"Lets go Slash Stomper Bull!" Seamus shouted. Bull tilted and smashed into three of their wheelz.
"The race has come down to two competitors, Seamus and Ryan!" the DJ announced.
"They are nearing the finish line!"
"Go Bull!"
"Go Gil!" Gil suddenly veered to the right and cut Bull off. Bull rammed into Gil but Gil wouldn't budge.
"Fine, if that's how you want to play" Seamus muttered. Bull slowed a bit then sped up, took a small bounce, and jumped on and over Gil. Bull crossed the finish line a few seconds before Gil wobbled over.
"Seamus is the winner!" The crowd erupted in cheers. Seamus ran over to the finish line and grabbed Bull.
"Great battle Ryan" Seamus held out his hand. Ryan stared at him for a little, picked up Gil, and walked away. Seamus clutched Bull.
"That little-"
"Seamus! Come claim your prize!" the DJ held up a card. Seamus walked up to the stand.
"A pass to the Beywheelz city championships!" Everyone quieted down. Championships?
"Yes! The Beywheelz World Organization has announced that this August, two months from now, the Beywheelz World Championships will begin. City, State, Regional, and National championships will soon be held all around the world! Beywheelerz everywhere prepare your wheelz!" The crowd roared with excitement. Seamus looked at the card. The city championships were in two weeks.
"Good luck and good night everyone!" the DJ said. On his walk back home, Seamus heard weird noises coming from an alleyway. He was always very cautious so just took a peek. To his surprise, he saw a crowd of people battling with Beywheelz.
"Go now! Rampage Beast Scorpio!" a girl about Seamus' age ordered. She was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans. Her hair was red and straight. Scorpio smashed into the other wheelz. The impact was huge and when Seamus could see, Scorpio crossed the finish line and about seven wheelz were wedged into the ground.
"Hey you!" the girl pointed at Seamus. "Aren't you the kid going to the city championships?"
"Y-yes." Seamus said quietly.
"How about this, we'll have a race battle. If I win, I get that pass, if I lose, you keep the pass and I'll give you my wheel."
"W-wait, w-what?"
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Bull and Scorpio hit in mid-air but kept rolling.
"Scorpio! Attack!" Scorpio began hitting Bull.
"Come on! Don't just stand there! Fight back! This is boring!" Seamus shook his head.
"Fine," he whispered "you want a fight? Go Bull! Stomp Crusher!" Bull slowed a bit, then sped up and jumped on and over Scorpio.
"So, you think because that got you a pass to the city championships, its gonna help you keep it? You're out of luck then. Scorpio! Rampage Stinger!" Scorpio sped up, turned around and hit Bull backwards. It circled around and raced for the finish line.
"Bull!" I got to think of something. Fast! Seamus thought.
"I got it! Bull, Slash Stampede!" Bull began bouncing, shaking the ground. Scorpio slowed down. Bull sped ahead and crossed the finish line.
"I-I won!" Seamus ran to pick up Bull. The girl trudged over, picked up Scorpio and handed it to Seamus.
"You won, fair and square. Here." She said quietly. Seamus smiled.
"Keep it. Your a great battler. Maybe we'll face of in the championships sometime. By the way, whats your name?"
"Allison."
"Well, lets battle again sometime. Just for fun though o.k.?" Allison smiled.
"Sure."
"Well, I got to go-wait! Do you know someone named Ryan?"
"I heard of him. Supposed to be good. Kinda conceited from what I heard, why?"
"Just wondering." Seamus began walking.
"Well Ryan, I'm gonna find you and battle you again. And when I do, I won't just beat you, I'll destroy you!"

Seamus woke up early the next day. he got dressed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast, then grabbed Slash Stomper Bull and headed to the park. When he got their, he was surprised to see Ryan battling Allison.
"Go Gil!"
"Scorpio! Rampage Stinger!"
"Now Gil! Wild Speed!" Gil tilted the slightest bit and sped past Scorpio. Allison had been expecting impact and wasn't prepared for Gil to dodge. Scorpio sped in the wrong direction.
"Turn around Scorpio!" Scorpio kicked up dirt as it swung around. It was too late. Gil crossed the finish line and Ryan was the winner. Allison fell to her knees.
"I lost. I-I'm so weak."
"Yes. You are." Ryan said as he began to walk away.
"Hey!" Seamus shouted angrily. "You take that back!"
"No. She said it herself."
"Why you little- Get back here you brat!"
"Fine, but this time, I'm going to defeat you."
"We'll see, 3!"
"2!"
"1"
"Let it Rip! Right away! Bull, Slash Stampede!"
"There's a new one. Pathetic." Ryan laughed. "Wild Shredder Gil! Savage Shredder!" Gil caught up with Bull and began smashing him from behind.
"Your just pushing me towards the finish line!" Seamus smiled. Ryan said nothing. Suddenly, Bull began to slow down.
"Bulls not gonna make it! The best I can get is a tie. Its risky, and I have to use all my remaining to do it, but here goes. Bull! Stomp Crusher!" Bull smashed into Gil. When the dust cleared, Gil was in the dirt, and so was Bull.
"Tie." Seamus said as he picked up Bull.
"You lucked out. Next time, you won't be so lucky." Ryan walked away.
"Man, what a doofus." Seamus muttered.
"Hey Seamus, am I really weak?" Allison asked.
"No, that's just Ryan being Ryan. Don't let get to you."
"Thanks, see you around."
"Bye." Seamus walked over to where three kids were battling.
"Can I join in?"
"Yah, we're just about to begin."
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Watch out Ryan Seamus thought. I'm more pumped then ever to completely destroy you!

"Go Bull! Slash Stampede!" Bull knocked the other three wheelz away and sped across the finish line.
"Yah! I won!" Seamus picked up Bull.
"Your good." One of the kids said.
"Thanks" Seamus smiled. He checked his watch.
"Its lunch time. I better be heading home for lunch. See ya guys!"
''Bye!" As Seamus walked home, he thought about his battle with Ryan.
"So, Ryans got two special moves huh. Wonder if he's gonna be in the city championships?" Seamus walked in through his front door.
"Whats for lunch?" Seamus asked his mom.
"Turkey sandwiches." Seamus sat at the table and began devouring the sandwich. He then chugged down a glass of milk.
"You sure are hungry today" his mom looked at him and laughed.
"Ah um shtavin! Da shanwashis ah graht!" Seamus said with a mouth full of milk soaked turkey sandwich pieces. Once he finished, he went into his room and on the computer. He looked up "Beywheelz Chicago City Championship Qualifiers" Only he was on the list. Then he saw that there were two tournaments tomorrow.
"I should go watch and see the competition." He said to himself. The tournaments were in the afternoon.
"I wonder if Ryan and Allison will enter?" He got up and grabbed Slash Stomper Bull. He went into the backyard and set up three branches evenly distanced from each other.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Bull cleanly maneuvered between the branches.
"I gotta train and train HARD. I don't know what my opponents will have in store."

Seamus ran into the stands. He found a seat and sat down.
"And now, the final battle! Allison versus Charles! Everybody ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Fireblaze!"
"Attack Scorpio!"
"Fireblaze! Molten Mash!" Fireblaze began to glow  a bright orange and began smashing into Scropio.
"No! I gotta do something. Fast! I got it! Scorpio! Poison Beast Tail Dagger!" The Scorpio beast came out and began jabbing Fireblaze with its tail. The two wheelz were almost at the finish line.
"Go Scorpio go!" Scorpio passed the finish line barely before Fireblaze.
"The winner, Allison!" She went to claim her prize. Seamus met her on the way out.
"Awesome battle, and special move!"
"Thanks," Allison smiled. "I was really getting worried."
"You were great! I'm going to watch Ryan battle in the other qualifying tournament. You coming?"
"I-I don't know. Ok, I'll come." They ran to the stadium.
"Wow! What a fierce battle! Kyle and Ryan are tearing it up down there!" Allison and Seamus sat down.
"Go now! Gil! Wild Speed attack!" Gil sped up and crossed the finish line.
"Ryan is the winner! He has now qualified for the City Championship!" Seamus looked at Allison. Her fist were clenched.
"Don't worry. If you train hard, He won't stand a chance."
"Thanks Seamus. I'm gonna go train right now. See ya."
"Bye." Seamus looked at Ryan. "He's gotten stronger for sure. So I'll just have to get even stronger!"

Seamus met with Allison the next day to train.
"Ok, lets race!" Seamus pulled out Slash Stomper Bull.
"Ready when you are!" Allison pulled out Rampage Stomper Scorpio.
"3, 2 ,1, Let it Rip!" Bull took the lead.
"Now Scorpio! Rampage Stinger!"
"Go Bull! Charge!" Suddenly, both their wheelz went flying and landed at their feet.
"So, that's where you are Allison." A girl about Allison's age walked around the corner. She had jet black hair that was as straight as Allison's. She was tall, skinny, and was wearing jeans and a black shirt.
"Buzz off." Allison muttered.
"Well this certainly isn't the grocery store."
"Well maybe I don't want you following me around everywhere!" Allison yelled.
"Um, sorry to interrupt but whats going on here?" Seamus asked.
"Oh, hi. I'm Roxanne. Allison's twin sister. I've been looking all over for her. She said she was going to the grocery store."
"I just wanted to train!"
"You were just jealous of how good I am. So you wanted to get some attention. Well, you think you've gotten better? Lets battle."
"Fine, but I won't show you any mercy!"
"Whatever. 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip."
"I still have no idea whats going on here..." Seamus mumbled as he stepped aside.
"Go! Scorpio!"
"Attack Striker." Seamus noticed that Roxanne wasn't using her full power. But why?
"Scorpio! Poison Beast Tail Dagger!" The Scorpio beast appeared and began attacking Striker.
"Striker, Soaring Flame." Striker began to spin faster and caught on fire. It flew through the air and landed on Scorpio. Scorpio hit a wall and stopped rolling. Striker crossed the finish line.
"I win. Come on Allison, we need to go home now. See ya" She waved to Seamus, who was still very confused. He shrugged and walked over to the park. There wasn't anyone there. So he went home and dozed off. By the time he woke up, dinner was ready. After he ate, he told his parents he was going on a walk. He needed some fresh air. He went to the park and sat on top of the tallest hill there. He had rolled down this hill millions of times as a kid. He had also had many races with his other friends and their Beywheelz. He looked around. Then he saw someone walking up the hill. He stood up, ready to run. He then realized it was Roxanne. He decided to question her.
"Hi. I'm Seamus."
"Hi."
"Um...so, what was going on today anyway?"
"You wanna know?"
"Well, that's sorta why I'm asking."
"Fine. I'll tell you. You see, Allison and I are twins. When we were younger, she was better than me at everything. She ran faster than me, swam better than me, climbed better than me, everything. She was at the top of her class, on the swimming team and all of that. My parents would always say how great and talented she was. Then, I was at the park one day, and I saw a bunch of kids playing with Beywheelz on this hill. One rolled over to me and I picked it up. I looked at it and immediately went to the store and bought one. I poured my heart and soul into getting better at it. Soon, Allison began to play but she could never win against me. She got frustrated that she wasn't better than me at something. Ever since then, we've been angry at each other most of the time." Rozanne sighed.
"Well...I'm sorry. Say, are you qualified for the city championships?" Seamus changed the subject.
"I'm entered in tomorrows qualifying tournament."
"I'm qualified. But I'll watch." Seamus said.
"Thanks. Well, its getting late, I should be getting home." Roxanne said.
"Same here. Bye"
"Bye"

Seamus woke up early. He tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. He looked outside. It was still dark. He went to his desk and turned on the computer. He checked his email and saw mail from the Beywheelz Organization. It said-
Hello Seamus, we would like to inform you that the final qualifying tournament will be held tomorrow. We would like you to come as we will be giving information about the city championships.

Seamus was excited. There was no way he was going to go back to sleep. He walked quietly downstairs and made some toast. As he sat down and waited for his toast, he heard a knock on his door. A small boy was at the door.
"Are you Seamus O'Donnell?"
"Yah" Seamus yawned.
"Lets battle!" the boy pulled out his wheel.
"What!? Its like 5:30 in the morning! Shouldn't you be asleep?"
"That's my problem. Lets go!"
"Ok ok. Let me get my stuff." Seamus ran up to his room and grabbed his launcher, ripcord and Slash Stomper Bull. He ran downstairs and into the backyard. The boy was already there.
"Ready shorty?"
"Yah!"
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!!" Slash Stomper Bull sped to the front.
"Now! Go Bull! Slash Stampede!"
"Dodge it Kerbecs!" Kerbecs didn't dodge in time and stopped rolling.
"No! I can't believe I lost!" the boy grabbed Kerbecs and walked away.
"So thats Seamus." He said, smiling.

At 10:00, Seamus walked over the the arena. The tournament was just starting.
"Ok everyone! Our first battle, Roxanne vs. Billy!" Seamus watched the battles, sizing up the winners.
"Now! Eli vs. Carly!" Seamus stopped eating his nachos and looked at the battle. The boy he battled before was entered in the tournament!
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Kerbecs!" Eli shouted. "Triple Shredder!" Kerbecs began glowing red and smashed into the other wheel three times. That was enough. The opponents wheel went flying.
"Yah! Great job Raging Shredder Kerbecs!" Eli jumped up and down and tried to do a cartwheel. Seamus decided to keep an eye on him. After he finished his nachos. By the time the finals came, the whole crowd was watching Eli. He had always finished his opponents in one hit. Now he would be facing Roxanne.
"The final battle! Who will win and go to the city championships? Roxanne and Eli, are you ready?"
"Lets finish this off quick." Eli said.
"Come at me runt." Roxanne said.
"3, 2, 1, Let it rip!!!" Striker and Kerbecs flew onto the track.
"Lets hurry this up, I'm hungry. Now Kerbecs! Triple Shredder!"
"Counter it! Striker, Soaring Flame!" The two beys clashed in mid-air. Kerbecs was now in the lead.
"Your gonna need to do better than that!" Eli shouted.
"I will." Roxanne said. "Striker! Volcano Rush!"
"Triple Shredder!" A cloud of dust formed. When the dust cleared, both wheelz were wedged in the ground.
"Its...a tie!" the DJ shouted.
"How will we decide which of these five qualifying wheelerz will get the four slots in the city championship? An all out five player race! Will the five qualifiers please come down to the stadium?" Seamus came down first. He guessed Ryan and Allison had gotten the email too, because they were there to.
"Ok, everyone ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Bull!"
"Gil!"
"Scorpio!"
"Striker!"
"Kerbecs!" All five beywheelz took off.
"Gil! Attack them all!!!! Savage Shredder!" Gil slowed then raced towards the others.
"I won't l-" Seamus was interrupted by Eli.
"-let you! Kerbecs! Triple Shredder!" Kerbecs slowed down to counter Gil. The result was an explosion on impact. When the dust cleared, Gil, Kerbecs, and Scorpio were behind the others. Bull and Striker crossed the finish line.
"Yes! I made it!" Roxanne shouted.
"I-I did it." Seamus breathed a sigh of relief.
"Roxanne and Seamus have secured their spots! Now its between Ryan, Allison, and Eli!" The DJ shouted.
"Wild Speed!" Seamus reverted his attention to the battle. Gil had just crossed the finish line.
"Ryan is in!" The DJ shouted.
"Lets do this! Kerbecs! Triple Shredder!"
"Ha. That's an old trick. Scorpio! Poison Beast Tail Dagger!" An explosion hid the outcome. When the dust cleared, both wheelz were still rolling towards the finish line. Scorpio had the slight edge and Eli knew it.
"I'm not losing! I'm not losing! Kerbecs! Hades Rage!" The Kerbecs beast appeared and shot a blast of dark energy from its three mouths. Scorpio was blasted away.
"And Eli is the final City qualifier! Congratulations to the four wheelerz moving on to the city championships! Great battle all!" Allison fell to her knees.
"I can't believe it! I'm so weak!" suddenly, the look on Allison's face changed.
"It's not my fault, I should've won! If the squirt hadn't gone and used his special move, I would've made it! Its his fault! Its your fault Eli!"
"My fault? My fault!? I won fair and square!"
"I'm better than you! I should be the last qualifier!"
"Wanna prove it?" Eli stepped towards the racetrack.
"Looks like a heated battle is about to unfold! Stay tuned Beywheel fans! The battle for the final pass to the championships is about to begin!" the DJ shouted.

Seamus, Roxanne, and Ryan took a seat in the stands.
"It all comes down to this huh?" Seamus said.
"Yah, at least we made it." Roxanne said, obviously happy she wasn't in the battle about to happen. Ryan said nothing.
"Ok shrimp! I'm taking you down!" Allison shouted.
"In your dreams!" Eli readied his launcher.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Kerbecs, lets get down to business! Triple Shredder!"
"Scorpio! Rampage Stinger!" The two wheelz clashed and flew away from each other. Scorpio and Kerbecs were neck to neck.
"Kerbe-"
"Scorpio! Poison Beast Tail Dagger!" Allison shouted. Eli smiled.
"Perfect, Use all your power! Dodge that attack!" Kerbecs just barely dodged. Scorpio flew off course.
"You little- Scorpio! Get back on track!" Scorpio got back but was way behind Kerbecs.
"Race! Run! Win!" Eli shouted. By now, Scoprio had almost caught up. They were nearing the finish line.
"Go!"
"Go!"
"And the  winner is..." the DJ checked the instant replay cameras. "Eli and Kerbecs! They have done it!" the crowd erupted in cheer. Seamus went down to greet the two of them with Roxanne behind him. When they got there, Allison was gone.
"I did it! Didja see me Seamus! I won!"
"Good job Eli. That was a great battle. Did you see where Allison went?"
"Nope. She kinda just...disappeared or something."
"Weird. Anyway, its been a long day, I better be heading back home." Seamus said.
"Me too." Eli and Roxanne said at the same time. On the way home, Seamus wondered about Allison. Why had she suddenly acted so strangely? Had she always been like that? He would have to ask Roxanne the next time he saw her. He also wondered about the upcoming city championships. Would he be good enough to win?
"Oh well. If I am I am, and if I'm not, well, I'm not."

