Who cares what they do to their ears? It's their body, and personally, I love knowing that when they get older there will be a good chance they will regret such retarded decisions.

This is why I don't tattoo myself and have piercings that are easy to remove and not leave huge scars.
Only one that has was my lip because I got punched in the mouth while I had it and it tore.
that and why don't you have it covered over? Cover jobs come out nicely if they're done by a good tattooist.

They also reject/migrate very easily/quickly.
And since people put ribbons through them, one catch and RIP.
That happens with every piercing I know, but moreso with surface ones because they're generally in stupid places.

Yeah =/ I dont think I would ever want to get a Corest one due to that factor.
Lips ones really arent to had and the ears, but I would never get my tounge or nose done.
Everyone says your nose is one of the most painful ones to @_@

Nose was my first piercing, It makes your eyes water (Because it's your nose), but otherwise it doesn't hurt at all.
and Tongue piercings are over before you know it. They don't hurt much either.
To be honest a Scaffold/Industrial (A bar you can have in the top of your ear, basically connecting an ear rim piercing and a helix piercing, or sometimes people have them going vertically so it goes through your ear rim and top of your lobe) hurt more than the two of those, made my eyes water, bled like carp, and made me go "OWWWW!"

Although I agree that silver looks good (while I would have platinum for anything truly long term because silver tarnishes).
I like red garnets, funnily enough they're my birthstone too. =D

If really do have your heart so set on a diamond, get a Canadian one (they have little polar bears laser'd on them) or one made in a lab.
Only people who are extremely familiar with diamonds can tell the lab made ones from the naturally formed ones, and Canadian diamonds are just a more responsible buy.

I said people can buy them if they want. I did not say that the way such an industry works is correct. =/
I personally probably wouldn't buy diamonds but that's just me. I prefer other stones anyways, they're just cooler. I like hematite (the mineral form of iron oxide).
When polished it looks really awesome.

Hematite breaks so easily. Aspecially if exposed to a sharp, hard blow.
