I wanted to test this thread to see if I was necroposting or not.

This is a custom combo that is one of my favorites. Awakened Vl' was first used in Perfect Phoenix now let's see how it does against the Mirage layer.

Pretty sure this kind of combo isn’t really good anymore. I did go up against something just like this around a year ago in a tournament, and it indeed was pretty good. But now? I doubt it is.

I think this thread's mission is to try making a competitive Mirage combo. Although you're right, Vanish is better and Mirage wasn't a "must have" for competitive afaik.

The only competitive Mirage combo I knew was an awakened 2D chassis and a worn Rise driver which acts as an attacker and a spin-equalizer. Mirage isn't a strong ring but was served as an alternative options for 5G deck. In this current metagame, Mirage is no longer a competitive part because it's successor(Vanish) has greater stamina/defense hybrid performance.
