RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Ultra - Aug. 15, 2011

Yeah I was thinking about that. I'm gonna make some changes later.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Blitz Unicorno - Aug. 15, 2011

For that matter, Earth mold 2 should be Tier 2 in defense now.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Venumelion - Aug. 15, 2011

In my opinion, Meteo L-Drago should be second-tier and Big Bang should be top-tier. F: D, I think, should have a mention for Attack as it outlasts opposing attack combinations and knocks them out when they are at a low rpm number.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Glowfire1 - Aug. 15, 2011

yeah I think too that big bang must be top tier and now a question from me , why always people think taht through leftspinning the beys are good? that´s not right, vari ares is top tier and it has enough tests you know!!!
gravity will be outclassed by vari ares, mld is outclassed bye his little weight, and ldd is now top tier it´s better than mld , hell shpould be even top tier because his smashforce is enough
and blitz has now enough tests I think and it´s top tier he has a big smashforce very big

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Ultra - Aug. 15, 2011

Big Bang is not top tier worthy. Maybe because all the left spin wheels are good.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - H8R - Aug. 15, 2011

so what do you guys say about Ldrago destroy for attack and scythe along with EDS for stamina????

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Ultra - Aug. 15, 2011

Okay about to make some changes. Doing this first to see if anyone disagrees. Here they are:

LDD to tier 1 attack.
VariAres to tier 1 attack.
Scythe to tier 1 stamina.
Earth and Burn to tier 2 stamina.
EDS to tier 1 stamina.

Also some things i'm sure about:

Does MLD belong in tier 1 anymore?
Should Earth be moved down to tier 2 for defence?
Should W2D go in tier 1 stamina?

1: I think MLD should get some more time there but when MF LDD CH120XF proves to Be a better attacker and spin stealer then remove MLD as LDD will have replaced it

2: YES and consider scythe for tier 1 or 2
3: Yes it seams parallel to WD

what about EWD???? seems to do quite well with Basalt and hell BD145

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Raigeko13 - Aug. 16, 2011

1. Does MLD belong in tier 1 anymore?
I haven't ever used one, but it seems to be less useful each time a new bey is released. I'd consider it.

2. Should Earth be moved down to tier 2 for defence?
Hmm, yes, I think so.

3. Should W2D go in tier 1 stamina?
No, IMO.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - BeybladeStation - Aug. 16, 2011

1. Yes, put it up H8R IS WRONG...
2. Yes, put it up!
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. Yes.

Just do it Ultrablader, please.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - BeyCenter - Aug. 16, 2011

I'll put my thought into it too.

1: Well yes, meteo does. I just got it and it is amazing it still deserves Top Tier 1.

2: Earth really doesn't belong in one, Top Tier two is what it should be in.

3: W2D, I honestly don't know cuz I don't have it. But from what I've heard/read about it, tI'm just gonna say, yes.

EDIT: H8R
He wasn't considering it, he already putting Scythe in there.

LDD to tier 1 attack. Yes
VariAres to tier 1 attack. IMHO there isn't enough testing done , but I am not against it.
Scythe to tier 1 stamina. Yes
Earth and Burn to tier 2 stamina. Yes
EDS to tier 1 stamina. Yes

Also some things i'm sure about:

Does MLD belong in tier 1 anymore? Take it down
Should Earth be moved down to tier 2 for defence? Take it down
Should W2D go in tier 1 stamina? No it should not be , I have it and it seems to off balanced to me.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Dan - Aug. 16, 2011

LDD: fine.
VariAres: Perhaps some more testing.
Scythe: Obviously, though, you should probably keep it as Kronos (free moving)
Earth: No, its low recoil is a gimmick of its own. It still deserves a spot.
Burn: Knock that carp down bro.
EDS: Obv.

