RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - Wagalashi - Oct. 13, 2010

lol i can understand that Stupid

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - DaijoubuQuest - Oct. 13, 2010

November the 13th sounds good. We definitely look forward to this event.

As far as this being WBO certified, it isn't entirely necessary, but as RTP said, we can handle all those things for you guys if it comes down to it being certified and all. Although it isn't necessary, it'd be interesting to see if the WBO advertisements will help attract other bladers or not.

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - Wagalashi - Oct. 13, 2010

true, i mainly push the WBO certification because i want there to be "the More The Merrier" and to have a official AZ tournament.... either way it should be real fun WBO certified or not Smile

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - RTP49 - Oct. 13, 2010

Well, as much as it would be advertised on the site, it doesn't exactly do anything unless there are a lot of WBO Bladers based in AZ that don't know about this thread, and I'm fairly sure most of them do. We could always try making print adverts and putting them in Asian grocery stores all over the MetroPhoenix area, but I don't think that would do much either, haha.

But there's still quite a few people in this thread that haven't RSVPed yet, so certification can still happen provided we get an insured 8 participants.

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - Wagalashi - Oct. 13, 2010

well naruto+ash said he might come...

and i sent notifications of the tournament to will, greenlantern, and darkwolfff

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - iChaos - Oct. 13, 2010

I may not be able to attend. But have you guys ever thought about having a tourney in the Summer?

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - Themailman - Oct. 13, 2010

I think the certification would be helpful to get a large crowd going. Plus, if this goes well we can start to establish a community to organize future events, gatherings, what have you, in Arizona.

It might be too hot for a park but if we could find another venue then yeah that might be cool. But, next summer is a way yo go...

Well, I have, but then I realized that nobody likes 120° degree heat. Fall and winter seems approachable as far as developing a community, and then by the time Summer rolls around we can find an actual venue.

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - Wagalashi - Oct. 14, 2010

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - DaijoubuQuest - Oct. 16, 2010

RTP and I were at Wal-Mart and Toys r Us checking out the beyblade stocks. You guys may or may not want to head down to your nearest retail store and check out the stock. We picked up a Burn Phoenix at Wal-Mart and saw an L-Drago, Evil Gemios, Storm Capricorn, and Flame Libra. It'll be interesting to see how this works out.

RE: [Arizona, USA] anyone? - Wagalashi - Oct. 16, 2010

hmmm how strange... i never saw any of those ... i can't believe they released Gemios so quickly same with burn phoenix (i really want the burn wheel it has great attack) also some people reported Pisces being in the US
