lol

also TREBLE 09 Smile

i've been saying that barca would win the treble since november last year. i remember people laughed at me when i first said they would lol

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Serotonin - Jun. 05, 2009

In all fairness Barcelona basically walked La Liga, and had been favourites for the Champions League for some time.

yeah i know, but even before they had the 12 point lead to madrid, i was saying they would win the treble

and they weren't favourites in the cl final, united were. they were missing 3/4 of their usual starting defense, Iniesta played with a injury and Henry had just gotten back from a injury

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Serotonin - Jun. 05, 2009

They were favourites for the Champions League in November though.

Delighted United got played off the park though.

lol kaka, ronaldo and robben on the same team..no way that's going to work out..pellegrini will probably try to build alot of the play around kaka, but ronaldo and robben's egos are too big to accept that. watch them become 2nd to barca again Cool besides no player today is worth $130 million usd (+ his 11 million dollars per year salary)

the worst part is that they're not even done yet, they're trying to get David Villa too

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Agitation - Jun. 15, 2009

Whoosh Real have a really good strike force for next season Smile

I don't think anything will change concerning Ronaldo's attitude, he's become a glory player with aberrant teamwork. Rooney had to continuously change positions in the game against Barca because of him and I read about his tantrum about being taken off early in a recent game. I wonder what his future team will think of him because United are glad to see the back of him.

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Serotonin - Jun. 15, 2009

Kaka and Ronaldo are totally antithetical in terms of attitute anyway; Kaka the religious, modest man versus Ronaldo the flamboyant and extravagant crybaby.

I can't see the rest of Real Madrid being too happy, but at least they've bought well. Undoubtedly will have the best strike force on paper, just can't wait to see how it all pans out. How they'll actually play is a completely different matter.

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Th3Jok3r - Jun. 20, 2009

My favorite football team id chicago bears but if you mean soccer it would be NY Red Bull

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Maz - Jun. 22, 2009

OMG USA DID IT

USA lost to Brazil and Italy in its confederations cup block matches and to move on out of the block we had to beat Egypt by 3 and Italy had to lose by three and it actually happened. USA and Brazil got out of the block, Italy did not move on. Im so happy

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Finch - Jun. 22, 2009

Sunderland. And for the first time in pretty much ever, we're a league above the mags!

No hard feelings guys Tongue_out

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Sega - Jun. 22, 2009

Went to the World Cup qualifying match against Japan, we already made in into the World Cup so the game was pretty much pointless, managed to beat Japan 2-1 Grin

Alot of pressure on us to do better next year, Soccer will be in a massive boom period again next year, I really think the A-League will gain massive popularity and may even knock off our top Sport league, the AFL ( Aussie Rules football ).

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Maz - Jun. 24, 2009

USA 2 - 0 Spain
Gasp

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - McMongol - Jun. 25, 2009

damn, i didn't know we were in the twilight zone

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Maz - Jun. 25, 2009

Were not USA got game.

Tim Howard showed that the only thing quicker than the Spanish striker’s predatory tendencies was the American keeper’s defensive reflexes.

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Aqua - Jun. 29, 2009

Nice! Brazil won the Confederation Cup 3-2 against the USA. It was a pretty good match. I was surprised when the USA dominated in the first half leading 2-0 but Brazil eventually came around in the second half.

Brazil has always been one of my fav. teams Smile

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - MuchWow - Jul. 05, 2009

i was surprised most by Egypt! they beat Italy! now that wasnt expected..

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - MuchWow - Jul. 30, 2009

my team, al ittihad had their match with real madrid. it ended 1-1. it was in the peace cup.
very good game for the saudi team Smile

RE: Your Favorite Soccer/Football Team ??? - Giga - Jul. 30, 2009

Smile Well done, Al Ittihad. Nottingham Forest played yesterday, 1-1 draw with Stoke, and then we have one more preseason match on Saturday and we play Reading in the first game of the season. On the downside, the new shirt looks pretty bad, lol.
