Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Primal - Feb. 18, 2012

This is the thread for all general discussion of the Generation III Pokemon games. Here you can discuss anything about the games themselves, from your current team to the in-game characters, and anything in between.

In my Ruby version (which is in my GBA, sitting on my leg), I'm in Slateport City with a Level 21 Marshtomp, Level 19 Ralts, and Level 14 Electrike. I'm trying to do some level grinding for Electrike, but it's not going too well.

In Sapphire, I'm at the Elite 4 with a Swampert, Aggron, Swellow, and some others (can't quite remember them right now). I've done some training in Victory Road and other places, but Phoebe always seems to get me for some reason.

I actually can't find my Emerald version right now, but I had to start the game over because I messed up with the cloning glitch at the Battle Frontier. However, I remember that I started off with Treecko, and I'm in Rustboro City.

RE: Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - sum 472 - Feb. 18, 2012

I've got up to the Elite Four, and can't beat them because I didn't train up my other Pokemon and used them as HM Slaves, my only 'good' pokemon was a level 60 something Swampert, and worst of all, I could not find the Master Ball in Team Magma's Base.
Now to play my hacked Emerald.
On the Elite Four in Ruby, I got up to Glacia where my Swampert had nearly fainted.

In my emerald version I have a lv 91 Rayquaza, a lv87 Swampert, a lv 81 Kyogre and some others( I can't remeber them)

RE: Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Ga' - Feb. 18, 2012

Dammit, why didn't I make a thread for this? XD

In my Ruby, I have a Lv. 41 Blaziken, Lv. 40 Vibrava, Lv. 38 Magneton, Lv. 38 Swellow, and 2 others I can't remember. I'm at 8th gym, replaying for the 7th time (was my first video game ever)

In my Emerald, I have Lv. 60 Swampert, Metagross, Salamence, Aggron, Groudon, Swellow, Breloom, and one other I can remember all completely EV trained. I'm doing the Battle Frontier Challenge, and have all silver symbols.

Ah, these games were so much fun. They have the title 'worst Pokemon games' but that's only relative. They're better than most others, it's just that the other games had more new elements than this generation.

RE: Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Cannon - Feb. 18, 2012

Heck, Emerald is the best Pokemon game ever. I haven't played mine in ages, i think i forgot.. But i think i can remember.. LVL 60: Absol, Manetric, Blaziken, Skarmory, ? , ? .

I also have Ruby & Sapphire, but haven't played in ages, and the batteries are dead. x(

Actually my favourite of all generations. Could be because it's from when I was in about grade 3/4 and played Pokemon the most at that time, but I do enjoy this generation most. The designs were unique without being wild and out there, the game had some cool innovations and is a game I've played many times and enjoyed it each time.

I swear, when I searched that did not come up.

Close this if necessary. Smile

To be honest, why pay attention to the Generation III games? Black and White is the "big cheese" nowadays.

That's like saying we should ignore the plastic, HMS, and Metal System generations completely because MFB and 4D are the 'big cheese', as you put it, now.
