The Dream
I was running through Italy. "How the heck did I get here?!" I screamed as I ran. Three men were chasing me with their beys. One was a tall blonde-haired, blue-eyed, buff looking guy. Didn't really look Italian. Next, a Japanese man, who was about at the shoulder of the first man. And finaly, a small light brown-haired, brown-eyed, weak looking boy. "What is going on?!" I thought. "Stop him!" The first man said in a German accent. They all got out their beyblades and shot them at me. That was the last thing I saw before I woke up.
"Shawn! Wake up! You'll be late for school!" I heard my mom shout from down stairs. "Coming!" I respond and get out of bed. I run to brush my teeth and get ready. I put on my Linkin Park shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. I grab my bey holder and my new Beats I got the other day. I put them around my neck and run down stairs. "Bye mom!" I shout as I grab my book bag and a piece of toast. I run out the door and hurry to the bus.
As the bus arrives, my friends arrive too. "Yo guys!" I shout. They run over. "Hey Shawn!" My friend Taylor says. "Sup man!" My friend D.J. says as he does the secret handshake we made up a few years back. "Nothing much." I respond. "Just been blading. Just like normal." We get into the back seat and ride to school.
We all hurry to our lockers and get our books. We run into homeroom and sit down right as the bell rings. We talk about stuff that happened over the weekend. I tell them about the dream. "Whoa..." Taylor says in awe. "That's wack!" D.J. says. "I don't know what they're about, but they're freaky." I tell them. The teacher walks in and we all get quiet. "Good morning students!" She says, happily. Too happily. "I have some exciting news for all of you!" She continues as D.J. and I goof around with our phones. "The best bladers in class will have a chance to face the greatest bladers from around the world! The best blader from each state will go to a Nation-Wide championship to decide who represents America! Germany, Italy, and Japan have already been decided!" She says and shows us pictures of the competitors on the smart board. I look up at the pictures.
Then it hits me. The dream is true. The people in the pictures are the same ones from my dream. I look at Taylor and D.J., who realize, too. Boy am I in for a ride. I take out my Duo Eagle SW145WD. "Get ready Eagle..." I think. "It's gonna get rough."

The Big, Bad Battle Royal! Part 1!
"Wow." I thought. "Now class. We are going to have a battle royal with the kids on our team." Our teacher says. "Time to go outside!" We all line up and walk out side to a huge stadium. There we ready our beys. "3!" Our teacher starts. "2!" I ready my Eagle. "1!" I feel the heat rising in me. "GO SHOOT!" We all shout and launch our beys into the stadium. "GO EAGLE!!!" I shout as Eagle knocks out 6 beys. "ORSO!" D.J. Shouts as his Orso knocks out 4 beys. "GO AQUARIO!" Taylor shouts as her Virgo knocks out 3 beys. Soon, there's only 10 beys left. "SOAR EAGLE!" I shout and Eagle flies into the air. D.J. and Taylor look up. "GO EAGLE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!!!!" Eagle sets on fire and comes down, smashing out all of the beys. "Orso!" I hear D.J. shout. "No! Aquario!" Taylor shouts. I catch Eagle.
"It seems that Shawn is our class representer!" Our teacher says. "Now Shawn. You will go on and face the other children who won their class match later." I nod and say "Got it." We all walk back to class. "Man! You and Eagle are getting a lot better!" Taylor says. "Yeah! You're defenently gonna represent the 7th grade!" D.J. adds. "I hope so." I say and get my things for first period. As I walk into class, everyone stares at me. I sit down and get ready for class. As the bell rings an announcement goes off. "If all the class representers for the school will please report to the gym imedently." Our principal says.
I leave and walk down the hallway. My friend, Jake Miller, joins me. "So you made it, huh, Shawn." He says. "Yup." I say as we continue walking. "You ready to face Kerbecs?" He asks, as we open the door to the gym. "Heck yeah!" I say. "I've seen you training!" We walk over to the big stadium, were our principal awaits. There's 3 from each grade. Jake is in the 6th. "Ready?" Our principal asks. We ready our beys as if to say "Yes.". She raises her hand. "3! 2! 1!" I get ready to launch. "GO SHOOT!!!!" We all shout. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. We both team up and smash out an 8th grader's bey. "Yeah!" I shout. I look over to see an odd looking 6th grader. He knocks out a 7th grader's bey.
"Go Eagle!" I shout and Eagle flies into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I start. "TWIN TURBO SMASH!" Eagle sets ablaze and flies down. He smashes all of the beys out except for one. The odd looking 6th grader's. It's a Zero G bey.
"Go! Samurai Orojya!" He shouts. Then I realize. "Jung Peong-Weng?" I ask. He looks up and nods. "I'm back." He says as his Orojya smashes Eagle. I hear the wheel crack. "Eagle!" I shout. I am in for a big battle.

The Big, Bad Battle Royal! Part 2!
I looked over to Jake, who wasn't discouraged. He smiled, cheeklily. "You think I'm out just like that?" He says. "What the..." I say as I look down to see that me and Jung are not the only ones left. In the stadium, 5 Kerbecs appear! "B-But I could have swarn..." I mumble. Jung's Orojya backs away. I look at Jake, who smiles. I look up at Jung's facial expression. Blank. Go figure.
"GO KERBECS!" Jake shouts as 1 of them attacks Eagle. "EAGLE! YOU CAN'T LOSE NOW!" I shout as Eagle gains spin. I feel this weird power rising in me. I look down to see I have a purple-ish aura. "Whoa." I hear Jake say. That's when Jung makes his move. He smashes into the real Kerbecs with an amazing force. It causes a huge explosion. "Jake!" I shout and look over. Jake is struggling to keep his ground. Jung's bey continues attacking with a fierce power. I can hear Kerbecs's wheel crack. "EAGLE!" I shout and Eagle goes after Orojya. As soon as he smashes into him, Orojya blows Eagle back.
Orojya continues smashing Kerbecs. Jake is starting to weaken. "i WON'T LET YOU WIN, JUNG!" I shout. "Shawn!" I hear Jake say. "You have to win! For both of us!" I look at him and after a few seconds of thinking, I nod. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle soars into the air.
"SPECIAL MOVE! EAGLE CRUSHING DESTROYER!" I shout. Eagle head straight down for Orojya. "OROJYA!" I hear Jung shout. "OROJYA SPEAR!" He shouts as his bey is surrounded by a whirlpool. Eagle gets caught in the whirlpool. "Eagle!" I shout. Orojya then goes up into the whirlpool and smashes into Eagle, which, in turn, gets thrown out and onto Kerbecs. "Dang this guy is strong." Jake says. "I know right." I respond.
We decide to both attack him at the same time. Doesn't work. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as the power gets stronger. "I have an idea, Jake!" I say. "What is it?" He asks. "We use our special moves together!" I respond. He nods. "Good idea." He says. Our beys start to glow. Jung looks confused. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. Both our beys set on fire. "GO NOW!" We shout together. "DOUBLE SPECIAL MOVE! ACIENT HELLFIRE ASSULT!" Both of our beys shoot towards Orojya with incredible speed. "OROJYA! GO NOW! OROJYA SPEAR!" Jung shouts as Orojya covers itself inside this whirlpool. Our beys smash into the whirlpool. "GOOOOOO!!!!" We both shout asour beys blast away the whirlpool and smash into Orojya, blasting the bey out. "No! Orojya!" Jung shouts and throws his cowboy hat off. "I was gonna win!" He said as he thew a tantrum.
"Jake," I say. "It's just us." He nods."Yep." He says and smiles. Both of our beys are barely spinning. "Eagle!" I shout. "Kerbecs!" He shouts. They both collide. "Go-" We both start, but fall down. Both of the beys stop spinning. A draw. The principal walks over and helps us up. "Well," She starts. "Since it was a draw, and Shawn knocked out more beys then Jake, Shawn is our winner!" I am shocked. I look over to Jake. "You deserved it more, trust me." He says as he gives me a thumbs up. "Thanks buddy." I say as I give him a high five. I can't believe it. I'm going to the championships.

Bladers of the Nation
-The next day-
"I can't believe it!" Taylor says as she hugs me. "You made it to the championships!" She adds. "You did awesome man!" Jake says. "We'll be watching!" D.J. adds. "Thanks guys." I say. "I won't let you down! I promise! I will be on the American team!" I say as I walk off to meet the principal. "Well Shawn." She says. "Are you ready?" She asks. "Yeah!" I respond. We start walking towards the taxi that will take us to the airport.
As soon as we get there, she makes sure I have everything I need. "I have my phone, bey, iPod, camera, clothes, and other stuff." I say as we walk to the plane boarding area. She wishes me luck as I get onto a plane to Washington D.C. for the national battle. I take my seat and take out my iPod. I mess around on Angry Birds for a little while and then eventually fall asleep.
I wake up about 5 minutes before we land. As soon as they land, I gather my stuff and run out of the airport. I have my special I.D. card for the championships. I walk to the hotel, for it's only a block away from the airport. I walk into the door and up to the check-in table. I flash my I.D., and they give me a key to my room. I get in there and fall asleep for the rest of the night.
I wake up at 6 a.m., like normal. I put on clothes, bursh my teeth, eat breafast, and walk down to the training room. I'm the 3rd person there. "hello!" 1 says as his bey smashes through several targets. "Nice job Byxis!" He says as he catches his bey. He's a little shorter than me, with blonde hair, blue eyes. He's wearing a bomber jacket, khaki pants, and a pair of nice shoes. "What's your name?" I ask. "Alfred F. Jones." He responds. "And this is my bey, Phantom Byxis GB145R2F." "Sweet!" I respond.
The other boy walks up. "I'm Karan Brar." He says. "This is my partner, Meteo L-Drago LW105LF." Karan is about my height, with short black hair, and a REAL natural tan. He has a red and orange hat with a yellow L-Drago motif on it, a red sports jacket, a black shirt under it, some black skinny jeans, and a pair of red Jordan's. "What's your name?" He asks. "Shawn Faircloth." I respond and take out Eagle. "This is my bey, Duo Eagle SW145WD." "Cool! Would you like to battle?" Alfred asks. "Sure!" We all run over to the stadium and ready our beys. "3! 2! 1!" I grip my launcher tightly. "GO SHOOT!" We all shout and shoot our beys in. The collide with amazing strength and force. I think I've found the 2 bladers to join me on top.

The Battle Begins!
"Go L-Drago!" Karan shouted as I watched his battlie in the championships. He was facing the blader from Washington. "L-DRAGO!" He shouted. "GO! SPECIAL MOVE! DRAGON SOARING RAGE!" The L-Drago beast appeared and flew into the air. He came down in a firey explosion and kocked out the other bey. "Alright Karan!" Alfred shouted and jumped in the air. Karan came back with a smile on his face. "You're up next, Shawn." He says. "I know." I say. I get up and start walking out of the room. "Good luck Shawn!" Karan and Alfred shout.
I walk out the the stadium. "Here's our next battle!" The ref shouts. "The representitive of North Carolina, Shawn Faircloth!" I smile and wave. "He's his opponent, the representitive of Texas, Vance Martinez!" He walk out from the shadow of the waiting area. He's around 15 and has neck length black hair and brown eyes. He's wearing a brown jacket with a ram's head on it, black pants, and silver shoes. "He must use Aries." I think. I take out my Eagle. "Bring it Vance!" I say as I show him Eagle. "Consider it brought." He says as he takes out his Thermal Aries and shows it to me. We ready our beys. "Alright!" The ref starts. "3! 2! 1!" My grip tightens. "GO SHOOT!" We both shout.
Eagle instantly smashes Aries into the wall. "No! Aries!" Eagle goes in for the kill. "EAGLE! SPECIAL MOVE! CLAWING UPPERCUT!" I shout as eagle tosses Aries into the air. "GO GO!" I shout as Eagle flies into the air. "EAGLE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!" I shout as Eagle sets on fire and smashes Aries into the stadium. Aries stops spinning. I catches Eagle. "The winner is Shawn Faircloth of North Carolina!" The ref shouts. "Yeah! Alright!" I shout and hold Eagle in the air. "We're going to the finals!" I shout. I run back into the room were Alfred and Karan are waiting.
They give me high fives. "Alfred, you're up next." I say. "Yup!" He says and starts walking out. "Me and Byxis won't let 'cha down." Me and Karan smile. He walks up to the stadium. "The representer of New York, Alfred Jones vs the representer of Florida, Joseph Dawson!" The ready their beys. "3! 2! 1!" The ref shouts. "GO SHOOT!" They shout, and as soon as the battle begins, it's over. And the winner is Alfred.

The Finals Begin!
"Rumor has it!" I heard Alfred singing along to. "Really Alfred?" I ask. "Adele?" "Yes." He responds. "She is the best singer on the planet." "Well you need to stop focusing on here, and focus on your game plane." Karan says. "The finals are very soon, and the opponents are strong." "i know, I know." He responds. "But that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun." "You New Yorkers..." I say, laughing. "Always looking for fun."
"Shawn Faircloth to the stage!" I hear the ref shout. "Welp, I'm next!" I say, happily. I walk out of the room to the stadium. The crowd roars as I wave. "GO SHAWN!" I hear a familier voice shout. I look up to see D.J., Taylor, and Jake in the stands. "I'll win for you guys!" I shout and give a thumbs up. I see the opponent and get serious. "We have Shawn Faircloth of North Carolina vs Angela Stiger of Ohio!" She was shorter than me and looked young. Around 8 or 9. She took out her bey, Libra DF145BS. "I should go easy on her..." I thought.
"Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. We ready our beys. "3! 2! 1!" He shouts. "GO SHOOT!" We both shout and launch our beys. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle smacks into Libra, but Libra doesn't budge. "What the..." I mumble. "GO GO LIBRA!" She shouts. Her Libra sends out a huge blast of energy. Eagle gets smashed with the blast, but is still spinning. "WHOA!" I shout. "EAGLE! FLY!" Eagle flies into the air. "GO EAGLE! SPECIAL MOVE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!" I shout as Eagle sets on fire and comes down at a high speed. Angela laughs. "Huh?" I say. "Go Libra! Special move!" She starts. "I'm so dead." I think.

