It is not because you are a Moderator that you are an Advanced Member. It is also not because you are an Advanced Member that you have the abilities to be a Moderator. Those are two entirely different concepts.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Janstarblast - Oct. 31, 2011

I just realized that I got a passport face... Smile
So, I wanted to ask-
For how much time would the passport be valid? I know its one year, but what would be considered as the first day of the passport?
Will it be 29th October (the day of the tourney) or 31st October (the day I received the passport face)?

Sorry if this required a simple search...

RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Oct. 31, 2011

Does the committee have the ability to remove Faces from an account?

It depends what is written in the description of your Passport Face. If it is just written : "Has a Blader Passport", then refer to the date that is automatically attributed by the board. If there is a date written after "Has a Blader Passport - (date)", then use that date.

Yes, like a DJ Face.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Janstarblast - Oct. 31, 2011

No, there's no date written. So, what date is usually attributed by the board?

Look on the right ...

RE: Questions about the WBO - MetalStrike - Oct. 31, 2011

Bold username in Postbits looks ugly.

Is that an experiment?

RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Oct. 31, 2011

It looks totally professional and OK. What are you talking about ?

RE: Questions about the WBO - MetalStrike - Oct. 31, 2011

It was sleeker before.

It's fine, just my opinion.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Oct. 31, 2011

How "before" ? It was always like that ...

RE: Questions about the WBO - MetalStrike - Oct. 31, 2011

I don't if this just a misunderstand but the usernames in the Postbit weren't in Bold until today (I just noticed).

Probably my OS..

RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Oct. 31, 2011

For sure I can tell you that neither I nor anybody else on the staff touched anything on the layout.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Nov. 02, 2011

Just a thought: If Kai-V makes the stub Beywiki articles for the new releases, that would kind of defeat the purpose of the Lapiz Lazuli Face, amirite? I'm sure she's great with writing articles, but I'm also sure some people (BBS, Ray Joker, etc.) would like the ability to get the Face.

I dont think so. The stub can be written by an experienced editor like Kai-V quickly, but managing the full edit is a lot of work. Doing that well, repeatedly, appears to be the activity that is rewarded with the Lapus face. Quick hits on stubs may seem like a potential shortcut to the face, but I wouldn't imagine that the committee would see it that way.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Shabalabadoo - Nov. 02, 2011

Think of it this way:

She puts the facts, or solid information or whatever you want to call it.

The writer puts the rest. The stuff that involves testing and actually tells how good it is.

You probably already knew that, but this allows the people writing the draft to have proper structure, less for Kei to go over, which means that the article can go on faster, leaving opportunity for more drafts. More drafts means more opportunity for lapis lazuli

Edit: destroyed.

You could use someone else's Paypal account (with permission) and then pay them back in cash. This is what I do with my dad's account.

Hm, only one other person reported this to me. I do not know what you and him have in common, but for sure it never happens to me.

Well, in that case, i think all previous mods should have special rank, for the help they did with this website ?

RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Nov. 03, 2011

Faces exist for that ...

RE: Questions about the WBO - Novae Rog - Nov. 03, 2011

I think there's something wrong with the BeyRanks, it says the points were updated but the rank positions haven't moved. Is this meant to happen for now?
