SYNOPSIS:

It has been three decades since the events of Metal Fight Beyblade: Dark Academy.

Raibar Sadi finally lives in peace at the prosperous Tokyo, in seclusion.

The newfound peace has been his reward for his life after the academy's fall.

Things are sworn to be the same by the end of the year, and he begins to open up to the world of Beyblading once more after Raibar's enemies faded with time and will never parade his life again.

The opening Christmas day, citizens- including Raibar- wake up to a strange, comforting church bells at their front door.

Why do they hear this? Is the entire populace waking to them? More importantly- why is there a box from an anonymous research company sitting at their porches? The face of Blading changes dramatically, suspicions rise, and drama unfolds in an unexpected way with this unofficial fanfiction.

Two individuals walk into the round testing bay, while their instructor sitting in the computer and wire cuddled deck activating surround intercom.


"The following is a final test before expedition is assigned. We are testing the artificial spirit's greatest limit of stability. The test will end in three hours, the allotted time respectively. Do you understand?"

The two testers nodded in abidance.

"Do you also understand that there are no windows for miscalculation, that any defect recorded in the first syndicated wave of Beyblade MDS models will result in immediate suspension? If a major portion of the wave has any fatal effect on the owner that it can result in either immediate termination or even indictment?"

More abiding nods answered silently.

"A few inches away from you, there are two squares on the ground, I will open those and a post containing a command panel, a winded launcher, and a micro capsule containing the assembled Beyblade. I will signal when it is time to open the container, grab the launcher, and prepare the launcher in that respective order."


The instructor typed in a long line of commands, synchronizing each tap of a key within half a second to interpret activation and movement for the equipment in an organized, smooth execution. In front of the two testers, the hatch opened and square posts risen. The folded panel rises, opens, and points to the testers direction upright. The posts midsection opened and revealed a dual compartment. Holding a launcher, and a small cylindrical capsule which contains the Beyblade MDS blind spirit tops.


"Testers be of notice, these MDS Beyblade's are running off of unconventional 'blind spirits'. Not applicable for multiple use. So there is only one chance to run the final execution tests accurately. Failure to properly execute can result in massive data corruption, or a severe electrical explosion."


Both of them stayed silent. Waited for the timed instruction to prepare, and both of them in unison grabbed their capsule as the buzzer went off. The MDS was already assembled, relatively dense for such a small size. Both also grabbed the launcher's adjustment segments and pivoted it in a proper angle for firing. Finally attaching their Beyblades onto launchers, walking to the open sides for the stadiums, and getting into proper pose for launching.


"Make sure your launchers are completely still. Do not position it any lower than 80 degrees downward. Press the release hatch on the side when I signal it to GO."


Two cameras lowered and peered down to the stadium. LED signs surrounded the room, obscuring the instructor from their view. All of them activated and displayed the number 3. The two assistants in the command chamber signaled the launching angle as efficient, the Blader's stance as stable, and the automatic Gorilla-glass containments are timed correctly.

3... 2... 1...


"Go. SHOOT." Said the instructor.


The two peers pressed the release switches on their launchers, the Beyblades already slamming down into the compact stadium bowl. A large glass tube lowered down and closed up the arena. The sound was almost completely obscured. A set of dialog appeared on the command panels, letting out a sound of data loading onto a list. Both approach them and read the following timed commands:

1. If the Beyblades do not generate a visible glow, wait three more minutes. [NEXT]
2. The heat field should be below 40 Celsius, if not, terminate energy. [Terminate]
3. Both of the test blades should contact each other after step two (success only)
4. Regain balance by sending the following CString Packet [EMERGENCY ONLY]
5. The stadium collapses in case of unstable responses [EMERGENCY ONLY]
6. Excessive jumping is a normal result of compact design, however; it can be stopped [END]

The leading instructor stood up out of his chair.


"Now, this is the same command menu that we've used for beta month. The command steps 1, 4, and 6 are the only ones going to be applicable."


At this point, the two young researchers stared emptily into the arena, just now feeling the power and the potential. Even through these much weaker Dummy-Tops, the paradigm of A.I. beasts, abominations, wraiths, etc. had ran like steaming adrenaline in their minds. Sweat drops from several analysts, and pride builds within their mentor.

This is the lightest of a dark paradigm.


"Contact every shipping facility. We have Christmas to attend to."