The Legendary Blader
"Libra!" Angela shouted. "Libra! Final Inferno Flare!" Libra shouts a huge beam of energy right at Eagle. "No!" I shout as Eagle gets thrown down into the side of the stadium. This causes a huge explosion and I fly back into the wall of the arena. I sit there, in pain, and think about what I'm supposed to do. "C'MON SHAWN!" I hear D.J. shout. "YOU CAN'T GIVE UP NOW!" "DON'T LOSE!" Jake shouts. "I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!" Taylor adds. "USE YOUR SPIRIT!" As soon as I heard that I open my eyes and stand up. "I WON'T LOSE!" I shout as that purple aura starts to glow. I turn to them. "Thanks guys." I say and smile. I start walking back to the stadium when Taylor calls my name.
I turn around. "Shawn... I... I love you." She says. My cheeks turn bright red. I then realize what I must do. "I will win." I say. "I swear it." I start walking back to the stadium, with even more confindence and power. "ALRIGHT EAGLE!" I start. "LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN!" The aura gets bigger. Eagle flies into the air. Angela laughs and prepairs her next special move. "LIBRA! FINAL INFERNO FLARE!" She shouts. Libra powers up. "GO EAGLE! LEGEND MOVE!" I shout and hear Angela gasp. The crowd goes silent. "EAGLE! CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" As Libra blasts the beam of energy, Eagle counters it. "EAGLE!!!!" I shout as he destroys the energy. "No! Libra!" Angela shouts as Eagle smashes it from above.
A stadium out. I win and catch Eagle. "ALRIGHT!" I shout. "I'M A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN TEAM!" I continue. "I AM A LEGENDARY BLADER!" D.J., Taylor, and Jake all run out to congradulate me. "You sure are!" D.J. adds. I hug Taylor, who's cheeks were red as a tomato. We both laughed as Karan and Alfred ran out to join us. "Well," They all said. "Kiss her!" I stared into her eyes and, in the heat of the moment, kissed her. As I pull away, I realize. This was my first kiss. We smile. As I hug her once more, I whisper in her ear, "I'll be back once I win the world series. I promise."
"Celebration time's over." Alfred says. "My battle's up next." I nod in agreement. "Good luck man." I say. "Hmph." He says and turns to see his opponent on the board. The champion of South Carolina. Anna Marie Gray and her bey, Beat Lynx TH170WD. I stand beside him. "it's only gonna get tougher from here man." I say. "I know right..." He responds and takes out Byxis. "I know right..." He repeats and clinches Bysix tightly in his fist.

The True Power of Byxis, Revealed!
We all watched as Alfred walked up to the stadium. Here came his opponent, Anna Marie Gray. She had peach-white tan skin, was tall, skinny, had black hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing a red sweater, a white button-up shirt underneath it, and a pair of skinny jeans. She seemed nice, but I know how strong she is. I've battled her before and the battle ended with a tie and both of us in the hospitle. "Anna Marie..." I thought. "Good luck Alfred." As Alfred readied Byxis, she readied Lynx. "Bladers ready! 3! 2! 1!" The ref shouts. "GO SHOOT!" They both shout and launch their beys.
"GO BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. "LYNX!" Anna Marie shouts. They clash with a huge amount of power. Anna Marie takes a step back. "You're pretty good!" She says in a country accent. "You're not that bad either!" Alfred responds. "You haven't seen any thing yet." She says. "BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. "GET THAT KITTY!" "Not so fast!" Anna Marie says. "GO LYNX!" That's when Lynx's track got taller and Byxis flew right under Lynx. "What?!" Alfred exclaimed in shock. "How the heck did that happen?!" Anna Marie laughed. "That's the power of my Lynx!" She says. "Go Lynx! Special Move! Lynx Clawing Assult!" Lynx split into 4 beys and attacked Byxis. Hard. Byxis flew into the air. "NO!" Alfred shouts as Byxis just barely hits the edge of the stadium.
"How's that for a kitty?" Anna Marie asks. "Powerful." Alfred responds. Byxis spins around the stadium. "How is he supposed to win?" I think. "Wait. I remember how I almost won. I attacked from the bottom." Alfred commands Byxis to attack, but misses again. Lynx starts to attack Byxis now. Lynx's got Byxis to the edge of that stadium. "I must win!" Alfred says. That's when a blue-green aura surrounds Alfred. He hides his face. "I will show you..." He starts. "I will show you the true power of my Byxis!" He shouts and shows his face.
"BYXIS! SPECIAL MOVE! ULTAMITE DESTINY DESTROYER!" He shouts. Byxis is surrounded by the same blue-green aura. Anna Marie's expression changes from happy to scared. "GO NOW BYXIS!" Alfred shouts as the aura grows even bigger than before. Byxis blasts a huge beam of energy at Lynx. "LYNX! MOVE!" Anna Marie shouts as Lynx changes his track height, but it's to late. The energy smashes into the track and blows Lynx out of the stadium. Alfred wins and catches Byxis. We run out there. "You did it man!" I shout. "I did?" He asked. He looks dazed, like he was gonna faint. "Dude are you alright?" Karan asks. "No." Alfred says and falls to his knees, fainted.

The Dragon Emperor
Alfred sits in the hospitil as Karan walks up to the stadium. He stood there, looking confident. Here came his opponent. Brandon Piero, the blader from New Mexico, and his bey Ray Gil 100RSF. "I wonder how Karan will fight..." Taylor says. I look over and nod. They ready their beys. "ALRIGHT! BLADERS! 3!2!1!" The ref shouts. "GO SHOOT!" They both shout as they launch their beys.
"L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "GIL!" Brandom shouts. Their beys clashed with amazing force, but Gil was blown back. "How the..." Brandon mumbles. "Wait. IT'S A LEFT ROTAITING BEY!" "Took you long enough." Karan says as L-Drago gains power. L-Drago soars into the air. "SOECIAL MOVE! DRAGON SOARING RAGE!" Karan shouts as the beast of L-Drago, the dragon, appears in the sky. He roars and soars down, aiming for Gil. L-Drago smashes into the top of Gil, but nothing happens. I hear a horrible screeching noise in my ears. No one else can hear it.
Then I realize. "IT'S A TRAP KARAN!" I shout. "HE'S BREAKING L-DRAGO'S WHEEL! GET OUT OF THERE!" Karan looks shocked. He looks down to see L-Drago. "L-DRAGO! GET OUT OF THERE!" He shouts as L-Drago moves. "NOW GIL!" Brandon shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! BONES OF DEATH!" Gil's beast appears and comes down right on top of L-Drago, causing a huge explosion. Karan falls over.
"I can't lose now..." Karan says. "I made a promise!" He's surrounded by an orange aura. He stands up. "L-DRAGO!!!!" He shouts and L-Drago gains speed, even under Gil. "What the?!" Brandon says. "GO L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! ULTIMATE ROARING DRAGON BLAST!" L-Drago sets on fire and sends Gil flying through the air. "GOOOOOO!" Karan shouts as the aura gets even bigger. L-Drago flies after Gil. L-Drago then smashes him into the ground from the preformance tip. Karan did it. He won. "GIL! NO!" Brandon shouts and falls to his knees in defeat.
Karan catches L-Drago. We all run out there. "That was awesome!" D.J. exclaims. "Yeah! Nice one man!" I say and give him a high five. "We made it to the American Team! We're going to the world championships!" "Yeah!" Karan shouts. "We will be number one! We both shout and hold our beys in the air. The crowd roars. "I can't believe it." I think. "We made it to the championships. Things are gonna get hard, Eagle."

The German Team
I stared out the window of the plane in awe. "So that's Germany..." I say to Karan, who's sitting in the seat infront of me. "Yep and look down there." He says and I look down to a scary looking camp-jail place. "That's a death camp from World War 2." He says. As I stare I feel an icey chill go down my back. I shiver at the thought of the Jewish people getting toutured down there. I instintly see an image of the leader of the German Team in my head. "I think that's enough looking out the window." I say as I sit back in my seat and watch Alfred lose ANOTHER level of Angry Birds. "Dude. You suck at this game." I say, laughing. "I know right." He responds, laughing.
Soon, the plane lands and we go get our stuff. As soon as I turn around from getting my bags, I run into a tall German man. "Sorry!" I say as I look up to the mans face. It's the German Team's leader. He helps me up and introduces himself. "My name is Ludwig Beilschmidt," He says as he takes out his bey. "And this is my bey Sycthe Kronos T125EDS." I take out Eagle. "I'm Shawn Faircloth and this is my bey Duo Eagle SW145WD." I say and shout it to him. A young girl walks up behind him. "H-hi..." She says, shyly. "I'm Charlotte Schieber, and this is my bey Flame Virgo WA130HF." She says.
Ludwig's tall and buff. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. (He reminds me of a Natzi soldier. Seriously.) He's wearing a Waffen-SS military uniform, with brown army boots, and an iron cross necklace under the collar. Charlotte's about my height and skinny. She has red hair tied in 2 braids, bright blue eyes, and freckles. She's wearing a green dress, a flopy green hat, and blue flats.
A boy walks over. "Sorry it took me so long, Ludwig." He says. He stares me down. "Who's this noob? Did he hurt Charlotte?" He says angrily. "Back down, Jynx." Ludwig says. "He's the American Team's leader." "Oh." He responds, coldly. "They call me Jynx." the boy says. "This is my bey, Twisted Tempo 145WD." He shows me hs bey. Jynx is tall and buff, like Ludwig. He has a scar next to his right eye, which is a different color than his left eye, and blonde hair. He's wearing a black hoodie, baggy pants that are ripped at the knees, and a pair of vans. He also has an Elmo backpack on. "What's with the backpack?" I ask. "It was my little brother's. He died of cancer a few years ago." He responds.
They show us around. When we arrive at the arena, Ludwig shows us our training and repair room. "Thanks Ludwig." I say. "I'll see you tomorrow in the tournement!" "Good luck." he says. "You're gonna need it." They walk off. As we settle down, I think about how much he reminded me of a Natzi. "Did you guys notice his outfit?" Alfred asks. "Yeah." Karan responds. "Cool, huh?" "He loks like a Natzi." I say. They go silent. "His outfit was a Waffen-SS military outfit. Only Natzi soldiers wore those." They stay silent. I didn't realize what we were dealing with. I think about it. Then it hits me. "Hitler..." I mumble. Karan and Alfred look up. "Huh?" They both say in shock. "That was Hitler's grandson..." I mumble. "He changed his last name to keep his identity a secret." I say. Then I realize. "We're dealing with a ruthless blader." I say.

Let the Tournement Begin!
We walked down the hallway nervously. "I wonder how bad this will be." Karan says. "I bet he's gonna destroy our beys." Alfred adds. "I know right." Karan says. I'm tired of this. I turn around. "Sop saying that kind of stuff!" I say. They stare at me. "We've made it past some of the best bladers in America. You guys are acting as if we lost already! Get it together or we'll suffer!" They nod. "Just remember," I say. "Blader spirit always wins in the end." I give them a thumbs up and smile. We continue walking.
We enter the arena. It's filled with fans from all over the world. I have the feeling we're being watched by someone important. I look over to see the German Team. "I'll go first." Alfred says. Karan and I agree. Alfred jumps down, and so does Jynx. They walk up to the stadium. "Alright! Bladers ready!" The ref shouts as they ready their beys. "3! 2! 1!" The crowd and ref shout. "GO SHOOT!" They shout and shoot their beys. They clash with amazing force.
Tempo goes to the middle of the stadium, while Byxis spins around with amazing speed. "GO BYXIS!" Alfred shouts as Byxis rams into Tempo, but gets thrown back. "What!?" Alfred exclaims in shock. Jynx laughs. I look over to see Ludwig smiling. "C'mon Alred!" I shout. He turns around and gives me a thumbs up. "GO TEMPO!" Jynx shouts as Tempo goes in for the kill, but Byxis dodges. "AGAIN!" Jynx shouts, but again Byxis dodges. Byxis disappears. "W-what!?" Jynx exclaims. "Ha!" Alfred shouts as Byxis comes up from behind.
Byxis slams into Tempo, who's gone back to the middle of the stdium. Tempo doesn't budge, and neither does Byxis. Alfred is srrounded by the blue-green aura from before. Me and Karan watch, emotionless, and he powers up. Ludwig looks shocked. "Go Alfred!" We shout. "I WON'T LOSE!" Alfred shouts as Byxis is covered in th same aura. Byxis starts to push Tempo back. Jynx doesn't do anything. He's hiding something. I can tell. As Byxis pushes Tempo back, Alfrd realizes he needs more power. They get to the edge of the stadium and Tempo stops moving back. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Alfred shouts. "ULTIMATE DESTINY DESTROYER!" Nothing happens to Tempo.
"What! No!" Alfred shouts. Jynx laughs. "You think you can beat me with a weak move like that?" He asks. "Well you sure are full of yourself!" He says as Tempo powers up. "SPECIAL MOVE! PENDULUM DRIVE!" Tempo is covered in a white aura. It throws Byxis into the air and shoots a powerful beam at it. "NO! BYXIS!" Alfred shouts as Byxis is thrown at him.
Byxis cuts through his bomber jacket at his shouler. It gets his skin, too. He holds the cut as blood comes out. He falls down as we run out there. "I let you guys down." He says. "Don't worry about it!" Karan says. Alfred smiles. He gets up to get Byxis. "I'm sorry Byxis. We'll train to get stronger." He says to Byxis and clinches him tightly in his fist. Hepoints at Jynx. "I'll get my revenge!" Jynx laughs and walks off. "Karan, you're up next." I says. He nods. "Ludwig was right. We did need luck." Karan says.

L-Drago's Secret Technique!
Karan walked up to the stadium to meet Charlotte for their battle. "You ready?" He asks. She nods in responce and readies her Virgo. Karan readies L-Drago. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Karan and Charlotte shout as they launch their beys. They clash with amazing force.
"GO L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "VIRGO!" Charlotte shouts. Their beys clash with great power and then back away. They continue doing this. "Why isn't Karan just using his full strength?" Alfred asks. "I don't know." I respond. I watch their beys closely. They continue clashing fiercely. "GO VIRGO!" Charlotte shouts.
"SPECIAL MOVE! TWIRLING ARRAY STRIKE!" She shouts as Virgo gains spin and charges for L-Drago. Karan smiles and chuckles. Virgo hits L-Drago at fulls strength, but nothing happens. Virgo is sent flying. "AGAIN!" Charlotte shouts. But again, nothing happens. Karan just sits there as Virgo attacks. L-Drago takes it as nothing touched it. I keep staring at L-Drago. Then I realize.
"He's spin stealing!" I exclaim to Alfred. "How?!" Alfred asks in awe. "He's taking Virgo's power and making it his own! Because of how L-Drago rotates, it can steal other bey's power!" I exclaim. We look at each other and nod. "KEEP IT UP, KARAN!" Me and Alfred shout. "Don't worry!" He shouts. "I got this!" L-Drago is covered in an orange aura. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Karan shouts. "DRAGON SOARING RAGE!" L-Drago soars into the air. The beast inside L-Drago, the dragon, appears and comes down in a firey explosion, knocking out Charlotte's Virgo.
"No Virgo!!!" She shouts and runs to pick Virgo up. Karan catches L-Drago. "That was an awesome battle, Charlotte!" He says. "Thanks you!" Charlotte says, smiling. Karan walks back to the stand. "You're next, Shawn." I nod and stare at Ludwig. The look in his eyes. It was unforgiving as a snake. He knows that I know he's Hitler's grandson. He's gonna kill me.