Seamus woke up early to the sound of his computer alerting him he had an email. He groaned and got out of bed.
"I thought I turned this dang thing off." Seamus mumbled to himself. He rubbed his eyes and looked at the email. It was from the Beywheelz Organization. It said-
Dear Seamus, Ryan, Eli and Roxanne,
In case you don't know, the City Championships is a team tournament. You four are now a team. Please meet in the Beywheelz headquarters to discuss the details of your team as soon as you can. Thank you-
The Beywheelz Organization
Seamus looked over the email again.
"A team huh? Interesting." he got up and got dressed. He replayed all the final battles in his head while he brushed his teeth. When he finished, he grabbed Slash Stomper Bull and wrote a note to his parents. On his way to the Headquarters, he met up with Eli.
"Hi Seamus!" Eli almost sang.
"Your in a good mood." Seamus yawned.
"Well I'm on a real Beywheelz team, competing against other teams for the title of the best! Why wouldn't I be happy." Seamus smiled. Eli was right. He was lucky to be able to compete at this level. When they reached the HQ, they were greeted by a young man.
"You must be Seamus and Eli. The others are already upstairs." he said, leading them up a flight of stairs. When they reached the top, the man swiped an ID card and a door opened. He motioned for Eli and Seamus to go inside. They did and the door closed behind them. Ryan and Roxanne were sitting on two couches. Seamus knew Ryan would want to sit alone, and he didn't really want to sit next to him, so he sat next to Roxanne. Eli must have thought the same thing, because he sat next to Seamus. For the first time, Seamus realized a man sitting at a desk at the far wall.
"I'm glad all of you could make it." the man said. "I am the Beywheelz Organization founder and CEO. My name is Mr. Vernon." Everyone nodded.
"Now, we are here to discuss your team. In order to register for the tournament you need a name for your team, a captain, two regular members, and a substitute. Here is the tournament format- All battles are one-on-one. The two types of battles used will be crash battles and race battles. Race battles go first, crash battles second. If there is a tie, the team that won the last round gets to pick which battle style they will use. It is best two out of three. The tournaments is double elimination. Understood?"
"Yes." Everyone replied.
"Now, I will make some preparations and you can discuss your team."
"Well, first of all, who's the captain?" Eli asked. No one volunteered.
"It should be the best blader on the team of course." Roxanne said.
"Well, Seamus has beaten Ryan and me. But those were the only single battles that happened between us. If Seamus can beat Roxanne, he's the best wheeler on the team." Eli said.
"But if Seamus loses, one of us has to beat all the others to tie." Ryan said.
"Well, lets just focus on the first battle. Seamus, Roxanne whaddya say? You up for it?" Mr. Vernon asked.
"I'm ready!" Seamus said.
"Lets go!" Roxanne clenched Striker. The Mr. Vernon directed them to an arena.
"Ok. Lets go! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!!!"

"Go Bull!"
"Go Striker!" The two wheelz bounced and hit.
"Bull! Stomp Crusher!" Seamus ordered. Bull bounced and hit Striker.
"Striker! Soaring Flame!" Striker flew through the air flaming hot. It hit Bull. The hits went back and forth. Soon, they were nearing the finish line.
"Run Striker!"
"Go Bull!" Then, all of a sudden, Striker stopped. Bull slowed and stopped after Striker.
"I win!" Seamus exclaimed.
"Wait!" Eli ran onto the field. "Bull hasn't crossed the finish line!" Seamus looked. Eli was right. Bull hadn't crossed the finish line.
"So...what now?" Seamus wondered.
"I'll give it to you." Roxanne smiled.
"That makes you the captain Seamus!" Eli jumped up and down.
"M-me? I-I'm the captain? I can't. I'm not a good leader." Ryan made a noise. Eli stuck out his tongue at him.
"I'm sorry guys. I can't do this. I can't lead a team. Roxanne, you do it."
"Me? But your the best! You beat everyone!"
"I didn't beat you. Your a good leader. You could lead this team to victory."
"Ok! So its decided then!" Eli shouted. "The new leader of Team...hey! We don't have a team name yet!" Everyone looked at each other. Eli, Roxanne, and Seamus burst out laughing.
"No, I guess we don't." Seamus said.
"Well, whats it gonna be? Whats it gonna be?" Eli asked.
"I dunno..." Seamus wondered.

"The Neo-Knights" Ryan said. He then walked back inside to tell the CEO.
"Well thanks for consulting us!" Seamus shouted to a closed door. But he did like the name. Roxanne and Eli didn't object so they must've thought so also. The three of them followed Ryan inside. He was already talking to Mr. Vernon.
"So Neo-Knights it is. Roxanne is the captain and Eli is the sub?" Ryan nodded.
"What!? I'm the sub!? You never even asked me if it ok!!!"
"I didn't need to." Ryan said simply. Eli clenched his fist.
"Calm down everyone," Mr. Vernon said. "The City Championships start in three days. So train, prepare, and do your best!" Everyone nodded. On his way to the park, Seamus saw Allison. She was in the alley where he had first met her.
"Crush them! Defeat them!" she shouted. Seamus looked at her. Whats happened to her? She never acted this angry. Maybe its personal. I'll leave her alone. When he got to the park, Roxanne was battling a bunch of kids.
"Go! Attack!"
"Striker! Volcano Rush!" Roxanne shouted. The other wheelz were shot out of the race track.
"Your good." the kids muttered as they picked up their wheelz.
"Nice one." Seamus said, smiling.
"Really? Thanks." Roxanne said, picking up Striker.
"Hey! Are you Seamus?" A cloaked person asked.
"Yah, whaddya want?" Seamus asked. The person pulled out a Beywheel.
"Oh, I see. The cliche cloaked guy silent type huh?" Seamus muttered, attaching Bull to his launcher.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" the two wheelz clashed in midair.
"Go Claw Blade Leone!" The cloaked guy shouted. "Special move! Blade Pounce!" Leone sped up and jumped straight up in the air. It landed on Bull. Then, Seamus saw bits of rubber flying in all directions.
"B-Bull? No!" Bull was being torn apart.
"You think thats bad? Leone! Claw Destruction!" Leone began spinning. It crashed into Bull once. The second time, tore it in half.
"Bull! No!" Seamus fell to his knees.
"Good luck in the tournament!" The cloaked figure laughed. The bits of Bull fell on the ground next to Seamus.
"No! Bull's gone!" Seamus stood up then began to fall. Roxanne caught him.
"Bulls gone...gone...my wheel is gone!" Roxanne held Seamus up.
"I'll get you a new one. And defeat that guy. I'll defeat him for you."

Seamus hadn't been out of his room since Bull was destroyed four hours ago. He heard the doorbell ring. He ignored it. His dad was working and his mom was out shopping. The doorbell rang again. And again.
"Seamus! I know your in there...I think!" It was Roxanne. Seamus didn't want to talk.
"Come one! Please! I got something for you!" Seamus sighed and went downstairs to open the door.
"Hi." He said, motioning for her to come in. He sat down on the couch and she sat next to him.
"I got something for you." she pulled out a beywheel.
"It's called Rampage Beast Gil. Its no Bull but...I hope you like it." Seamus smiled.
"I like it a lot. Thank you." Roxanne smiled.
"Well, I'm going back to the park. You wanna come?" Roxanne asked.
"Well...ok." Roxanne smiled. Seamus admired his new wheel the whole way there.
"Lets do a trial battle. Is that ok?" Roxanne asked.
"Yah, lets go!" Seamus attached Gil to his launcher.
3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Striker quickly took the lead. Seamus panicked but than remembered Gil was a power type.
"Lets see what you can do. Gil! Ocean Rampage!" Gil started spinning faster and became soaked in water. It charged at Striker, hitting it up in the air.
"And now! Beast Whirlpool!" A whirlpool formed above Gil. It caught Striker and threw it out of the track.
"I did it!" Seamus shouted.
"Awesome job! You were able to control Gil perfectly!" Roxanne grabbed Striker.
"Thanks. For everything." Seamus said.
"Huh? Ah, your welcome." Roxanne smiled. Then, a bunch of kids came running towards them holding pieces of rubber in their hands.
"What? Wait...those are...beywheelz!" Seamus ran to the kids.
"Did a guy in a cloak do this to you?" Seamus asked.
"Y-y-yes. He totally destroyed our wheelz! He d-didnt eve-even care ab-bout our wheelz!" one of the kids cried.
"Lets go Roxanne!"
"But...Bull remember?" Roxanne said quietly. Seamus paused.
"I-it doesn't matter! I know how these kids feel and its not good. We need to stop this guy once and for all!" Seamus ran off in the direction the kids came from.
"Seamus...ok. Im coming!" she shouted, running in the same direction. By the time she got there, Seamus was on the ground He was covered in scratches and bleeding. Gil was next to him. It was in one piece, but had some scratches.
"Seamus!? Are you ok!?" Roxanne checked his pulse.
"Please, please, don't be..." she felt a pulse and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Seamus. Can you say something? Anything?" Seamus stirred. Roxanne called the hospital. They said they were on their way.
"Hang in there Seamus. Please." Tears began to form in Roxanne's eyes.

Seamus woke up in what looked like a hospital. He sat up then immediately fell back down. Everything hurt. He then remembered what happened. A bunch of kids had come to him and Roxanne holding shreds of their wheelz. Seamus found the source of this, it was the cloaked figure who had destroyed Bull a few hours earlier. He had battled him with his new wheel, Rampage Beast Gil. He had lost, and the last thing he remembered was seeing Gil go flying.
"Your awake!" Seamus looked in the direction of the voice. It was Eli.
"You had us worried!"
"Us?"
"Yah, Roxanne is here. She's having a nervous breakdown!" Eli said.
"Be quiet runt!" Roxanne shouted from what sounded like right outside the room. "Ryan's here too but he's at a vending machine. He pretends like he doesn't care but he's here isn't he?" Seamus smiled. He looked to his right. On a table was Gil. In one piece. Seamus felt the anxiety flow out of him. He and Gil were still in one piece.
"How long do I have to stay here?" Seamus asked. Roxanne walked in.
"A few more hours. We can stay if you want."
"If you want to." Seamus was glad to hear he wouldn't have to be in here for more than a day. He would be able to get some more training in.  Roxanne, Eli, and him sat and talked about the tournament, the cloaked wheeler, and the team. Soon, Eli had to eat dinner.
"Bye guys!" he shouted.
"See ya." Seamus and Roxanne said. Seamus tried to sit up. He shut his eyes as his pain shot up his leg. Roxanne jumped up.
"Are you ok!?"
"Yah...I'll be fine." Seamus mumbled. They didn't say anything for a while.
"Hey Seamus?"
"Yah?"
"I...gotta go home. Sorry."
"That's fine. I should be getting out soon anyway."
"Bye."
"Bye." Seamus tried moving around a little. He was starting to feel better. Half an hour later, he went home.
"Well, the tournament is in two days. Better train hard tomorrow." he said as he drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Seamus got to the park extra early. Ryan was already there.
"Go! Gil!" Gil knocked five other wheelz out of the track.
"Hey Ryan," Seamus ran over to him. "Wanna battle?"
"Fine." Ryan muttered.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Both Gils sped down the track.
"Go Gil!"
"Gil. Savage Shredder."
"Ocean Rampage!"
"Go Leone!" A voice from shouted. A huge explosion temporarily hid the track from view. When Seamus and Ryan could see, both of their wheelz were on the ground next to them.
"What was that!?" Ryan picked up Gil.
"That was defeat." the cloaked figure laughed.
"Can we at least get your name?" Seamus shouted.
"C.J." The figure said.
"Well 'C.J.' how about a little share of defeat for you?" Ryan attached Gil to his launcher.
"Ryan. You shouldn't battle him."
"Don't tell me what to do."
"Don't say I didn't warn you..."
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Lets make it quick, Leone! Blade Pounce!" Seamus cringed as he watched bits of Gil start flying everywhere.
"Gil! Savage Shredder!"
"I'm afraid your the one who's gonna get shredded. Leone! Claw Destruction!" C.J. said. Then, in an instant, it was over. Gil was next to Ryan, split in half. Ryan didn't do anything for a minute. He then picked up Gil and walked away.
"So, are you gonna battle me?" C.J. asked Seamus.
"No." Seamus muttered.
"Smart kid. Watch out. Your girlfriend is next."
"I don't have a girlfriend!" Seamus shouted. Who was he talking about? Maybe he meant Allison. But she wasn't his girlfriend. Neither was Roxanne. C.J. had no idea what he was talking about. He probably was talking Roxanne though.
"Next time, he should do more research." Seamus said as he ran to Roxanne's house. When he got there, he was out of breath. He rang the doorbell.
"Seamus?" Allison looked surprised.
"I...I need to...talk to Roxanne...it's important." he said, breathing heavily. Roxanne was outside in an instant.
"What is it? You said it's important?" She seemed excited.
"Yah...the cloaked wheeler, his name is C.J. and he destroyed Ryan's wheel. He said he was coming for my g-you next. Just don't battle him please." Roxanne looked at Seamus then nodded.
"Ok. That all?"
"Yah. See you tomorrow for the tournament."
"Yup. Bye."
"Bye." Seamus went back to the park and trained till sunset. He didn't like Ryan, but he hoped he was ok. And he hoped Ryan would be able to participate in the tournament tomorrow. He knew how much beywheelz meant to him, even if he didn't always show it.
"Good luck Ryan." He said quietly.

Seamus didn't sleep very well the night before the tournament. He woke up in the closet.
"Huh? How did I get here!?" He jumped up, almost hitting his head on a shelf.
"Must've sleepwalked." He mumbled, grabbing Gil. He got dressed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast, and ran to the arena. When he got there, Eli, Ryan, and Roxanne were waiting for him.
"Hi guys." He said cheerfully.
"Hi!" Eli said. Roxanne smiled and nodded. Ryan mumbled something under his breath.
"Come on. the tournaments gonna start!" Eli ran into the arena. Seamus was glad to see Eli was happy. It meant his wheel hadn't been destroyed by C.J. When the three of them got inside, the teams were already being introduced.
"And now, last but not least, the Neo-Knights!" The four of them walked into the play area and the crowd cheered.
"The tournament will be double elimination! So lets see the match-ups!" The DJ pointed to the screen. Seamus looked up. They would be battling Team Thunder.
"The first battle will be Team Blaze vs. The Ravagers!" The DJ motioned to both the teams. Seamus gasped. The Ravagers team...C.J. was on it! He tapped Roxanne and motioned towards the Ravagers. Her eyes got wide. Then, she clenched her fists.
"Don't worry, we'll beat him." Seamus reassured her. She nodded.
"The first battle will be a race battle! First up for Team Blaze is...Carl! First up for the Ravagers, Jerry! Let the battle begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Fireblaze!" Carl shouted.
"Win it now. Pegasus, Wind Slash." Jerry said, unenthusiastically. Fireblaze was knocked high into the air and fell, no longer rolling.
"...And the first battle is over in an instant!" the DJ said, surprised.
"Now, the crash battle! The captain for Team Blaze, Bernard! And for the Ravagers...the sub? Yes, the sub William! Ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Cetus, Dagger Tail." William said. A huge explosion followed. When the dust cleared, Bernard was on the ground and his Fireblaze was right beside him. The crowd gasped. Bernard got up and picked up Fireblaze.
"And just like that, in a matter of minutes, the victor has been decided! The Ravagers move on to the next round!" Seamus looked at the screen. They would be battling next. He got up and headed towards the battle arena. The rest of the team followed.
"Now, the Neo-Knights vs. The Shadow Warriors! The first battle will be a race battle! Who will go first?" The two wheelerz stepped up.
"Team captain Roxanne vs. Thomas! Ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Go! Striker! Soaring Flame!" Roxanne shouted.
"Dodge Zurafa!" Zurafa dodged and Striker hit the ground.
"Now its my turn! Shadow Slinger!" A dark purple aura seeped out of Zurafa and hit Striker, knocking it backwards.
"Again Zurafa!" Striker kept being thrown back.
"I can't lose...I just can't! Striker! Volcano Rush!"
"Not good enough." Thomas grinned. "Zurafa! Shadow Shield!" A dark shield covered Zurafa, blocking Strikers attack.
"I...I can't attack...I'm gonna lose..." Roxanne hung her head.
"Don't gi-" Seamus began.
"-ve up!" Eli finished. Roxanne looked over at them.
"As long as they haven't given up on me, I won't give up on me...or Striker. Show him what your made of Striker! Special move! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" Striker began to move in a circle. Soon, a flaming tornado formed, hitting Zurafa. It was flung out of the track just as Striker crossed the finish line. The crowd cheered. Seamus and Eli went out to greet her.
"G-"
"-reat job!" Eli cut Seamus off. Seamus playfully pushed him. Roxanne smiled.
"Thanks guys. Who's up next?" Ryan passed by.
"Well that answers that question." Seamus muttered.
"It looks like the second round will be a crash battle between...Ryan vs. Team captain Oswald!" the DJ shouted. Eli, Roxanne, and Seamus sat down on the team bench.
"Ok, lets get this party started! Ready wheelerz? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Lets get this over with! Bull!" Oswald motioned. Seamus cringed, remembering his old wheel. Roxanne looked over at him. She wanted to say something, but didn't know what. Eli looked concerned also.
"Hey whats wrong Seamy boy?" he asked. Seamus felt anger rising up in him. Then he realized Eli didn't know what had happened to Bull. He took a deep breath.
"Nothing. Just an itch, thats all." He said, scratching his back. Eli shrugged. On the battlefield, Ryan was dominating.
"No, Bull!"
"You're finished! Dagger Blade Drago! Blades of Fury!" Drago got right in front of Bull, turned slightly, then began bashing it with its Attack Gear. Bull hit the wall and stopped rolling.
"No Bull!"
"And the winner is Ryan using his new Drago!" the DJ said. Thats right! Seamus thought, Ryan had his wheel destroyed by C.J. too. The DJ continued,
"That means The Neo-Knights advance to the next round!"
"Great job g-"
"-uys!"
"Knock it off!" Seamus yelled. Eli ran around the bench laughing his head off. Seamus face-palmed himself. Roxanne laughed. Ryan turned away.
"Well, lets get ready for round two!" Roxanne said, grabbing Eli. Everyone nodded.
"Lets win it all!" Eli shouted.

As the other teams battled, the Neo-Knights sat in the team room. Eli was running around in circles, Roxanne was drinking a bottle of water, Ryan was buying something from a vending machine, and Seamus was reflecting. So much has happened since the qualifying tournament I entered. I won the tournament, met Ryan, met Allison, watched them win their tournaments, met Roxanne, met Eli, watched them tie in the finals, battled for a place on the team, seen my wheel and others shredded to pieces, now my team has won the first round of the City Championships. I've made new friends, become less quiet, and had more fun then i ever had before. Seamus couldn't help but smiling.
"Thanks." He said randomly. Eli stopped running and looked at him, Roxanne turned to face him. Ryan raised his eyebrow.
"Thanks for being the best friends and teammates ever." Roxanne and Eli beamed, and Seamus swore he saw Ryan grin just the littlest bit.
"Aw, right back atcha." Roxanne said, blushing.
"No problemo Seamy boy!" Eli came up to him and slapped him on the back. Ryan threw away his candy wrapper. Eli threw his head back cackled like a maniac.
"Come on Ryan! You know you like being on a team with us!" He said.
"Whatever." Ryan muttered.
"C'mon. You can stop bein' so cold and cool for a second." Eli went over to him, holding out his hand. Ryan sighed, then shook it. Eli started laughing again. Seamus couldn't help smiling. Neither could Roxanne. Soon, even Ryan was smiling. Just then, they heard a gasp from the crowd. The four of them rushed out to see what happened. A wheeler was on the ground, and his wheel was in pieces next to him.
"A-and C.J. from the Ravagers completely annihilates his opponent! The Ravagers move on to the third round!" the DJ said, clearly concerned. Soon, a stretcher was brought out and two people lifted the injured wheeler onto it. Seamus ran over and put the remaining pieces of the destroyed wheel next to its owner. The wheeler opened his eyes and groaned. Seeing Seamus placing the wheel next to him, he tried to smile.
"Th-thanks. P-please, defeat th-this t-t-team for m-me." Seamus nodded.
"I will. Don't worry." The wheeler nodded and was carried off.
"And the next battle, The Neo-Knights vs. Team Ace! Get ready! The race battle is about to begin!"

