It's so revolutionary that the thought of taking the dead battery version to a game store that can replace it with a new battery seems to have never crossed this person's mind.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Pich - Jun. 01, 2009

Well, that was kinda the whole point of getting a ROM in the first place.

Which completely and utterly defies the point of Pokemon, since YOU CAN'T TRADE.
Seriously, roms for games like this are a joke unless you've got a games download cart for your DS.
Anyway, I'm wondering if they'll have added any new islands to this version, like they did with fire red and leaf green.
I'm guessing they will, since they'll need some kind of new interactivity point between this, diamond, and pearl.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Litrid - Jun. 02, 2009

Yeah they will need new stuff but all I know is that Goldenrod City will be beautiful and I cannot wait to battle Team Rocket in the radio tower.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Assault - Jun. 03, 2009

wow, i've always wanted them to remake the game. This is amazing, can't wait to see what it is like

I loved my Gold version, and I won't be surprised if I fail a college class or two because I'm playing this game instead of taking notes... Confused

Uh... Perhaps you should reevaluate your priorities then. Wink

Well, college is a 4 year investment of multi thousand dollars, no matter what currency it's in. Plus, you aren't guaranteed any sort of return.

Pokemon is a 1 time investment of anywhere from 20 to 50 USD depending on where you go, and you are guaranteed a return in exchange for a few hours of your life.

Easy choice.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Megablader - Jun. 05, 2009

My favourite johto pokemon is Houndoom. Can't wait for this to come out!

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - A.J. - Jun. 05, 2009

My favorite Johto Pokemon.... hmm... Probably Ho-oh. It always intrigued me. Even since the like.. second episode of Pokemon where you see it flying over Kanto and not even the Pokedex knew what it was.

Also, I was joking when I said I might fail a few classes because of the game. Sheesh, you people are so high-strung here. Tongue_out

That's so cool! It reminds me of the Digimon Pendulums.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - theflightyellz - Jun. 08, 2009

They did the same thing with the D-3 as well, had a small pedometer in side which brought up either a random battle, or a new digi-egg.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - To - Jun. 08, 2009

Wasn't there something like that when Gold and Silver were released? It was some Pikachu device or something, and it used the infared port on the GBC, I think.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Litrid - Jun. 08, 2009

oh wow thats cool with that I can bring my Miltank with me anywhere Grin

There was a Pikachu tamagotchi thing, but it had no compatibility with the GBC as far as I know.

it was a Pocket Pikachu, where you got points by walking.
There was a special one for use with the GBC that let you mystery gift presents into Gold/Silver/Crystal.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - theflightyellz - Jun. 08, 2009

Damn, that would have been really useful back in the days of gold and silver, since you could only mystery gift once per day with each GBC. Still never got that surfing Pikachu plush Unhappy
