of the battle royals 8 times in a row for 2 hours, but none of the battles had that kick, the sign of true rivalry, the spirit! So I started the 10th battle trying to sound as exited as I could.
"Those were some amazing battles and now we're up to number TEN!" I shouted, pointing at the T.V. screen. "Come on up you guys!" 4 bladers walked up to the stadium. "3!"
"2!" The bladers shouted.
"1!" What was left of the croud shouted.
"Let it rip!" Everyone shouted as 3 beys landed in the stadium. I was amazed to see that one was already knocked out.
"One Down!" Jordan, a Leone user, said. "Two to go! Come on Leone!"
"Don't be so sure of yourself!" Evan, a Wolf user, said. "Special Move! TWISTED DARKNESS!" Wolf formed the shape of itself out of darkness, and caused it to spin the same as it did, so now there was twise as much Wolfy power in that stadium, and the Wolves knocked out the pegasus in the stadium. Now it was just Wolf, Wolf, and Leone."I am undefeated Jordan! Undefeated!"
"That's great." Jordan said. "To be a good blader, you need to taste defeat! It gives you a goal to train for! I promise that I will make you a better blader today! Special Move! LION CROSSWIND DESTROYER!" Leone started to spin faster and faster, creating a Tornado and aiming it towards the Wolves knocking them out of the stadium with the intense wind force. That battle was the most exiting one sense the end of the 1st. Jordan has won.

"That was an AMAZING battle!" I said. "Jordan has won, and it's time for the next!" I pointed to the T.V. "Come on up here guys!" This battle had Joe in it. I was basicly pouring spirit into his bey for good luck. Everyone was up on the stadium. "Three!"
"Two," The battlers said.
"One!" the audience said. "Let it RIP!" The four beys landed in the stadium. I saw that Kerbecs was much mmor stable now. Probably because of his metal face-heavy. He drifted into the center of the stadium with increased stamina too. I thought that was odd because of the metal face but than I realized, he must've been training really hard to increace his power. As I was drifting off into thought, the battle already ended. I diddn't notice until some random kid shouted,
"Hey, coach! The battle ended! Get on with it!"
I was a little confused, but I still said right away, "Congradulationts to Spider Man for his Amazing Heat Vision in Gothem City! Take THAT priject titanium!" I finally woke up from my thought and looked at the stadium. Kerbecs was the only one left. "What an AMAZING battle!" I shouted. "If you had an extended fantacy about beyblade and beyblade battling, tou missed it! Joe has won!" Half the people in the audience said something like, "What I missed it?" all sarcastic and stuff. I laughed a little too when I said, "Time for the next battle!" I pointed to the TV. "Come on up here, guys!" They all came up at once. "Three! Two! One! Let it rip!" 4 beys landed in the stadium. Three beys could've been found easily. While one was the Golden Griffon. Griffon attacked every bey adding a dent to their design. And then, like a bullet, all of them got knocked out. "A photo finish!" I shouted. "That was the battle royal portion of the tryouts! And now for the one on one!" I pointed to the TV. "Come on up here, beyblading person! The battle will now begin! 3! 2! 1! Let it rip!"

Two beys landed in the stadium. Tempo started out spinning fast, and used nothing but wind current to knock the other guy out. Battles like this kept going on like that until the team was decided. Team name: Soaring Spirit. Bladers: Joe(sub) Jordan(main blader#3) Margret(main blader #2) and I(main blader #1(leader)). The tournament started in 13 days and was a nationwide exuse to miss school! It might've been 13 days for most people but for us it couldnt start soon enough. We trained and trained for 10 whole days! The rest of the time we were still getting stronger. We finally made it to day 11 and started going to Kentucky. We got there by day 12. The one before the tornament. "Well," Margret said, "let's find a BeyBurger. We don't want to miss our date." This surprized me. I completely forgot about the date and had no idea that it would be a day before the the tornament!
"Sure," I said, "I think I se one over there! But you should know I don't have any money on me. Let's bolth use our special moves so we can bolth get a 50% discount! Therefore it'll be free!"
"But Andrew," She said, "I don't have a special move!"
"You don't have a special move?" says Anderw, "in the test battle we had on the way here i saw your bey throw some sort of shock into the air!"
"I don't know what happened then!" Margret said, "it must've been some sort of fluke!"
"So do something about it! Launch Griffon into this stadium right here and really try to connect with it. If you pull it off, we can have what ever you want at beyburger."
She tried to make it spark again, and it worked! Her and him were going to beyburger.
Meanwhile, with Zero
"Okay," Zero says, "add this muscle weakening formula to Andrew's food. Right now is not when we beat him. Right now, we break him. You got it?"
"Yes sir." says a man with a scar on his face. "After all, It's for the team." The man walks out to take Andrew's order.
"I'll have the cheeseburger with a diet soda please." Says Andrew.
"And i would like the same. We'll share the soda." Margret says.
The man walks back and grabs the food. He pours the formula into a soda that he gives to Andrew and gives the burgers to the both of them.

"How was your food?" said Zero's teammate.
"It was really good." I said.
"That's good." Zero's teammate said. "How will you be paying us today? Cash, check, or beyblade?"
"I'd like to show you my special move." I launched tempo. A little later, he stopped spinning. My arm started hurting, and it started to bleed after a little bit.
One drop hit tempo. It started to spin again.
"Tempo!" I said, awestruck. "How are you doing this tempo?!" Tempo started gathering air from around the restaurant, eventually creating a vacuum. Time froze, leaving only Tempo and I to move freely. Tempo pushed Zero's teammate towards the door, being forced to stop halfway. Quickly, tempo came back, and time moved on.
"AAAA!" Zero's teammate said. "How'd I get here?" Everyone in the restaurant was watching him.
"It was my special move," I said, "Drop of time."
Satisfied, I walked out of the restaurant.
"I'll catch up!" Margret said.
"Okay!" I said, still walking. I went over to see Jim, hoping to train with that strange new move.

"Hey Jim." I was saying on the phone.
