Just uploaded these to dA so I thought I'd show you guys too. I don't like making whole threads for one piece of the art because I don't want people to think I'm arrogant or something but this is three pieces and I'm kinda proud of them so I think they deserve their own thread. ^w^ Basically this is what I did for my final piece for my mock GCSE's. For anyone who doesn't know what that means, GCSE's are what your everything from the ages of 11-16 leads up to. Mocks are a trial run through about half a year before to see what your predictive grades will be. Anyways, my project was cats so for my final piece I did three detailed drawings of some cats sleeping. And I thought they turned out quite well (though because my scanners scans things lightly, you can't see all of the details). My least favourite is the last one because that is my own cat rather than someone else's and it has stupid markings and sleeps in a retarded position. XD Anyways, sorry if you read all that. ^^; Here are the pics.

As said they are all great,
but the first one is really really great as the shading and details are so close to looking like a photo/trace

Digitally colour the scans. You should keep the pencil texture, that gives a lot of character to the art.

My knowledge of colouring things on the computer ends at MSPaint. XD