The Scythe of Destruction!
I stared into the snake-like eyes of Ludwig. He knew I knew he was Hitler's grandson. "You ready?" Karan asks. I nod and jump down from the stand and then dash towards the stadium. Ludwig jumps down from his stand and walks towards the stadium. As soon as he gets there, i ready Eagle."Show me everything you've got, Ludwig!" I say. He responds by readying his Kronos. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" The crowd shouts. I feel sweat on my forhead already. I'm so nervous. "GO SHOOT!" We both shouts as we launch our beys. The clash with brute power, blowing me and Ludwig back.
"GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KRONOS!" Ludwig shouts. They clash again, causing a huge explosion. Eagle is thrown into the air. "GO NOW EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle gains spin. "SPECIAL MOVE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!" I shout as Eagle comes down. Ludwig laughs. "What's so funny?!" I ask. "Just watch!" he says as Kronos puts it's side up. I stare. Eagle smashes into the side, but gets thrown into the stadium, hard. "Eagle!" I shout as Eagle goes to attack Kronos from behind, but he hits the side and is thrown infront of Kronos.
Kronos goes in for the kill. "GO KRONOS!" Ludwig shouts as Kronos is covered in a deep purple aura. "DESTRUCTION SCYTHE BLAST!" Kronos smashes into Eagle, throwing him into the air. I see pieces of Eagle's Duo wheel fall on the ground infront of me. I can't take it. "THAT'S IT!!!!" I shout as I'm covered in the purple aura. "NO ONE HURTS MY EAGLE! NO ONE!" I shout. Karan and Alfred watch in awe. "No way!" Alfred says. "He's a legend blader!" Karan exclaims.
"EAGLE! SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout as Eagle flies directly infront of the sun and gains speed. "CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" Eagle powers up, sets on fire, and comes down in a firey explosion, crushing Kronos's special wheel. "NO!" Ludwig shouts as he watches Kronos fly out of the stadium. Right into the wall of the arena. He falls to his knees. "No! I never lose! NEVER!" I catch Eagle and walk over to Ludwig. He looks up. I put my hand down for him to shake. "Nice battle, my friend." I say, smiling. He smiles and takes my hand so I can help him up. We shake hands. "Good luck in the next round." He says as he walks to pick up Kronos.
"Alright!" I shout. "We're moving on!" Alfred and Karan run down to congratulate me. "That was awesome man!" Karan exclaims. "Thanks guy!" I say, laughing. I look into the crowd and see a man with jet-black hair staring at me. He has blue eyes and is wearing a deep blue over coat, deep blue pants, and a white ascot. He also has glasses on. I have a feeling this wouldn't be the last time we meet.

The Austrian Team
We walked through the airport. "Where are they?" I mumbled to myself. There were stadiums everywhere. I look around. Then all of the sudden, the airport is filled with the howl of a wolf. A huge explosion occurs in the stadium a few yards away. We run over to see who it was. A young women is standing behind the blader who won. "Go Roderich!" She shouts and runs over to hug the man.
It's the same man I saw the other day. We run over to him. "Hey! You!" I shout. He looks up and smiles. "So you're the young boy who took down my good friend, Ludwig." He says in an Austrian accent. I nod. "Yeah. That's me." I respond. He introduces himself.
"My name is Roderich Edelstein." He says. "And this is my bey, Fang Wolf AD145W2D." He takes out the jet black bey. I feel instant chills down my back. "I'm Shawn Faircloth," I say. "And this is my bey Duo Eagle SW145WD." I take out Eagle and show him. The woman steps up and introduces herself. "I am Elizabeta Héderváry." She says. "And this is my bey, Wing Pegasus 90WF."
Another man walks up behing Roderich. "Yo Roderich." He says in a German accent. Roderich turns around to greet him. "There you are." Roderich says. "Sorry there was a holdup at-" He stops in the middle of the sentence and stares me down. "This puny little kid beat my brother?!" He says in shock. "You have to be kidding me!" "Brother?! What!?" I think. He introduces himself. "Name's Gilbert Beilschmidt." He says. "And this is my bey, Blitz Striker 100RSF."
Roderich shows us around. He then shows us the stadium we'll be battling in later, since it was early in the day. "Here's the training room." Roderich says and leaves us to our own business. As we train I think about our opponents beys. "I better watch out for Wolf's fangs." I think. The ref knocks on the door and tells us it's time to go. We walk out and up to the stand in the arena. Millions of fans have filled the arena. Here comes the Austrian Team. The crowd roars.
Elizabeta is talking to Roderich. He nods and she starts walking towards the stadium "I got this." Alfred says and jumps down from the stand, walking to the stadium. They ready their beys. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Elizabeta shout as they launch their beys. They smash into each other with amazing force.
This should be an amazing battle.

The Darkness In Alfred
"GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Elizabeta shout as they launch their beys. They clash with amazing power. "GO PEGASUS!" Elizabeta shouts. "BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. They clash again. Pegasus soars into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE! SHOOTING STAR BLAST!" Elizabeta shouts. Pegasus is covered in a blue aura and soars down, leaving what seems to be a trail of stars behind it. It smashes into Byxis, causing a huge explsion, tossing Alfred back. He lands on the ground, hard, and lets out a cry in pain. Elizabeta laughs.
Alfred gets mad. He is surrounded by a blood red aura. "What the?!" Karan exclaims. "No!" I say. "He's being possed by darkness!" Alfred gets up. "I will not lose to little girls like you." He says coldly. Elizabeta stops laughing and stares him down. Alfred runs at the stadium. "DARK MOVE!" He starts. We all gasp. "BYXIS DARKNESS ASSULT!" Byxis smashes into Pegasus, tossing it into the air. "No!" Elizabeta shouts at she watches Pegasus crack. "STOP IT ALFRED!" We shout. He lets out an evil laugh.
"NO ONE BEATS ME!" He shouts. "NO ONE! ESPECIALLY LITTLE GIRLS!" Elizabeta screams as darkness is blasted at her. She flies back. Pegasus lands beside her. "ELIZABETA!" Roderich shouts. "NO!" He jumps down from his stand and runs over. Elizabeta is fainted. Roderich picks her up. "YOU MONSTER!" He shouts at Alfred. "HOW COULD YOU!?" We run over as Alfred falls to his knees. "Alfred!" I shout and try to help him up. "Get away..." He mumbles. Me and Karan backup. "SHAWN!" Roderich shouts. I look up. "I WILL GET MY REVENGE ON YOU IN THE FINALS. GILBERT WILL WIN, TOO! THE AUSTRIAN TEAM WILL PREVAIL!"
I look over to Karan, who looks nervous. "You're up next man." I say. He nods. "I'll win for us. But if I don't win, Shawn, you better." I nod. I look over to Gilbert, who has the same look in his eyes as Ludwig did. Unforgivable.

The Intimidator
I carry Alfred back to the stand, leaving Karan to face Gilbert. As I layed Alfred down on the bench, I looked up to Roderich. He was holding Elizabeta and noticed I was looking at him. "You are dead." He said to me. I felt the same chill go down my back as when I first saw his Wolf. "Go Karan!" I exclaimed. "You have to win!" He looked back and gave me a thumbs up. Gilbert readies his Striker. Karan readies L-Drago. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Karan and Gilbert shout as they launch their beys. They clash and blast away from each other.
"GO L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "STRIKER!" Gilbert shouts. They clash over and over, causing small explosions. L-Drago falls back. Gilbert turned serious. "So what's your story?" Karan asks. "It seems you're related to Ludwig. You sure look like him." Gilbert nods. "We're twins. The only thing different about us is I'm an albino and hes not." I stare at him and realize. "He is..." I mumble. He has red eyes and white hair. Karan nods. "I see. Now, let's go!' L-Drago attacks Striker.
Striker takes the hits as if they are nothing. "What the?!" Karan exclaims. Gilbert laughs. "Another reason you can tell use appart! We have nicknames!" he says. "They call me The Intimidator for a reason, you know!" Karan gasps and Striker tosses L-Drago into the air. Karan smiles and uses this to his advantage.
"SPECIAL MOVE! ULTIMATE ROARING DRAGON BLAST!" L-Drago's beast appears in the sky. He roars and starts flying down. "STRIKER! SPECIAL MOVE!" Gilbert shouts. He holds his hands out. Two orbs of lightning appear in them. He smashes them together and throws the orb at Striker, who absorbs it and covers itself in lightning. "MEGA LIGHTNING ASSULT!" He shouts at lighting flies up from Striker and blasts L-Drago out of the stadium.
L-Drago lands next to Karan, who looks shocked. He falls to his knees. Gilbert catches Striker. Lighting comes out from the hand he caught Striker with. "Alright! I am so awesome! Woooooo!!!" Gilbert shouts and hops around. Karan picks up L-Drago and walks back to the stand. I stare into Roderich's eyes. He's gonna kill me, and I know it. "Say goodbye to the finals." I think. "And Taylor."

The Wolf's Fangs
Roderich gives Gilbert a high five and then starts walking to the stadium. He has an icey cold look in his eyes. I'm shaking. Karan notices. "He's not going to kill you, Shawn." He says. "He could hurt you though." "Not helping." I respond as I start walking to the stadium. As soon as I get there, Roderich readies his bey. "I will show you my true power." He says. I reay Eagle. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Roderich and I shout as we launch our beys. They clash in the middle of the stadium.
"WOLF!" Roderich shouts. "EAGLE!" I shout. The beys smash into each other with amazing force, causing an explosion. I fly back, while Roderich takes the blast. I lay on the ground for a moment, to take a breath, and get up. I run back to the stadium. Roderich has a jet-black aura surrounding him. He looks mad. "Roderich?" I ask. He growls. Wolf is surrounded be the aura, too. He has his face covered.
"I lost Elizabeta once before..." He says. "I won't lose her again!" He looks up. He holds his head and let out a howl of pain. His hair goes from black to snow white. "Holy cr-" I get cut off by an explosion in the stadium. It blows me back again. "He's gonna kill me!" I think. I lay there for awhile. "I have to win..." I think. Wolf is attacking Eagle with it's barrage attack. "For the team, Taylor, D.J., and... My country." I get up.
"EAGLE!!!!" I shout and run to the stadium. "WOLF! SPECIAL MOVE! HOWLING FANG FURY!" Wolf smashes into Eagle with a huge explosion. I fly back again. I let out a cry in pain. I lay there, motionless. I look over to the Austrian Team. Elizabeta woke up and is staring at Roderich, crying. She's shouting something. I can barely hear over the explosions, but I can just tell what she's saying. "Stop it Roderich!" She shouts. I feel a pain in my chest and jump up.
"RODERICH! TURN AROUND!" I say and point at Elizabeta. He turns to she her in tears. He realizes what he's doing and calms down. His hair changes back and he isn't mad anymore. Elizabeta jumps down from the stand and runs to him. She gives him a giant hug. I stand there, watching. I'm about to fall out. "I have to finish this battle." he says to Elizabeta and turns to me. "I'm sorry." I nod. "Bring it." I say. Our beys clash, which causes Eagle to fly into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "EAGLE! CROSS WOND DESTROYER!" Eagle flies down and smashes Wolf out.
Roderich falls to his knees and faints. Elizabeta runs over to his side. She looks up at me and smiles. "thank you." She says. I smile. "No problem." I respond. I catch Eagle and fall down, too. Fainted. I won. And didn't die.

The Italian Team
I woke up in what seems to be a hospital bed. "What the..." I mumble and look around. I sit up and see Karan and Alfred sitting in chairs on the other side of the room. The jump up at the sight of me. "SHAWN!" They shout and run over to hug me. "Guys! Where am I?" I ask. "You're in Italy!" Karan responds. I gasp. "I was out for that long?!" I exclaim. "It's been about a day and a half." Alfred says. "What about Roderich?!" I ask. They look at each other, with a sad expression. "They're still unsure." Karan says. "He may not make it." "What!?" I exclaim. "Elizabeta must be worried to death!" We all have grim looks on our face. The nurse comes in.
She checks me out and I'm clear. Next thing we know we're walking through the streets of Italy. "This place is amazing!" Alfred exclaims. "Yeah..." Karan responds. We continue walking for what seems like hours. Then we come to the Roman collosium. There was something going on inside. We heard fans chearing. "Let's go check it out!" I saw. We run in. When we come to the big arena. It's a beystadium! "A b-beystadium?!" Alfred mumbles. We stand in the doorway of the huge arena.
"There they are!" A fan shouts. He gets the whole stadium's attention. A big spotlight is placed on us. "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!" Karan shouts over the roaring crowd. "I DON'T KNOW!" I respond. "BUT I DON'T LIKE IT!" Down in the arena stands three boys. One of them is the one from my dreams. "Ah!" He shouts. "The Americans have arrived!" He jumps up and down with excitement. "Come! Join us!" He says. We walk down to the stadium.
"Ah! The American Team!" The boy says when we get down there. "I am the leader of the Italian Team! We are the Vargas triplets! I am Feliciano Vargas!" The boy says. "This is my bey, Flash Saggitario 230WD!" His brother walks up. He has a lighter shade of brown hair and green eyes. "I am Antonio Vargas." He says. "This is my bey L-Drago Destroy F." I hear Karan gasp. The third boy walks up. He has redish-brownush hair and dark blue eyes. Almost purple. "Yo!" He says. "I'm Lovino Vargas! And this is my bey, Divine Chimera TR145SB!"
"Let's get this thing started!" Feliciano says. He jumps up in the air. "Good luck guys!" He tells us then runs to his stand. Antonio and Lovino follow. "Those guys are weird." Alfred says. "Yeah..." Karan responds. We get to the stand. "Ok. It's like this. Feliciano, air-head. Antonio, loner. Lovino, to full of himself to care about anything." We look over to see Felicino jumping around shouting "PASTAAAAA!", Antonio in the corner, and Lovino looking at the crowd, showing off. "Yeah." Karan and Alfred say.
"I got this!" Alfred says and jumps down. "Be careful!" I say. Lovino jumps down from his stand, too. He runs up to the stadium. "Let's get this over with!" Lovino says. "I have a few dates after this, kay?" Alfred rolls his eyes and readies Byxis. Lovino readies Chimera. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Lovino shout as they launch their beys. They pass each other and hit the stadium. "Good luck Alfred." I think.