"I'll go first." Roxanne said, stepping forward.
"Its Roxanne vs. Manny! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go now Striker! Soaring Flame!" Roxanne ordered.
"Lacerta! Spike Tail Smash!" Lacerta dodged the attack, then turned and hit Striker.
"Again! Again!" Manny shouted. Lacerta kept hitting Striker.
"Race for the finish line Lacerta!"
"Go Striker!" As the wheelz neared the finish line, they were neck and neck.
"Lacerta! Smash Striker!" Manny ordered. Lacerta hit Striker, knocking it off course just the slightest bit. It was enough though, as Lacerta crossed the finish line just before Striker.
"And Lacerta barely won! What a great battle!" Roxanne walked back to the bench.
"Sorry guys." She said quietly.
"Thats ok. I'm going next ok?" Seamus stood up.
"Yup. Go and win it!" Eli said.
"Fine." Ryan said.
"The next battle is Seamus vs. Martin! Lets go! Ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

Seamus took a deep breath, then launched Gil. The two wheelz charged at each other, and it would be clear the collision would be massive. Then, Seamus took a close look at Martins wheel.
"Savage Stomper Aries." He said to himself. He suddenly slashed his hand through the air.
"Turn Gil!"
"Turn!?" Martin shouted. Gil turned and just barely missed impact. Aries kept going and hit the wall that kept the wheelz from rolling out of the stadium during a crash battle.
"Good job Gil! Now, go at him head on!" Gil charged towards Aries.
"Oh no you don't! Aries! Special move! Savage charge!"
"Right into my trap. Now Gil! Beast Whirlpool! The more powerful the attack my opponent uses, the more effective this special move is!"
"You're kidding!" Martin said in disbelief.
"Find out for yourself.' Seamus said, pointing to the stadium as Aries was sucked in and flung out of the whirlpool and out of the stadium.
"No!" Martin cried.
"Seamus keeps the Neo-knights alive with an astounding victory! Now, the Neo-knights get to decided what battle style will be used in the third and final round!" Ryan stepped up.
"A race battle!" He said.
"What!?" Eli, Roxanne, and Seamus shouted at the same time.
"A-are you sure?" The DJ asked.
"Yes."
"Well then, a race battle it is! Ryan is battling for the Neo-knights and its Felicity for the Aces! Lets get this battle underway! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Drago!" Ryan shouted. Seamus took a closer look at Ryan. He had never seen him so exhilarated.
"Soaring Wing Fireblaze you can beat him easy!" Felicity shouted, a bit to confidently Seamus thought. He then looked at Ryan. He was smiling. He could have sworn he saw Ryan murmur something under his breath then,
"Drago! Go!" Ryan ordered, as Drago began to catch up to Fireblaze. They were both nearing the finish line with Fireblaze in the lead. Then, all of a sudden, Fireblaze stopped. It simply stopped. Felicity looked around the track, bewildered. Drago crossed the finish line. Ryan went over, picked it up, and walked away.
"What happened?" Felicity shouted to Ryan. He ignored her.
"You won ok! Just tell me what happened!" Ryan stopped and turned.
"I beat you thats what happened." Ryan seemed to be looking for a reaction from Felicity. She crossed her arms and glared at him.
"Ok ok. I used Drago's special move, Dragon Force. The Drago beast turns invisible and wraps around your wheel, slowly stopping it." Eli gasped. Seamus eyes grew wide. Roxanne gaped.
"I...I never knew...someone could make a beast become-" Roxanne started.
"Invisible!" Eli said in a loud whisper.
"Well...Thats it! Turning his beast invisible, Ryan gets the win and the Neo-Knights move to the next round!" The DJ said, obviously surprised. As Ryan sat down on the bench, Eli approached him.
"So, you just wanted to show off your new special move didn't you?"
"I wanted to test it out." Ryan said simply. Eli clenched his fists.
"You put everything on the line just to try out your new special move?!"
"Yup." Ryan smiled at the sight of Eli's face going red as he stomped off. When Eli was out of earshot, Ryan muttered to no one in particular, "I tested it out last night." Seamus smiled. Roxanne laughed.
"And the next battle is...The Ravagers vs. The Shockers!" Seamus' smile faded. Roxanne grew quiet. Eli sat down.
"For the race battle, Jerry vs. Hunter! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Pegasus, Wind Slash." Jerry said. Hunter was ready.
"Striker! Flaming Horn Smash!" The wheelz hit each other and an explosion ensued. When things cleared up, Striker was slowly rolling and Pegasus sped across the finish line.
"And as expected, another quick win for the Ravagers!" The DJ shouted.
"And the next battle! C.J. vs. Chris! Let the crash battle begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Claw Blade Leone. Blade Pounce." C.J. said right away.
"Destroyer! Rampage Shield!" The Destroyer beast came out and began swinging its shield violently. It knocked back Leone's attack and began to fight back.
"What?!" C.J. shouted, surprised. "Fine. If that's how its gonna be,  Leone! Claw Destruction!"
"Destroyer! Rampage Shield!" A little dust kicked up but it was clear what happened. Leone cut through Destroyer's shield and, well, destroyed Destroyer. Three pieces of Destroyers attack gear flew straight up out of the stadium. Bits and pieces of Destroyers other parts scattered everywhere.
"And C.J. is the winner! That means the Ravagers go to the semi-finals! Now, lets see if the Neo-Knights can do the same!" Eli got up. Ryan looked at him. Eli frowned.
"I'm going first." He said firmly. Ryan sneered but didn't do anything to stop him.
"Looks like the first battle will be a race battle between Eli and Maxwell! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go! Raging Shredder Kerbecs!" Kerbecs knocked into Maxwell's Fireblaze. Its attack gear began shredding at Fireblaze's spirit shield.
"Fireblaze no!"
"Lets go now! Kerbecs! Triple Shredder!" The second the attack hit, Fireblaze hit the side of the track and stopped. Kerbecs crossed the finish line soon after.
"Yes! I won!" Eli called back Kerbecs and smiled mischievously at Ryan who rolled his eyes.
"Next battle is..." Roxanne stepped up. "Roxanne vs. Jack! Let the crash battle begin!"
"3!" Roxanne attached Striker to her launcher.
"2!" Jack attached Zurafa to his launcher.
"1!" They stared each other gone.
"Let it Rip!"

"Zurafa! Wild Kick!"
"Striker! Turn and block!" Striker waited until the last second and turned, blocking the attack.
"Turn and attack! Soaring Flame!" Roxanne followed up. Striker took a sharp turn and flew into the sky. It began to glow red and heat up as it came closer and closer to Zurafa.
"Run Zurafa!" Zurafa tried to dodge. Striker came down and just barely missed Zurafa. Zurafa turned and came back at Striker.
"I'm going to finish this now you hear me?" Jack shouted. Roxanne clenched her fists. "Zurafa! Ultimate Wild Kick!"
"Striker!" An explosion ensued. When the dust cleared, Striker was still rolling, but barely.
"Striker, Soaring Flame!"
"Dodge again!" Zurafa dodged.
"Again again again again!" Roxanne shouted.
"Dodge dodge dodge dodge!" Jack said. Roxanne watched his movements. She looked at the stadium. Then, she smiled. Striker turned around heading towards the stadium exit.
"What is Roxanne doing?" The DJ shouted.
"Well, if shes going to lose, I'm gonna be the one to do it. Go Zurafa!" Jack shouted. Then Striker turned.
"Too bad, even if you dodge, I don't have enough momentum to roll out of the stadium!" Jack grinned.
"Soaring Flame!" Roxanne shouted as Striker flew into the air. Then, Jack saw it. A look of despair took over the grin that had once been on his face. He was trapped. If he didn't dodge, he would get hit by the attack. He was going to fast to turn around and if he did dodge, the speed he would need to use to dodge would be to much to control and Zurafa would roll right out of the stadium. Jack closed his eyes. He was trapped and there was no way to get out. He was going to take the safest way out.
"Dodge, Zurafa..." He mumbled. Zurafa dodged and rolled out of the stadium.
"Wow...That was amazing!" The DJ was awe. An amazing turn of events, an amazing strategy, and a win for the Neo-Knights! What a battle! Congratulations to the Neo-Knights who will move on to the semi-finals which will take place tomorrow! Hotel accommodations will be provided for all remaining teams. See you tomorrow everybody!" When they reached the hotel, Eli went nuts.  
"This is better than my own house! Look at the beds! A flat screen TV! A shelf of movies! Get a load of that bathroom! Wow!"
"Only Eli would get excited over a toilet." Ryan muttered. Seamus and Roxanne laughed. Slowly, the anxiety of the tournament washed away with the soap Eli had just flushed down the toilet.
"There are two rooms that are connected so two people to a room. I'm not with Eli." Ryan got the last part out as quickly as possible.
"I'll keep Eli in line." Roxanne said. "Eli! Get your head out of the microwave and move your stuff to the other room!" There was a bang, a yell, and Eli ran into the room with his stuff. Seamus took a look around the two rooms in the hotel. Eli was right, if not over reactive. The hotel was really fancy. After everyone got settled in, they went down to eat dinner. Eli wiped out the buffet and scared away six people but other than that, the food and the evening overall was great. The four of them watched a movie, practiced a little, then went to bed. Seamus couldn't wait to wake up.

"Seeeeeaaaaamus...Seeeaaaamus...I'm haunting you!"
"AH!" Seamus woke up with a start.
"C'mon! We're gonna be late!" Eli shook Seamus. Seamus turned and looked at the clock.
"Ah! I overslept!" Seamus jumped up, knocking Eli on his butt.
"Hey watch it bub!" Eli stood up. Meanwhile, Seamus was running around like Eli on a sugar rush. In no time at all, he was ready to go. The four of them ran to the stadium.
"And here are the Neo-Knights! Just in time!" The DJ shouted as the crowd cheered.
"Now let the battle between the Jungle Rulers and the Neo-Knights begin! For the race battle it will be...Roxanne vs. Mandy! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Lets go Striker!" Roxanne shouted.
"Go Leone! Stop her now!" Leone got in front of Striker and slowed down. Striker knocked into Leone sending Leone flying for the finish line.
"Don't let her cross! Soaring Flame!" Striker flew through the air and knocked into Leone. Both of them were sent flying backwards.
"What a close one! Leone could have won but Striker knocked both of them back! And this battle is just getting started!" The DJ said, pumped.
"Striker! Clash!"
"Leone! Get in front!"
"How dumb do you think I am?" Roxanne smirked. "Flaming Tornado Destruction!" A huge tornado of fire engulfed Leone.
"Go now Doom Mane Leone! Doom Mane Flame!" The Leone beast appeared and its mane became a burning inferno. It began to suck Striker towards it. The two special moves clashed, resulting in a massive explosion. When visibility returned, both had stopped, but Leone had stopped over the finish line.
"What a surprising battle! In a clash of special moves, Leone just barely wins! That makes it 1-0 Jungle Rulers! Next up for the crash battle will be...Eli vs. Cameron! Everybody ready? Set? And 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Kerbecs and Lacerta sped towards each other.
"Claw Warrior Lacerta! Smash him into oblivion!" Lacerta charged, and at the last second, the bumps on its Energy Core sent it into the air and it smashed into Kerbecs.
"How'd you like that?!" Cameron smirked. Eli began laughing like crazy. Ryan groaned.
"I knew we shouldn't have let him have six bowls of Froot Loops for breakfast." He muttered. Seamus began to get worried. Eli might be trying to invoke Cameron, or he was overconfident. And from the way Cameron was reacting, neither would end in a Neo-Knights win.
"Laugh all you want but I know theres nothing you can do to win. I'm gonna beat you in no time flat. Lacerta! Jungle Fury Claw!" Lacerta charged at Kerbecs again, but this time tilted and hit Kerbecs on a weird angle.
"Hahaha...ok. What's going on? Oh I see. Kerbecs, lets beat this chump. Triple Shredder!" Kerbecs hit Lacerta with its Attack Gear and began taking its power away.
"Break away Lacerta! Lets end this now! Lacerta! Ultimate Jungle Warrior Smash!"
"Whatever. Kerbecs! Hades Rage!" The two special moves clashed just as in last battle. When the two were sent flying, they both landed in the stadium.
"Wow! Lacerta is still rolling strong while Kerbecs is..."

"...where is Kerbecs?" The DJ looked around frantically.
"Go now Kerbecs!" Eli shouted, as Kerbecs came falling down from the sky. "Special move! Triple Shredder Dive bomb!" A huge explosion ensued. When the dust cleared, Kerbecs was still rolling barely, and Lacerta was at Cameron's feet.
"Wow! Eli pulls off an amazing win! And the Neo-Knights get to pick the next battle!" Ryan and Seamus looked at each other. Ryan nodded. Seamus smiled and walked towards the stadium.
"Crash battle!" Seamus said to the DJ.
"It's decided! A crash battle pitting Seamus against Catharine!"
"Don't think I'll go easy on you!" Catharine said, attaching a Shadow Spine Serpent to her launcher.
"Why would I ever think that?" Seamus attached Rampage Beast Gil to his launcher.
"Everybody ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" The DJ said and the two wheelerz launched.
"Gil! Charge!" Gil charged at Serpent but Serpent moved out of the way.
"How did it dodge so fast?!"
"That's for me to know and you to find out." Catharine said, smiling.
"Go again Gil!" Seamus paid attention when Gil should have hit Serpent.
"Of course! The treads on Serpents Energy Core! But how do I stop it?" Seamus thought for a second then,
"Gil! Go now!" When Gil was about to hit Serpent, it jumped onto Serpent, rolling over it and turning. Catharine was confused for a second and that was enough for Seamus.
"Gil! Ocean Rampage!" Serpent was knocked through the air, and its own momentum sent it flying towards the exit of the stadium.
"Serpent! Hang on!" Serpent landed and just barely stayed in.
"Looks like you're gonna be a better opponent than I thought! Serpent! Shadow Nightmare!" The Serpent beast appeared and headed for Gil.
"Gil! Beast Whirlpool!" Serpent was sucked in and thrown out.
"Seamus is the winner and the Neo-Knights go to the finals which take place tomorrow! Good luck to them! The next semi-final battle will begin soon! It will be the Ravagers vs. the Flaming Phantoms!"

"Lets see who will battle it out in the first match! It will be, the sub, William of the Ravagers vs. Kennedy of the Flaming Phantoms. Lets begin now! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Cetus! Dagger Tail!" William shouted. Seamus expected to see Kennedy get nervous but when he looked over, Kennedy was completely calm. He dodged the attack easily. William growled.
"Whats wrong? Upset I'm not injured? My my you are a violent one." Seamus couldn't help but smile. He saw that what Kennedy had was not over confidence. It was determination. And assurance. He knew he was good enough to beat William. It looked like William knew it too.
"Now its our turn, if you will. Wild Fire Bull! Enveloping Inferno!" Bull became coated in searing flames, with embers spurting out everywhere.
"Race Cetus! He can't hit you if he can't catch you!"
"Oh but I will." Kennedy laughed. When Bull struck, it was as if a room full of dynamite had just blew up. Even Kennedy was knocked back.
"Wowowowow! What an attack!" The DJ shouted, getting up. "But what happened on the arena?!" William took a deep breath. Then, Cetus flew out of the dust and landed next to him. Bull crossed the finish line.
"What a match! Not only did Kennedy not get destroyed, he won! The Ravagers all look as if they've seen a ghost! But life goes on, its CJ for the Ravagers and for the Flaming Phantoms, Jackie! Lets go! 3, 2, 1, and, Let it Rip!"
"Leone! Claw Destruction!" CJ looked mad. Or was he scared? Seamus thought it was a safe bet that CJ had never experienced a loss before. Nor had anyone on his team. This was a wake up call. The attack hit Zurafa.
"Its over." CJ muttered. Then a laugh, a terrible, insane laugh.
"Hardly my spunky friend. Hardly." The dust cleared, revealing a cackling Jackie.
"Now, my Zurafa, lets win win win! Hit him!" Without the use of a special move, Leone was almost knocked out of the stadium.
"My my! We are weak aren't we? Well, lets show him real power! Zurafa! Nightmare Destruction!" A twisted, dark Zurafa beast appeared, heading straight for CJ. The spark disappeared from his eyes, almost as if there was no soul inhabiting it.
"Devour him Zurafa!"
"Hey! This is against the rules! Stop this now!" The DJ yelled.
"No." Jackie laughed. The DJ pulled out a beywheel and launched it at Zurafa. As if there was an invisible force field, the wheel bounced right off, almost hitting the DJ square in the face.
"Now where were we? Ah yes. Zurafa!"
"CJ! Snap out of it!" Seamus stood up.
"Face it kid, he's gone. No one can escape the wrath of Zurafa!"
"Oh really." A tired, strained, voice said. "No one you say? Well I beg to differ!" The life returned to CJ's eyes.
"Leone! Judgment Slash!" Leone's beast appeared and began to slash at Zurafa. Leone was pushing it towards the edge.
"Zurafa! Use full power!"
"No matter what! We will prevail!" CJ cried, as a green aura formed around him. Then, it was over. Zurafa was shot through the air and cracks began to form. Shadow spilled out of those cracks. When Zurafa fell, Jackie lost consciousness. Doctors carried him off.
"In a crazy battle, CJ has pulled off an amazing victory! The final match will begin shortly!"

"Here it is! The final battle! The Ravager have chosen a crash battle." The DJ shouted. The crowd erupted into cheer.
"So who will it be? For the Ravagers, their ace, Nate! And for the Flaming Phantoms, Gilligan!"
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Nate launched his wheel, a Claw Molten Fireblaze, as Gilligan launched his Shadow Wing Aries.
"Aries!" A winged ram appeared and charged towards Fireblaze.
"Fireblaze!" Fireblaze appeared and countered.
"Go now!" Nate shouted, as Fireblaze used the bumps on its Energy Core to fly into the air.
"Now! Fireblaze Molten Divebomb!" Fireblaze began to spin as it dove down towards Aries. It burst into flames as it was about to strike.
"Aries! Shadow Horn Shield!" A shadowy blob covered Aries and Fireblaze bounced right off.
"And now! Ultimate Ramming Strike!" Aries charged at full speed.
"Fly! Fireblaze!" Gilligan smirked. Aries flew up to meet Fireblaze and knocked into it.
"Its over!" Gilligan shouted.
"Is it?" Nate questioned. Fireblaze was flying through the air!
"H-how is that possible?" Gilligan stammered.
"Back when Beywheelz were new, a few wheelz were accidentally made to be extremely powerful. This Fireblaze is one of them. We have the ultimate bond!" He looked at the Neo-Knights. "And after I win here, we will obliterate you!" Eli stuck his tongue out at him. Ryan began to laugh.
"Whats so funny!?" Nate turned.
"You think you're amazing don't you?" Ryan went to the vending machine. Nate became furious.
"You are no longer my opponent!" He turned to Gilligan. "You are a mere obstacle in my way!!!" Seamus saw the rest of the Ravagers begin to pack up. They knew it was over.
"Fireblaze! Supreme Phoenix Inferno!" A huge fire reminiscent of Kennedy's special move, only ten times stronger, engulfed Aries. When the fire was gone, a charred Aries lay in the middle of the arena and Fireblaze was still going strong. Nate called it back.
"With that, its the Neo-knights vs. the Ravagers in the finals! Join us tomorrow for this exciting conclusion to the city championships!"

