Lucha Burst fanfic thread (Beyblade Burst: Ice Storm) - Lucha Burst - Jul. 30, 2021
Welcome to beyblade Bursrt: Ice Storm! New beys with "elemental" powers have appeared around the world, with some of the best bladers replicating the system, Young Kori Arashi is the first to make one of these "tornado" beys. with an overlooming darkness(The Ice Storm) devouring the beyblade world, Kori Arashi must get stronger fast! But he quickly learns this is no easy task. Kori will face many challenges, from injury to broken beys, Kori will face it all, will Kori Overtake the Ice King or will the Ice Storm take over beyblade forever?
Main Character: Kori Arashi
System:
Tornado system
Chip - A sparking like chip with 2 teeth on it, holds the layer together and has the motif.
Blade Base - The Blade Base is divided into two parts the "Blade body" which houses the other two teeth of the bey and the main gimmick and blades and such. and the "cover" which holds the weight in
Soul Weight - Similar to a fusion of a db armor and a GT weight, it is sandwiched between the Blade body and cover of the blade base.
Rin Disc - A average disc with 4 nexus like prongs so that the Disc Blades can attatch
Disc Blades - Plastic pieces that attach to Rin Discs via 4 indents akin to S-Gear
Driver - Average driver.
For the Duration of the FanFic you can submit a character/bey at any time, please use detail or else I have no choice but to ignore the entry as i can not play the character/bey right or at all.

System: BattleCore
BattleCore: Similar to DB cores except with a new twist, the cores have metal in them for weight as well as a slightly rounder design for the new system.
Battle Weight: similar to armours in db but with rounder shape and Shorter prongs.
Battle Blade: with a similar design to DB blades, battle blades are larger and slightly different design then DB blades.
Chassis: Chassis lock into the core of BattleCore layers and provide more contact points and more weight, there are 2 types of chassis, single and double. There are 3 styles of chassis, speed, power and weight, speed chassis are generally lighter then the other chassis but are super fast. Power chassis focus on optimizing it's own advantages, for example defense power chassis focus on having high defences, weight chassis focus more on weight then anything.
Battle disc: If you have a single chassis you can have a special forge disc on your bey, all battle discs have one primary gimmick disc armours! Similar to disc frames, disc armour are plastic pieces that fit on top of the disc.
driver: Regular Driver
Rare parts, the are rare parts characters can/will acquire through challenges and events throughout the fan fiction, full list below
1. Dash driver's - by completing a certain training event in the fanfiction, blader's will be gifted a dash version of there current Driver.
2. Battle ring - similar to level chips_battle rings clip into the battle core of a blader's bey, they provide better burst resistance and extra weight. The can be obtained by anyone who makes it to the finals of a national/international event.
3.A-Gear - The A-Gear locks into any BattleCore and has three modes, defence, attack and stamina, defence has two large blades on a free spinning base. Attack locks the free spin and makes the blade more prominent and attack like. Stamina has a rounder shape, and free spins. The A-Gear can be acquired by defeating either Ares or Achilles.
4. Special color Weight - awarded to the top 10 blader's in each country, certain beys have colored weights that fit there color scheme.
5. Super Charge LR Launcher - A super powerful launcher given out to blader's who pass the Longinus training camp, only the best of the best use these launchers.
6. Dark blade -Dark blades are given to blader's who join the dark league, the blades use banned metals and special rubber to make the beys even better.
Low mode vs high mode
High mode Assembly: core, weight, blade
Advantages of high mode:
1. Higher stamina and defense
2. More stability
Disadvantages:
1. Lower attack power
2. Less speed.

Personality: A competitive blader's with the talent to beat the best, but outside of the arena and bey world he's very fun and always out to have a good time.
Appearance: Ashton wears a red jacket with silver lining and a gold "A" on the back. He wears some silverfish grey pants and a silverfish grey tank top with some gold and silver sneakers. He has a gold glove on his left hand and a belt with his bey and launcher in it.
Bey: Magma Ares -12 1B-P Nuclear
Bey Type: Balance
BattleCore: Ares - the ares core depicts two spears on with side and a helmet in the middle, it is dual spin with above average teeth.
Blade: Magma - the magma blade features two large swords that can switch from smash or barrage mode, in smash mode the swords are like the dragon heads on zwei, in barrage mode the swords are like the ones in union Achilles. There are two smaller swords after the large ones and 4 spring loaded bumpers that can be awakened, when fully awakened the bey has a more aggressive shape and the bumpers offer less defence but still offer some defense.
Armour:12 - the 12 armour features 6 orb shaped points, the design is similar to if you fused the gt weights metsu and sou. The gap provides attack power while still maintaining high weight and roundness for stamina and defense.
Chassis: 1B-P: 1 balance-power is designed to make the most of balance types. In defence mode the chassis free spins, and in attack mode the blades lock and take on a sharp shape. The sharp blades can be aligned with the large swords for stronger attacks or the small sword for a rounder shape and barrage attacks.. The double chassis design has a lot of metal for weight and attacks but thick plastic for defense and stamina.
Driver:Nuclear - the nuclear driver has a sharp plastic tip with a large rubber ring around it. The rubber ring can be pushed up for more stamina or put down the rubber for attack mode.