Freedom From the Clutches of Darkness
I shoot Byxis in with great force. It passes Chimera and slams into the side of the stadium. Lovino is waving to the crowd. "Hey!" I say to him. "Pay attention to the battle! Not the girls!" He stares me down, coldly. "Shut up ya freak." He says. "F-freak?!" I exclaim. "Yeah! You don't think the whole world didn't see your battle with The Austrian team?!" He asks, laughing. As he laughs, the whole crowd of people join in.
I look around. "What...." I think. "I-i.... I can't believe... ARGH!" I feel the evil rising in me. "You take that back." I say. "Right now." "Why should I?!" He asks, still laughing. "This is why." I say as the dark aura surrounds me. He stops laughing and stares into my eyes. "Alfred! No!" I hear Shawn shout. "BYXIS!" I shout as Byxis smashes into Chimera, breaking it's wheel.
"NO!" Lovino shouts. Chimera is thrown into the air. "DARK MOVE!" I shout. "BYXIS DARKNESS ASSULT!" Byxis flies into the air and smashes into Chimera. "NOT SO FAST!" Lovino shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE!" He shouts. "SHINING BLASTER!" A huge light fills the stadium. I am sent into what seems like another demension.
There I stare into the eyes of the dark side of me. He looks up. "Why hello." He says, smurking. I say nothing. He walks up to me. "So you're the one who thinks he's a hero?" He says, laughing. "Slim chance." "That's it." I think. I punch him in the face. He falls over. "I AM THE HERO! I WILL PROVE IT TO YOU!" I am surrounded by a white aura. "Alfred!" I hear Shawn shout. "Alfred!" I hear Karan shouts. "I AM THE HERO!" The aura gets bigger. "THIS IS FOR AMERICA!" The aura consumes the evil side of me and I return. "BYXIS!" I shout. Lovino stares at the arena.
"SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "COMPASS OF FATE!" A huge blast of blue energy comes from the middle of the stadium. "CHIMERA!" Lovino shouts as it flies by his head. Lovino runs to grabs Chimera. I catch Byxis and look into a camera they have set up. I give it a thumbs up. "This is for all of the bladers in America." I say. Shawn and Karan both run down and hug me. "That was awesome bro!" Karan says. "Yeah!" Shawn adds.
Lovino gets up. "Nice battle!" He says. I give him a thumbs up. "Thanks." I say. "For what?" he asks. "For helping me come to my sinces." I respond and he smiles. "You really are the hero." he says and walks away. "Hey hey hey!" Feliciano shouts at Shawn. "Next battle is a double battle! Winner takes all!" Shawn look at Karan, who nods. "We accept." Shawn says. Feliciano jumps down and runs up to us. "Good luck!" He says and then turns to me. "Great battle, hero!" He says and I smile. "I really am the hero..." I think.

The Bond of Brothers
Feliciano and Antonio stood at their side of the stadium. Me and Karan stood on the other side. They readied their beys, and so did we. "Blader's ready!" The ref shouted. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Karan, Feliciano, Antonio, and I shout. We launch our beys. "GO EAGLE!" I smashed into L-Drago Destroy. Meteo L-Drago comes out of nowhere and smashes into Eagle. "Karan!" I exclaim, angrily. "This one's mine!" He says. I nod and turn back to the battle. "Go for Saggitario, Eagle!" I shout. Feliciano laughs as Eagle flies ight under it. "W-What!?" I exclaim. "The 230 Spin Track prevents it from hitting the bey directly!" Feliciano responds, jumping for joy. "Grrrr..." I mumbled. I looked over to Karan, who was getting mad. "I WON'T LOSE!" He shouted.
Feliciano and Antonio looked at each other and smiled. "COMBINATION MOVE!" They both shouted. "FLAMING DEATH GENOCIDE!" Their beys set on fire and spun towards ours. "FLY!" Karan and I shouted. Our beys flew into the air. That wasn't the end of it. Both of their beys spun aroun d the stadium in different directions, causing two huge fire tornadoes. Eagle and L-Drago were caught in the middle of it. Karan and I flew back. "WAAAA!" I shouted as I flew into the wall. Karan and I stayed there for a moment. "We..." i said weakly. "We have to work together... For... We are brothers... Just like them." Karan nods and gets up. He helps me up and we run back to the stadium.
Our beys were getting it handed to them. L-Drago and Saggitario were attacking from left and right. We were powerless. Then I remembered what I had said to Taylor before I left. "I will win." I think. "I WILL WIN!" I shout as the purple aura surrounds me. I look over to Karan. He nods and an orange aura surrounds him. "WE ARE BROTHERS TOO!" We both shout. "NOT BY BLOOD, BUT BY HEART! NOW BRING IT!" Our beys are surrounded by the same auras as we are.
"SPECIAL MOVE!" We shout. I feel the weight of our nation on my shoulders. "SOARING FLAME BARRAGE" Both our beys fly into the air. They set on fire and come down, spinning in a twirling motion, causing a hude blast of fire to rain down on both of the other beys. They fly out at the moment of impact.
"NO!" Feliciano and Antonio shout. We catch our beys. "That was an amazing battle!" I say to them. "Huh?" Feliciano asks as he picks up his bey. "Oh! You did good, too!" he runs over to me. "Good luck next round!" He says and shakes my hand. Another level passed. Things are gonna get even tougher, and I know it!

The Chinese Team
Prologue:
The plane ride to China was long and sleepless for me. I stared out the window into the dead of night. I sighed. Guess it must have been pretty loud because Alfred woke up. "Shawn?" He asks. I turn to him. "Yeah?" I ask. "Get some sleep." He says. "I can't." I say. "I'm nervous." "You're never nerv-" "This time it's different!" I say, cutting him off. "How so?" He asks. "Things are getting harder! If we don't win... We won't get to see each other anymore! We'll just be a disgrace!" I respond. "No we won't." He says. "B-but..." I start. "But what?" He asks. "We won't be brothers anymore..." I say, letting my voice trail off. "Yes we will. Like you and Karan said. We may not be brothers by blood, but we are by heart." He says, smiling. "Yeah..." I say and smile. "Now get some rest. You'll need it." He says. I nod and fall asleep.

Real Chapter:
We walk through the airport of China. "I'm not gonna lie," Karan whispers to me. "I'm kinda scared about being in a commie-country." "I'm not gonna lie, either. I am too." I think. We keep walking until we see a group of guards. And a huge group of girls. We walk over. The guards stare us down. "They're here, Yao." One of the guards says and steps away from the group. In the middle stands two boys and a girl.
One of them walks up to me. He's around 16 and has long, black hair, pulled up in a 'rat tail', and brown eyes. He's wearing a green jump suit with red arm band around his elbow. He has his legs wrapped in gauze bandages and has simple black shoes on. He also has a panda in a back pack he is wearing. "Nice to meet you, aru." He says. "I am Yao Wang, leader of the team of China. This is my bey, Sol Blaze VA145AS." He bows.
"I am Shawn Faircloth." I say. "Leader of the American team. Pleased to meet you." I put my hand out to shake. He stares at it. "Oh! Sorry!" I say and bow. I take out Eagle. "This is my bey. Duo Eagle SW145WD." The other boy walks up. "I am Wang Wie-Wuu. This is my bey Spiral Zurafa CH120WF." Wang was the same age as Yao and he short black hair, brown eyes, and glasses. He wore a white T-Shirt, with Black jeans, white shoes, and a black backwards baseball cap.
The girl walked up. "I am Daiyu Liling." She says. "And this is my bey, Grand Capricorne 145D." Daiyu had long, straight, black hair and brown eyes. She had a Chinese lily in her hair. She wore an orange, strapless dress and orange flip-flops.
Yao showed us around China and then lead us to the stadium. He left us to our training rooms. "What's with the Karate targets?" Karan asks. "China is big on martial arts, remember?" I respond. "Oh yeah." He says. "Guys!" Alfred says. We walk over. "Look what I brought along!" He took out an American flag. We put it on a stick-pole thing. "Let's bring this out there to show them our pride!" Karan says. "Yeah!" We agree. The battles are only just begining.

The Black Lily
I held the flag as we walked to the arena. As we walked through the big opening to the stadium, the crowd roared. I held the flag high. The Chinese Team walked through the other opening, holding their flag, too. There was a flag pole holder at the end of the stand, so I put the falg in there. I look over to Alfred, who nods. He starts walking down to the stadium, head held high, full of confidence. Daiyu also walks up. They ready their beys. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Daiyu shout as they launch their beys. They clash in the middle of the stadium, causing a hude explosion.
"GO BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. "CAPRICORNE!" Daiyu shouts. They clash again. Byxis starts attacking with a barrage attack. Daiyu stands there like nothing is going on. "GO! BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. "You can do it Alfred!" I hear a familier voice shout. "Huh?" Alfred exclaims and turns around. There stands the German, Austrian, and Italian Teams. Alfred waves and then gets back to being serious. "BYXIS!" He shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! COMPASS OF FATE!" A huge blast of energy comes from Byxis and is shot at Capricorne. Capricorne deflects it like nothing happened.
"What?!" Alfred exclaims. "How did you do that?!" He looks shocked. "It's my secret." Daiyu says. "Now, let's turn up the heat in this battle." She says. "CAPRICORNE!" She shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! CYBER TWISTER!" The flower in her hair falls out. She points up in the air. The sky turns black and lightning flashes. I see Yao smurk. A huge flash of rainbow-colored lightning comes down and hits Capricorne. It is surrounded in a rainbow aura and starts gaining power. "MOVE BYXIS!" Byxis flies into the air, but Capricorne follows. Capricorne smashes into Byxis, causing a huge explosion, blasting Alfred back.
Byxis lands beside him. "Alfred!" I hear Ludwig and Gilbert shout. Me and Karan run down to him. "Are you alright man?!" I ask. "Yeah. I'm fine." He sits up and grabs Byxis. "Nice battle Daiyu!" He says. She smiles as she catches her bey. I help Alfred up. "After all," Daiyu says. "They call be 'The Black Lily' for a reason. My first name means Black and my last means Lily." She smiles and walks away. We walks back to the stand, carrying Alfred. "My ankle hurts..." He says, letting his voice trail off. "I must have sprained it. It shoul be ok by the next match." "If you're sure." I say and turn to Karan. "You're up next, man." He nods. "Me and L-Drago got this! Trust me!" "I hope so..." I think. "I hope so."

Illusions
Alfred rested on the bench while Karan walked up to the stadium. Wang also walked up. When he got there, he bowed and then readied his bey. Karan bowed and readied his bey. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Karan and Wang shout as they launch their beys. "GO L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. "ZURAFA!" Wang shouts. The beys clash in the middle of the stadium. L-Drago easily tosses Zurafa into the air. "Ha!" Karan exclaims. Zurafa lands on the edge of the stadium and then goes back towards L-Drago.
About half way there, Zurafa disappears. "What the!?" Karan exclaims. L-Drago is getting hit by something. "How is that happening?" I mumble. "He's using illusions. Byxis used to be able to do that." Alfred says. I turn to him. "Used to?" I ask. "Yeah. Byxis evolved though. He lost all his old moves." I turn back to the battle. "Zurafa! Now!" Wang shouts. A bunch of Zurafa appear in the stadium. "Whoa!" Karan exclaims. "KARAN! YOU CAN'T LOSE NOW!" I shout. The other teams join in. "Go Karan!" They shout. "You can do it!" Karan turns and nods.
"NOW L-DRAGO!" Karan shouts. L-Drago flies into the air. "DESTROY THE FAKES!" L-Drago sets on fire and spins around in mid air. Huge balls of fire rain down from the sky. They hit all the fake Zurafa's and leave on one behind. "NOW! SPECIAL MOVE! DRAGON SOARING RAGE!" L-Drago came down with great power, smashing right into Zurafa. "Throw him off, Zurafa!" Wang shouts. Zurafa couldn't move at all. He was being pushed into the stadium. "NOW L-DRAGO!" Karan's orange aura came back. "FINISH HIM!" L-Drago powered up more and smashed Zurafa into the stadium. The stadium started cracking, and then exploded.
Karan caught L-Drago. "That was awesome man!" I shouted. He ignored our cheers and walked over to Wang, who was on his knees. "That was awesome man!" He says and puts his hand oput to shake. Wang smiles and takes his hand. Karan helps him up. He bows as a sign of respect. "Hey!" Yao shouts at Karan. Karan looks up.
"Nice battle, aru." He says and bows, then jumps down to the stadium. "Get some rest, aru." He says to Wang. I run over. yao looks at me and smiles. "Good luck, aru!" He says and bows. "Thanks." I say and bow. He takes out Blaze and I take out Eagle. We put them, face to face. The crowd roars. "Bring it." I say. "Consider it brought, aru." He says and chuckles. "This should be an exciting battle!" The ref shouts. "This will be fun." I think as I walk to the other side of the stadium. "Give it all you've got, Yao!" I shout.

The Legendary Bey of the Sun, Sol Blaze!
"Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Yao and I shout as we launch our beys. They clash in the middle of the stadium, causing an explosion. Eagle lands on my side of the stadium. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. Blaze is still in the middle of the stadium. Eagle lands an attack on him, but is blasted back. "Hmph." I mumble. I stare at Blaze's spin track as Eagle spins around the stadium. I notice something strage about it. "GO BLAZE!" Yao shouts. I see the spin track change and Blaze sets on fire. The crowd roars.
"GO GET HIM, ARU!" Yao shouts as Blaze comes for Eagle. He chases Eagle around, but is to fast for it. Blaze smashes into Eagle, throwing Eagle to the other side of the stadium. "EAGLE!" I shout. Blaze comes back and smashes into him again, throwing him into the air. Eagl lands in the middle of the stadium. Blaze goes in for the kill. I stare at Blaze. "I have a split second chance to dodge." I think. I keep watching it. "A few more seconds..." I think. I was so silent, I could hear my heart beat. Eagle can feel it, too. "NOW!" I shout. "DODGE EAGLE!" Eagle moves and Blaze misses by and inch. It crashes into my side of the stadium.
"GO EAGLE!" I shout. Eagle soars into the air. Blaze moved to the middle of the stadium. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "CROSS WIND DESTROYER!!!" Eagle is surrounded by a wall of wind. "Not so fast, aru!" Yao shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! INFERNO SUN FLARE!" Eagle is still coming down when Blaze shoots up a huge blast of fire. Eagle gets caught in the fire and is shot down. It crashes into the stadium, hard. "No!" I shout. The flame gets bigger, and eventually fills the stadium. I take steps back.
Blaze is attacking Eagle, harshly. "Eagle!" I shout. "I can't lose now..." I think. "We're almost there..." The purple aura surrounds me. "OVER POWER HIM, EAGLE!" I shout. Eagle is surrounded in the purple aura. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "MEGA TORNADO BLASTER!" Eagle is surrounded by wind. He goes to the outside of the flames and spins around the stadium at high speed. "No, aru!" Yao shouts. Eagle creates a giant purple tornado, putting out the flames.
"H-how!?" Yao asks. "A flame can't burn in a vacume!" I respond. "So I made one!" I hear the other teams scream and shout in joy. "Now Eagle!" I shout. "Let's finish this!" Eagle goes in for the final blow. "No, aru!!!" Yao exclaims. "GO!!!' i shout. Eagle smashes into Blaze, blasting him into the air and out of the stadium. Blaze lands behind Yao, cutting his hair piece, and his hair falls down. Yao falls to his knees. "I-I..." He says to himself. "I let my country down, aru..." I catch Eagle and run over. "That was awesome Yao!" I say to him. He looks up as I put my hand out.
"Y-You really think I did good, aru?!" He asks, looking shocked. "Heck yeah!" I say. "You helped me learn a new move!" He smiles and picks up Blaze. He then takes my hand so I can help him up. "Thank you, aru." He says. "For what?" I ask. "For helping me realize that I didn't let them down, aru." He says, pointing to Wang and Daiyu. "I won't forget this battle." I say. "Neither shall I, aru." He says. We look to the crowd, waving. "We've made it to the simi-finals." I think. "Thank you, Yao. I learned a new move, just for the these next few battles."