Seamus woke up early the next morning. He walked onto the balcony. The cool morning air blew his hair back. He heard someone open the door. It was Roxanne.
"Hi." Seamus said. She smiled and nodded.
"Can't sleep?" She asked.
"To excited."
"Me too. Do you think we can win?"
"You're the team leader."
"I think we can do it." Roxanne smiled.
"Me too." Seamus smiled back. He looked at Roxanne.
"It seems like just yesterday when we met." Seamus said.
"I remember. You were battling Allison."
"Yah." Seamus sighed. "Do you like this?"
"What?"
"Being away from home, battling all the time."
"Yah. I miss home sometimes. We haven't even been away for that long." Roxanne laughed.
"But it feels like forever." Seamus looked at the sunrise, he pulled out Gil.
"Thank you." Roxanne looked at Gil, then at Seamus.
"You're welcome." A light went on inside, then a yell from Eli. Roxanne and Seamus looked at each other and laughed. They walked inside to see what was wrong. Eli had sleepwalked and hit his head on door.

"Here we are in the finals of the city championships! Who will come out victorious? Who will be sent home? It all comes down to this! First, the race battle! It will be, Roxanne vs. William! Lets start now! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Striker!"
"Cetus!" The two took off.
"Striker! Volcano Rush!"
"Dagger Tail!" The two attacks hit, knocking both against the wall.
"Striker!" Striker began to speed up.
"Follow suit Cetus!" That was exactly what Roxanne had wanted.
"Now Striker! Soaring Flame!" Striker flew through the air and the attack landed.
"Take that!" Roxanne shouted.
"Not so fast." Cetus was still rolling. Weak, but still rolling nonetheless.
"Fine." Roxanne muttered. "I'll just finish you off again! Striker!"
"Hurry Cetus! Tsunami Tail!" The Cetus beast appeared and a wave formed around its tail. It swung its tail around, knocking into Striker.
"No Striker!" Striker was almost back to the beginning.
"Gallop Striker!" Striker was rolling much faster than Cetus but Cetus was closer to the finish.
"Its an all out race! They are not taking the risk of using their special moves because a miss would cost them the match!" The DJ shouted above the roar of the crowd. Striker was catching up and fast. William know he would lose at this rate. He looked over at his team, and they nodded.
"Cetus! Dagger Tail!" Roxanne knew this was a desperate attempt. All she had to do was dodge. But Cetus' attack was coming much faster than she expected. Now a desperate attempt was her best choice.
"Jump over! Soaring Flame!" The two wheelz were in the air. Just when it looked like Cetus would hit, Striker just barely cleared the attack. However, she had used a lot of energy in the attack and she might not make it.
"Will Roxanne stop spinning before she reaches the finish line?" The DJ shouted.

The whole crowd held their breathes as Striker wobbled towards the finish line. As it rolled, it got slower and slower. Just when it looked like it was about to fall over, Roxanne used every last bit of energy and Striker fell right after crossing the finish line.
"And Roxanne wins by literally half an inch!" The DJ shouted over the roar of the crowd. Roxanne breathed a sigh of relief. Seamus and Eli ran out to congratulate her.
"G-"
"Great job!" Eli said. Seamus sighed.
"Thanks. Who's going next?" Ryan stood up. "Ok...I guess you're up Ryan." Ryan walked by. Eli grabbed Ryan's arm.
"Ryan." He looked at him.
"Good luck." Ryan nodded.
"Thanks."
"Thats the longest conversation you guys ever had!" Seamus said. Roxanne and Eli laughed.
"It looks like its Ryan vs. Nate! A crash battle! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Drago!"
"Go Fireblaze." The collision resulted in a near Stadium out for Drago.
"Drago! Blades of Fury!"
"Fly Fireblaze!" Fireblaze dodged the attack and landed on Drago.
"Jump Drago!" Fireblaze would not let go. Drago's energy was going fast.
"Erg...Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" The Drago beast appeared and shot blasts of wind at Fireblaze. Fireblaze finally let go. It fell to the ground and Drago fell after it.
"Get him Drago!" The beast coiled around Fireblaze, depleting its spin.
"Hmmm. Interesting. Fireblaze! Supreme Phoenix Inferno!" Ryan knew he was in trouble.
"Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" The two special moves seemed evenly matched, but the flames soon consumed Drago's special move.
"Finish him off!" Nate shouted. When the fire died down, it revealed a burnt Dagger Blade Drago and Fireblaze was still rolling strong.
"What a battle! Nate of the Ravagers have won it! That means the last battle will be now! Who will win?" Ryan walked back.
"You did great Ryan. We'll win this." Roxanne said.
"Yah, you were awesome!" Eli said. Seamus nodded in agreement.
"I'm going now ok?" Seamus said. Eli hesitated, but nodded.
"Crash battle!" C.J. requested. The DJ nodded.
"The next battle will be a crash battle pitting Seamus against C.J. Is everyone ready? Then lets go! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Gil!"
"Leone!" The two charged but Seamus dodged at the last moment. Gil turned around and charged.
"Gil! Ocean Rampage!" Gil knocked Leone into the air.
"Leone! Blade Pounce!" Leone fell from the air and landed on Gil. Gil got scratched up.
"Run Gil!" Gil ran from Leone.
"Follow him! Blade Pounce!" Leone jumped at Gil.
"Perfect. Beast Whirlpool!" Seamus shouted. A whirlpool started up and Leone fell right into it, taking damage equal to his own attack.
"Judgement Slash!" C.J. ordered, and Leone cut through the Whirlpool.
"Now! Claw Destruction!"
"Gil! Counter it!" Gil got more and more scratched up. I need to think of something. Fast.
"Gil! Ultimate Hurricane!" A storm started up.
"Leone! Judgement Slash!" Leone couldn't break through the hurricane no matter what it did. In fact, it was losing spin.
"You think you're good but a hurricane always has an eye. Leone! Blade Pounce!" Leone jumped and began making its way to Gil. Seamus smiled.
"Now! Beast Whirlpool!"
"What!? Try and get out Leone!" However, Leone fell right into the whirlpool.
"It looks like Leone is going to lose!" The DJ said. C.J. shook his head.
"It may look like that, but Gil is losing more and more energy the more special moves it uses! Its all over!" Seamus clenched his fist. He had been so intent on finishing the battle with his special moves that he hadn't even thought about the energy each move used.
"So...you're energy is low also. That means it will come down to the wheelz themselves. No special moves. Just pure power." C.J. nodded.
"Go Leone!"
"Gil!" It was obvious they were giving it everything they had.
"Can Seamus win?" Eli asked Roxanne.
"I don't know. They both are weak but I think C.J. has taken more damage." Then, her face grew worried. "But...the attacks! Gil is scratched up! If they do an all out clash, Gil won't be able to take it!" Eli gasped.
"I forgot about that. Seamus! Gil's all scratched up!" Seamus looked over at Eli, then at Gil. He was right. No special moves, no all out attacks. He was in a bind.
"Leone! Go at him with full power!"
"Move Gil!" Gil moved, but not enough. Leone still skimmed Gil's attack gear.
"Keep it up Leone!"
"You to Gil!" C.J. smirked, but that changed when he looked at Seamus. He was smiling too.
"I see!" Roxanne said. Eli and Ryan looked at her. "The Beast attack gear has a flat shape. When the attack hits it, it doesn't catch onto anything so it doesn't do much. And the Claw energy core depletes its user's stamina more than the smooth Rampage core. So, if both of them keep it up, Seamus will probably win!"
"Come on Leone! Just a little longer!" Then, C.J.'s eyes widened with realization.
"Erg, Leone! Blade Pounce!" Seamus knew Gil couldn't just take the attack or it would be torn to shreds.
"Gil! Ocean Rampage!" The clash was huge.
"Gil!"
"Leone!" When the stadium visible again, Gil had stopped rolling.
"No...Gil!"
"Yes! Great job...Leone?" C.J. looked around for Leone. When he could see it, Leone wasn't spinning either.
"What!?" C.J. cried.
"It's a tie! That means it will be Eli vs. Jerry!"
"I wanna hava crash battle!" Eli shouted.
"A crash battle it is! Come back tomorrow for the conclusion of this awesome tournament!" The DJ said.

Eli paced back and forth in the hotel room.
"I gotta battle someone!" He said suddenly.
"I would, but Gil is to bashed up." Seamus said, looking down at the scratched up Gil.
"Roxanne?"
"She's not here. She went to get some lunch." Eli sighed. He looked at Ryan.
"Fine." Ryan muttered. Eli walked to the stadium and attached Kerbecs. Ryan went to the other side of the stadium and attached Drago.
"3!"
"2."
"1!"
"Let it Rip!"
"Go Kerbecs! Triple Shredder!"
"Blades of Fury!" Ryan countered. The two wheelz both got knocked backwards.
"Smash him Kerbecs!" Kerbecs kept hitting Drago, knocking it back.
"Drago! Dragon Force!" Kerbecs began to slow down. Eli stared helplessly as Kerbecs slowly lost it's energy.
"What are you doing!?" Ryan shouted. "If you can't get out of this, how do you expect to win tomorrow!? This is why you're the sub! You crack under pressure. Well come on! Are you really this weak?" Eli looked at Ryan, filled from head to toe in anger.
"KERBECS! CHAOS DEMOLISHER BEAM!" The Kerbecs beast appeared and shot a beam of dark red energy from each of the three heads' mouths. It hit Drago, knocking it back. Ryan smiled. Eli wasn't done though.
"Hades Rage! Triple Shredder!" The two attacks hit. Seamus looked over at the battle. Eli was unleashing every bit of his anger. Depending on how he channeled that anger would determine whether he would win or lose. Drago was losing energy too. Ryan knew he had to do something fast.
"Special move Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" Drago appeared and shot wind at Kerbecs.
"Hades Rage!" The two blasts hit each other.
"Kerbecs!" Eli shouted. His blast overtook Drago's blast and hit home. Drago was knocked out of the stadium and right afterwards, Kerbecs stopped. Ryan picked up Drago and walked away. Eli smiled and picked up Kerbecs.

"Welcome boys and girls to the epic conclusion of the city championships! The final match that will decide everything will be a crash battle will be Eli vs. Jerry! Everybody ready!? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Pegasus!"
"Kerbecs!" The initial clash sent Kerbecs reeling.
"Now Pegasus! Wind Slash!" Kerbecs kept getting knocked back.
"Erg. Run Kerbecs!" Kerbecs rushed passed Pegasus and turned around. Pegasus turned around and chased after Kerbecs.
"Now Kerbecs! Turn and jump!" Kerbecs did just that. Pegasus chased after it.
"Now! Triple Shredder!" Kerbecs fell through the air and hit Pegasus.
"Come one Pegasus!" Pegasus got behind Kerbecs and began pushing it towards the exit. Eli didn't do anything. Seamus frowned. Why wasn't Eli doing anything? Had he cracked under pressure? Or...Seamus laughed as he saw Eli's strategy. It was funny because it was Eli. Being strategic. This was a first.
"I'm going to finish this battle! Push him out Pegasus!"
"Get out of there!" Eli shouted. But Kerbecs didn't move.
"W-what!?"
"How dumb do you think I am!?" Jerry shouted. "Of course you thought you were leading me into a trap! But thats to bad isn't it! This ends now! Knock him out Pegasus!" Pegasus hit Kerbecs. Eli watched as Pegasus hit Kerbecs. One more hit and it was over. But, in order to hit Kerbecs, he would have to slow down a little then charge forward. If Kerbecs moved at the right time then...
"Now Pega-"
"Now Kerbecs!" Eli interrupted. Kerbecs moved out of the way.
"It looked like it was all over for Eli but he got out of that jam and the battle continues!" The DJ said as Eli got back to work.
"Hit him Kerbecs!"
"Counter it Pegasus!" The clash sent both of the beywheelz backward. Both were weak.
"Attack Pegasus!" This is just what Eli had wanted.
"This is over! Chaos Demolisher Beam!" An explosion occurred.
"Did I win!? Stupid dust!" Eli was craning his neck. When the dust cleared, Kerbecs was barely rolling. Eli held his breath. He saw Pegasus just barely rolling. Eli frowned.
"Hit him now Kerbecs!"
"Pegasus! You too!" The two had a minor clash. Eli looked around the stadium and saw a crack in the ground from his special move. He nodded.
"Run Kerbecs!"
"Follow him but be careful!" Jerry ordered. When Pegasus had almost caught up, and the crack was approaching, Eli crossed his fingers.
"Jump Kerbecs!" The ridges on Kerbecs' Raging wheel allowed it to jump higher than a normal wheel. Jerry had been paying so much attention looking for traps that when he saw Eli make a move, he instinctively did too. But Soaring couldn't jump as far as Raging and Pegasus fell into the crack. That was it. It was over. Pegasus stopped and Kerbecs kept rolling for about a foot or so.
"Thats it!" The DJ shouted above the roar of the crowd. "Eli takes the win and the Neo-Knights are moving on to the state championships!" Eli's teammates ran out to great him. Roxanne gave him a huge hug and Seamus tackled them. Ryan stood over the three of them as they laughed and smiled. The three of them stopped and got up as the Ravagers came up to them. Jerry went up to Eli.
"Don't beat me up." Eli squeaked. Jerry smiled.
"That was a great battle. You're really strong.
"Well you know..." Eli said, smiling.
"You were amazing too." William said to Roxanne.
"Thanks! Ditto." Roxanne said. Seamus looked at C.J. as he walked up to him. C.J. didn't say anything, but tossed him a Hurricane Energy Core. Seamus smiled. Nate walked up to Ryan.
"Ryan. I believe you have one of the special beasts. If you come with us we could help you learn to master that beast. You could become much more powerful than you are now." Ryan looked at his teammates, then at Nate.
"I can become stronger on my own thanks." Nate nodded.
"I'm not surprised at your decision. I probably would have done the same. Good luck." He put out his hand. Ryan shook it.
"The Neo-Knights will have a three day break before they go to the state championships! We wish them luck as they compete against nine of the other city championship winners!" The crowd roared their approval.
"Well guys, great job." Roxanne said. Everyone smiled.

"Its good to be home." Seamus said as the four of them stepped into their town.
"Yah. Lets eat!" Eli said. Ryan rolled his eyes.
"Lets go home and see our parents first." Roxanne said. Everyone agreed. "Lets meet at the park when we're done ok?" They all exchanged goodbyes and went home.
"I'm back!" Seamus said as he walked through the back door of his house.
"Hey Seamus! I heard you guys won." His dad said.
"Yah! We have three days before states." Seamus said hi to his mom and dad and went up to his room. He set out Rampage Beast Gil. Then he took out the Hurricane energy core and put it on Gil.
"Cool." He said to himself. After grabbing a bite to eat, he went to the park. Everyone else was already there.
"He-" Roxanne started.
"Hey Seamus!" Eli jumped in. Seamus laughed. The four of them walked over to the arenas.
"Go! Scorpio!" Seamus looked up. It was Allison. She had just sent 5 wheels flying out of the stadium. She glared at Eli. Eli stuck out his tongue.
"Hi Allison." Seamus said. She nodded. Then suddenly,
"Battle me." She was looking at Eli. He smiled.
"Okee-dokee, you're going down" Eli said in a sing-songy voice. Allison frowned.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" They said simultaneously.
"Kerbecs!"
"Scorpio!" The clash sent Kerbecs back.
"Triple Shredder!" Eli commanded. Seamus noticed how much better Allison had gotten.
"Rampage Stinger!" Allison ordered. Kerbecs was immediately knocked out of the stadium. Eli was speechless. He just stood there, staring at Kerbecs. Ryan stepped up.
"Hey! Only I can beat Eli that easily!" Ryan said, stepping up to the stadium.
"Yah! You tell her...I think..." Eli said, picking up Kerbecs. Allison laughed.
"Ok. Lets go! Let it Rip!" Allison shouted, catching Ryan off-guard. He quickly launched Drago.
"Attack Scorpio!"
"Dodge Drago!" Scorpio flew past Drago.
"Good. Scorpio! Backslash!" The Scorpio beast appeared and used its tail to attack Drago even though it was moving in the opposite direction. Ryan frowned. He muttered something under his breath. Dragon Force Seamus thought to himself. Allison must have noticed it though.
"You don't think I've been watching your matches? Don't try that trick on me! Scorpio! Relentless Poison Dagger!" Scorpio began attacking Drago over and over.
"How did she find Drago?" Ryan muttered under his breath. Drago was slowing down.
"Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!"
"Poison Beast Tail Dagger!" The two moves clashed, and both were sent flying. Scorpio easily landed in the arena but Drago was sent flying. Ryan had the same reaction as Eli. He was speechless. Seamus couldn't take anymore.
"What's with you!? Why are you so angry!? Is it really because you didn't make it onto the team?" Allison ignored him. Seamus took out Hurricane Beast Gil. Allison raised an eyebrow and re-attached Scorpio.
"3! 2! 1! Let it Rip!!!"
"Attack Gil!" Gil began smashing into Scorpio.
"Scorpio! Knock him out now!"
"Special Move! Water Vortex!" A vortex formed around Gil, knocking Scorpio back.
"Now attack!" The vortex still active, Gil picked up Scorpio and threw it into a wall.
"Again!" Seamus shouted, as Gil pinned Scorpio against the wall.
"Bad move. Relentless Poison Dagger!" Now it was Gil that was trapped. In no time at all, Gil had lost. Seamus frowned. He picked up Gil and looked at Allison. He smiled.
"I know why. I know exactly why. You can't stand it can you?" Everyone looked at Seamus. "For once in your life, once in your life, Roxanne is better than you at something. You can't stand it. It keeps coming up to you and hitting you in the face whenever you see her, a beywheel or a tournament. And now she's going to states. You're jealous. One thing. You're jealous she's better than you at one thing." Seamus sighed and walked away. Allison looked at him.
"Well so what if I am!?" She shouted after him. Seamus turned. "Thats none of your business what I'm jealous of! You think you have me all figured out don't you!?" Seamus glared at her.
"It is my business because Roxanne is my friend. I don't need to have you figured out to know you're just being self-centered and jealous." Roxanne looked at Seamus.
"Its ok Seamus." She murmured.
"No! Its not ok. And you're not just hurting Roxanne, you're mad at Eli too. You have no right to be. What's he ever done to deserve this? He won a battle. That's it. Now you're going around getting mad at him. How can you go around doing this!?" Allison looked at Seamus. Seamus looked at her. He turned around and walked away. Eli nodded at Roxanne and followed him. Roxanne nodded at Eli and looked back at Allison.
"You're hurting Seamus too." She said. Allison rolled her eyes and held up her launcher. Roxanne did the same. They didn't countdown, they just launched. They were silent as the two wheels hit each other repeatedly. Then, Roxanne made the first move.
"Striker! Volcano Rush!" Striker glowed red and charged at Scorpio, knocking it back.
"Counter it! Rampage Stinger!" The exchange of attacks went on for a while then,
"Scorpio! Backslash!" Scorpio sped passed Striker and attacked. The two had taken a lot of damage. Both knew this was it.
"Scorpio! Relentless Poison Dagger!"
"Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" Both tried to see the result. Striker was lodged in the ground, but so was Scorpio. Roxanne sighed and picked up Striker. Allison picked up Scorpio. Seamus and Eli came back. Allison began to walk away, but turned around.
"This isn't the last time you'll see me." She said, glaring at Seamus and Eli.