Ashton: Hmm, says here that I've been invited to the Longinus training camp.
Aiden: I Got the same notification, wonder what this Longinus training camp is.
Ashton: Well, whatever it i we better be ready for it, which means we should work on getting to work on your new Achilles!
Aiden: Yeah!
*A Few Hours Later*
Aiden: Done! Warrior Achilles!
Asher: Alright! Let's test these new beys out!
*At the bey park*
Ashton & Aiden: 3...2...1...Let it rip!
*Ares & Achilles would land in the arena*
Ashton: Now Ares! Nuclear clash!
*Ares would lean forward on the rubber part of the nuclear driver, Ares would jolt forward into Achilles*
Aiden: Achilles! Warrior Smash!
*The swords on the warrior blade would be pushed back by Ares attack, the burst stoppers would come out. Achilles would speed around the stadium and smash into Ares*
Ashton: Ares!
Aiden: Achilles!
*Both beys would fly out of the stadium and hit the ground at the same time*
*The Next Day*
Aiden: You Ready?
Ashton: As ready as I'm gonna be.
*they'd walk into the Longinus training camp*
Aiden: Wow!
Ashton: There are two open stadiums over there those must be ours.
*They'd Approach the stadium, the bot would turn on and display the number 150*
Aiden: 150? wonder what that could mean.
*The bot would shoot out a bey*
Ashton: alright a battle!
*Aiden & Ashton would launch*
Ashton & Aiden: Nuclear Clash!
*both beys would lean forward on there nuclear drivers, they'd smash through the beys in there stadiums*
Ashton: that was easy.
*the number on the bot would lower by 1*
Aiden: I think that mean we have 149 more beys to beat.

personality: Aiden is chill guy who is usually just around, he's pretty good blader.
appearance: Aiden has solid red hair and yellow eyes, he wears a T-shirt with his bey club logo on it, he wears yellow shorts with re markings and red shoes. he has a gauntlet on his arm which holds his bey.
bey: Warrior Achilles -2 2B-W Nuclear
Type: Balance
BattleCore: Achilles - The Achilles core features a Helmet in the middle with two sword coming out of either side of the helmet, the swords cross over shields on either side of the core. this bey has ok teeth and uses the rubber lock system which debuted on roar bahamut
Blade: Warrior - the warrior blade has 2 swords on it, that when hit hard the swords will move back pushing in burst stoppers, other then that the blade features 2 small blades designed like daggers.
battle weight: 2 - the weight 2 has a circular design with 2 small weight blocks on either side, they line up with the warrior blade perfectly
chassis: 2B-W - 2 balance weight has a large amount of metal on it, the metal is encased in plastic the 2Bchassis has large bumps all around it, these bumps act as defence or attack depending on the mode or use.
Driver: Nuclear - the nuclear driver has a sharp plastic tip with a large rubber ring around it. The rubber ring can be pushed up for more stamina or put down the rubber for attack mode. the nuclear driver on Achilles is a red recolor.

*everyone would grab one and put it on, it would light up*

Intercom: Around you are 20 stadiums, one for each of you, its simple, you battle against random opponents for 1 hour, you lose once your done.

*doors around the dungeon would open, people would flood out and surround the stadiums*

Battle Weight: 5 - the 5 weight has 5 weight blocks in a star pattern, it can line up in between the rollers or line up with the rollers, when lined up with the rollers the free spin tightens and becomes a lot tighter.
chassis: 1D-W - the 1 defense-weight chassis is a single chassis with a fat metal ring around the outside, when launched, the weight of the chassis shifts out for more OWD. when stamina gets low the weights pull in.
Battle disc: core - the core disc is a large perfect circle with holes towards the inside which provides high OWD and stamina.
Disc Armour: spin - the spin armour has a free spinning ring around it, when hit it absorbs attacks. when the disc scrapes it wont lose any stamina.
Driver: Saturn - the Saturn driver has a sharp tip with a free spinning ring, when the driver leans over it hits the free spinning ring.
when awakened the Saturn driver tip will also free spin.

*Ares would lean down striking the top of Deathscyther forcing it into the stadium floor*
Aiden: It's time!
Ashton & Aiden: Super Strike! Double Sword!
*Are and Achilles would speed around the stadium and crash into Deathscyther on either side*
Diego: Hang in there Deathscyther
*Deathscyther would burst and Achilles would be sent flying into the lake*
Aiden: Noooo! Achilles *He'd jump into the lake*
Diego: wow, you managed to burst Deathscyther, you guys are a good team.
Seth: Now It's my turn.
Seth & Diego: 3...2...1...Let it rip!
*Deathscyther and Satan would land in the stadium*
Seth: Insanity Zone!
*Satan would take the center*
Diego: Send it flying! Super Scythe!
*Deathscyther would barrage Satan with strong attacks, Satan would absorb them with the rollers*
Seth: your attacks do nothing, Satan has rock solid defense*
Diego: we'll see about that, Detour Smash.
*Deathscyther would lean forward on the detour driver and speed towards Satan, Deathscyther would strike Satan's disc armour*
Seth: Once again won't do anything.
*Deathscyther would be sent into the wall, there would be a clicking noise and Deathscyther would speed up*
Seth: How??
Diego: Super Scythe!
*Deathscyther would smash into Satan, Satan would burst*
Seth: What???? How.
Diego: when the scythe gets pushed back it lines up with the chassis weight boosting attack power.
Seth: agghh! I'll beat you next time!
*The platform would shift out from under Seth*
Diego: As promised, you lost so you take a dip.
Aiden: Ah finally I found Achilles.
Ashton: Aiden.... that's a rock.
Aiden: Huh? oh, man!
*the rest of the training camp would try to take on Diego*
Ashton: only two people actually beat Diego, me and some kid named Jio.
Aiden: I think i finally found Achilles.
Ashton: that is once again a rock.
Aiden: AHHH! Darn you rocks!
Seth: Grr! that darn Diego.
Aiden: OK this on has to be it, this one has to be Achilles.
Ashton: 658 rocks later an you actually found Achilles
*later that day*
Seth: I wonder who that other guy who beat Diego is.
Ashton: His name is Jio that's about all we know
Jio: yup Jio's the name, Don't wear it out.
Jio is the owner of either Jinnius or Jörmungandr am I right?
