Air Gear - Tototototototo - Nov. 02, 2007 This manga is SO COOL. There are a number of reasons you should read it. For one, it's stylish. The character designs are great, and it's just got its own style. Secondly, the art is amazing for a weekly series. Oh!Great may have started out as a porno artist, but it's led to him being able to understand the human anatomy well enough to the point at which he can make everything look good. Finally, it's just really really cool. Read it now. RE: Air Gear - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 I've read the first two chapters and honestly I thought it was totally ridiculous. I must be a tool. lol RE: Air Gear - Tototototototo - Nov. 02, 2007 No, it's pretty ridiculous. I actually read the first fifteen chapters and stopped reading for over a year. I recently picked up after chapter 16 and kept going on. The Behemoth arc is where things really start moving, and then the story gets good. It's just a lot of fun. RE: Air Gear - Nic - Nov. 02, 2007 The story often seems to be going nowhere definite though =\ RE: Air Gear - Tototototototo - Nov. 02, 2007 With the big twist that occurred in the Trophaeum Tower, it's leading somewhere cool. Although this current arc is just to get that chick back onto the good side. RE: Air Gear - SexyMichael - Nov. 02, 2007 Great concept. Makes you wish ATs existed. RE: Air Gear - Kei - Nov. 02, 2007 I've seen a number of episodes from the anime (the first 17, I think) and thought it was pretty interesting! Is the manga better than the anime or vice-versa? RE: Air Gear - Fleetscut - Nov. 02, 2007 i got interested in air gear when i was looking for new manga to start at a convention once. i picked up two volumes and i enjoyed it. i watched the anime as well and it was decently good. the manga is kinda random at times buts it s a pretty interesting story and concept RE: Air Gear - Tototototototo - Nov. 02, 2007 The manga's art is better than the anime's, actually. The anime's quality becomes crappy pretty quickly... RE: Air Gear - Fleetscut - Nov. 02, 2007 ya, though most anime are like that though because they start to go more over budget as time goes on. im still trying to work my way through the manga, theres what 14 volumes and still goin? RE: Air Gear - Carina - Nov. 02, 2007 I love Air Gear. I'm a bit behind on releases tho... a few chapters I think? I've only got raws right now... RE: Air Gear - Cye Kinomiya - Nov. 02, 2007 I love it SOO much, but I don't have time to read it. Although extremely dangerous, who wouldn't want to aim for the skies? RE: Air Gear - Katashi - Nov. 03, 2007 Never been arsed to watch it. Personally, it doesn't seem to appeal to me. Then again, I watched three seasons of an anime about spinning tops and two seasons of a show about children's card games, so I should give it a try at some point. RE: Air Gear - Carina - Nov. 03, 2007 Mr. Toto Wrote:you and your damn yo-yos A step towards real Air Treks? I seriously want them to develop these more. *____*; RE: Air Gear - Nic - Nov. 03, 2007 Mr. Toto Wrote:you and your damn yo-yos Sure as hell not me, unless I've got really good insurance. I want to be a fighter pilot, and if I can't, I'd definitely want these to be closer to the sky. It makes me mad that no skate shop near me has the parts to fix my skates. I'm confused about some things though. I'm up to chapter 163. Whats with Sora and Nike? Sora can walk? Who exactly was the bad guy when Sora and Kilik fought? If Sora is in a relationship with Rika, and he is part of Genesis, why are Ringo and her sisters part of Sleeping Forest? Also, Wind Regalia ftw. RE: Air Gear - Bey Brad - Mar. 27, 2008 Cye Kinomiya Wrote:Okay, so I am reading the manga and it is freaking great.