The next day, the Neo-Knights met up at the park again.
"I'll battle Ryan, Seamus, you battle Eli." Roxanne said. Everyone agreed.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" The four of them shouted at the same time.
"Go Gil!" Gil began attacking Kerbecs.
"Hit him back Kerbecs!" The two went back and forth.
"Gil! Water Vortex!" Gil attacked Kerbecs and sent it flying.
"Kerbecs!" Eli was getting impatient, and fast. "Chaos Demolisher Beam!" Seamus immediately saw Eli's mistake. Gil was still rolling fast, and that meant he could try and doge and use a special move to deflect what he couldn't dodge.
"Water Vortex while dodging!" Seamus ordered. The attack was nullified.
"Erg. Hades Rage!" Eli shouted. The attack caught Seamus off-guard and sent Gil into the wall.
"Attack over and over!" Kerbecs attacked relentlessly.
"Run Gil!" Gil did, with Kerbecs right behind it.
"Kerbecs! Catch up!" Seamus assessed the situation. If Kerbecs caught up and used a special move, Gil would probably be knocked out. If Kerbecs caught up but didn't use a special move, Gil would still lose lots of spin. If he used a special move and Eli used a special move, Eli's would overpower Gil if he used Water Vortex because of the momentum. So, all he had to do was,
"Gil! Wave Crusher!" A huge wave appeared as Gil turned around to confront Kerbecs. It came crashing down on Kerbecs. When the water subsided, Kerbecs was motionless on the ground and Gil was still rolling. Meanwhile, Roxanne and Ryan were still battling.
"Striker, Soaring Flame!"
"Speed up Drago!" Drago sped up and dodged the attack. "Now Blades of Fury!" Striker was knocked back. "And now use Dagger Wind Blade!"
"Striker counter it! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" The two moves clashed again and again. Finally, Drago overtook Striker and knocked it out of the stadium.
"Great job guys. Lets look around for other opponents to battle." Roxanne said, picking up Striker. Everyone nodded and split up. After an afternoon of training, the four of them went home. When Seamus got upstairs, he saw he had an e-mail from the Beywheelz World Organization.
"Whats this?" He wondered as he clicked on it. It said-
We have e-mailed you to inform you that the state championships will be a tag-team format. Two players from each team will battle a round then the other two members will battle in the next round. In the event of a 1-1 tie, the winning tag-team's from the two teams will battle.  

"Welcome Wheelerz to this years state championships! Here, the ten best teams in the state will square off to see who moves on to nationals! The first battle will be the Neo-Knights vs. The Typhoon Triumpher's! The battle will begin shortly!" Eli snorted.
"What a dorky name." He said.
"Wait...we never figured out our tag teams!" Seamus said.
"I got them, don't worry." Roxanne said. "In the first two rounds, we can change the teams up. After that we need a permanent line up. So for this battle we'll try Seamus and Ryan and Eli and me." Everyone nodded in agreement.
"The first battle will be a crash battle, Seamus and Ryan vs. Lucas and George! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Gil!"
"Drago!" The two attacked at the same time.
"Cetus!"
"Pisces!" The two countered, sending Ryan and Seamus' wheels back.
"Got a plan?" Seamus asked.
"Divide and conquer." Ryan muttered. Seamus nodded. Ryan attacked Pisces.
"Help him out Cetus!" Cetus raced towards Pisces.
"Not so fast. Wave Crusher!" The attack hit home, and knocked Cetus away. Meanwhile, Seamus ordered Gil to help Ryan. Ryan looked at Seamus and nodded.
"Drago!"
"Gil!"
"Special moves! Water Vortex and-"
"Blades of Fury!" The double move's power was to much to take. Pisces rolled to a stop.
"Now Drago! Get Cetus!"
"This isn't over yet! Cetus! Super Slam!" The Cetus beast appeared and hit Drago head on.
"Go Gil!" Seamus waited until Drago was coming down on him then, "Water Vortex!" The Vortex caught Drago and spit it out, sending it flying at a high speed at Cetus. It was sent flying out of the stadium.
"And the Neo-Knights have won round 1!" The next round will begin shortly.
"Great job!" Roxanne and Eli ran over to them.
"Thanks. Now you guys go win the next round ok?" Roxanne nodded and Eli laughed.
"Of course we're gonna win." He said. Seamus nodded as he and Ryan sat down on the bench.
"Let the next round begin! A race battle between Roxanne and Eli and Chuck and Lilly! 3, 2, 1, and Let it Rip!"

"Got a plan?" Eli asked. Roxanne shrugged."
"Lets wait and see what they do."  
"Go Gil!"
"You too Cetus!" The opponents wheels knocked into Kerbecs and Striker back.
"Now would be a good time for a strategy!" Eli said.
"Ok ok...lets try hitting them from both sides."
"Sounds good. Go Kerbecs!" Kerbecs split off from Striker and went to the other side of its opponents. "Special move! Triple Shredder!" Kerbecs knocked into Cetus, knocking it into Gil and knocking Gil into the ready Striker.
"Striker now!" Roxanne shouted as Gil came towards it. "Volcano Rush!" Gil and Cetus were getting knocked around.
"Cetus!"
"Gil!"
"Combination special move! Tempest Destruction!" The two beywheelz began to circle Kerbecs and Striker. Soon, a storm had started up, catching Kerbecs and Striker into it.
"Now what should we do!?" Eli shouted above the winds.
"Just use your stronger move and hope for the best!"
"So, its a desperate attempt?"
"No! Its not a desperate attempt...its a...oh it doesn't matter what it is! Just do it already!"
"Ok ok. Kerbecs! Special move! Chaos Demolisher Beam!"
"Striker special move! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" The two moves hit the storm, but all it did was slow it down.
"Whats the pla-wait! I got a plan!" Eli shouted. Eli filled Roxanne in. Roxanne nodded.
"Kerbecs! Use all of your energy! Chaos Demolisher Beam!!!!" The Kerbecs beast appeared and gathered up power for the longest time and when it unleashed it, the ground began to tremble.
"Striker! Soaring Flame!" Striker jumped over the combination special move Eli had weakened and raced towards the finish line.
"This isn't over yet!" Chuck shouted. "Go Cetus!"
"Oh no you don't!" Kerbecs sped over to Cetus and Gil and began attacking the already weakened wheels.
"What a battle! Striker is way in the lead and Kerbecs is taking on the barely rolling Cetus and Gil.
"One last try!" Lilly said. "Gil! Tail Smasher!"
"Cetus! Tail Wave!" Chuck ordered. The two attacks hit Kerbecs and sent it flying.
"And Kerbecs is out!" The DJ shouted, as Kerbecs flew out of the stadium. "But Striker just crossed the finish line! And with that, the Neo-Knights pull off a clean sweep and move on to the next round!"
"Great job guys!" Seamus said, greeting them as they walked back to the bench.
"Thanks!" Eli and Roxanne said.
"What should we do for the next rounds match ups?" Eli asked.
"Lets try you and Ryan and Seamus and me." Roxanne said.
"Aw man." Eli whined.
"I think it would be good for you two to try to work together for once." Roxanne said.
"Fine, you're the captain." Eli muttered. "Lets stick around and see the next battle. We've got nothing else to do." Everyone agreed.
"Lets welcome a veteran team, who came in second place at states last year, The Warriors! And their opponents, The Claw Cutters!"
"First up it will be Lewis and Ned vs....The Warriors only sent one member, Kevin! Ok...I guess its legal...3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Go Destroyer! Special move! Bone Sword!" In one hit, the opponents wheels were sent flying.
"A-and the Warriors win round 1!" The DJ said, as the crowd was silent in awe. Seamus frowned. The Warriors reminded him of The Ravagers. He would have to keep an eye on them.

"Time for round 2! A race battle that will be...Mary and Sam vs. Carter! Ready, set, Let it Rip!"
"Go Leone!"
"And Kerbecs, combined special move! Endless Claw Attack!" The two began attacking Carter's wheel without mercy.
"Herculeo!" Just like that, Leone and Kerbecs were knocked into the walls of the stadium and stopped rolling. Herculeo sped across the finish line.
"The Warriors are sweeping through the competition! They move on to the next round which will take place tomorrow! Join us tomorrow!" The crowd cheered and began to clear out. On the way back to the hotel, Roxanne noticed The Warriors practicing. She looked at the rest of the team and they nodded. The four of them walked over.
"Hey! You guys The Warriors?" Roxanne said. They nodded. "Want to battle?"
"We have nothing else to do so I guess we could." Kevin said, stepping up to the stadium. Seamus and Eli stepped up.
"3!"
"2."
"1!"
"Let it Rip!"
"Go Kerbecs!"
"Gil!" The two attacked Destroyer, but their attacks just bounced off.
"What!? If thats how you want to play, Triple Shredder!" The same thing happened. "Man, this guy is making me mad!" Eli said, jumping up and down.
"Calm down will ya? I have an idea." Seamus filled Eli in on his plan.
"Okey-dokey!" Eli said.
"Gil! Water Vortex!" Even a wheel as powerful as Destroyer couldn't help but get shot up in the air by a vortex of water. However, it wasn't doing much damage. "Go Eli!" Eli nodded.
"Kerbecs, Chaos Demolisher Beam!" The Kerbecs beast appeared and shot beams of power out of its three heads at the airborne Destroyer. The three beams merged, and knocked Destroyer back.
"You knew I would have no traction in the air so you pulled off a double attack. Too bad. Destroyer!" In a wave of power, Destroyer propelled itself towards Gil. It sent it flying and went for Kerbecs. When it was over, Gil and Kerbecs were lodged in the dirt and Destroyer was spinning.
"He's so powerful!" Eli muttered, picking up Kerbecs.
"Its our turn now!" Roxanne said, stepping up to the stadium along with Ryan.
"Too bad 'your turn' will only last about half a minute!" Carter said, attaching Herculeo to his launcher and stepping up to the stadium.
"3!"

"1."
"Let it Rip!"
"Herculeo! Send'em flying!" Herculeo sped towards Drago and Striker. Roxanne saw Ryan mutter something under his breath. Dragon Force. I'll have to cover for Ryan to make sure Drago keeps rolling. But Herculeo is so strong. It will take a while for the special move to work.
"Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" The attack sent Herculeo back a bit. "Soaring Flame!" Striker flew through the air and hit Herculeo. "And now Volcano Rush!" Roxanne looked to see what the attacks had done. Herculeo was still rolling strong. Roxanne frowned.
"Herculeo!" Herculeo sped towards Striker and knocked it back.  
"You think I'm going to loose that easily?" Roxanne shouted.
"Guess I underestimated you." Carter muttered.
"And you completely forgot about me! Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" Carter was caught off guard and the attack hit home.
"Striker! Attack him now!" Roxanne could see Dragon Force's effect on Herculeo was starting to show.
"What!? Why is my wheel slowing down!?" Carter shouted. "Defeat them now! Special move! Slash Smash!" The Herculeo beast appeared and began slashing through the air with its club. It knocked into Drago and Striker, sending them flying. Herculeo was slowing down by the second. In one last blow, it stopped rolling just as it sent Drago and Striker flying out of the stadium.
"Tie." Ryan muttered, picking up Drago.
"I guess I really did underestimate you guys. Well, I won't let it happen again." Carter said, and extended a muscular arm to Ryan and Roxanne. One at a time, they shook it. "Well, if all works out well, we will be battling in the semi-finals. And we'll win."
"Well, we'll just see about that, won't we." Roxanne said, as the two teams parted ways.

The next day, Eli woke up early. He looked around. Everyone was still asleep. Picking up Kerbecs, he quietly walked outside. I'm the weakest on the team, whether I like it or not. So I need to get better. "Go Kerbecs!" He said, launching Kerbecs at a row of bushes. "Evade them Kerbecs!" Kerbecs evaded all the bushes with no trouble.
"Good. Now go for that rock!" Kerbecs did, hitting the rock and was knocked back. "Again! Again, again, again!" Kerbecs began to glow, the glow becoming brighter and brighter with each time it hit the rock. Eli didn't know what was going on. "Kerbecs?" Kerbecs rolled back to him. He bent over and picked it up. "I don't know whats going on, but it doesn't seem to be bad. Let it Rip!" Kerbecs began to hit the rock again. Soon, it began to glow again. It got brighter and brighter, until it hurt Eli's eyes to look at it. Then, in a big surge of power, Eli was knocked back and Kerbecs landed next to him. "This is weird. Really weird."
Seamus had woken up to see blinding light shining through his window. He rushed over and looked outside. He saw Eli being knocked back, and Kerbecs falling next to him. He ran outside.
"Eli! Are you ok!?" Eli looked around and got up.
"Y-yah. I'm fine."
"What was that big-"
"Flash of light?" Eli interrupted. "I think it was coming from Kerbecs." He picked up Kerbecs.
"Weird. Well the tournament starts soon so we should get going." Seamus said, walking back to the hotel. Eli ran after him.
"Welcome to the state championships! Lets begin right away with the Neo-Knights vs. The Toxic Tossers! The first tag-team to battle will be Eli and Ryan vs. Pete and Gary! Let the Crash Battle begin in 3! 2! 1! Let it Rip!"
"Go Scorpio!"
"Lacerta!"
"Finish this quick Kerbecs!"
"Drago. Attack." The first clash resulted in a tie. Scorpio and Lacerta began weaving around each other.
"Which way are they coming from!?" Eli cried, trying to see which way they were coming from.
"Now!" The two hit Kerbecs, dealing massive damage. "Go for Drago!" They said, leaving Kerbecs and moving on to Drago.
"Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" That attack hit, but didn't keep the attack from coming. Drago was knocked back, just as with Kerbecs.
"Focus on Drago! The other kids weak." Pete said to Gary. Eli frowned. They were right. "Combination special move! Poisonous Wrath!" The attack hit Drago, knocking it out of the stadium.
"And the powerful Drago is knocked out of the stadium! That leaves Eli to fight for himself!"
"Kerbecs! Attack!" Kerbecs began to attack the two wheels vigorously. Then, it began to glow again. It got brighter and brighter, just as before.
"I don't think anyone can see what is going on!" The DJ shouted. The light just kept getting brighter. Then, it stopped, revealing a different beywheel. "...Did Kerbecs just...evolve?" The DJ said, stunned.
"Yes! Go! Savage Crusher Kerbecs special move, Tricrusher!" The Kerbecs beast appeared, but it was wearing navy blue armor on its heads and backs, and its claws had grown much bigger. It began to run at Scorpio and Lacerta. It leaped into the air and came down on them, scratching them and knocking them out of the stadiums. When everyone saw what happened, they gasped. Across both Scorpio and Lacerta were three deep gashes, with blue steam coming out.
"Wow! What a battle! Eli's wheel evolved and completely crushed its opponents! The Neo-Knights win round 1! The next battle will be a race battle, Seamus and Roxanne vs. Katy and Vince! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Gil!"
"Striker!"
"Serpent!"
"Aries!" The four took off. "Lets finish this off fast! Aries Poisonous Ram!" The Aries beast appeared and rammed into Striker, knocking it into Gil.
"Gil! Wave Crusher!" Seamus immediately realized his mistake. "Roxanne! Get out of the way!" She nodded.
"Striker! Soaring Flame!" Striker jumped out of the way as the wave crashed down on Serpent and Aries.
"I'll take care of him. You go to the finish line." Vince said to Katy. She nodded.
"Serpent! Chase Striker!" Serpent sped off after Striker.
"Follow then Gil!" Seamus shouted.
"Nu-uh-uh. You gotta deal with me first." Vince said. Seamus rolled his eyes.
"Water Vortex, Gil!"
"Block it Aries!" Aries blocked the attack with its Skull Attack Gear.
"What?" Seamus frowned. Wave Crusher only worked on enemies in the front and Water Vortex wouldn't work. "I gotta think of something. Ok Gil. Brute Hurricane!" A huge hurricane erupted out of Gil. Aries was immediately sucked in. Then, two eyes appeared from inside the hurricane, and the Gil beast came up from the eye. It then flew back in and knocked Aries out of the hurricane and out of the stadium.
"And Aries is outta here!" The DJ said as Vince gaped. Meanwhile, Roxanne and Katy were battling it out.
"Striker! Volcano Rush!"
"Serpent! Toxic Tail!" The two moves nullified each other.
"Flaming Tornado Destruction!" Serpent was knocked back.
"Finish it Serpent! Venom Crunch!" Roxanne knew this was Katy's most powerful attack.
"Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" The two special moves clashed. Serpent began to overtake Striker.
"Oh no! Keep trying Striker!"
"Wave Crusher!" A huge wave came down on Serpent, giving Striker time to overtake Serpent's special move and send it flying into the wall. Striker crossed the finish line and Gil followed soon after.
"The Neo-Knights win round 2! They now advance to the semi-finals!"
"Yes! Great job!" Seamus said, high fiving Roxanne. "We're in the semi-finals!"
"Yah. Great job guys." Roxanne said as Eli and Ryan walked over to them.
"The Warriors have also won which means they will face the Neo-Knights in the semi-finals!"
"The Warriors..." Ryan muttered.
"We're gonna beat them!" Eli said, jumping around.
"Lets hope so..." Seamus said.

"If we want to win, we have to train." Roxanne said.
"Well no..." Eli said sarcastically. "We've already done that anyway."
"No I mean physical training. Eli run a lap around the hotel. Seamus, lift these rocks 20 times. Ryan, 30 pushups."
"A whole lap, around the whole hotel!?"
"These rocks are size of a basketball!"
"Whatever." Ryan started doing his pushups.
"And what are you going to do?" Eli said.
"I'm going to run up the staircase 10 times."
"Fair enough." Eli started running. By the time they had done all of the different training exercises, they were all to tired to talk.
"Now, everyone grab one of these." Roxanne said, picking up a strange looking launcher. "Launch 20 times." Everyone picked one up and casually pulled the ripcord.
"I-its not moving." Eli said, tugging the ripcord.
"It will, you just gotta pull hard enough."
"Is this even possible?" Seamus said, pulling as hard as he could. Finally, the ripcord gave way, but the launch was weak. Soon, everyone was able to weakly pull the ripcord. As they kept pulling and pulling, everyone was able to launch normally.
"Ok guys, thats enough." Roxanne said.