The Japanese Team
"So this is Japan!" I say to Karan and Alfred as we walked through the airport. Alfred nods in awe, but Karan stays quiet. It's very unusual. "Hmmm..." I mumble. Karan continues staring at the ground with an icy cold look. I can't take it. I turn around and punch Karan in the shoulder. He does nothing. "Karan!" I say. "What's wrong?!" He still doesn't respond. "Are you sick?!" Alfred asks. "No." He responds, bluntly. He looks up. His eyes widen in fear. "Huh?" I exclaim. He points to a young man with jet black hair and brown eyes.
He walks up. "Karan." He says. "It's been awhile." Karan looks scared. "K-Kiku..." He says, in shock. "You know him?" I ask. "Yeah." Karan responds. "Let's just say, he's a ghost from my past." Kiku chuckles. "I am the leader of The Japanese Team, Kiku Honda." He says and takes out his bey. "This is my partner, Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF." He bows. Kiku was wearing a white naval suit with a black and gold collar, but he wears a pair of golden-colored epaulets. The front of the jacket appears to be large, golden frog clasps holding it shut. He also has on simple white pants and black dress shoes.
"I am Shawn Faircloth, leader of The American Team." I say and take out Eagle. "This is my partner, Duo Eagle SW145WD." Another boy comes up behind him. "Kiku! I lost Jo!" The boy says, panting. He looks at us. Then stares at Karan. "Karan! It's been a while!" He says, whiping the sweat off of his forehead. He introduces himself to us. "My name is Kouji Akamari." He says. "And this is my Beyblade, Thermal Pisces T125ES."
Kouji had golden-blonde hair pulled back into a braid, with his bangs parted so they fit on each side of his face, and a strand of hair sticking up. He also had green eyes. He was wearing a long, bright red, hooded cloak. He had a black shirt under the cloak and black trousers, along with bacl shoes. The final boy runs up behind him. "I'm here!" He shouts. He introduces himself. "I am Jo Jung-Lee!" He says, proudly. "This is my bey Burn Cancer 85RS."
Jo had super flat hair with a pony tail and hazel eyes. He had on over sized star-shaped sun glasses, a rainbow t-shirt, pink baggy pants, a Russian winter cap, and red high tops. Kiku and Kouji looked annoyed. Kiku turns to me. "Let me show you around." He says. "It is our duty to please our guests." He starts walking away and we follow. He leads us to the stadium we're battling in. We then part ways and go to our prep rooms.
"Alright guys!" I say. "We've made it to the Semi-Finals! We've got to do our best!" Alfred nods. Karan is staring off into space. "Karan!" I say. He jolts and then looks at me. "That means you, too." He nods, looking a little pale. "So, what is wrong with Kiku and Kouji?" I ask. "Well..." He says, letting his voice trail off. "It's a long story." I stare at him. "We've got all day." I say.

A Ghost From Karan's Past
"Back when we were little," I said to Alfred and Shawn. "We were the best of friends. We did everything together. Kiku, Kouji, and I. People said we were more like brothers. But then... It all changed." Their expressions change. "How?" Shawn asks. Alfred nods. "Yeah," He says. "How did it happen?" "Well..." I respond. "It all started when Kiku got Death Quetzalcoatl."
Flashback Starts
We were at the beach, having fun, battling, messing around. It began to get dark, so we spent the night under the stars. "Guys!" Kiku exclaimed. "The news said there would be a meteor shower tonight!" Kouji and I were excited. To pass the time, we went to battle at a stadium that was hidden, so only we knew about it. Back then, I just had a regular Light-Wheel bey. So did Kiku and Kouji. But that night... It all changed.
"Go!" I shouted as my bey hit Kiku's out. "No!" He exclaimed. "Look!" Kouji said and pointed into the sky. The meteor shower started. "Awesome!" Kiku and I said in awe. That's when I noticed three meteors coming down from the sky. Right towards us. "Guys! Look ou-" I shouted, but was cut off. The meteors hit us, but I felt no pain. I was surrounded by a glowing orange aura.
"What's going on?!" I thought. I looked around. It was like we were in another dimension. That's when I saw a dragon. The monster was coming straight for me. I let out a scream, in shock, but the dragon just circled around me. it didn't hurt me. Then all of the sudden, a Beyblade was in front of me. I stared at it. "Meteo L-Drago." I said and took it in my hands. I was sent back to the regular dimension. Kouji had Pisces. "Kouji!" I said. "You're ok!" He laughed. "I'm fine. But where's Kiku?" We panicked and looked around.
"Kiku!" We shouted as we looked. Then we heard it. A weak voice calling out for us. We followed it and found Kiku laying on the ground by the water with Quetzalcoatl. We helped him up. "I think..." He said. "We should go home." We carried him to his house, then went to our own. The next day, we were back at the beach.
Kouji and I arrived first. We played vollyball and snacked on shrimp and crab legs while we waited for Kiku. "So your mom wasn't mad?" I asked Kouji. "She was ok wit-" We were cut off by a huge blast. It threw us into the ocean. We swam back to shore. "What the heck was that?!" I exclaim. Smoke was still everywhere, but as it cleared, a figure stood on a sand dune. It jumped down. It was Kiku.
"Dude! You almost killed us!" Kouji said. Kiku had a blank expression on his face. "Dude?" Kouji asked and got all up in his face. Kiku created some kind of orb in his hand. "Kouji!" I shouted. "Look out!" But it was too late. Kiku blasted Kouji's arm off. Kouji fell down in the sand. "Kouji!" I tried to run over, but Kiku was blocking me. He made another one. I managed to get Kouji and leave.
Flashback Ends
"I barely surrvived." I told them. "We were covered in blood and scratches. And Kouji now has a metal arm. He wears gloves to hide his shame. I don't know how he made up with Kiku, but after that, I moved to America." Shawn and Alfred were in awe. "Now. Today, I plan for you to get my revenge, if you know what I mean, Shawn." Shawn smiles and nods. "Let's go get 'em." I say and we leave the room.

Showdown! The Explosive Match!
Alfred and Jo stood on opposite sides of the stadiums, beys ready, confident, and ready to battle. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Jo shout as they launch their beys. They clash in the middle of the stadium. Byxis pushes Cancer back. "GO NOW!" Alfred shouts. Jo was busy paying attention to the crowd and showing off. "Hey ladies!" He said, waving to a bunch of fan girls. "Pay attention!" Alfred angrily screams at Jo, but Jo was in his own little world. "Finish this already, Byxis." Alfred says as Byxis blasts out Cancer. Jo doesn't realize he lost until the girls stop screaming for him. He looks down in shock. "NOOOOO!" He exclaims and picks up Cancer. He walks away angrily.
"Your turn, Karan." Alfred says when he gets up to the stand. Karan nods and starts walking towards the stadium Kouji is walking up, too. "It's been awhile, my friend." Kouji says, laughing. "It has." Karan responds as he readies L-Drago. Kouji readies Pisces. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Karan and Kouji exclaim as they launch their beys. They pass each other and land on opposite sides. "GO!" Karan exclaims. Pisces was sitting in the middle. L-Drago started spinning towards it, but as soon as it gets there, it slips through Pisces. "Huh?" Karan mumbles. "Again!" He shouts and L-Drago goes in for an attack, but the same thing happens.
"It truly has been a long time, Karan." Kouji says. "It seems you've forgotten about my special move." He smiles. "I won't lose!" Karan shouts as L-Drago goes in for an attack. L-Drago has the orange aura around him. L-Drago makes contact with Pisces, causing a huge explosion. Kouji's red cloak flew into the air. "Alright!" Karan shouts. The smoke clears. Kouji is still standing and Pisces is still spinning. His metal arm is revealed. He takes off his gloves.
"Things are getting serious." I think. Kouji claps his hands together and a blue lightning-energy is created. It goes to his metal arm and he uses it to make a star in the air. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Kouji shouts. "PISCES DEMINSION DISTORTER!" Pisces lets out some kind of shock wave. The arena is transported to another place. It's just our team and the Japanese team. "W-what is this?!" Karan exclaims, looking panicked. "Ha!" Kouji says. "Illusions. That's what this is." Pisces attacks L-Drago.
"He has the advantage here..." Karan mumbles. "What is this... I've got it!" Karan's hands set on fire. "Go L-Drago! Special move! Dragon Supreme Meteor Blast!" Karan shoots the fire at L-Drago. L-Drago sets ablaze and starts spinning around Pisces at high speeds. "A vacuum!" I tell Alfred. "He needs that!" The regular arena comes back. "GO!!!" Karan shouts as his aura appears. "SHOW THEM THE POWER OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR!" L-Drago smashes into Pisces, causing a huge explosion.
"L-DRAGO!!!!" Karan shouts as another explosion happens. This is followed by another series of explosions. The beast of L-Drago appears, then disappears. The sound of a dragon's roar fills the arena. Everyone goes silent. The smoke clears. Karan is in some kind of shock. So is Kouji. Both of them are scratched up and twitching. Their pupils have disappeared. The smoke clears in the stadium. Both beys are barely spinning. "C'mon Karan!" I think. Karan starts falling down and so does Kouji. The fall to their knees and then to the ground completely. Both beys stop spinning. The battle ends in a tie.

The Death of Kiku Honda
Alfred and I ran up to Karan. "Karan! Wake up!" I shouted. He was out, cold. The medics came and took them away. Kiku and Jo were by Kouji. When they took him away, Kiku pointed to me. "Shawn. It is time to battle!" I looked up and nodded. "Good luck." Alfred said. We fist bumped and he walked away. Kiku readied his bey, and so did I. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouted. The crowd was silent this time. "3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!" Kiku and I exclaimed as we launched our beys. They collided in the middle, filling the arena with the echo of clashing beys. The crowd was on the edge of our seat. "Why is it so quiet?" I wondered. Then I realize. If I lose, we won't make it to the finals.
"Go! Quetzalcoatl!" Kiku shouted. Quetzalcoatl attacked Eagle ferociously. "A barrage attack!" I think. "EAGLE GET OUT OF THERE!" I shout. Eagle gets away, but Quetzalcoatl is after him. "Go!" Kiku shouts as Quetzalcoatl starts leaving a trail of some golden aura. "Back stadium, Eagle!" I shout. Eagle goes to the middle of the stadium. Oddly, Quetzalcoatl doesn't follow. It makes a giant circle with the aura. "Now!" Kiku exclaims as Quetzalcoatl goes in for the kill. "Eagle! Get away! Now!" I shout. Eagle starts going for the edge of the stadium. He smashes right into the stuff and is blasted back. "What! How!?" I exclaim.
As Eagle flies back, he smashes into another barrier that was in mid-air. I stand there in shock. "Ha! My bey's special ability made it impossible for your Eagle to fly. A huge dome barrier is revealed. "Special move!" Kiku shouts. A blank expression comes across his face. Like the one Karan described. He puts his hand in the air. "Snake eyes." He says. Some kind of wave of energy comes out from Quetzalcoatl. Eagle gets stuck in it's place. "Huh?!" I mumble and look down. My body is starting to get covered in rock. "WHAT THE HECK?!" I shout.
It starts covering me. "Let me go!" I shout. I can't move. The beast of Quetzalcoatl surrounds me. "Eagle!" I shout. I see his beast in the air, but Quetzalcoatl's surrounds it. Eagle turns to stone. "STOP IT!" I shout. Kiku lets out an evil laugh. "How does it feel?!" He asks. "How does it feel to lose! You are worthless!" That's it. That's what triggers my anger. "I.. Won't... LOSE!" I shout and break free. "GO NOW EAGLE!" Eagle breaks free, causing a huge explosion. Kiku and I are transported to space. We're standing there. It's just us.
He looks shocked. He looks are, sacred. "W-What is this?!" He asks. I walk towards him. "Get a hold of yourself, Kiku. From how Karan described you." I say. "You're letting your Beyblade control you." His eyes widen. He's back to normal. "Please calm down. Consider this the death of you being controlled." I smile. He smiles. "You need to control your bey. Not let the bey be the controller." He nods. "Yes. Now, let's finish this." We return to the arena, like nothing happened. The barrier is still there. "NOW EAGLE!" I shout. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Eagle goes to the middle. "MEGA TORNADO BLASTER!" Wind surrounds Eagle as he builds up power. "Stop him, Quetzalcoatl!" Kiku shouts. Quetzalcoatl hits Eagle, only to be blown away. "Now!" I shout.
A huge tornado erupts from Eagle. It gets caught on the top of the barrier. "BREAK FREE!" I shout. A purple aura is starting at the top of the tornado. It can't get out. "WE WON'T LOSE! WE CAN'T LOSE! GO NOW!" Eagle sends out a shock wave. It bursts through the top of the barrier and disappears. “FLY EAGLE!” I shout. Eagle soars into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE! CROSS WOND DESTROYER!" I shout. Eagle sets on fire and starts coming down. "WE WON'T LOSE EITHER!" Kiku shouts as Quetzalcoatl flies into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE! ACIENT ROCK SMASH!" Quetzalcoatl is surrounded by a gold aura.
Our beys collide in mid air. They try overpowering one another. "GOOOOO!!!" We both shout. Eagle powers up more. "EAGLE! BLOW THEM ALL AWAY!" A tornado surrounds Eagle as he breaks through Quetzalcoatl. Eagle takes him down with him. They smash into the stadium, causing a huge explosion. Kiku and I are blown back. I smash into the wall. "Shawn!" Alfred shouts and runs down to me. As the smoke clears, it is obvious who won.
Eagle is still spinning in the middle of the stadium. Quetzalcoatl is next to him. Not spinning and smashed through the ground of the stadium. Kiku gets up and limps over to the stadium, and so do I. I catch Eagle. Kiku limps to the middle of the stadium to get his bey. I go down, as well. "Kiku." I say to him. "That was awesome." He nods. "Thank you for making me realize who I truly am." He says. I smile. He picks up his bey.
"This is the death of me. The old me. Kiku Honda has be reborn." He says and puts out his hand to shake. We shake hands. "You are an amazing blader, Shawn." I smile. "So are you." I say. "And don't forget that." "I won't." He responds. "You can trust me on that." We climb out of the stadium. We look at each other and nod. I hold up Eagle. "The winner is Eagle!" The ref shouts and the crowd roars. "I can't believe it..." I think. "We've made it to the finals, Eagle."