MLD: Why don't we have a spin-stealer subsection? I think its still good, meh.
Earth (Defense): Down
W2D: Should be equal to WD.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - RustyXD - Aug. 16, 2011

About W2D i think it is unreliable I would use any other D series tip over it. I don't think it should be tier 1.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Dan - Aug. 16, 2011

Okay then provide some tests of it versus any and all D series tips you have.
TBH this thread is becoming more and more based on hearsay. (enough of the same hearsay for something to be put through, nonetheless.)

I've often found myself asking "What was this thread made for?". Could you tell me, UltraBlader?
It isn't necessarily in tip-top shape, now is it? (LRF, MF, and Screw are all still listed as 'need more testing')
What is this thread doing that the Competitive Combo List doesn't already do, except add a couple more tiers for less useful parts. Is this to be 'The Island of Misfit Toys' of the WBO?
Just asking, not taking shots.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - RustyXD - Aug. 16, 2011

Yeah I may get on that tomorrow ill see how I go , do you have W2D? it just seems off balanced to me , its like EWD but with less life after death.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - H8R - Aug. 16, 2011

@BBS how Am I wrong I said what you said?????
well I said more stuff
Dan Honestly I agree with you but over here people have more opinions and there are more combos I mean ALL of us have the mind to tell the veterans what to add but we cant and that pisses me off so I chose this thread so I can contribute just a bit

(Aug. 16, 2011  11:29 AM)Dan Wrote: MLD: Why don't we have a spin-stealer subsection? I think its still good, meh.

maybe put meteo as a equalizer attacker? because all the other attackers are smash yet meteo still gets good results for attack

(it is kinda like how in the plastics there was smash/spike attack, and then upper attack. MFB has smash attack, then equalizer attack)

for tier one attack: the only wheel that should be removed is hell, but even then hell still does good. i think tier 1.5 would be best for hell. all other wheels in tier one attack can stay. wheels such as ldrago destroy and veriares should be added

tier one defence: earth just doesn't stand up to the other wheels in it anymore (except hell without BD145). though it has the least recoil, the other wheels have weight

tier one stamina: burn has way to much recoil nowadays, drop it, earth is more of a tier 1.5 IMO. no idea about virgo. sycthe replaces burn

I completely agree with you. But, things will get rather confusing if we make Tier 1.5 and all. Plus, the spin steal tier will also be confusing... If you are saying that we must do this-
LLD(Smash)
Meteo (equalizer) etc.
Then the idea is good. Smile

by tier 1.5 i mean: better then tier 2 for sure, but just a bit off from being tier one, either tier is fine

that is a good idea to do it like that. i agree

It's a tier list. Why would anyone make a tier list? because it's useful(maybe not in this thread's case, not too sure). Anyway it's meant to be a resource which has the parts used in the three types listed in terms of performance. I made it just cause there is nothing similar to this on the site. Noobs will find it a lot more useful than the more experienced members i'm sure. If you hadn't noticed the top tier combo thread has been out of date for ages...

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - RustyXD - Aug. 16, 2011

Dan I'll post a video if WD vs W2D ect. later in the day.

I think we should have a balance and spin equalizer tier or maybe merge them together?

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - H8R - Aug. 16, 2011

just did some formal testing: Standard procedures ,BOTH HELL 3 MINUTE MOLDS (i have a 4 minute mold but only one...)

MF Hell Kerbecs BD145WD VS MF Hell Kerbecs BD145W2D:
MF Hell Kerbecs BD145WD:6 (3 OS,3 KO's)
MF Hell Kerbecs BD145W2D:4 (1 KO, 3 outspins)
seems its pretty good but the only reason WD won was because of the last KO

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - OnePiece - Aug. 17, 2011

im confused in stamina tier 1 it is stated that hell is only top tier with BD145 boost mode, but it isn't in defence is BD145 boost mode required for defence to be tier 1?

you mean like a borderline tier

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 16/07/11 - Raigeko13 - Aug. 17, 2011

Yerp it is. Boost mode is MUCH more useful than non boost mode Tongue_out
