Nice going Brad, it looked nice in those pictures and I know, they weren't what you did. XD

I never seem to have any kind of fancy or new food. It's always the same old boring stuff. Unhappy

Then try something new...

RE: Cooking Thread: your "i cant cook" jokes aren't clever - Zander Soulwind - Jun. 06, 2009

Of course I will, once I am in charge of buying my own food. Unfortunately, I have to put up with what they get which is normally cheap and rubbish.

Come to think of it, I haven't cooked anything for a long time. :\

I took some pictures of what I made, I'll post pics later ...

Was going to ask, but then again it would have been weird with guests.

Ahh, we're making risotto and chicken for lunch ...

Basically the italian version of what I made last night. LOL

I make a good potato bake, and I make the best fry up I know, but other than that I'm pretty useless...
Need to start trying to cook more, if I have to even look at another microwave meal I'll go mental Tired

I am Indian....

I have a little dish I call BS. Nothing special, but the way I season it makes it so good when friends come over night, I make it in the morning.

Scramble some eggs, chop ham, add green peps and onions. Season with Tapatio hot sauce, Sriracha if you got it, and add very little milk. Let cook as if it was an omlet, then scramble at last second.

Meanwhile, prepare white rice. Nothing special about it.

Then, bowls.

Layer as such

Fresh Cracked Rock Salt and Pepper
Cheddar and Motzerella cheeze (I can't spell today)
Egg mix
Rice

Sounds really simple, but you'd be surprised.

I also can make reaaaaly good grill meats. Tongue_out

Because when my friend asked me what I called it, I was like, "I dunno, it's some sort of BS."
It stuck.

Yessss. Best of all, very few of their recipes incorporate cheese. <3

My mother has a lot of Indian friends so I'd go to all of the Indian gatherings with her because of the food. *__* So hard to find out here. I've been dying for some bhel puri. D:

When I move to Brooklyn, I'm going to learn how to cook Indian food because I'll have access to fresh chutneys. Joyful_2

RE: Cooking Thread: your "i cant cook" jokes aren't clever - fragbait - Jun. 10, 2009

I've never tried indian food. I want to.

Steaming some pork dumplings right now. I added basil to the water for extra flavour/fragrance. Smile

RE: Cooking Thread: your "i cant cook" jokes aren't clever - fragbait - Jun. 15, 2009

Made S'mores last night.

For anyone who doesn't know, you roast a Marshmellow, then, you put it on 1/2 a ghram cracker with a chunk of a chocolate bar. Then, top it off with another 1/2 ghram.

Had like 6 of these, so good. Tongue_out