"Here we are! The semi-finals! Neo-Knights vs. Warriors!" The DJ shouted as the crowd cheered. "The first battle, a crash battle between Eli and Ryan against Kevin and Carter! Lets start now! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" When Eli and Ryan launched, Eli gasped, the ripcord flew out of the launcher, and Kerbecs was a blur.
"Wow! That was so powerful!"
"What do you expect? All that training with the tough launchers will make launching with these a breeze." Eli rolled its eyes.
"Show off. Anyway, Kerbecs! Attack!" Kerbecs rushed at Herculeo. Herculeo was knocked back.
"Hmm you've gotten better. No matter, Herculeo! Slash Smash!" Kerbecs hit the wall.
"Drago! Attack!" Then, he muttered something.
"Don't think I didn't see that! Go Destroyer! Bone Sword!"
"Block it Kerbecs! Hades Shield!" The Kerbecs beast appeared and created a shield of dark red energy, blocking Destroyers attack. "Yes!"
"Don't get to excited. Destroyer!"
"And Herculeo!"
"Combination special move! Combat Crusher!"
"Kerbecs! Tricursher!"
"Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" The moves clashed, sending up a cloud of dust. When it cleared, Herculeo and Destroyer were still rolling.
"Herculeo and Destroyer are safe! But what about Drago and Kerbecs?" Everyone looked around. "They're both still rolling!" The DJ shouted as Kerbecs and Drago were still rolling weakly.
"Oh well, one more time! Combination special move! Co-" Herculeo stopped.
"It looks like Dragon Force has taken its toll on Herculeo! That means it is Drago and Kerbecs vs. Destroyer!"
"I never used this move so consider yourself lucky. Destroyer! Force Rush!" Suddenly, Destroyer began to move back and forth, creating illusions. They began to spin around Kerbecs and Drago.
"Dragon Force!" Ryan shouted. It didn't work. "Its moving to fast."
"Ryan! We need to make a combodoohickey! Its our only chance!" Eli said.
"We can't just think of one on the spot." Ryan said, annoyed.
"Sure we can. Just improvise. Combothing! Hades Storm!" A huge storm erupted. The dark red energy of Kerbecs merged with the light blue energy of Drago. The two moves clashed. When the moves died down, it revealed Kerbecs had been knocked out of the stadium and Drago and Destroyer were still rolling, but barely.
"Lets finish this now! Destroyer, Bone Sword!"
"Drago! Blades of Fury!" Destroyer's special move was clearly overtaking Drago's. In one last surge of power, Drago was sent  out of the stadium.
"And in a heated battle, The Warriors take round 1! Next round will be a race battle pitting Roxanne and Seamus against Abbott and Manny! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Go Gil!" Gil immediately attacked both wheels.
"Fight back Ares!"
"You too Kronos!"
"Kronos? Ares? I've never even heard of those!" Seamus said.
"Help him out Striker! Soaring Flame!" Striker flew to where Gil was smashing into Ares and Kronos.
"Kronos attack!" Kronos knocked into Striker.
"Its so powerful." Roxanne muttered. "Fine then. Seamus." Seamus nodded.
"Combination special move! Water and Fire Fusion Surge!" A huge wave of power that contained the dark blue energy of Gil and the scarlet energy of Striker hit Ares and Kronos, knocking them into the air.
"Now! Water Vortex!"
"And Flaming Tornado Destruction!" The two moves hit the airborne wheels, smashing them into the ground.
"Yes!" Roxanne and Seamus cheered.
"You think we'll lose that easily? Ares!"
"Kronos!" Both wheels were still rolling.
"Now, Ares! Rampage Shield Crusher!" The Ares beast appeared and smashed its shield into the ground, sending cracks through the ground and knocking into both Gil and Striker.
"We may have taken lots of damage from that attack, but it sent us closer to the finish line. We can do this! Gil! Run for the finish line!"
"You too Striker!"
"Not so fast, Kronos! Shadow Scythe!" The Kronos beast hurled its spear at Striker, dragging it backwards.
"Gil!"
"No Seamus. Go for the finish line, I can take him." Seamus shrugged.
"Ok then. Gil, keep going!"
"You're going down little girl." Abbott said.
"I'm more than a match for you. Striker! Volcano Rush!" Striker clashed with Ares.
"You forgot about me. Kronos! Attack!" Kronos and Ares pinned Striker against the wall.
"Striker! Get out of there! Soaring Flame!" Striker flew towards the finish line.
"We're almost there!" Seamus shouted.
"Kronos! Run!"
"Ares! Rampage Shield Crusher!" The attack sent Kronos towards the finish line.
"Kronos is flying for the finish line! It looks like its all over!"
"Gil! Brute Hurricane!" It looked as if Kronos would clear the hurricane. "More! Stronger!" Seamus shouted. Gil responded, catching Kronos and sending it flying backwards. Gil and Striker crossed the finish line.
"Its all tied up! The next round will begin shortly!" The DJ shouted as Seamus and Roxanne walked back to the bench.

"So, are we going again?" Seamus asked. Ryan shook his head no.
"Why not? We won didn't we?"
"Look at Gil. And Striker." Seamus and Roxanne looked at their beywheelz. They were scratched up. "And besides, we got rest. You guys didn't."
"Fine." Roxanne said, after hesitating.
"Cool! We get to go again! Hey bub, we wanna have a crash battle!" Eli said, running out to the stadium. Ryan followed.
"The Warriors have sent out Kevin and Carter! The Neo-Knights have sent out...Eli and Ryan? Yes! Eli and Ryan will be battling in the final round! So lets start! A crash battle in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Lets start right away Ryan!" Eli said. Ryan nodded.
"Go now! Hades Storm!" The storm started up, damaging Herculeo and Destroyer.
"We're going to finish this fast! Herculeo! Slash Smash!" Herculeo attacked Drago.
"Dragon Force." Ryan said.
"Ok lets go lets go Kerbecs Tricrusher!" Eli shouted. Kerbecs obeyed, hitting Destroyer.
"Destroyer! Bone Sword!" Special moves were clashing everywhere.
"Drago! Hit Herculeo with a Dagger Wind Blade!"
"Help him out Kerbecs, Tricrusher!" The two moves hit Herculeo and it began to slow down.
"Now, go get Destroyer! Combination special move! Hades Storm!" Eli shouted as Kerbecs and Drago left the slowing Herculeo. The move hit Destroyer, knocking it high into the air. It landed outside of the stadium.
"Yes! Now that he's out of the way, attack Herculeo Kerbecs!" Kerbecs clashed with Herculeo.
"Perfect! Herculeo, Super Swap!" The Herculeo beast appeared and threw its club at Drago. Suddenly, Drago slowed down a lot.
"Super Swap gives you the same damage I had and gives me half the energy you originally had. Now Herculeo! Attack Drago!"
"Hades Shield!" Eli shouted, as Kerbecs ran to intercept Herculeo.
"Ok Drago! Do some damage! Dagger Wind Blade!" Ryan shouted. When he used it, Drago stopped from the lack of energy. The attack struck Herculeo, slowing it down a lot.
"Its now Eli vs. Carter. Kerbecs vs. Herculeo! Lets see how this turns out!"
"Kerbecs attack!"
"Counter Herculeo!" The two wheels clashed, knocking them both back.
"Kerbecs, Tricrusher!"
"Slash Smash!" The two desperate attacks hit home. When everyone could see, Kerbecs was still rolling while Herculeo was lodged in the dirt.
"Eli wins it! That means the Neo-Knights advance to the finals!" Eli ran around like a maniac while his teammates came out to congratulate him.

"So who are we facing in the finals?" Eli asked. Roxanne looked up at the screen.
"It says the team name is...The Smashers. Pretty unoriginal if you asked me."
"Well, we're going first?" Ryan asked, already knowing the answer. Roxanne nodded.
"Oh boy! Here we go again!" Eli jumped up excitedly.
"The first match will be a crash battle with Eli and Ryan vs. Allison and Nina!"
"Allison!?" Roxanne looked around. Sure enough, Allison was standing at the stadium, with her launcher ready.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Kerbecs!"
"Drago. Combination special move Hades Storm!"
"And the Neo-Knights open up with their special move! How will the Smashers counter it?"
"Scorpio! Relentless Poison Dagger!" The Scorpio beast appeared and began stabbing the storm. It broke through, and went for Drago and Kerbecs.
"Dragon Force." Ryan said as Scorpio knocked Drago back.
"Now Fireblaze! Attack Kerbecs!" Nina shouted.
"Hades Shield!" Eli shouted as Kerbecs blocked the attack. "Now Tricrusher!" Kerbecs rebounded and charged at Fireblaze, knocking it into Scorpio.
"Erg come one! Fireblaze, Flaming Talon!"
"Hades Shield again!" The special move tore through Kerbecs' shield and did a little damage to Kerbecs.
"Kerbecs! Jump on top of Fireblaze!" Kerbecs jumped on Fireblaze and then jumped onto Scorpio and back again and again.
"Get off will ya? No, well then I'll get you off myself! Scorpio Ramp-"
"Too late! Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" Drago attacked Scorpio as Kerbecs dodged the attack. Scorpio was slowing down.
"Come on Scorpio! Poison Beast Tail Dagger!" Scorpio attacked Kerbecs.
"Lets finish this off! Hades Storm!" Eli shouted. The storm picked up Scorpio and Fireblaze and tossed them out of the stadium.
"The Neo-Knights have won round 1! The next round will be a race battle between Roxanne and Seamus and Ben and Val! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Lacerta!"
"Cetus!"
"Gil!"
"Striker!" The four sped down the track and met in a head on clash. All of them were knocked into the walls.
"Gil! Lets start this off fast! Brute Hurricane!"
"Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!"
"Jungle Fury Lacerta!"
"Tsunami Crash!" The four special moves met, with the same result.
"Fine. Lets blow them away! Roxanne, ready?" Roxanne nodded. "Ok then. Water and Fire Fusion Surge!" The attack knocked Cetus and Lacerta out of the stadium.
"A-a-and the Neo-Knights win the state championships! They will move on to the nationals!" The crowd was silent for a bit, then cheered. Roxanne and Seamus gaped.
"That was way to easy." Seamus said. Roxanne glared at Allison.
"Whats this all about!?" Roxanne shouted. Allison turned around.
"We lost. Problem?"
"Yes problem! How did you get to the finals playing like this?"
"We got lucky I guess." Allison said, walking away. Roxanne was fuming.
"Hey it doesn't matter. We're going to nationals." Seamus said. Roxanne nodded.
"But still...oh you're right. I don't know why I'm so upset." Roxanne smiled.
"The nationals will take place in Minnesota in a week! 50 teams will participate, and the first match will be a 25 person race battle with the top 8 teams participating in a single elimination tournament! Lets wish the Neo-Knights the best of luck in the national tournament!" The crowd roared their approval.
"Sounds like an interesting format." Roxanne said.
"I don't care how interesting it is! We're gonna win!" Eli said, jumping around.
"Yah. I think we will." Seamus said, smiling.

"So let me get this straight, we go home for two days, then get shipped off to Minnesota and stay in a hotel for four days, then we get to battle?"
"Eli, we're not getting "shipped off" we're flying first class. And that hotel is 5-star." Seamus said. The bus went over a bump.
"Woo-hoo!" Eli said, jumping up and trying to knock his head on the ceiling of the bus.
"What're you trying to do? Get a concussion?" Ryan muttered. Eli started to laugh. Ryan rolled his eyes.
"Hey look! A cow! Moo! Moo!" Eli stuck his head out the window and started yelling at the cows.
"Remind me to never to take long trips in an enclosed space with Eli after he's had three king size snickers bars again." Ryan said.
"Just a normal day with the Neo-Knights." Roxanne laughed.

"We're back! Ok lets go home and drop our stuff off and meet at the park like last time." Everyone nodded and went home.
"I'm home!" Seamus said as he walked into his house.
"Hey Seamus! I heard you're going to Minnesota! Will you be ok on your own up there?" His mom said, rushing into the room.
"I'll be fine mom." Seamus said.
"You were awesome!" Seamus' dad said.
"Thanks! I'm gonna drop my stuff off and meet with my team ok?"
"Sure, but don't be gone to long."
"Ok, bye!" Seamus said, running upstairs and dumping his stuff in his room.

"Ok guys, what we need to decide is this. Who will battle in the 25 person race battle and what we'll do after that. Since its a race battle, I don't think Eli should do it. We need someone with a special move that can attack lots of enemies at once. That means I'm out. So it's between Seamus and Ryan. Now we just need to fig-"
"Seamus can go." Ryan said.
"A...are you sure?" Seamus asked. Ryan shrugged.
"Sure, what the heck." Ryan muttered.
"Cool, thanks!"
"Well then for the next round, considering we make it, it should be something like this. Eli will go first, then Ryan, then, if we need to, me. We need to train. Seamus, you need to work on maneuvering, because none of us have ever experienced a battle with that great a number of wheelers. The rest of us should just do a normal workout. Ok guys, lets go." The four of them went on with their training. When the sun began to set, they met up again.
"Ok guys, lets meet here tomorrow at 11:00 a.m." Roxanne said. Everyone nodded and went home. When Seamus got home, he looked up "Beywheelz national championships 2000" on the computer. He found a list of the teams participating. It showed all their wheels. For half an hour, he looked at every single state champion's combo and thought of different ways to defeat it. By the time he was done, he was almost asleep.
"Ok, I'm finally done." Seamus yawned and got into his bed.

The next day, Seamus met the rest of the team and filled them in on what they should expect.
"Ok. Now that we know what to expect, lets see if there's anyone to battle here." Roxanne said.
"I heard there's a small tournament going on in the arena." Eli said.
"Well lets see if we can still sign up." Seamus said, as they all ran over to the arena. They signed up and went inside.
"In honor of the Neo-Knights going to the national championships, we will be having this tournament use the format of nationals!"
"This is almost to perfect!" Eli said, an evil grin appearing on his face.
"Just walk into the tournament like that and we won't even have to battle." Ryan muttered.
"The first battle will be the 25 person race battle! Will all block A participants step up to the track, and lets begin!"
"Wait, I just realized, we have to battle each other!" Eli said.
"Hello. They don't do team tournaments here." Ryan said. Seamus and Eli stepped up.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" The DJ shouted as all 25 participants launched.
"Lets start this off with a bang! Kerbecs! Tricrusher!" The attack knocked three wheels out of the track.
"Gil! Brute Hurricane!" Gil's attack picked up five wheels and sent them flying at four more.
"Just like that, twelve competitors are out! The state champs have made their entrance!" The crowd was on their feet.
"Ok Gil, lets go!" Gil knocked two more beywheelz out of the way as it sped towards the finish line.
"Don't let him win! Kerbecs!" The two were tearing up the track, sending wheels flying all over the place. The two crossed the finish line, with Gil just beating out Kerbecs.
"Only Gil and Kerbecs were still rolling! So the six wheels that stopped closest to the finish line will move on to the next round! And here they are on the screen! Now for the block B competitors!" Roxanne and Ryan stepped up. "3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Striker, Flaming Tornado Destruction!"
"Dragon Force!" Like dominoes, wheels simply, stopped and fell down or were thrown around and flung out of the track. Striker then Drago crossed the finish line.
"The Neo-Knights never fail to amaze us! The same thing has happened in both blocks! Now let part 2, the single elimination, begin!" The Neo-Knights swept through their competition, and soon it was time for the semi-finals.
"Eli vs. Seamus! Let the crash battle begin! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"

"Ok Eli, you're going down!" Seamus shouted. Eli saw how serious he was, and nodded.
"If you wanna be grouchy, then so will I. You don't stand a chance you hear me! Kerbecs and I will crush you! How was that?" Seamus couldn't help but smile. Then, he focused back on the battle.
"Attack now Gil!" Gil smashed into Kerbecs, sending it back.
"Oh boo hoo. Kerbecs! Tricrusher!" Kerbecs attacked Gil, this time knocking it into the wall.
"Come on, come on. I can't just hit him with force alone. As much as I hate to admit it that won't be enough against Kerbecs II...ok then. Lets go Gil! Wave Crusher!" The giant wave appeared, and Eli stood ready to counter.
"Hades Shield!" The attack was blocked, but then,
"Gil!" Gil came out from the water and picked Kerbecs up with its Water Vortex.
"What? Trying to hide and surprise me huh? Kerbecs! Roll the opposite way of the vortex!" Kerbecs did. Seamus just shrugged.
"Fine have it your way." He stopped the attack and sent Kerbecs crashing into the ground. "Gil! Take this chance! Brute Hurricane!" Not able to take all the attacks at once, Kerbecs flew out of the stadium.
"Thats it! Kerbecs is out and Seamus and Gil win!" Seamus called back Gil.
"Great job Eli!"
"Thanks. You really surprised me there. Good luck in the finals!" Seamus nodded as the two of them sat down to watch Roxanne's and Ryan's match.
"Ok are you ready? 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Striker!"
"Drago!" The two clashed head-on. Drago won the match-up and sent Striker flying.
"Dragon Force!"
"Oh please. Striker now! Flame Wall!"
"What?" Ryan was caught off-guard. The attack only came up around Roxanne. Then suddenly, the Drago beast became visible, and couldn't take the intense flames. It uncurled, revealing a slightly damaged Striker.
"This attack won't always do damage to me, but in this case, it had to. A small price to pay though. Striker! Soaring Flame!" Striker flew through the air and hit Drago.
"Dagger Wind Blade!" Drago countered, knocking Striker back. The two went back and forth, over and over.
"Come on Drago!" Ryan suddenly became engulfed in a light blue aura. So did Drago.
"Feel the power of the legendary wheel! Drago! Smash her to oblivion!" Drago attacked head-on. Not using a special move, but much more powerful than one. "I have finally unlocked Drago's legendary potential! Resistance is futile!"
"Well thats just to bad." Roxanne muttered. "Flaming Tornado Destruction!" Roxanne's attempt was in vain, however, as Drago quickly overtook Striker. Striker was sent flying backwards and rolled to a stop at Roxanne's feet.
"Wow! What a battle! Both sides gave it their all but Ryan came out on top! That means its him and Seamus in the finals!" Roxanne and Ryan exchanged nods and Roxanne went up to the stands.
"The finals are here! Lets go! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Drago!" The light blue aura surrounded wheel and wheeler and Gil was sent flying backwards.
"Oh your not so tough." Seamus muttered.
"Drago would beg to differ! Roxanne might have been able to get out of this but you won't. Dragon Force!" Seamus knew his only chance would be to throw everything he had at Ryan before Gil was done for.
"Brute Hurricane!" The attack hit Drago, sending it flying up. "Catch it in a Water Vortex!" Drago fell into the vortex, and was spit out to the other side of the stadium. "Now Wave Crusher!" Drago was sent back even more. Seamus was getting tired and so was Gil.
"Its our turn now Drago. Dagger Wind Blade!" That was it. Gil rolled to a stop. The crowd was silent for a second, then cheered.
"Seamus gave it everything he had, but in the end, Ryan wiped the floor with him!" Seamus picked up Gil and went to meet the rest of the team.
"Well, I have to say guys, this tournament actually helped us a lot. We should go home and start packing though, and try and fit in some training ok?" Roxanne looked around at everybody. They nodded and walked to their homes.

