Future New Jersey tournament - FlameLeone2300 - Sep. 16, 2011

Hey guys I was thinking about a tournament that i can host but i need peoples opinions about it first. I wanted to make a tournament like no other tournament and make it a lot more fun. Like instead of having double elimination tournament, i was thinking we should have a team tournament. This is the part i need you guys to decide because if you guys want to do this tournament, I need you guys to decide if you want to choose who is in your team or we choose the team randomly.
Also if i do host this tournament, there will only be three people in a team. Like always it will be $5 dollars with a pass port and $10 dollars with no pass port.
Also if you have a stadium, you can bring that because i need stadium's for the tournament. The tournament will be held maby in Carteret NJ and it might be in October so start traning because you don't know what team you will face.

You can't do official team tournaments. Other than that, there are plenty of New Jersey topics; use an existing one.

What is wrong with doing a team tournament?

RE: Future New Jersey tournament - Sasodo - Sep. 16, 2011

And it's free with passport and 5$ without. I suggest u read the events guide before trying to host a tiurnament

The WBO does NOT sanction team tournaments. You cannot charge a fee if it is not sanctioned.

OK i see people are getting mixed up so let me make it clear.
this tournament you don't need a team. At the tournament i will give people 10-30 minutes to make a group of three. that will be there team and they also make a team name. then i randomly select which team is facing another team. the teams will do one match with the other team. so say team A nd team B battle, The team gets to pick who they want to face and say that team a 2 people wins and 1 person loses, team a advances while team b does not. What ever team is the last team standing, those 3 people in a team now have to do a round robin. who ever gets the most wins is in first place and so on. if we do random teams, we randomly pick three people to be in a team and then the same thing happens. so i hope no one is confuse if so then i will tell you what i mean again.

You do not understand the concept.

Please read the Event Guide. The typical tournament goes as:

1. You come to Venue, then you pay the fee. It is free if you purchase a Blade Passport.
2. You start battling, and so forth.

There are no teams involved, as for now, that format hasn't really been approved.

Plus, you cannot advertise Unofficial Events, that are not WBO Sanctioned.

USE AN EXISTING NJ TOPIC. THERE ARE ALREADY TOO MANY.
