That's fricken amazing. Really doubt we'll get something like that though. Unhappy

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - To - Jun. 08, 2009

Considering how Nintendo likes to bundle useless peripherals with games, I wouldn't count it out.

I posted that with the intent in my mind that they might actually want to release something useful, doesn't sound like I succeded with that.

dude this could seriously make life easy for me. I hate grinding, but I go running. So not only will I get a good workout, but I shall level them out.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - A.J. - Jun. 09, 2009

I have to agree that being able to walk around with a Pokemon and level them up is quite awesome. This new perhiperal better not jack up the price of this game, though. Anywhere over 40 bucks and I'll pretty upset.

Ah, what can I do... I'll pay whatever I have to to get a copy of Heart Gold. Unhappy I'm just a terrible consumer like that.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Guitar_Legend - Jun. 09, 2009

wait, wasn't there a feature in these games about mystery gifts? or getting a gift daily? i forget
can someone enlighten me

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - A' - Jun. 09, 2009

Lol what are they gonna come up with next? Pokemon Twilight Emerald, Demon Ruby, Ocean Sapphire..
Well I certainly like these games, and I'm looking forward to Soul Silver/ Heart Gold, but maybe they'll continue with remakes.
I was thinking of a new one, Pokemon Cobalt lol.

They'll probably be weak as carp from it though, guessing it'll be the same as daycare pokemon, they won't get EV points, making them pretty much useless :\
Only thing this'll really be REALLY useful for is leveling up Pokemon to get them to evolve for your pokedex.

There was a mystery gift option yeah, but you can only use it with the same person once a day.
So we've got persons 1,2,3 & 4.
1&2 could only connect once, yet both 1 and 2 could still connect with 3 and 4, if that makes sense?

Or better yet, no remakes of that atrocious generation. I love 1st,2nd, and 4th Generation. But the third generation...just doesn't deserve a remake, it was terrible and boring.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Crimson - Jun. 16, 2009

So know how there was the screenshot of Totodile following the main character around?

It's been confirmed that ALL 493 pokemon can follow you.
So if you have a favourite pokemon, you can have it as your follower. Smile

I wish I could have Wailord follow me around, and be size accurate.

also, Boxart:

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Pich - Jun. 16, 2009

They won't remake anymore generations. They only remade these ones because they weren't compatible with the current generations. Once these games are out, you will be able to put a pokemon from any generation onto the newest games (unless you've got the DSi Tongue_out ).
I love how any pokemon can follow you, it's awesome. I did see some pictures on serebii (they may be posted here, IDK) that showed this really ugly grass on the route with the pokemon daycare. Unhappy
EDIT: Perfect timing on that post Crimson, thought you guys would have already known XD

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Bey Brad - Jun. 16, 2009

i want an onyx following me

AND HE BETTER BE TO SCALE

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Pich - Jun. 16, 2009

I wish they were to scale, but they aren't.
http://serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/pics.shtml
Halfway down the page, there is a pic called Gold & Steelix in Ruins Of Alph. Steelix is tiny. XD

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - theflightyellz - Jun. 16, 2009

Come on, you can't seriously expect every Pokemon being the scale, that'd take ages for programmers!
Imagine Wailord, you wouldn't be able to get through towns, let alone grass and hedge mazes ><
"Professor Elm - There's a time and a place for Pokemon, and this isn't it! Your Pokemon is too big to enter this town, come back with a smaller Pokemon later"

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Bey Brad - Jun. 16, 2009

Actually, all of the digivices, save for the Pendelums, had the pedometer inside afterwords. As far as I know, at least.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Th3Jok3r - Jun. 17, 2009

Yay i loved these games since elementary school i'm gonna get this now

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - DriggerDX - Jun. 17, 2009

The original gold and silver were easily my favourite pokemon games of the whole lot!

I loved the pokemon stadium games as well. It's a shame they stopped making them and instead made the rubbish Pokemon Colosseum games instead.

Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii is what you're looking for. And like Stadium, it's still rubbish.

I liked stadium. It was the Colosseum series I hated. I heard about Battle Revolution but by that stage I'd given up with the whole series.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - To - Jun. 17, 2009

Battle Revolution is Stadium for the Wii. And that's not a good thing.

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - Bey Brad - Jun. 17, 2009

to battle revolution is one hundred times worse than pokemon stadium

RE: Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold - To - Jun. 17, 2009

I know it's a carp game. I bought it on launch when the Wii was the only current gen console I owned.

It is Pokemon Stadium though. Both games offer no plot, and have you battle with 3D Pokemon, as well as allowing you to transport Pokemon from the handheld versions.

yes but pokemon stadium is actually fun and had fun extra content (gameboy tower, minigames)