Tokyo is silent in the recurring frost garnishing the windows of many apartments and condominiums. The deep indigo morning sky is patched with segregated star colonies and a semicircular sun still blocked by various business towers and other living areas. Some windows bleached by sunbeams, others still obscured by dying shadows. As usual, the silence gradually breaks with the traffic of everyday businesses. Nothing can stay quiet during the break of dawn, even in a restful holiday the daunting pressure of work stalks individuals. However; the yonder miles began emitting a strange tune- bells of beauty that are a reminescance of church gradually rise and flow throughout the busy streets. Sounds of mysterious origin, implying that they were installed overnight. So far the morning news starting from 5:00 a.m. Had not picked up on the change of alarm. Not that there was a morning alarm ever built for such a theme. Even if it is a different Christmas all the time.

But the bells became louder, gradually. As if they programed the digitized bells to work like a radio alarm. The patterns Ding dong, Ding dong, Dong ding ding dong, dong ding ding dong..... Became a buzzing repetition and still become louder. The sounds of doors opening became audible as groggy people visited their porches or their doorways. All of this seemed pointless when sleeping-in had commenced for thousands. With a miscellaneous package at either their mailbox or front door that will soon change everything.

It is 6:00 A.M. On the spot when Raibar's stiff breath grew deeper as he woke up. The secluded, windowless awkward apartment suite wasn't enough shielding from the bizarre, digitized church bells ringing louder and louder. Every part of the suite is perfectly dark, visibility is near impossible if a wake up light is not installed- which has been a common front-door soliciting trend. 'Here's your chance to finally have suitable light with no harshness to the eyes!' Or the usual 'Keep your wake-ups peaceful with the innovative alarmination flash bulb'. This time the cold is what seeps through. Difference to a morning, finally. Not a great or even unexpected one- no looking through the mouth of a horse this time. Raibar snaps to stiff limbs as he sits up arched over slightly. Holding the switchblade he keeps underneath his pillow.

Raibar grunted under his exhaustion and stood up. He stood in a slightly catatonic position, slightly nodding off between blinks. He slowly risen his arms above hid head, letting out an overly-audible popping sound reminiscent of retracting cartilage. His spine also made tiny crackles as he gotten closer to the light-switch in his pitch dark room. He flipped the switch by the very end with a finger and the light showered the room thoroughly. Raibar squinted his eyes as far as they could while adjusting to the brightness stepping out of the door and into more stretches of darkness. Walking through the small living room he turns on the light using a remote, and immediately walks out his door with the typical caution. The door Raibar uses is a rather socially awkward one. Four different locks and a heavy duty keypad lock. Walking out is a little harder after the huge clunks of metal from his locks. It tends to be embarrassing and adds insult to the emotional paranoia already involved. Raibar opens the door slowly, hearing a screeching sound which implied an object blocking the bottom, or at least attempting to from the looks of a small shadow. Raibar let the door close softly by itself. On the side, slightly scuffed, was a small box. From the looks of it, a titanium box with a slightly brushed finish and a completely flush lid. From the distance between him and the box, it looked like a block of solid aluminum. Raibar picked the slightly scuffed box from the smooth polished wood floor. “Maybe I should be more careful when I open doors...” Is what he thought to himself. Before he glanced at the box in his hand again, he stepped back inside shutting the door in punctual timing. Flipping the light switch to the living room and placing the box on the low-leveled coffee table. Staring at it with skepticism.

“I never celebrate Christmas, but I never ordered this item, to which I'd remember it.”

Nothing seemed right about the packages presentation, it looked so well put together. A brick of metal which is fairly light. But Raibar, as usual, would not open anything if it did not signal as expected to him. Even if someone offered him a box of chocolates randomly, safety came first. But this was definitely the most anonymous package which swooned his interest dramatically. The pressure elevated as he inched his right hand closer to the box, sweat rolled at the edge of his ruffled morning hair. His heart beat as his hand hovers over the lid of the box. Attempting to put his strict alertness aside, he swipes the box quickly onto the couch. “Well it seems safe, so far...” Raibar thought inside.

With the box sitting in his lap, he slides his hand over the lid with painstaking slow motion. With a wide grip, he pulls the lid off in a prudent upward motion, than quickly placing it to the side of his lap. Inside was a thin silk sheet which was vaguely see-through, and he could see a cursive writing through it. Raibair plucked the sheet away and an ivory white envelope sits inside. He stared at the envelope as he lifted it slowly and quickly put the box aside, and on top of the lid. He held the envelope up close to the overhead light to check for any suspicious substances. i.e. Anthrax, rat poison, lye, etc., this is even with bills and rent payments.

