Lord (ロード, Rōdo) is a Layer Base released by Takara Tomy as part of the [color=var(--theme-link-color)]Burst System[/color] as well as the [color=var(--theme-link-color)]Gatinko Layer System[/color]. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-149 [color=var(--theme-link-color)]GT Triple Booster Set[/color] on August 10th, 2019.
==Description==
Lord is a oval shaped , dual spin layer base. Like to its predecessor Cho-Z Spriggan, it has 2 plastic blades in the form of heads, and 2 rubber blades like Spriggan Requiem moulded into 2 metal axe like blades. As part of the Gatinko layer system, Lord is compatible with both right and left spin Gatinko chips, but can’t increase its weight further by the Addition of weights due to having one built into the layer.
Unlike its predecessors, Lord’s dual spin Mechanic is simpler: it has 2 tabs which can be twisted to alter spin direction. Combined with the fact that the teeth of the layer can be customised, it mitigates the teeth wear its predecessors had.
As the rubber and metal parts lack the power of Judgement and Zwei respectively, Lord’s true potential lies in its flexibility due to its dual spin ability. This makes it able to be used for various combinations for various purposes.
==Overall==
While Lord can't consistently have the power of Judgement and Zwei, its flexibility allowed it to be used in many combinations, and stay relevant during the Superking layer system’s release. However with the release of Tempest and World, Lord is outclassed.
As such, Lord is not a must have but is a welcome addition to any blader’s collection.

Lord became outclassed when tempest and world released. Several things outclass it now like Tempest, World, Hollow, Roar, Dynamite+F Gear, Vanish, and Astral.

Lord does not need the power of Judgement or Zwei. It is a stamina layer, they do not need to have attack.
