Pet Peeves - Mickey - Sep. 25, 2011
What are some of your pet peeves that just drive you crazy? Mine are when people tap on my shoulder during the wrong time especially when the teacher is telling a very important instruction. Also, when I'm talking to someone of the opposite gender, people start saying stuff like "_____ is flirting with ____"
or "ooooh make your move!".

Passive Aggressive attitudes. I am talking exclusively face to face situations, not on the internet.
Most pathologically PA people are less up and front about trivial problems, only to make themselves appear level-headed yet while nobody's around, they say things under breath or to close friends that is understandably unacceptable or plain immature.

People being really arrogant or just making a winding post then when proved completely wrong they don't even accept it or apologize. Happens a lot on here. Also my generations general careless and selfish attitude with no morals ingrained into them is really bad too. Also the fact that everyone ignores global warming even though it could kill millions of people through sea level rise alone.

When people smack their lips when they chew or just chew loudly. Oh and when people get drunk out of their minds and puke everywhere its so annoying and really ruins a good time

Another one of mine is mumbling. I'm talking to someone and their just like "Hey Cookies, euffhefufgehgfg". Sure, I mumble sometimes but I'm doing it less often.
Next, rude interruptions is a huge problem. People get it mixed up a lot. There's a difference between joining in a conversation saying "Hey" rather than joining in and saying "Hey" while not letting the group finish their current topic.

When people shake their legs.
For example if I'm sitting in class and the seat across from mine, if they start shaking their legs up and down, mentally I go CRAZY. It's soooo bad too when it's in my peripheral vision.

Lol, I do it in class to relieve test stress. I didn't know that it can bother other people too!

XD, Just had to do that. For me, my biggest pet peeve is when people are hypocritical, and when they think they are always right and don't ask your opinion about something that affects both of you.

Lol after I read this post I started to shake my leg. I do it all the time in class and I got a detention for doing it once because the teacher was just tired of it but I just couldn't help myself.

One thing I find a nuisance is bragging in general; for example at a Basketball game I was at today:
Kid 1: Hey dude, my brother can beat you in bball anyday, take a step bro
Me: Ok?
We play. I make more thank half the shots for our team [Kid 1 is on our team]:
Kid 1: Pfff you didn't make one shot
Me: You under drugs bro?
Later Kid 1 is getting hit by Basketballs.

People who go all HULK when they lose to me on COD, then they start goin off about how much of a sissy i am and that i made my team lose, then all of a sudden i kick their asses. They just cant handle the King of @wesome.... And that shaky leg thing annoys me so much aswell.