The Fall of Legends
We arrived in Russia. "The final battle!" I said to Karan and Alfred. "I can't wait! Let's go find the arena!" They nod in agreement. We grab our things and put on our jackets. As we run out the door, we see a giant television. We take a second to stop and watch. "Alright! The final battle is here!" The Russian ref said. "Will the Americans stand a chance against our own," He took a second to pause and a black screen came up. "Ivan Braginski!" A young man with silvery-gray hair and purple eyes comes up. He has a scarf covering his mouth and nose. "Natalia Arlovskaya!" A teenage girl comes up. She, too, has silvery-gray hair, but has deep blue eyes. She has a white bow in her hair.
"Let's go!" Alfred says and runs off. Karan follows. "Wait!" I shout. "What about the other member?!" I turn back around but some Russian vodka commercial is on. I run to catch up to them. "Wait up guys!" They stop in place suddenly. I stop, too. "Look at that!" Karan points to a huge blast of purple energy. The beast of Kronos appears. "That must be the stadium!" Alfred says. They start walking but I grab them by the shoulder. "Guys. That beast was Kronos." I tell them. "That may mean one thing." Then we all realized. "Ludwig!" We started running towards the stadium.
That's when we heard it. A wolf's howl. "Roderich!" We speed up. Then the sound of someone shooting an arrow. "Feliciano!" Then the smell of smoke and the sound of something burning. "Yao!" And the sound of a snake's hiss. "Kiku!" We speed up. We get to the doors of the arena and run right through them. We come to the opening to the stadium. We walk towards the light. "Hey guys!" We shout. But we walk in to the most horrible thing we've ever seen.
All of our friends. Laying on the ground, with their beys and torn up flags beside them. The only two left standing were Ludwig and Roderich. Just barely. "Ludwig!" He turns his head. "Help the others!" "But-" "NOW!" He shouts, cutting me off. "Alfred, get Feliciano. Karan, get Kiku. I've got Yao." They nod and run to help them. I get to Yao. He's covered in cuts and bruises. He's also shivering. "Yao! Wake up!" He can't wake up. It's like an internal darkness. "Please, Yao! Wake up!" I say. He doesn't respond. I feel him going cold. I look up to the stands. There are the other team members.
I see Wang and Daiyu. They stand there, in tears and scared. "Yao! You have to wake up!" I feel the tears in my eyes. "Wake up Yao!" I feel a tear fall from my cheek. It lands on Yao's forehead. I feel him shiver. Then he stops. He opens his eyes. "S-Shawn..." He says, weakly. I smile. "Yao! You're ok!" "I let my country down, Shawn." My smile fades into a frown. "You fought hard." I say. "Now let's get up from here." I help him up and we walk over to Karan and Alfred.
We look back to the battle. "Kronos!" Ludwig shouts. "Wolf!" Roderich shouts. His hair is white instead of black. "Go. Nemesis." The other blader shouts. "It's that guy from earlier." I say to the others. "Ivan Braginski." They nod. A huge blast of darkness comes from the stadium. We struggle to keep our ground. It hits Ludwig and Roderich. "NO!" I shout. I hear Elizabeta scream in pain. The smoke clears. The Austrian flag is laying on the ground, in pieces. Same with the German flag.
The other teams burst into tears. So do we. Ludwig and Roderich start falling backwards. "NO!" I shout. "Go help them!" Yao shouts and lets go of me. I run over and catch them both. "L-Ludwig?" I ask staring at him. No response. I look to Roderich. "R-Roderich?" Still no response. They're cold. "They're... Dead." I say. Elizabeta falls to the ground. "NO! MY RODERICH IS DEAD!" She shouts. The other team members try helping her. I look to Ivan.
"YOU MONSTER!" I shout. "YOU WILL PAY FOR KILLING MY FRIENDS!" He catches his bey and the other two team members walk up behind them. "I highly doubt that." he says in a cold, Russian, accent. "Natalia. Fix Nemesis." The girl takes his bey and walks away. The last blader walks up. "No..." I say. "THIS CAN'T BE!" The last blader is Jake.

Questions and Answers
Alfred, Karan, all of the other team members, and I stood outside the emergency room. The doctor walks out. "We'll be keeping an eye on Ludwig and Roderich. The others are being moved to their rooms." He says. "You can talk to them when they are ready." We all sigh in relief. I look to Elizabeta, who is still pretty shaken up. Then to Gilbert, who is grieving over the loss of his brother. "Don't worry." I say to them. They look up. "I swear. I will get them their lives back! If it's the last thing I do! I swear it!"
They smile. "Thanks, little bro." Gilbert says and pats me on the head. Everyone laughs. The nurse walks up. "They are ready to speak with you." She says. "Please follow me to their room." She walks away and we all follow. She brings us to their room. "They requested to speak with the American Team, first." I look to Alfred and Karan. They nod in agreement. With that being said, we walk in.
Kiku is reading manga. Feliciano is poking at the cast on his arm. Yao is drinking some type of herbal tea. Feliciano looks up. "Hey you guys!" He says, which cause Kiku and Yao to look up. Yao and Kiku smile. Kiku points at his neck then shakes his head. "What he's trying to say is," Yao says. "He can't talk." Karan gasps. "Don't worry." Yao says. "Our friend should be fine." Kiku smiles as if saying, "Yes." I take a seat at the foot of Yao's bed. Alfred sits by Feliciano and Karan sits by Kiku.
"Why were you guys there?" I ask. "Ivan invited us to try and beat him." Yao says. "So we came." "But we were no match!" Feliciano chimes in. Kiku nods. "Our beys were badly damaged when they were defeated." Yao says and frowns. "We shouldn't have gone along with that! I will never forgive myself!" He slams his tea down, amazingly not getting any on the table. "I let myself, my team mates, and my country down! I am the disgrace in the very name of China!"
"Don't say that, Yao!" I say. Alfred stands up and walks over. "Take this." he says and gives him Blaze. Yao stares at it. "It's..." He says. "It's amazing! It looks brand new! I can't thank you enough, my friend." Alfred smiles. "Nothing a little work can do." He says. "I fixed Quetzalcoatl and Sagittario, too." He hands them to Kiku and Feliciano. "Yay! Thank you!” Feliciano says. Kiku lets out a sound of joy. We all laugh. Kiku smiles.
"Good luck in the finals, my friends." Yao says. "Just know that you have all of China backing you guys up." He gives us a thumbs up. "You have all of my home, Italy, aswell!" Feliciano says and smiles brightly. Kiku nods and gives a thumbs up. "Thanks guys." I say and take out Eagle. "I can already tell. This will be a battle I will never forget. Never"

The Nightmare Begins
I carried the flag on my shoulder as we walked down the hallway leading to the stadium. "You guys ready?" I ask. "Yeah." Alfred says. Karan nods in agreement. I turn around. "Alright guys." I say. "We need to get our game on..." I let my voice trail off as I stare at silhouettes running down the hall. "Yo! Wait up!" One of them shouts. It's Gilbert. "Guys!" Alfred shouts. They stop in front of us.
It's Gilbert, Elizabeta, D.J., and Taylor. "Taylor..." I mumble. She runs over and hugs me. "You have to win." She says and lets go of me. "I will. I swear." I respond. We start walking away. "Good luck!" They shout. "Yo! Wait up!" Gilbert says. I turn around and he throws me something. I catch it and look at the object. "Gilbert's Iron Cross..." I think. I nod and we start walking towards the light.
The crowd roars. "Let's do this thing!" I say. "I got the first battle." Alfred says. I hand him the flag and he runs down to the stadium. He puts it in the flag holder. Natalia walks down, too. She shows her bey. Kreis Cygnus 145WD. She the takes out her launcher and readies it. "Bring it!" Alfred says and readies his bey. Natalia snarls.
"Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all exclaim. "GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Natalia shout as they launch their beys. Cygnus goes for the middle of the stadium. "GO BYXIS!" Alfred shouts. Byxis goes in to hit Cygnus. Natalia moves her hand in a circular motion. Byxis smacks into Cygnus, but is spun around. Byxis smashes into the other side of the stadium. "What the!?" Alfred exclaims.
"Special move." Natalia says. "Cygnus Crusher." Cygnus is covered by a blue glow. Then is surrounded by water. It heads straight for Byxis. "Get out of there, Byxis!" Alfred shouts. Byxis starts moving away, but Cygnus follows. Cygnus catches up to Byxis and slams into him. I can hear the water cutting into the wheel. "Man." I think. "These Russian's aren't playing." I stare into the cold eyes of Ivan. He smirks. "I am so dead." I think.

The Dragon's Rage
"GO BYXIS!" Shouted a beat up and bruised Alfred. "We have to win!" He shouts. Byxis is throwing weak attacks at Natalia's bey, Kreis Cygnus. She acts like nothing is happening. "Finish him already, Natalia!" Ivan shouts. Natalia looks back and snarls, like she doesn't agree. "NOW!" He shouts. Natalia shakes her head. Alfred takes the chance. "BYXIS!" He shouts. Byxis hits Cygnus and starts pushing it back. Natalia fails to realize this is happening. "TURN AROUND YOU IDIOT!" Ivan shouts. She turns around to see what has happened. "Cygnus!" She shouts.
Cygnus powers up. "What the?" Alfred mumbles. "Special move!" Natalia shouts. "Cygnus Crusher V2!" Cygnus lets out this blast of energy. Alfred is blown back. "Alfred!" I shout. He slams into the wall beside us. He flinches. "No! Alfred!" A similar voice shouts. He opens his eyes. He stands up and turns to the crowd. There stands Jynx. "You promised! You would get me back! You can't get hurt now! GO FOR IT!" He shouts. Alfred turns around. "BYXIS!" He shouts and runs back to the stadium.
Cygnus is still powering up it's special move. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Alfred shouts. "COMPASS OF FATE!" Byxis powers up and lets out it's blast of energy. Cygnus does the same. The biggest explosion happens. I hear the flag poll for the American flag crack. "No!" I shout. The smoke clears. There is Alfred. Standing with his arms raised in the air. Holding the flag. There is Natalia. Out cold and lying on the ground. A destroyed Cygnus lands beside her. "A true American will never, and I mean NEVER, let the flag touch the ground."
He reattaches the flag pole, catches Byxis, and walks away. The crowd roars. he gets back to the stadium and we both hug him. "That was awesome!" Karan says. "It's your turn, buddy." Alfred says to Karan. He suddenly gets serious and looks to Jake. "I'll get him back." He says to me. I nod. I look up to the torn Russian flag. "They're getting weaker." I think. "Go Karan!" I shout.
Everything goes silent for me. All I hear is Karan ripping L-Drago. I can hear my heart beat. Then I hear it. The beys collide. "What you did to Shawn is unforgivable!" Karan shouts at Jake, who is not fazed by this at all. I stare into Jake's eyes. "That can't be Jake..." I think. "Jake has blue eyes. This one has red eyes. Like the other two." I continue thinking, then it hits me.
Karan unleashes his special move. It's powered up. He's very mad. "L-DRAGO! DESTROY HIM!" That's when the Gates of Hades appear. "Special Move." Jake says, bluntly. "Kerbecs Hades Destruction." The gates open. The crowd goes silent. The beast of Kerbecs appears and chains come out. The chains grab L-Drago and Karan, and like that, they are gone. "NO!" I shout. "This can't be happening!" I think. Alfred falls to his knees, and so do I. I stare at Alfred. "Karan is... Dead..." I say.

Enter! The Gates of Hell!
"L-Drago!" I shouted. I couldn't break free from the chains surrounding me. Each time I struggled, they got tighter. I could hear L-Drago's roar. "L-Drago!" I shouted into the black darkness. "I'm Here! You'll be ok!" I continued pulling at the chains. It didn't matter how painful it was. I could take the pain. "I will win..." I thought. "I promised Shawn and Alfred." A pain shot through my chest. It mad me sad. "Are they ok?" I thought. Then I got mad. "I must get out of here!" The orange aura surrounds me. "GAH!!!" I shouted and broke the chains.
A laugh came from out of the darkness. An evil one. Jake appears. "So, you've broken free?" He says, smirking. "You're too late." He says and points to Kerbecs attacking L-Drago. Another pain shoots through me. "I won't forgive you..." I mumble. "You what?" he says, evilly smiling. "I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!" I shout and run at him. "Such a bother." A chain comes out of nowhere and tries to grab my leg. I jump out of the way, but it continues chasing me.
"It's like heat seeking!" I think. I look to L-Drago in pain. "I got it!" I think and jump in front of Jake. "What the?!" He says as the chain whips him into the ground and disappears. I jump down to him. "I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!" I shout and punch him in the chest. He coughs up blood. His eyes turn back to blue. "Huh?.." He mumbles and sits up. "Where am I?..." He asks. "Karan?" I stand there. I stare at him and then turn away. "GO L-DRAGO!" I shout and L-Drago breaks free from Kerbecs. He then starts attacking Kerbecs.
"FINISH HIM!" L-Drago shoots fire at Kerbecs and then comes to me. I hop on him and he soars into the air. "We need to find the gates!" I shout. But then, a chain comes out of nowhere and grabs us. It throws us down and we hit the ground, hard. Another shock of pain goes through me. I set up and stare into the eyes of Kerbecs. I look up to see Jake standing on top of one of the heads.
"We aren't done, Karan." he says. He still has blood dripping from his mouth. "Alright L-Drago." I say. "Time to show him true blader spirit." L-Drago lets out a roar. I hop on his back. "Let's go!' I shout. "GO KERBECS! CHAIN FURY!" Jake exclaims and hundreds, maybe even thousands, of chains come from the ground and try attacking us. We dodge them with ease and go for Kerbecs. A flame surrounds L-Drago and I as we gain speed. "What you did to Shawn is unforgivable!' I exclaim as L-Drago goes in for the kill. "Now! It's time to taste true blader's spirit!!!" L-Drago lets out a roar. Jake screams. "GET OUT OF THERE!" He exclaims, but Kerbecs is too afraid to move. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "DRAGON SUPREME METEOR BLAST!"
It makes contact with Kerbecs and a big explosion occurs. I ride out of hell on L-Drago and return to where I was standing in the stadium. L-Drago is piercing into Kerbecs with each hit. "FINISH HIM!" I shout as L-Drago sets on fire. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. Even in real life, he has blood dripping from his mouth. "Karan!" I hear my team shout. The other teams are ecstatic. "END IT NOW!" I shout. Another explosion. I hear the Russian flag pole crack. The smoke clears, Jake has the flag, but in the middle of the stadium are two worn out beys. Not spinning.
I run down to get L-Drago. Jake runs down to get Kerbecs. I get there and look at L-Drago. He's perfectly fine. No scratches. Nothing. Unlike Kerbecs, who is about to fall apart. Jake picks it up and tears start coming down his face. "I'm so sorry Kerbecs..." He says. "I didn't mean to work you so badly..." I stare at him. "That was a great battle, Jake." I say and put of a fist. "Brofist?" I ask. He nods. "Brofist." He says and puts out his fist.
I walk back to the stand. I fall down into the seats we have. "Good luck in the finals, Shawn." I say. He looks to Ivan. I do, too. His eyes are cold and unforgiving. Like a snake. He takes out Nemesis and puts it in the air. "This is Russia's only hope!" He shouts. The crowd roars. Nemesis has a purple aura. It then surrounds Ivan. "I'm totally gonna need luck." Shawn says.

