Anyone Willing To Test A Combo? - Feitan - Jun. 16, 2024

Is anyone able to test out Viper Tail 5-70N combo? Unfortunately I don't have the necessary parts just yet and am wondering how good it is.

Sure, what exactly are you looking for in terms of performance?

I more or less just want to see how good it is in battle and how it compares to other combos that have been tested and confirmed to be good.

Thank you SO MUCH for doing these tests man, I really do appreciate it, you're great. Looks like this build is fairly solid ngl.

If you were wanting to do more tests, you could always try Wizard Rod 5-80A, though I get it takes a substantial amount of time and completely understand if you don't want to XD

Idk man 26-30% win rate does seem too good
:-: it only got 60% against quake 😬

And it really only did so well because of 4-80, if I went lower or used a different shape, things would’ve been way worse. Not to bash or anything lol.

Unfortunately I lost my A, pretty useless part tbh. But I’d be happy to do any more test since I don’t have much to do in my personal life anyway.

RE: Anyone Willing To Test A Combo? - ItzAmareY2K - Jun. 17, 2024

Just use ViperTail (5-60) or (3-60) Taper
It great in attack but also provide Stamina for a afterburner

I said solid not good xD. It works to a degree, and I'm happy with it because it's my first customisation. Of course other tested builds will obliterate it, but 20% win rate makes me happy for my first time

Alright, how about Wizard Rod 5-80LF? :3

I’ll try. This is supposed to be for anti attack, right?

I'm more trying to find a balance of being able to negate hits while also being able to dish them out. For a more defensive bey I'd maybe say Knight Lance 4-60H

If you want aggressive wizrod, WizardRod 1 or 3-60 Rush. We call it bumpercar, it's very fun

The Best driver for wizard rod besides any stamina/defense bit (ex: ball or Hexa) is Point. TheRougeBlader proved that today

W. I am the point master.

If you don't mind me putting my input in, a possible upgrade for this combo could be 5-60 or 9-60 HN to give it more stamina and slightly more burst resistance. Overall, a nice and creative combo 👍

As I am quite new to Beyblade X, when making combos I was mostly looking at statistics provided by the manufacturer, to see which has higher rating of stats. I've realised a few things are actually quite inaccurate with the way they've been rated. I've been coming up with new combos that are more based on physics such as the way friction is affected by specific tips and weight distribution. For example, I believe Knight Lance 3-60H would be a good defence type. The 3 protrusions will aide in counter attack smashes on the heavy parts of the blade, 60 height to prevent being struck from below and Hexa because its wide shape allows for good stability while also having a low contact area, meaning less aggressive movement causing good stamina. It's unfortunate I don't have the parts to test it, so everything is just theory for now Unhappy

Yea I can see where the TT stats would mislead you, testing irl is always the best way to see how certain parts perform. Anways, that sounds like a pretty good defensive combo I've never rlly thought of. I'm willing to try it out for you and record the results and share them with you when Hasbro's Knight Lance releases (or I buy TT's before then) if it is fine with you.

Heck yeah man, I'd love to see it be tested! Thanks so much Smile

RE: Anyone Willing To Test A Combo? - Shaady - Aug. 10, 2024

No stats written on a beyblade box are ever relevant, Takara Tomy have little to no idea how the parts are going to respond in a competitive environment (or half the time just in general) as has been clearly evident in 4 generations of beyblade. Hasbro is 1000 times worse!