Seamus woke up early the next day. He was to excited to sleep. He got out of bed, making sure to put Gil in his pocket, and looked through his bags to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything. After checking and double checking, he went downstairs to eat. As he poured his cereal, he recalled how easily Ryan had beaten him yesterday. They used to be evenly matched but now that Ryan had unlocked the legendary power of his bit beast, he could beat him without breaking a sweat.
"Oh well. Its better for our team so I don't see why I'm worrying about it." Seamus said to himself as he ate his bagel. After breakfast he grabbed his things and his parents drove him to the airport. When he got there, he looked around for the rest of the team. After wandering around for a bit, he found them.
"Hey guys!" He shouted. They looked up and waved. "When does the plane leave?"
"Well we're flight 7 so we should leave in about 10 minutes." Roxanne said, looking up at the screen.
"Attention everybody. Flight 7 is delayed due to a technical difficulty. The plane should leave in about an hour."
"One hour? One whole hour?" Eli whined.
"Its not that bad, and besides, I heard they have a beywheelz stadium. somewhere around here." Roxanne got up and began to look around.
"A stadium? Cool! Hey grouchy, you coming?" Eli asked, looking back at Ryan.
"Yah whatever." Ryan got up and followed the three of them.

"Cool!" Eli said, running to the stadium. "So, who's gonna battle me? Huh? Huh?"
"I will." Someone said. A girl about 16 years old stepped in front of the stadium. Two boys and another girl that looked about 14, 12, and 13, respectively, came up behind her.
"Who're you guys?" Seamus asked.
"We're Team Kahuna Crash." One of the boys said.
"Woah dude. Thats like, totally rad." Eli said, in a "surfers accent". "Listen I don't care who you are, just battle already." He muttered, pulling out Kerbecs.
"Ok, 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" The 16 year old girl shouted, launching her wheel.
"Kerbecs, smash her!" Kerbecs attacked, but bounced right off. "Huhwha? Try again Kerbecs!" The same thing happened. "Fine then. Kerbecs, Tricrusher!" Still nothing.
"Had enough?"
"No. Come on Kerbecs!" The Kerbecs beast appeared, and clawed at the girls wheel. "You're making me mad! Fine then. Kerbecs, on the defensive!"
"Trying to wait out the storm? Too bad, its not going to work. Tail Blade Pisces! Flash Flood!" In an instant, the entire stadium was swamped with water. Kerbecs began to wobble and slow down.
"Oh come on. Wheres Pisces?" Then, Eli saw the top of the wheel appear from out of the water. It began to slither towards him, like a shark stalking its prey. "How does it do that!?" Eli cried. "It doesn't matter. You can't damage what you can't hit. Hades Shield!" The shield appeared.
"No matter. Pieces! Water Blade!" The Pisces beast appeared and slashed through the shield with its tail.
"What!?" Eli shouted, surprised.
"Now lets finish this off! Pisces! Aqua Sphere Collapse!" A sphere of water appeared around Kerbecs, then it collapsed around Kerbecs, stopping it.
"What!? This is crazy!" Eli said, picking up Kerbecs.
"You guys aren't ordinary wheelers are you? You must be going to nationals." Ryan said.
"Yah. As a matter a fact, we're Florida's representatives. Im Valerie by the way. And these are my teammates. Kiki, Manny, and Daisy."
"We're Illinois' representatives, the Neo-Knights. I'm Roxanne and thats Eli, Seamus and Ryan." They shook hands.
"So we'll meet again in Minnesota, huh." Kiki said. They nodded.
"Well see you 'round." The two teams parted.
"Team Kahuna Crash. Something tells me we'll be seeing a lot of them in the tournament." Roxanne mumbled to herself.

The plane finally took off.
"I thought we'd never get out of that place!" Eli sighed as he lay back in his seat.
"That's my leg." Ryan muttered from the back. Eli laughed and moved the seat back up. Seamus looked out the window.
"Hey lookit this! There's a tv on the back of the seat!" Eli said excitedly as he flipped it on. "Hey! Its us!" Roxanne peeked over the seat to look.
"Hey thats cool!"
"Oh yah! Go Eli, go Eli! You're awesome!" Eli said, watching as he won a match. Seamus rolled his eyes and smiled. By the time Eli had gotten tired of watching tv, it was night. Everyone had fallen asleep except for Seamus. He pulled Gil out of his pocket and clenched it in his hand.
"We were able to win states, I know. But if the teams in nationals are anything like Team Kahuna Crash, I don't know if we can do it." Seamus closed his eyes and was soon asleep.
"Hey Seamus, wake up." Seamus opened his eyes and looked around. Roxanne was leaning over the seat.
"Oh, hi."
"Hi. We're almost there."
"Ok." Seamus rubbed his eyes then looked over at Eli. Somehow, he had been able to sleep with his body hanging over the armrest of his seat and into the aisle.
"Hey Eli. Wake up will you?" Eli slowly woke up. "How the heck do you sleep like that?" Eli got up and looked around.
"Oh! Huh, I dunno." Eli laughed.
"Will everybody please fasten their seat belts. We will be landing in Minneapolis shortly." Soon, they had landed.
"Well here we are! Lets eat!" Eli said, rubbing his hands together and licking his lips.
"How about we get to the hotel first." Roxanne said, starting to walk out of the airport. They got to the hotel safely, even though Eli had almost caused a major accident when he thought he had seen a quarter in the middle of the street. They went up to their rooms and dumped their stuff off.
"Now can we eat?" Eli whined. Everybody rolled their eyes.
"Fine, lets go." The four of them went down to the cafeteria.
"Mm dish fud ish gwayt!" Eli said happily, with food coming out of his mouth.
"Say it don't spray it." Seamus covered his face with his arms.
"Showee. Hay! Awnt dosh guysh da Kauhuna bubsh?" Eli pointed. Everybody looked to where he was pointing.
"Yah. Thats them alright." Ryan said, eating some chips. The team members noticed them and walked over.
"Hey guys! We meet again! So I guess we're in the same hotel. Well, I think every team participating in nationals is. Anyway, nice to see you guys again." Manny said. They nodded. "So, what will you guys be doing for the days before the tournament?"
"Shite sheeing!" Eli shouted excitedly.
"And training." Seamus added.
"Cool. Well see you guys around!"
"Yah, bye."
"They always seem to turn up don't they." Roxanne said, watching them walk away. When they finished eating, they returned to their hotel room and unpacked.
"So when do we get to go sight seeing?" Eli started bugging Roxanne.
"I don't know. Maybe tomorrow."
"Yahoo!" Eli belly-flopped onto the bed.
"This is gonna be a long three days." Ryan muttered. Everyone else laughed.

The next day, the Neo-Knights went to the local arena. Free battles were taking place.
"Cool! Lets get practicing!" Eli said, running right over to a track.
"Ok." They all went to different stadiums.
"Lets go everybody! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Eli shouted. Soon, there were only a few wheels left. "Now, Tricrusher!" He ordered. Kerbecs knocked all but one wheel off the track. "Now who might that be. Oh no." Eli groaned. It was Kiki. "What're you doing? Spying?" Eli said, glaring.
"Practicing. Go Cetus! Slip Geyser!" The Cetus beast appeared and launched a geyser of water into the air through its blowhole. It came down on Kerbecs, making it slip all over the place.
"What the-?"
"I'm not done! Attack Cetus!" Cetus' Slash core helped it grip the ground as it sped towards Kerbecs.
"Hades Shield!" Eli shouted. Kiki's attack was deflected.
"That's not gonna stop me! Attack again Cetus!"
"Guard again!"
"Attack again!"
"Guard again!"
"Attack again!"
"Forget this. Tricrusher!" The attack knocked the unready Cetus backwards. "Now! Go for the finish line!" Kerbecs sped towards the finish line. Then suddenly, a blur rushed past Kerbecs and crossed the finish line. "S-so fast!" Eli stuttered, shocked.
"I did it!" Kiki cheered, grabbing Cetus.
"What? But how did I lose?" Eli muttered, grabbing Cetus.
"I'm just to fast for you." Kiki sang. Eli stuck his tongue out. He looked over to see how the rest of the team was doing. Seamus was locked in combat with Daisy, Ryan was battling Manny, and Roxanne was struggling with Valerie.
"Gil! Water Vortex!"
"Block it now Gil!" Eli laughed.
"I think Gil's gonna win." He said to himself.
"Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!"
"Scorpio! Water Jab!"
"Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!"
"Counter it Pisces! Aqua Sphere Collapse!" Then, all at once, Gil, Drago, and Striker were shot out of the stadium and landed at Eli's feet. When the three of them walked over, Eli began clapping.
"What? I bet you lost too." Ryan said under his breath as he picked up Drago.
"So what if I did? You're better than me." Eli said, smiling.
"You just complimented me." Ryan began to walk away.
"...Hey!" Eli ran after him. All of a sudden, there was an explosion. Seamus and Roxanne ran after Ryan and Eli.
"Are you guys ok!?"
"I am. I don't know about Oscar the Grouch."
"I'm fine." Ryan came out of the smoke.
"What was that?" Roxanne asked, looking around.
"Rex, return." Someone ordered. A beywheel flew out of the dust and into a tree.
"Rex? I've never seen a Rex wheel before." Seamus said, heading towards the tree. "Why'd you do that!? You could have hurt someone!"
"There was a bit of dirt on my wheel that was really bugging me." The voice said. Seamus snorted.
"This is a joke right?"
"What, you want a dirty beywheel?" The voice mocked.
"Oh quit hiding in the tree will you?"
"Fine." A figure leapt from the tree and landed in front of Seamus.
"Who're you?"
"I am the Montana team."
"You mean you're on the Montana team." Seamus corrected.
"No, I am the Montana team."
"Fine then. Battle me." Seamus said, pulling Gil out.
"Ok whatever." The figure pulled out Rex.
"Doom Fortune Rex, huh. Ok." Seamus walked over to a stadium. "Crash battle?"
"Crash battle. 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip! Go Rex!" The collision sent Gil flying.
"Come on Gil! Brute Hurricane!" The attack hit, but did nothing. "What the heck!?"
"Our turn! Smash him away Rex!" No special move. Just a normal hit. Gil was knocked out of the stadium.
"No way..." Seamus got on his knees and picked up Gil. When he looked back, the figure was gone.
"Man are we outclassed." Eli said quietly. Roxanne frowned.
"Come on guys." She said. They walked for a while.
"Where are we going? We just passed the hotel." Eli said, looking back at the hotel.
"I know. Keep walking." Roxanne said. Finally, they reached a huge building. When they stepped inside, Eli fainted. It was a whole building dedicated to beywheelz. Once everyone was done marveling, they looked to see if Eli was ok.
"He's not faking is he." Ryan muttered, lightly kicking Eli.
"Hello? Eli...?" Seamus snapped his fingers in front of Eli's face.
"Huhwuh? Oh hi!" Eli jumped up. Re-realizing where he was, he started running all over the place, checking things out.
"How'd we get in this place?" Seamus asked.
"My older cousin owns the facility. So we get to train here and we get to upgrade our wheels."
"Wow! Thats awesome!" Seamus said. Roxanne grabbed Eli as he ran by and dragged him towards some stairs.
"Up here guys." She said. Ryan and Seamus walked over to the stairs. When they got to the top, they couldn't believe their eyes.
"What is this? A block pit filled with beywheel parts?" Seamus gasped.
"Pretty much. Or you could also call it my cousins office." Roxanne said as Eli cannon balled into the pit.
"This is my kind of office!" Eli said, popping his head up. He swam to the other side of the office where the desk was and climbed onto the floor. "Hello? Anyone home?"
"In here!" A voice said. Eli looked around. He finally found a hidden doorknob and opened the door. "Oh! You must be Roxanne's team! I'll be with you in a sec." Eli nodded and jumped into the pit. Soon, a tall man with red hair and big glasses came out of the office. He pressed a button and a bridge came out over the pit. When he came onto the other side, he helped Eli out. "Well I am very pleased to meet you all. I'm Kenneth."
"I'm Seamus!"
"I'm the one and only, ever awesome, supe-"
"He's Eli. I'm Ryan."
"And of course I know you Roxanne. Well lets get down to business. Come with me." Kenneth led them downstairs and into a strange room with tons of machines. "Now, Ryan, you stand here. Eli, there. Seamus, there. And Roxanne, there."
"I-is this safe?" Seamus said, looking around at all the wires.
"100% sure." Kenneth said, pressing some buttons. Then, a helmet came down and attached to everyone's head. Some wires wrapped around their arms and legs. Launchers appeared in front of all of them. "Grab them. Now launch in 3, 2, and 1. Let it Rip!" The four of them launched. "Ok. Thats good." The wires and helmets came off.
"What was that?" Ryan asked.
"I was taking a look at your launch power and stance. I have also studied your wheels to the max. Now here are the results. At the state you're in, you have a 19% chance of making it passed the first round and a 6.4% of winning the match after that. Your chances of winning the whole thing are 1.25%."
"We're that bad!?" Eli cried.
"Not bad. Outmatched. I can help you with that though. It's gonna be tough though."
"I don't care! Lets do this!" Eli cheered.
"Don't get to cocky. You won't have nearly this much energy by the time we're done."

"Ok ok. I...here...you..." Eli panted, dropping to the ground.
"I told you it wouldn't be easy. You're getting better though. Now hold this." Kenneth gave Eli a launcher.
"Ok. Hey, its kinda heavy!"
"3.5 pounds to be exact. Now hold that in front of your body, like this. And launch 10 times." Kenneth said, handing out launchers to the rest of the team. After an hour more of non-stop training, they went down to the cafeteria to rest.
"Mmmm! I love cafeteria food!" Eli said, licking his lips as he stared down the food on his plate.
"Good. Eat up because there's another half an hour or training coming your way. We'll be done after that." Eli wasn't listening though.
"So is this where the beywheelz organization is?" Seamus asked.
"No. They're next door. We have a lot of meetings though."
"Ok. I was just wondering if there was a bit beast specialist I could see." Kenneth raised his eyebrows.
"A specialist you say? Hmm let me think. There's one in the other building. I could set an appointment for you with her."
"That would be great!" Seamus said, taking a sip of his milk. After more training, Kenneth went to make the appointment.
"I'll call your hotel when I know when it is ok?"
"Ok. Thanks for everything!" The four of them went back to their hotel.
"Seamus, why do you want to see a bit beast specialist?" Roxanne asked, when they got back to their room.
"I want to know more about them. Knowledge is power. Also, I don't want to sound selfish, but...I want to see if I can make my bit beast evolve."
"Evolve? Like Kerbecs?" Eli asked, taking Kerbecs out of his pocket and looking at it.
"Yah. I also want to know what triggers evolution."
"That sounds pretty cool!" Roxanne said. Seamus nodded. Then, the phone rang. Seamus picked it up.
"Hello? Yes...no, I haven't...when? Tomorrow? I think so...yah. What time? 11:00? Ok thank you very much. Goodbye." Seamus hung up. "The appointment is at 11:00 tomorrow morning. You guys coming?"
"Yah!" Eli said.
"It sounds cool! Maybe I could find out how to evolve Striker. I'm in"
"Ryan?"
"Fine whatever."
"Its settled then! Tomorrow at 11:00!"

The next day, the four of them went to the beywheelz organization's office.
"We have an appointment with the head of the bit beast researching department." Seamus said.
"Name?"
"Seamus O'Donnell."
"Ok Seamus. The director will be with you shortly." Seamus nodded and they grabbed a seat.
"Wow! They have beywheelz magazines!?" Eli excitedly picked one up. "Hey guys! Lookit this! It shows every team in nationals! There's us! Cool! They got my good side! And there are the Kahuna bubs and that Montana dude!"
"Lemme see that." Seamus grabbed the magazine.
"Seamus? The director is here to see you." Seamus got up.
"Hello. My name is Olivia Garrett, what can I do for you?" A woman about 30 years old with long brown hair walked into the room.
"I'm Seamus and these are my friends and teammates, Ryan, Roxanne, and Eli."
"Ryan, Roxanne, Eli, Seamus...where have I heard those names before?"
"We're the Neo-Knights ma'am." Seamus said.
"Oh yes! I remember! From Illinois. Now come into my office and we can chat." Seamus nodded and followed her with the rest of the team behind him. The office was cluttered with Spirit Axles and papers.
"Ok, what did you want to ask me about Seamus?" Olivia asked as she motioned for them to sit down.
"Well I was wondering, you see, I was just thinking about bit beast evolution."
"Bit beast evolution? That's a rare occurrence."
"My bit beast evolved!" Eli jumped up excitedly, holding Kerbecs II in the air.
"For sure? May I please see it?"
"Sure!" Eli proudly handed his wheel over.
"Is it really that rare?" Seamus asked.
"Oh yes!" Olivia said, excitedly disassembling Kerbecs and looking at its Spirit Axle. "There have only been about 20 other evolutions I have heard about." When she was done examining Kerbecs and taking down notes, she assembled it and gave it to Eli.
"Well, do you know if there's a certain way to make your bit beast evolve?" Seamus asked.
"Well there are no guaranteed ways but I can list some of the ways that I have seen evolution. Lets see...life threatening situation, pressure overload, power reaching maximum capacity, speed reaching maximum capacity, paranormal determination. That's all i can remember. But we are working on a device that could evolve bit beasts automatically, however, they need to be very powerful and have to have had much experience." Seamus nodded.
"Ok, well thank you for everything Ms. Garrett."
"No problem at all. Have a nice day!"
"Thank you, you too."

When they got back to the hotel, Seamus pulled Gil out of his pocket.
"Man, it would be so cool if you could evolve. Well, we'll just have to wait and see what happens." he sighed, putting Gil back in his pocket.

