i also saw them in the gh2 setlist, i'll have to pick that up too, does the gh3 guitar work in gh2? i'm pretty sure it does but yeah just making sure.

I'm pretty sure. And yes, the GH2 setlist is pretty fun. I'd like to go back and play, considering I sucked even on Easy mode.

the only guitar hero i have played is the gh3 demo with a controller
but yeah ill have to pick up 2, 3, and rock band
what the carp i am going to be broke.

I remember when I first got GH2 on 360 I started off on Medium and cleared the whole career with little to no trouble.
Then I turned it up to hard and the first 5 songs, especially the solo bit on Woman by Wolfmother, carp raped me. I couldn't beat it for the life of me.
But now I play through it on hard and laugh at myself. lol

there is no career mode on the demo
what do you have to do to "pass" a song? the same thing as in quick play? because if thats the case i could do all of medium.
and is it possible that gh3 is harder for newbies?

Well to pass really you just have to keep your "Rock" meter from dropping to zero.
And yes, I'd say without a doubt GH3 is harder for newbs.

I bought GH3 for PS2 last week.
I actually bought it before I even tried it out, but I knew i'd like it anyway.
I'm trying to 5-star all the songs on medium before moving up to hard...after reading this thread, it sounds like I won't want to go back to medium ever again.
This game also introduced me to a bunch of songs that I'm now learning on actual guitar now, which is a big plus. It's kind of hard switching between the two though. :\