May The Best Blader Win
I stared into the eyes of Ivan Braginski. He smirked. "I will win." I thought. "I have to." I looked over to the crowd. Gilbert's red eyes were the first thing I saw. I felt his fiery spirit. I looked to Taylor. I smiled and she smiled back. "Bladers to their places!" The ref said. "Good luck." Karan and Alfred said together. I nod and walk down to the stand. Ivan jumps down from his stand, leaving a mark where he landed. He walks up to the stadium. "Ivan Braginski..." I say. "I am Russia's only hope." He responds and readies Nemesis. I ready Eagle.
"Bladers ready!" The ref says. "3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!" Ivan and I shout as we launch our beys. The collide in the middle, sending out a blast of energy. I stand my ground, but Ivan takes at step back. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. Eagle goes in for a hit. "NEMESIS!" Ivan shouts. They make contact, causing another explosion. "GO!!!" I shout. Eagle again goes for an attack. Nemesis blocks it. "How?!" I exclaim. I hear some kind of click. I look to Nemesis who is speeding towards Eagle. "FLY EAGLE!" Eagle flies into the air before Nemesis can get to him.
"SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" Eagle sets on fire and comes down with amazing force. Ivan smiles. "Not so fast." He says. "Huh?!" I exclaim. Eagle makes contact, but is thrown to the other side of the stadium. Nemesis starts charging for Eagle. He makes contact. I hear Eagle's wheel crack. "No! Eagle!" I shout. Nemesis pushes him to the edge of the stadium. Eagle tilts up a bit. "Huh?" I say. Ivan growls. Nemesis is getting his spin drained by my spin track. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. Eagle sends out a blast of wind, blowing Nemesis to the other side. Eagle adds onto that by attacking suddenly.
Ivan snarls. "NEMESIS!" He shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! DEVIL'S RAGE!" Nemesis is surrounded by a red energy. Eagle tries stopping it, but is blasted back. Then I see it. A red Eagle beast comes out of Nemesis and attacks my Eagle. He's using a barrage attack. "BLOW HIM AWAY, EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle is surrounded by wind. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "EAGLE MEGA TORNADO BUSTER!" A huge tornado forms in the stadium.
It tosses Nemesis into the air. Eagle then rides the winds of the tornado into the air. "How?!" Ivan shouts. "An Eagle boldly flies through a storm!" I respond. "It can feel winds we can't and using that, they soar!" Eagle makes contact with Nemesis, throwing him down into the stadium. Eagle comes down. "CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" I shout and Eagle sets ablaze. He makes contact with Nemesis. The crowd roars.
It all seems like it's over with. But then, Ivan's eyes turn red. He is surrounded by the purple aura. "Huh?!" I exclaim. Nemesis throws Eagle off. Ivan appears behind me and laughs in my ear. "You think this is over, little boy?" He asks. I turn around to punch him, but he's gone. "How the?!" I turn back around and he laughs again. The crowd goes silent. Ivan creepily smiles. The sky turns back. "It went from day to night, just like that?!" I think. "Special Move." Ivan says. "Black Death Genocide." Nemesis sends out a huge blast of energy. But it's not heading for Eagle. It's heading for me.

The True Blader's Spirit
"Nemesis!" Ivan shouted. "Special Move! Black Death Homicide!" Nemesis shot out a blast of darkness. It wasn't heading for Eagle. It was heading for me. I take the hit, right to the chest. I let out a cry of pain. "No!" I hear my team shout. I slam into the wall. "What is this?!" I think. "I can't move!" Darkness surrounds me. Ivan appears in front of me. He punches me right in the mouth. "That was for Natalia!" He says and lets out an evil laugh. "This is for Jake!" He punches me in the stomach. I cough up blood. My eyes start to close. "No! Must... Fight... Darkness..." I say to myself and black out.
I stand in the middle of a black void. All I can hear is Ivan's laugh. "STOP IT!" I shout and cover my ears. He appears behind me and pushes me down. "You're a weak fool! Challenging me like that!? What were you thinking?!" He puts his foot on my chest. I can see it. The whole world turning to darkness. I see Taylor and D.J., standing hopeless in the rain. Karan and Alfred. The laughing stock of America. All of the other teams grieving. Ludwig and Roderich. Still dead.
I close my eyes again. There I see Gilbert in front of me. Elizabeta appears behind him. Then Yao, Feliciano, Kiku, and all my other friends. Someone puts their hand on my shoulder. I turn to see Ludwig and Roderich's ghosts. "You have Germany with you." Ludwig says. "Austria is here, too." Roderich says. I turn to see everyone. "You guys... Were always by my side." I say. The team leaders walk up to me.
Yao puts Blaze to my chest. "The power of the sun. It's with you now." He says. Kiku puts Quetzalcoatl to my chest. "The power of the ancient snake. Use it wisely." He says. Feliciano, Ludwig, and Roderich all put their beys to me. "The power of the legendary archer. You need it now." Feliciano says. "The power of the Grim Reaper. It'll do you good." Ludwig says. "The power of the mighty wolf. May it's fangs guide you." Roderich says. They all smile. "Go get him!" They all say.
I open my eyes to see Ivan's face. We're still in the dark void. I am surrounded by a rainbow aura. "DIE!!!" I shout. He gets blasted back. I get up. He lands on his feet and runs towards me. I run towards him. "I'LL KILL YOU!" He shouts and tries punching me. I spin, dodging the punch and sock him right in the jaw. Then in the stomach. He lets out a howl in pain. We go back to the real world.
"I WON'T LOSE!" I break free from the darkness. "How?!" Ivan asks. The other teams cheer. The crowd goes nuts. I run back to the stadium. "I have all my friends with me!" I power up with the rainbow aura. Eagle glows. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Eagle soars into the air. Into space. "OMNI UNIVERSE DESTROYER!" Eagle's beast appears in the night sky. The Eagle constellation lights up. "GO NOW!" Eagle soars down.
"The power of the sun, Yao Wang. The power of the ancient snake, Kiku Honda. The power of the legendary archer, Feliciano Vargas. The power of the Grim Reaper, Ludwig Beilschmidt. The power of the mighty wolf, Roderich Edelstein." I say. Ivan lets out a cry of fear. "The power of the legendary compass, Alfred F. Jones. The dragon emperor, Karan Brar. The mighty bear, D.J. Harrison. And the mighty ocean, Taylor Ware." Eagle powers up even more.
"I have everyone by my side!" I shout. "No! Nemesis!" Ivan shouts. "Block his move!" Nemesis powers up. "BLACK DEATH HOMICIDE!" He shouts and Nemesis sends out the blast of energy. It hits Eagle but fades away. "NO!" He shouts. "WE ARE ONE! WE ARE THE CHOSEN ONES!" Eagle powers up with all the power of the other bladers. I look over my shoulder. Everyone is standing, holding their beys.
"EAGLE! FINISH HIM!" I shout. Eagle makes contact. Nemesis shatters. A huge explosion occurs. The smokes surrounds me. The flag pole falls, but I catch it. "Shawn!" Everyone shouts. "We are one!" I shout as the smoke clears. I hold up the American flag. The crowd cheers. Ivan stands on the other side. His eyes have turned completely purple. The Russian flag lies on the ground.
I turn and catch Eagle. "Thank you." I say. I hold up Eagle. "WE ARE ONE!" I shout. The other teams do the same with their beys. "WE ARE ONE!" They all shout. I see two aura come from Nemesis and go back to the hospital. The other teams run down to me. Alfred and Karan hug me. "That was amazing!" Alfred says. I smile. Then they appear. The team leaders. I walk up to them. "Thank yo-" "I'm not done with you, Shawn." Ivan says. He is surrounded by darkness and turned into a giant monster. "Oh my God." I say.

Ivan's Dark Side
"I'm not finished with you yet, Shawn." Ivan said. I turned from my friends and stared at him. "Time for you to taste true darkness." He said. Right then, darkness came from the destroyed Nemesis. It swirled around in the air and then surrounded Ivan. He let out an evil laugh as he grew and turned into a giant monster made of darkness. The monster roared. It caused a giant gust of wind to blow through the arena. We covered our ears and tried to stand our ground. "This is crazy!" Alfred shouted over the loud noise. Daiyu was in front of me and couldn't keep her ground. She flew back, but I grabbed her arm. "Thank you, Shawn!" She shouted. "No problem!" I shouted and sat her down.
The noise settled down. "What are you gonna do now?" The monster asked and let out an evil laugh. "I'll defeat you!" I yelled and readied Eagle. Everyone else readied their beys. The crowd started fleeing from the arena, and so did the ref. "Attack!" I shouted and launched Eagle. Everyone else launched their beys, too. "Go Eagle!" I shouted. The beast appeared and flew towards Ivan. "Byxis!" Alfred shouted. "L-Drago!" Karan shouted. They all attacked.
"Ha!" The monster exclaimed. "That is nothing!" He swiped his arm out and smacked Eagle out of the sky. He hit the ground. I flew back. "Shawn!" Gilbert shouted and caught me. "Thanks man!" I said as he set me down. "No problem." He responded. "Go Stiker!" He shouts. Lightning forms in his hands and he throws it at the monster. He takes the hit and lets out a cry in pain. "Yeah! Feel my awesomeness!" Gilbert shouts and shoots another lightning bolt. He reflects it and it shoots back at Gilbert. "Verdammt!" He shouts and jumps into the air, barely dodging the lightning.
Everyone is attacking with their powers. Roderich is shooting some kind of red energy out of his hands. Ludwig is shooting darkness, but it seems to hurt the monster. Feliciano has made a bow out of energy and is shooting flaming arrows. Kiku is punching the stadium floor, making chunks of rock, and throwing them at that thing. "Give it up!" I shout. The beast roars and sends out a blast of dark energy. It's heading straight for me.

The Fire Master
The monster let out a roar and shot a blast of darkness right at me. I was too scared to move. "Shawn! MOVE!" Alfred shouted. Then suddenly, Yao jumped in front of me. "NO!" I shouted. "NIHAO!" He shouted and put his hands to his mouth. He took a deep breath and then let it all out. Fire shot from his hands and stopped the darkness. "Whoa." I said in awe. Everyone else stared at the fire. "BLAZE, ARU!" He shouted. He moved his arms and legs. He spun around and then stopped in a knife-hand guarding block stance. "LET'S GO, ARU!" He yelled and punched at the monster. That caused more fire to shoot from his hands. The monster took the hit and fell down.
"Did you see that!?" I asked Alfred. "How could I miss it?!" He responded. "GO YAO!" We all shouted. He continued shooting fire at the monster. We all stood there, in awe, watching the spectacular show. "THAT WAS FOR THE PAIN I SUFFERED!" He yelled as he continued to hit him with fire. "THIS IS FOR MY TEAMMATE'S PAIN!" He continued shooting fire. "AND THIS IS FOR ALL OF CHINA!" He sent out huge blasts of fire. I stood behind him. "That is amazing, Ya-" I stared at him. His eyes turned red. "Yao?" I asked.
"DON'T MESS WITH ME!" He shouted. I hear Daiyu let out a gasp. "NO!" Wang shouts. "QUIT IT YAO!" He runs up and grabs his arm. Yao throws him back. Wang lands on the ground. "What's happening to Yao?!" I ask Wang. "He's going crazy! The power is going to his head! He's done this once before! We ended up in the hospital!" Wang responds. I help him up. "How do we stop him?" I ask, staring at the back of Yao. "We don't know." Wang responds. "I'll try." I say and take a step to Yao.
"Yao!" I shout. "Can you hear me!?" The evil Yao turns and looks over his shoulder. He growls. "What do you want, foreigner?" He asks. "Foreigner?" I think. "This seriously isn't the Yao I know." I stare at him. "This isn't the Yao we know!" I say. "The Yao we know is kind-hearted, caring, brave, and strong! You are not Yao Wang!" "Huh?" He mumbles and puts his hands down. "You are not the Yao Wang I know! The Yao Wang I know is one of my best friends!"
"I am..." He says. "I am Yao Wang, aru! The fire master, aru!" His eyes go back to normal. "I AM THE STRONGEST BLADER IN CHINA, ARU!" He is surrounded by fire. His shirt gets burned off revealing an eight-pack of abs. "Lucky." I mumble to Karan and Alfred who burst out laughing. He turns to the monster. "I know who I am, aru." He says and powers up more. He starts floating in the air. "This is..." He starts. "THE POWER OF CHINA, ARU!" He shoots more flames at the monster. "FEEL THE WRATH OF 4,000 YEARS, ARU!" The flames get bigger. "GO YAO!" We shout.
"We've been through thick and thin..." He says. "Even if we live in different countries... Speak different languages... We are always together... THROUGH THE POWER OF BEYBLADE!" A huge flash fills the stadium. The flash goes into space, right into the sun. "THIS IS MY TRUE POWER!" He says. "SPECIAL MOVE! THE SUN'S ASSULT!" A huge blast of energy comes down from the sun and hits the monster. "THIS IS THE POWER OF LIGHT, ARU!" A huge blast comes from what's left of the arena.
Yao starts to fall down. I run up behind him and catch him. "Xie-xie, Yao." I say. "Aiyaa..." He whispers and faints. "Yao!" Daiyu and Wang exclaim as they run to see him. "He should be ok." I say and hand him over. "Xie-xie, Yao." Daiyu and Wang say. Daiyu hugs him. I see a faint smile on his face. The monster roars. We turn around. "Take Yao to safety." I say to them. They nod. "It's time to end this." I say.