The next day, Seamus went to the beywheelz organization's library. He went to the computer and looked up "bit beast evolution". He went to the section, grabbed three books, and sat down to read.
"There are a few ways to evolve a bit beast, but none are proven to work all the time," Seamus read quietly to himself. "The most frequent form of evolution is caused by the wheel reaching a maximum state of speed and power. This can be achieved by a great deal of pressure on the user, which the bit beast will pick up and use to evolve. Another way to achieve a maximum state is to battle a very powerful opponent. This will help the bit beast receive power through the form of damage, but only if it is strong enough prior to the battle." Seamus closed the book. He didn't want to just sit here. He had read what he needed to. He put the books away and went to a park. There were about 15 kids battling.
"Hey! Do you guys want to battle!?" He shouted. A few kids looked at him and stepped up. "No, I mean all of you!" All of the kids looked up and a few laughed.
"Fine hotshot. But you'll be in some poor shape once we're done with you." The kids went to one side of the stadium and Seamus went to the other.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Gil! Destroy them! Brute Hurricane!" A very powerful hurricane erupted and instantly blew all of the other beywheelz away.
"How did he do that!?"
"Find out in the national tournament tomorrow." Seamus said, walking away.
"That means he must be in the championships." The kids whispered amongst themselves.
"I wish there where stronger opponents around here." Seamus muttered.
"You mean like me?"
"Oh look its Montana." Seamus said, looking in the direction of the voice. "Fine. But I'm gonna win this time."
"Well aren't you so sure of yourself. Lets put you in your place." "Montana" attached Rex to his launcher.
"3, 2, 1, Let it Rip! Gil! Wave Crusher!" The wave came down on Rex.
"Attack Rex!" The attack hit, but with a different outcome then last time.
"Not good enough. Gil! Counter!" Gil attacked, and managed to knock Rex back.
"Fine then. Rex! Ancient Claw!" The Rex beast appeared and attacked Gil.
"Gil! Water Vortex!" The two attacks clashed, and both died down. "Go now Gil! Brute Hurricane!" Rex was picked up by the hurricane.
"Come back Rex." Rex hit the wall and returned to "Montana".
"Chickening out?"
"No, I don't want to give away any secrets." He walked away. Seamus rolled his eyes and went back to the hotel.
"Hey Seamus. Where were you?" Roxanne asked.
"I was-"
"Researching bit beast evolution." Eli said.
"How'd you know?"
"Cuz you're obsessed with it. Why are you obsessed with it anyway?"
"I find it interesting." Eli shrugged.
"Oh yah. I saw Montana at the park and battled him."
"How'd it go?"
"He bailed. I put up a bit of a fight though."
"Well, it means we got better so thats good." Roxanne said.
"Yah but how much better have we actually gotten?" Ryan mumbled to no one in particular.

"Welcome wheelerz from all across the nation! From the east coast to the west! Maine to Florida! The red wood forests to the, oh whatever. Lets begin! First, our 25 team race battle! This will be split into two blocks. 8 teams from each block will move on to a single elimination tournament! The winner of each block will face off to see who goes to worlds! So lets begin! On the screen are the teams in block A! Will each team please send up a member!"
Seamus stood up and walked to the track.
"Everybody ready? The nationals begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Seamus looked to his left. Montana must have been in another block.
"Ok Gil! Lets start this off with a bang! Wave crusher!" The wave swamped the field, and Gil easily skimmed across the water.
"And the Illinois team member, Seamus of the Neo-Knights has taken an early lead! But it appears someone else is riding that wave too!"
"Veronica!?"
"What did you expect? Pisces! Attack!" The two were locked in combat. Because they were only paying attention to therir opponents wheel, neither of them realized that the others were catching up.
"Go now, Herculeo!"
"And the North Carolinian team, the Beywheelz Blasters, have their ace, Stan, on the track and he's going for the gold!"
"Erg. Forget about her! Don't let Herculeo pass you Gil! Water Vortex!" Herculeo was caught in the vortex and was sent flying back into Pisces.
"Knock it off!" Veronica shouted.
"Like its my fault. Herculeo! Power Lash!" Herculeo pinned Pisces against the wall with its Attack Gear.
"Come on Pisces! Aqua Sphere Collapse!"
"Good. Keep fighting." Seamus muttered to himself.
"Don't get to confident! Fireblaze!"
"And now Jack from Michigan's W Power 4 has broken from the crowd! He's going for a head-on collision with Gil!"
"Gil! Water Vortex!"
"Fireblaze! Flaming Talon!"
"Hah. Water takes out fire!"
"Maybe, but fire and water make steam!"
"What? Gil! Erg. I have no choice. Slow down until the steam clears! Wait! Gil charge forward then use Brute Hurricane!" The steam was cleared and Seamus could see again. His attack had also done damage to Fireblaze.
"We have two heated matches going on here! Veronica vs. Stan and Seamus vs. Jack! As long as they can stay in and stay rolling, they've got a good chance of making it to the next round!"
"Thats right!" Seamus said to himself. "I just need to make it into the top 8. That changes things. Gil! Forget about Fireblaze and go for the finish line!"
"Hey! Thats some nerve you go-oh! I see. Race Fireblaze!" Veronica and Stan picked up on it to. Soon, the four of them were right next to each other, tearing up the track. They crossed the finish line in no time.
"And the teams from Michigan, North Carolina, Florida, and Illinois cross the finish line in that order! Now we just have to see who gets the remaining four spots! Seamus went to get Gil. He went back to the bench, and watched the rest of the battle.
"And the other four competitors moving on to the next round are- Alabama, West Virginia, New York, and Wisconsin! Lets check with the B block! The battle was much closer over there but here are the standings! Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, Alaska, Washington, and California! The single elimination tournament will begin tomorrow! Join us then!"

"Welcome to the national tournament! The single elimination portion will begin now! The first battle in block A is 1st seed Michigan vs. 4th seed Illinois! The first battle will be a race battle! Competitors, please step up to the track!" Roxanne stepped up. "Roxanne vs. Calvin! Lets begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Striker! Volcano Rush!" Striker attacked, but it did nothing. "What?"
"If that's your best, you're out of luck. Serpent! Poison Wrath!" Striker was sent flying into the wall.
"Come on Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" Serpent was hit with the attack and took some damage. "Fine. Soaring Flame!" Striker flew through the air, running from Serpent.
"That won't do much good. Serpent!" Serpent caught up with ease. "Special move! Venom Crash!" Striker was hit by an overwhelming amount of energy and was sent flying straight up into the air. Meanwhile, Serpent raced for the finish line.
"Oh no you don't! Striker! Inferno Horn Shot!" A beam of fire came from Strikers horn and nailed Serpent, slowing it down immensely. Striker then fell from the air and landed in front of Serpent. "Run Striker!" Striker crossed the finish line just before Serpent.
"Roxanne of the Neo-Knights wins round 1! Now who will face off in the crash battle?" Eli jumped up and ran to the stadium. "Eli vs. Danny! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Fireblaze! Calamity Flame!"
"Hades Shield!" Kerbecs deflected the attack. "Tricrusher now!"
"Fine. Lets finish this fast. Fireblaze, Volcanic Combustion!" A huge explosion ensued. Kerbecs was sent flying out of the stadium.
"And Danny is th-"
"Hey! Kerbecs isn't out yet! Special move! Savage Underworld Rage!" Kerbecs stopped in midair and then went flying back at Fireblaze, knocking it into the wall.
"Fine. Fireblaze! Volcanic Combustion!"
"Hades Shield!" It appeared as if Kerbecs could block the attack. Then, a loud crack echoed through the arena. Kerbecs' shield cracked, sending Kerbecs to a stop into the wall.
"Kerbecs has stopped rolling! Danny wins round 2! Now will the final two competitors step up!" Ryan got up. "This battle will be Ryan vs. Kristy! Since the W Power 4 team has won the 2nd round, they pick the type of battle." Kristy stared at Ryan, as if sizing him up, then answered, "Race battle!"
"A race battle it is! Let the battle begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Dragon Force." Ryan muttered.
"Pegasus! Rampage Wind!" A small tornado formed.
"Dagger Wind Blade, Drago!" Drago's attack cut through the tornado and hit Pegasus. The two exchanged hits, then sped towards the finish line.
"Wow! Both wheelz are moving at astonishing speeds! They are nearing the finish line already!" Ryan took a look at Pegasus. It was slowing down, but would it be enough to win?
"Drago! Blades of Fury!" Drago attacked Pegasus. The normally weak attack did a great deal of damage due to the effects of Dragon Force. Drago sped across the finish line as Pegasus stopped.
"Thats it! In a major upset, the Neo-Knights move on to the second round! The other teams moving on are West Virginia, North Carolina, and Alabama in block A and Wyoming, Montana, California, and Florida in block B! The next round will begin shortly so stay tuned!"

"So who're we facing?" Eli asked, looking around for the answer.
"Um...it says we're facing Alabama." Roxanne said, finding the match-ups.
"The next round is about to begin! In block A, here are the teams from Illinois and Alabama! The first round will be a race battle pitting Seamus and Jerry against each other! Lets begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!" Jerry's beywheel took an early lead.
"Fine. Gil, Wave Crusher!" The attack swamped the track and slowed down Jerry's wheel.
"Come on Herculeo!" Herculeo struggled to move through the water. "Fine then, Wind Hammer!" The Herculeo beast appeared and its club became covered in a tornado. It swung the club and picked all the water up and dumped it on Gil. Seamus frowned. He was still in the lead, so he would just have to try and keep his lead by using as little energy as possible.
"Race Gil!" Gil sped ahead.
"Herculeo! Lets go!" Herculeo began to catch up. Soon, Gil and Herculeo were neck to neck.
"Fine then. Gil! Brute Hurricane!" A hurricane started up. It picked up Herculeo and tossed it out of the stadium.
"What?" Seamus gasped. It was way to easy. He shrugged and walked back to the bench.
"And Seamus easily won round 1! The next battle will be Eli and Lenny in a crash battle! Lets begin!"

"That was way to easy." Seamus said when he got to the bench. Roxanne shrugged.
"A win is a win."
"Yah I guess." Seamus sat down to watch Eli's battle.
"Ok Lets begin the crash battle! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"If you're as easy to beat as your little friend, this will be over fast! Kerbecs! Tricrusher!"
"Its not his fault! He had just begun playing beywheelz, and he had great spirit."
"Playing? You said "playing"? We don't play at this level. We compete. For fun sure, but we don't "play" in tournaments. Spirit won't get him anywhere if he doesn't have the skill to back it up. All that will happen is that his spirit will be crushed. No one can take that much losing. Its not right!" The crowd was silent.
"That has got to be the smartest thing he's ever said." Ryan said, and Seamus swore he saw Ryan smile.
"No one can take that much losing..." Roxanne said to herself. Then she sighed. "Allison..." Meanwhile, in the stadium, Eli's speech had shocked Lenny which gave him a chance to attack.
"Kerbecs! Savage Underworld Rage!" The attack struck Lenny's wheel and he shook his head.
"You don't know what you're talking about! Go now Bull! Special move, Shadow Charge!" The Bull beast appeared and its horns turned dark with energy. It rammed into Kerbecs and sent it flying backwards.
"Come on Kerbecs! Attack!" Kerbecs and Bull clashed and were both knocked back.
"Bull!"
"Kerbecs!" When they clashed, Kerbecs lost a lot of energy. "Come on! Wait! I got it!"
"Bull! Finish it off, Shadow Charge!" Then, Kerbecs dodged and Bull flew out of the stadium.
"...this is a joke." Eli mumbled, grabbing Kerbecs.
"Eli! How...I mean...well, what'd you do?"
"It was easy! I had slowed down so much, that I couldn't move fast. So, when he came to attack, we were very close to the edge of the stadium. I was expecting more of a fight, but I just dodged and whoosh."
"Whoosh. Well, we win!" Seamus smiled.
"...Thats it I guess. So here are the winners of round 2! Illinois, North Carolina, Wyoming, and Montana move on to the next round!"
"The Florida team didn't make it..." Roxanne said, looking at the screen.
"Well we did and that's what matters most." Ryan said.
"So we'll be facing North Carolina, huh. At least we've seen them battle a little bit. The semi-finals are tomorrow so we should go train now." Roxanne said. Everyone else nodded and they walked to the training center.

After a long training session and a good nights rest, the Neo-Knights arrived at the arena the next day.
"Welcome to the semi-finals of the National tournament! Please give a warm welcome to the teams from Illinois and North Carolina! It looks like the first battle will be Roxanne vs. Claire! Lets begin in 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Striker!"
"Leone!" The two clashed and both were knocked into a wall.
"Erg come on! Striker! Inferno Horn Blast!" The Striker beast appeared and attacked Leone, knocking it into the wall again. "Now Soaring Flame!" Striker flew forward, leaving Leone far behind.
"This isn't over! Leone!" Leone sped up until it was almost caught up with Striker.
"So fast." Roxanne muttered. "Fine then. Run Striker!"
"Leone! Claw Blade!"
"Fire Wall!" Roxanne was creaming Claire, and she knew it.
"One more time! Soaring Flame!" Striker crossed the finish line only a split second before Leone. "How did I almost lose? All my special attacks and I still barely won. Oh well, a wins a win."
"Now for the crash battle! It looks like the competitors will be Ryan and Benny! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Dragon Force."
"Lacerta! Tail Crusher!" Drago was knocked backwards. "Again!"
"Dagger Wind Blade!" The two attacks clashed, but this time, Drago overpowered Lacerta. The back and forth battling went on for a little longer, but then Ryan made his move. "Special move Drago! Spiral Dragon Twister!" The Drago beast appeared and a twister formed around it.  Lacerta was swept up into the air. Then Drago began circling upwards, and soon rose out ofthe volcano, landed on top of Lacerta, and brought it crashing towards the ground.
"No Lacerta! Wait, I got it! Lacerta! Ride the twister up!" Lacerta did so, and was soon back in the air. "Now, special move! Furious Diving Spike Crusher!" Lacerta came crashing down onto Drago, even as Dragon Force slowed it down more and more. The collision was massive, but when the dust cleared, Drago was by Ryan's feet and Lacerta was still rolling.
"Thats it! Drago is out so its all tied up! Who will battle in the third and deciding round? Seamus and Gregory! Gregory has decided on a crash battle so there you have it! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Drago!"
"Gil!" The two clashed again and again, neither of them holding anything back. "Water Vortex!" The attack sent Drago backwards.
"Oh yah? Try this! Massive Lightning Strike!" The attack hit Gil, then Drago attacked again right away, giving Seamus no time to defend. The battle had only been going on for a short time, but both wheelerz were tired out.
"You're good. But try to take this! Brute Hurricane!"
"Massive Lightning Strike!" Both attacks hit.
"Wave Crusher!"
"Dodge!" Seamus smiled.
"Go for a head on clash!" Gregory looked confused, he knew he could easily overpower Seamus in a head on clash. He shrugged though, taking advantage of the oppurtunity. But just when there was supposed to be impact, Gil used the slippery surface from its previous special move to dodge the attack of Drago, and send it flying into a wall. Gil then turned around and pinned Drago against the wall. "Finish this! Use all of your power! Gil, Brute Hurricane!" The pressure of the wall and the special move were to much for Drago. It stopped, then was sent flying out of the stadium.
"And thats it! The Neo-Knights move on to the finals! They will face the Beywheelz Blaster from Montana! The match will begin shortly so join us then!"

"The finals of the national championships are about to begin! The Beywheelz Blaster from Montana, and the Neo-Knights from Illinois will battle to see who will make it to the world championships! So the first battle will be-"
"I'll take them all on at once!" "Montana" said.
"W-what? Well if the Neo-Knights agree..."
"You think you're hot stuff don't you! Well fine! We accept your challenge! Right Roxanne?"
"Yah Eli. We accept!"
"Ok! it will be a crash battle! So lets begin! 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!"
"Rex! Ancient Slash!"
"Striker! Volcano Rush!"
"Gil! Water Vortex!"
"Kerbecs! Tricrusher!"
"Drago! Dragon Force!" All the special moves clashed at once. A huge explosion rocked the entire arena.
"What a clash! We all felt the result!" The DJ shouted.
"Lets do this! Water and Fire Fusion Surge!"
"And Hades Storm!" Even the two fusion moves didn't do much damage.
"Is that all? Now its my turn! Rex! Shadow Nightmare Invasion!" A beam of shadow was shot at Kerbecs. It passed right through and headed for Eli. It hit him and suddenly, his eyes became distant and dark.
"Eli?" Roxanne looked at him. Then, Kerbecs started attacking Drago.
"Eli! Stop it!" Seamus shouted.
"He can't here you." Ryan muttered. "We just have to focus on Rex.
"We can't just let him sit there like that!" Roxanne shouted.
"Oh ok. Lets make this worthwhile then. Rex!" Another beam of shadow was shot at Eli. This time, Eli fell to the ground, clutching his head.
"Stop it! He's only a little kid!" Roxanne yelled. "Striker! Flaming Tornado Destruction!" The attack did nothing. Eli began to cry.
"Make it stop! Make it stop!" Then, an expression appeared on Ryan's face that the others had never seen before. It was a sympathetic, pained expression.
"I will not allow you to do this to my friend! Drago! Dagger Wind Blade!" This time, Drago didn't go for Rex, he went for his owner.
"Rex!" A shield of energy appeared around the wheeler. It was enough to make the pain leave Eli. However, the shock of all the pain suddenly leaving him made him pass out.
"Eli!?"
"He's fine. The medics will come take care of him. Lets focus on the battle at hand." Ryan said. Roxanne nodded reluctantly.
"M-medics?" A weak voice mumbled. "Me? Yah right." Everyone turned in surprise to see Eli getting up. "Kerbecs! Savage Underworld Rage!" The attack hit, and did damage.
"What!? How are you standing?"
"What, you think some little purple beam is gonna keep me down? Keep it up Kerbecs!" The rest of the Neo-Knights smiled. "Ready guys?" They all nodded. "Ultimate combination special move! Neo Element Blast!" Four beams over energy merged into one, and struck Rex.
"Well this was fun and all, and you guys put up half a fight. But this is over! Rex! Jurassic Destruction!" An overwhelming amount of power struck the four wheelz. "Its over!"
"No its not! Gil!"
"Drago!"
"Striker!" The three began to glow.
"They're evolving." Eli whispered.
"Yes! Now its over, but for you! Go now Wave Fin Gil!"
"Burning Horn Striker!"
"Alpha Wind Drago!"
"And Savage Crusher Kerbecs!" The four attacked, and waves of power flew out everywhere.
"Rex! Jurassic Destruction once more!" Blasts of power were flying everywhere, and an explosion blasted a hole in the arena roof.
"This is by far the most intense battle I have ever seen! But who is victorious?" When the dust cleared, all the wheelz were still rolling. Then, one by one, Kerbecs, Gil, Drago, Striker, and Rex fell. "The Beywheelz Blaster is victorious! In one of the most amazing battles in history, the team from Montana has won it all! Lets all wish him good luck in the world championships!"
"W-we lost." Eli said, tears in his eyes.
"Yah...but it was an amazing experience really." Seamus mumbled. Then, "Montana" walked up to them.
"Guys, I'm really sorry for what happened. This battle snapped me back into reality, where beywheelz is a safe fun sport for everyone. I feel really bad for what I did to Eli...so you guys go to the world championships instead of me." Everyone was silent for a bit, then, Eli spoke.
"No. You earned it. No matter how painful this was for me, you didn't cheat. You fought fair and square. So we can't accept your offer."
"Are you sure?" Eli nodded.
"Hey, whats your name by the way?" Seamus asked.
"Just call me Montana." Montana said with a grin. Seamus smiled and waved as they walked their seperate ways.
"Good luck Montana." Seamus whispered.
