RE: Questions about the WBO - Glad Hatter - Oct. 05, 2011 Anything placed onto your account by a mod cannot be transferred, unless u are of the utmost importance to them. EDIT: I must be carrying far outdated information ^^. Faces can be traded, but as far as I am aware, not given. You can give people faces from faceboosters but you cannot give them any other kind of face. RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Oct. 05, 2011 Faces can be traded. To be given without anything going to you in exchange, usually they have to be from donations, because you would basically just be donating in the name of someone else, which is totally common in this world. You could not just give someone a Face that is not from the Face Boosters BLACK or WHITE though. RE: Questions about the WBO - Odin - Oct. 06, 2011 (Oct. 05, 2011 1:48 AM)Kai-V Wrote:(Oct. 05, 2011 1:43 AM)Kaiba Hiwatari Wrote: Is there any way for mods/admins to see what a post said before it was edited? The thought just occured to me. Actually, there is. There is a plugin called Edit History Log that allows Moderators and Administrators to view all changes made to posts. RE: Questions about the WBO - Mickey - Oct. 06, 2011 This might be an obvious question, but, how do you quote several people? RE: Questions about the WBO - Shabalabadoo - Oct. 06, 2011 (Oct. 06, 2011 2:05 AM)Cookies^^ Wrote: This might be an obvious question, but, how do you quote several people? The same way you would normally quote a post: Code: [quote=person one] person one Wrote:Shabalabadoo is cool person two Wrote:Shabalabadoo is cool RE: Questions about the WBO - Deikailo - Oct. 06, 2011 Amethyst Face Wrote:Those who prove they have advanced knowledge of Beyblade shall receive this Face. Shouldn't all advanced members have the Amethyst Face if this is the case? RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Oct. 06, 2011 (Oct. 06, 2011 2:15 AM)Deikailo Wrote:Amethyst Face Wrote:Those who prove they have advanced knowledge of Beyblade shall receive this Face. Not to shoot Advanced Members down or anything, but... I believe that face is handed out to people who are confirmed to be knowledgable on their own and prone to providing valuable information to others. Many do fit that bill, but not all of us. I know I certainly do not qualify in that regard. I do not have tournament experience, I'm rarely the first(or even among the first) to test new parts/provide new information, etc. Seems like it's just a wording misnomer. RE: Questions about the WBO - Deikailo - Oct. 06, 2011 But everyone that has that face is an advanced member anyway. Outside of that, there really is no criteria on what merits that face. Also, that face has not been handed out in a year. Just because you don't have access to all the newest parts and live in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean you aren't able to prove yourself in other ways. Aside from that, I think if you qualified to get italics that says you're advanced, that should mean that you have proven yourself as advanced, amirite? If you in some way did not prove yourself, then that would imply that the committee is just randomly making names italic without evidence of work toward being advanced, which is far from true despite our conspiracy theories. Stop being so modest, mang. RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Oct. 06, 2011 It is really unfortunate that the criteria for most things are just not something that can be put in words, really, but we have always seen the "Advanced" state as being easier to get than the Amethyst Face. It is like the rectangle-square relation : all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares. If someone has the Amethyst Face, they will necessarily also be an Advanced Member, but all Advanced Members do not necessarily have the Amethyst Face. RE: Questions about the WBO - Deikailo - Oct. 06, 2011 So what you're saying is Amethyst Face = Super Saiyan Advanced Member? Shouldn't Dan get it then? I can't tell you how much his weak launch has helped me win matches. That alone is amazing. RE: Questions about the WBO - Chups - Oct. 06, 2011 I second that. Dan is a legend. RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Oct. 06, 2011 Thirded. I understand that there are other deserving Advanced Members, but Dan IMO is on top. RE: Questions about the WBO - Arupaeo - Oct. 06, 2011 (Oct. 06, 2011 2:05 AM)Cookies^^ Wrote: This might be an obvious question, but, how do you quote several people? Between the "quote" button And the "report" button, there is a tiny icon. This icon stores the quote from the post if you click on it. Click on the tiny icon in multiple posts, then when you make a new post it automatically drops the quotes from the multiple posts you clicked into your new post. It is a new feature that came from the upgrade of MyBB. Oh wow! Really?! I never really knew that! Whenever I wanted to quote multiple posts, I used to quote one, and copy paste it into my Reply page. For this, I had to keep 2 tabs open simultaneously. Thanks Arupaeo. The ongoing conversation- Well, Dan has been amazing, seriously. I cannot say much about how his contributions helped in tourneys and stuff, but his posts always seemed to be helpful. RE: Questions about the WBO - Giga-Impact - Oct. 07, 2011 Are we allowed to make role playing threads? I've put on my adress, state, country and even POSTCODE!!! What am I forgetting?! RE: Questions about the WBO - RustyXD - Oct. 07, 2011 There is a problem with the map , it doesn't work. RE: Questions about the WBO - TJ+Leone - Oct. 09, 2011 hey does anyone know how to send a proposal so i can have a tournament? RE: Questions about the WBO - Poseidon - Oct. 09, 2011 (Oct. 09, 2011 6:25 PM)TJ+Leone Wrote: hey does anyone know how to send a proposal so i can have a tournament? You have to have a WBO legal staduim, 8 partcipents, and you have to host it, and have to be able to send the entree fees ect to the WBO. RE: Questions about the WBO - Pony - Oct. 10, 2011 I know this is an obvious question, but how do you get a face booster? I forgot RE: Questions about the WBO - Shabalabadoo - Oct. 10, 2011 There's a good number of Drafts in the BeyWiki Project Forum that are done and need Kei to check over it and ones that have been lost into later pages (and many people that think their drafts are ready that post "WAITING APPROVAL" in the title, but their draft sucks, but that's beside the point). I honestly have no clue how this could be answered, especially for Kei's sake, but how in the world can we make it easier and more productive? Not productive in the sense of writing drafts, but productive in the sense that the many Drafts actually make it to BeyWiki. |