The Light in the Darkness
Daiyu laid Yao down beside one of the rocks from the crumbled stadium. "You got him?" I ask. She nods. "I'll stay by him until he wakes." She responds and holds his arm. "Does Daiyu like Yao?" I ask Wang. "Yup." He responds. I smile at them and then turn back to the fight. The monster has gotten up, but is very weak. "Shawn!" A familiar voice shouts. I turn to see Jake and Natalia running towards me. "We have to save Ivan!" Natalia says. She looks scared. "I've never seen him this way! I can't take it!" Tears form in her eyes. I nod. I take a step up to the team leaders who are fighting with everything they have.
"So if they have special powers..." I think and stare at my hands. "What is mine?" Then it hits me. "Wind." I think. I clap my hands together, shooting wind at the monster. It blows him back. "Nice!" Alfred says and gives me a thumbs up. "I can bend the wind that I feel..." I say. I take a step up. I'm standing beside Ludwig. "Do it already, Shawn!" He says. They are all shooting energy from their hands. I feel a power rising in me. I shoot a lavender colored energy from my hands.
They all hit the monster. "This isn't enough!" I say. "We need Yao!" "I'm a step ahead of you, aru." Someone says from behind me. I turn around to see a fully awaken Yao. "Just in time!" Ludwig says. Yao steps up next to me. He shoots an orange energy from his hands. Then Elizabeta steps up. She shoots a deep blue energy from her hands. Gilbert steps up. He shoots a green energy from his hands. Alfred steps up, shooting a neon blue energy from his hands. Karan steps up, shooting a neon orange energy from his hands.
Everyone steps up, shooting different colors of energy from their hands. Daiyu has a multi-colored energy. Charlotte has a sunshine yellow energy. "We are the controllers of the elements!" I shout. "Let's show him the power of light!" I shout. "Yeah!" Everyone shouts. They all call out their special moves. They gather together in one big ball of light. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "UNITED UNIVERSE DESTROYER!" The ball of light smashes into the monster. A huge flash of light fills the area around the arena. It sends a sonic boom through the air, through out the world.
The light clears. "Is everyone ok?" I ask. "Yes." They all respond. The monster is gone. Ivan lays there on the ground. I run over. "Ivan!" I exclaim and get to his side. "Are you ok?" I ask. His eyes are closed. "Ivan..." I ask again. Nothing. I feel for a pulse. Nothing. "No!" I shout and burry my face in my hands. I feel the tears gather up in my hands. "How could I let him die..." I say to myself. The others run up behind me.
"Shawn?" They ask. I say nothing. Alfred and Karan stand behind me. They get down on their knees and try talking to me. "How is he?" Alfred ask. "He's..." I try saying. "He's what?" Karan asks. "...Gone." They let out a gasp. Natalia falls to her knees. I turn to them. Ludwig is hiding his face by staring at the ground. Roderich is speechless. Feliciano's mouth hangs open. Yao has tears forming in his eyes. Kiku tries hiding his emotions, but can't.
"I'm sorry." I say to Natalia. She continues crying. Everyone goes silent. Then something amazing happens. I turn to Ivan. He twitches. "Huh?" I mumble and get down to his side. His eyes open. "Ivan!" I exclaim. "What'd I miss?" He asks. He's back to normal. Everyone cheers as he sits up. "I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you all." he says. "It's fin-" I get cut off. I start falling backwards. Someone catches me. "Shawn!" I hear someone shout. I can't make out their voice. Everything goes dark as I fall into a world of darkness.

A Hero's Return
I woke up in my bed. I sit up quickly. A shock of pain goes through me. I look at the time. 12:00 pm. June 11th. The day I "left". "So it was just... A dream?" I think. I start to get out of bed. I grab Eagle, who is clear of all scratches. I put on my regular clothes and walk downstairs. "Morning mom." I say. No response. "Mom?" I walk in the kitchen. No one's there. "Where is she?" I turn to get a drink from the fridge, but notice something. A note. I pick it up and read it. It reads:


I put it down and walk outside. I let out a gasp. There, standing in front of me, is all of the town, the other teams, and the head of the WBBA. "Is this," I start. "All for me?!" Alfred and Karan walk up. "Yup!" Alfred says. "We're the world champions." Karan says. "Come with me." Alfred says. "Someone wants to meet you." He takes me up to the head of the WBBA. "Hello." he says. "My name is Bradley Smith." He puts his hand out for me to shake. I kindly shake it. "It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Smith." I say. "Well, it's an honor to meet you." He responds. "You're friends are waiting to see you."
I turn to the front of the crowd. There stands all of my friends. I run up to them and they give me a giant group hug. "Thank you!" I say. "It was an honor to fight beside you, Shawn." Yao says and bows. "Hope to battle you again, my friend." Ludwig says and pats me on the head. "You were truly awesome, little bro." Gilbert says. "I hope we can still talk, Shawn." Feliciano says. "That last battle is something I'll never forget." Kiku says. "It seems you've surpassed even my level of skill, Shawn." Roderich says and smiles.
"Thank you guys. I'll never forget this day." I say. "I'll stay in contact with you guys." "You better." Gilbert says. My mom comes up behind me and gives me a surprise hug. "Mom! Don't embarrass me!" I say. They all laugh. D.J. and Taylor come up. My mom lets go of me and I run to Taylor. I give her a hug. "Awwww!" They all say. Taylor's cheeks turn red.

Hours Later

"So," I start, "How long was I out?" I ask Karan and Alfred. We had just eaten cake and were outside watching the stars. All of the other teams were there, too. "Few days. Long enough to get back to America." Alfred responded. "Wow..." I say. "No wonder I was so hungry." Everyone laughs. "So what happened while I was out?" I ask. Gilbert points to Elizabeta with an evil smile. "She's pregnant." He says. "Gilbert!" Elizabeta says and punches him in the shoulder.
"Well congratulations." I say. "Thank you." She responds and smiles. Roderich puts his arm around her. Yao smiles. "Daiyu and I are, what you Americans call, "a couple"." I look down to Daiyu. She smiles. "Nice." I say and fist bump Yao. They all laugh. Jynx raises his hand. "Me and Charlotte are dating." Charlotte's face turns red. "Awesome." Alfred says.
"Anything else?" I ask. "Ivan and Natalia are dating." Ludwig says. "Or so I've heard." I look around. "Where are they?" I ask. "No one knows." Ludwig responds. "After you fainted, Ivan said he'd go out with Natalia. No one's heard from them sense." I have a bad feeling about that. I really bad one. I stared into the campfire we had made. "Something wrong?" Taylor asks. "No." I say. We get all quiet.
"I hope to see you guys again in the near future." I say. "We can video chat!" Gilbert says. "Yeah!" Everyone agrees. "So I guess we'll talk soon." I smile. I look to the stars. I see a shooting star. "This day can't be any more perfect." I say. "Yes it can." Taylor says. I look down. She kisses me. I feel my cheeks turn red. Everyone aw's. "And it looks like it just did." I say. I stare into the stars. "Thank you, my friends." I think. "And thank you, Eagle."

The Big, Bad Battle Royal! Part 1!
"Wow." I thought. "Now class. We are going to have a battle royal with the kids on our team." Our teacher says. "Time to go outside!" We all line up and walk out side to a huge stadium. There we ready our beys. "3!" Our teacher starts. "2!" I ready my Eagle. "1!" I feel the heat rising in me. "GO SHOOT!" We all shout and launch our beys into the stadium. "GO EAGLE!!!" I shout as Eagle knocks out 6 beys. "ORSO!" D.J. Shouts as his Orso knocks out 4 beys. "GO AQUARIO!" Taylor shouts as her Virgo knocks out 3 beys. Soon, there's only 10 beys left. "SOAR EAGLE!" I shout and Eagle flies into the air. D.J. and Taylor look up. "GO EAGLE! TWIN TURBO SMASH!!!!" Eagle sets on fire and comes down, smashing out all of the beys. "Orso!" I hear D.J. shout. "No! Aquario!" Taylor shouts. I catch Eagle.
"It seems that Shawn is our class representer!" Our teacher says. "Now Shawn. You will go on and face the other children who won their class match later." I nod and say "Got it." We all walk back to class. "Man! You and Eagle are getting a lot better!" Taylor says. "Yeah! You're defenently gonna represent the 7th grade!" D.J. adds. "I hope so." I say and get my things for first period. As I walk into class, everyone stares at me. I sit down and get ready for class. As the bell rings an announcement goes off. "If all the class representers for the school will please report to the gym imedently." Our principal says.
I leave and walk down the hallway. My friend, Jake Miller, joins me. "So you made it, huh, Shawn." He says. "Yup." I say as we continue walking. "You ready to face Kerbecs?" He asks, as we open the door to the gym. "Heck yeah!" I say. "I've seen you training!" We walk over to the big stadium, were our principal awaits. There's 3 from each grade. Jake is in the 6th. "Ready?" Our principal asks. We ready our beys as if to say "Yes.". She raises her hand. "3! 2! 1!" I get ready to launch. "GO SHOOT!!!!" We all shout. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. We both team up and smash out an 8th grader's bey. "Yeah!" I shout. I look over to see an odd looking 6th grader. He knocks out a 7th grader's bey.
"Go Eagle!" I shout and Eagle flies into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I start. "TWIN TURBO SMASH!" Eagle sets ablaze and flies down. He smashes all of the beys out except for one. The odd looking 6th grader's. It's a Zero G bey.
"Go! Samurai Orojya!" He shouts. Then I realize. "Jung Peong-Weng?" I ask. He looks up and nods. "I'm back." He says as his Orojya smashes Eagle. I hear the wheel crack. "Eagle!" I shout. I am in for a big battle.

The Big, Bad Battle Royal! Part 2!
I looked over to Jake, who wasn't discouraged. He smiled, cheeklily. "You think I'm out just like that?" He says. "What the..." I say as I look down to see that me and Jung are not the only ones left. In the stadium, 5 Kerbecs appear! "B-But I could have swarn..." I mumble. Jung's Orojya backs away. I look at Jake, who smiles. I look up at Jung's facial expression. Blank. Go figure.
"GO KERBECS!" Jake shouts as 1 of them attacks Eagle. "EAGLE! YOU CAN'T LOSE NOW!" I shout as Eagle gains spin. I feel this weird power rising in me. I look down to see I have a purple-ish aura. "Whoa." I hear Jake say. That's when Jung makes his move. He smashes into the real Kerbecs with an amazing force. It causes a huge explosion. "Jake!" I shout and look over. Jake is struggling to keep his ground. Jung's bey continues attacking with a fierce power. I can hear Kerbecs's wheel crack. "EAGLE!" I shout and Eagle goes after Orojya. As soon as he smashes into him, Orojya blows Eagle back. Orojya continues smashing Kerbecs. Jake is starting to weaken. "I WON'T LET YOU WIN, JUNG!" I shout. "Shawn!" I hear Jake say. "You have to win! For both of us!" I look at him and after a few seconds of thinking, I nod. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle soars into the air.
"SPECIAL MOVE! EAGLE CRUSHING DESTROYER!" I shout. Eagle head straight down for Orojya. "OROJYA!" I hear Jung shout. "OROJYA SPEAR!" He shouts as his bey is surrounded by a whirlpool. Eagle gets caught in the whirlpool. "Eagle!" I shout. Orojya then goes up into the whirlpool and smashes into Eagle, which, in turn, gets thrown out and onto Kerbecs. "Dang this guy is strong." Jake says. "I know right." I respond.
We decide to both attack him at the same time. Doesn't work. "GO EAGLE!" I shout as the power gets stronger. "I have an idea, Jake!" I say. "What is it?" He asks. "We use our special moves together!" I respond. He nods. "Good idea." He says. Our beys start to glow. Jung looks confused. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. "KERBECS!" Jake shouts. Both our beys set on fire. "GO NOW!" We shout together. "DOUBLE SPECIAL MOVE! ACIENT HELLFIRE ASSULT!" Both of our beys shoot towards Orojya with incredible speed. "OROJYA! GO NOW! OROJYA SPEAR!" Jung shouts as Orojya covers itself inside this whirlpool. Our beys smash into the whirlpool. "GOOOOOO!!!!" We both shout as our beys blast away the whirlpool and smash into Orojya, blasting the bey out. "No! Orojya!" Jung shouts and throws his cowboy hat off. "I was gonna win!" He said as he thew a tantrum.
"Jake," I say. "It's just us." He nods."Yep." He says and smiles. Both of our beys are barely spinning. "Eagle!" I shout. "Kerbecs!" He shouts. They both collide. "Go-" We both start, but fall down. Both of the beys stop spinning. A draw. The principal walks over and helps us up. "Well," She starts. "Since it was a draw, and Shawn knocked out more beys then Jake, Shawn is our winner!" I am shocked. I look over to Jake. "You deserved it more, trust me." He says as he gives me a thumbs up. "Thanks buddy." I say as I give him a high five. I can't believe it. I'm going to the championships.

Bladers of the Nation
-The next day-
"I can't believe it!" Taylor says as she hugs me. "You made it to the championships!" She adds. "You did awesome man!" Jake says. "We'll be watching!" D.J. adds. "Thanks guys." I say. "I won't let you down! I promise! I will be on the American team!" I say as I walk off to meet the principal. "Well Shawn." She says. "Are you ready?" She asks. "Yeah!" I respond. We start walking towards the taxi that will take us to the airport.
As soon as we get there, she makes sure I have everything I need. "I have my phone, bey, iPod, camera, clothes, and other stuff." I say as we walk to the plane boarding area. She wishes me luck as I get onto a plane to Washington D.C. for the national battle. I take my seat and take out my iPod. I mess around on Angry Birds for a little while and then eventually fall asleep.
I wake up about 5 minutes before we land. As soon as they land, I gather my stuff and run out of the airport. I have my special I.D. card for the championships. I walk to the hotel, for it's only a block away from the airport. I walk into the door and up to the check-in table. I flash my I.D., and they give me a key to my room. I get in there and fall asleep for the rest of the night.
I wake up at 6 a.m., like normal. I put on clothes, bursh my teeth, eat breafast, and walk down to the training room. I'm the 3rd person there. "hello!" 1 says as his bey smashes through several targets. "Nice job Byxis!" He says as he catches his bey. He's a little shorter than me, with blonde hair, blue eyes. He's wearing a bomber jacket, khaki pants, and a pair of nice shoes. "What's your name?" I ask. "Alfred F. Jones." He responds. "And this is my bey, Phantom Byxis GB145R2F." "Sweet!" I respond.
The other boy walks up. "I'm Karan Brar." He says. "This is my partner, Meteo L-Drago LW105LF." Karan is about my height, with short black hair, and a REAL natural tan. He has a red and orange hat with a yellow L-Drago motif on it, a red sports jacket, a black shirt under it, some black skinny jeans, and a pair of red Jordan's. "What's your name?" He asks. "Shawn Faircloth." I respond and take out Eagle. "This is my bey, Duo Eagle SW145WD." "Cool! Would you like to battle?" Alfred asks. "Sure!" We all run over to the stadium and ready our beys. "3! 2! 1!" I grip my launcher tightly. "GO SHOOT!" We all shout and shoot our beys in. The collide with amazing strength and force. I think I've found the 2 bladers to join me on top.