The light revealed a half-sized booklet-looking item. Which explains some of the disproportionate thickness to the right. Raibar quickly tears the left side off and pulls out a thick, folded sheet. It looked like a medium-sized leaflet held down by a rubber band. Raibar snapped the rubber band with his finger and unfolded the sheet. Put it to the side on the couch, next to the box. He returned to the box, seeing a smaller container inside. It appeared to have a glossy label embossed onto it saying “OPEN AFTER READING INTRODUCTION GUIDE”. It wasn't atypical for Sadi to pass up prudence. So he set that box into the lid. Inside completely confounded Raibaru, a grip-shaped device with the words “Micro Disk System Adjustable Launcher Grip” embossed was neatly packed in a deep cushioned material. Beside it confirmed this suspicion. There was something resembling a light launcher, only much smaller and had a button to it's side. Without a second glance, Raibaru picked the guide notice and began reading the following disclaimer.

“[[MANUFACTURER PRODUCT CONSENT SUMMARY]]

User-end (NAME: RAIBAR SADI) should be of notice that a five-month final period for testing intelligence entities have taken place. Any interactions between the user-end of the new Beyblade system and individuals working with the {REDACTED} are completely confidential and have no relevance to legalities or product-piracy aggrevations. If this system was sent to you through unethical methods, return it quietly to an outgoing center at a local postal service.”

This all seemed to contradict Raibar's suspicions. He never orders anything even accepts Christmas gifts spammed to him through solicitors. How can any of those object included in the package have any relevance? In a fit of tedious mood, Sadi returned to the package with a disclaimer decal embossed, and opened up the slim container out of order from the directions. Inside was a truly mysterious row of what looked like parts. Components with strange shapes, and almost all of them are round. He scanned the contents and went back into prudence.

“I assume this is an item to be assembled?”

Thing's have become less and less clear. Except this is Beyblade related somehow. The parts inside must result as a top. It only made sense to him, he worked with smaller engineered parts. First thing that came to mind immediately was; it's a small top judging from the small-scale form-factor. From the left to the right he scanned the box of parts. It began with a pair of cylindrical pieces, one that is pointed on the bottom, and another which appears to be completely cylindrical. Next were a pair of coin-shaped objects. The left, there is a metal circle which resembles a kind of bearing, except really strange for the shape it takes. To the right there is a piece of plastic which has a symbol of what looks like a Rhino's profile. That struck a chord with Raibar, this was not an immediate concern. He seen a conical metal spiral which looked like a stem for a basic top, to the right is a gear-shaped ring. A chord, again, this seems to be the creepiest yet non-threatening parcel in years. Though he never thought any different of the manner.

Raibar snatched up the unfolded leaf of swarming text and proceeded to skim through the guide until he ran into a set of visual diagrams. The figures shown what looked like a step-by-step tutorial for assembling the parts. He froze his attention to the ordered visual guide.

“The metal-intertwined part [Metal Spiral] is the body shell, this is the starting point of the construction on the Micro Disk System Beyblade top.
Take the contact ring [Class 2, Cog.] and gently twist it clockwise on the rim of the Body Shell.
The conical metal ingot is the weight source, this goes straight down into the body shell, this is also used to hold the height shaft into place.
The hollow cylinder is the height shaft [Medium Height], This lines with the grooves of the metal weight ingot, and carries the spin point.
The pointed part that resembles an axis is the tip, insert this straight down into the shaft.
Final and most importantly, the locking cap is the graphic-bearing lock to keep the weight, height, and axis parts secure. The locking cap should have a pair of locking teeth which lines inside the female connection on the weight part. Finally pick up the tool and use the clasp end to grip on the open spaces of the trajectory/locking cap.”

Raibar quickly assembled the MDS top according to the order, but carefully enough to escape prudence swiftly, than going back to seclusion. The launcher stills sits in the box with it's grip, hardly touched. He had gotten dressed and left his apartment few minutes later.

He was already a couple blocks away from his apartment. The traffic was already zooming by, and the sidewalks being trampled by the occasional joggers in light athletic jackets. Raibar actually carried the thin box with the fully assembled MDS Beyblade top. The WBBA workshop on the corner, distinguished by a bizarre, large sign with crooked letters spelling out 'WBBA'. Inside the shop is Raibar's right-hand mechanic of the spinning top, Benny. Just Benny, a person who had introduced Raibar to the hidden mechanics of a Beyblades efficiency, worth, and part rarity. He can even tell two identical parts mold variations, and original host Bey it was manufactured with. Most of the time he could tell a Beyblade was just stolen from another individual. Hardly a vigilant discovery talent, charitable more or less. Raibar approached the door to see that it was still unlit inside of the shop. He scanned left to right, left to right, and trying to find signs of movement. A really nervous Benny popped up besides him.

“Hey, hello, Merry Christmas, the lords birthday. Why are you here by yourself?”

He startled Raibar, nearly putting him in first-scenario defense position.

“Oh god, uh, sorry, erm, hello 'B!”

Raibar bowed in apology to Benny.

“I know it's way early and all, and you probably haven't taken your pain killers yet, but I am at a loss at what to do in the back. You might want to get back there and figure something out. I am so confused, been lost at what to do for two-and-a-half hours...”

Raibar nodded in agreement, he walked with Benny to the back of the shop through the wide alley. He turned tight to the inventory dock and saw a rather unusual, and out-of-place trailer. It was completely blank, covered in a steel sheet layering. Inside was what looked like a perfect wall of medium/small boxes. Which could go on and on.

“So, uh, These are packed super tight inside the trailer, I need to get at least twelve out and put them straight into the warehouse. The next dozen can be taken into the main shop area. We will move forward until those boxes are opened and put up into the glass cases and or the rotating stands. I have at least two more hours until everything should at least be of decent inventory.”

Raibar nodded once more and walked towards the trailer and grabbed three boxes. They were small enough and surprisingly light considering what he knew was inside, to the best of his educated outlook. He walked them carefully into the warehouse and placed them neatly onto a wire shelf. Benny placed six more on the row Raibar set down, kind of giving a contrast to his work effort. Raibar took another three and picked up the long box sitting on the bottom of the front stack, after situating the other boxes in a punctual manner. Benny nodded in thanks for taking that box out of the way. It was light, and he placed the box onto the shelfs bottom section. Lighter than the others. All the rest might be completely the same in both shape, weight, and partial compactness. At the end of the first wave of boxes, both Benny and Raibar Sadi went into the shop with three boxes. Carrying their pocketknives, each cut open the restrictive tape with a paced, easy motion. The sight of all those familiar boxes struck Raibar immediately.

“Whoa, what the hell? I swear I had one of these at my doorstep. Are these a safe package, really? Why are there hundreds-”

Raibar was interrupted

“Raibar. Several people, including me, had one of these at our door or mailboxes. Why at the doorstep for you, I have no clue. But save the tinfoil hat stuff alright? Kinda old, with all due respect, for that behavior.”

One thing Benny despised were serious issues before coffee. It was evident the slightly akward-in-the-morning figure Ol' Ben had not had his bitter cup yet. But had he expected these (by whatever standard) MDS Beyblades? His usual quizzical reaction was not what Raibar had anticipated.

“*snaps fingers* Oh, how can I forget Benny. I have this in my pouch here.”

Raibar pulled a compact pouch from his belt and opened it up with the laces. The compact top fell into his palm. He held it towards Benny, showing the Rhinoceros emblem embossed.

“Ah, I presume that's your newer 'Rhinoceros' blade?”

Benny said with interest

“I was actually wondering if you could have a closer look at this. Give me the nitty gritty, if you care to do so.”

He handed the Beyblade over.

Benny pulled out an ultraportable scope from his breastpocket. He placed the top onto a neatly situated microfiber cloth, and cleaned the fingerprints off.

“I am sorry 'bout that, I seriously had no clue what it was completely. All a mystery to me.”

Benny was focused on looking at the trajectory cap of the MDS. Barely moving the scope past the edge. The close up revealed several multicolored reflections of light bouncing off the nanochip-laden metal powder, as if it were pure diamonds.

“Need anymore identification of parts? That'll be forty-five bucks.”

This morning was getting busier, and Benny's change in mood is a sooner-or-later thing. A flood of Beybladers will likely clog the doorways wanting variations of the same question answered. Sometimes it looks thankless and rather stupid. But kids just want to blade and Benny appears to be punctual with his work regardless of intrusive circumstances.

“Sorry if I was bothering, I should really head out, the kids might look at me weird. An old man in a Beyshop, hehe...”

He carefully sneaked on of the boxes into his coat pocket, it was for the best.

“Merry Christmas, god has something special, whatever...”

Later at his apartment, Raibar pulled out the thin box, supposedly another MDS Beyblade. He had no idea why he smuggled it from the shop. A small rush exited out of him, and what it contains interests him. He alleviated the paranoia with concealed objects, for now, and opened it up.
