Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - RoscoePColeslaw - Jun. 29, 2021 Greetings and what is up, I'm here to seek various opinions and/or advice. I'm trying to build a real solid true balance-type combo, and I've gotten to the point of being confident in basically every part that I've chosen except the driver. I've been using Xtend+ as my go-to, and it was working well, but once Dynamite Battle hit the scene and I swapped my 2B out for a 1S+Giga combo, its burst resistance hasn't held up all that well in situations where it needs to give and/or take a beating. So I've come here to get people's opinions on what drivers they recommend in a true balance-type combo. Basically, I'd like to know what drivers people are leaning towards in balance combinations that can assume both offensive and defensive/stationary roles. RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - NamanSpryzen - Jun. 29, 2021 RoscoePColeslaw Try Zeta/Zeta', Unite/Unite' (although I don't think that's good), and/or Merge/Merge'. (all of Spryzen's drivers haha) RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - valtaoi_007 - Jun. 29, 2021 well maybe try Unite' if your combo needs to be more defensive or merge' if more agressive but on both options it will lack a lot LAD and would be better using it in same spin there is also Trans' and zeta' RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - JCE_13 - Jun. 29, 2021 (Jun. 29, 2021 3:00 AM)RoscoePColeslaw Wrote: Greetings and what is up, I'm here to seek various opinions and/or advice. If you want a combo, I would try: World Solomon (MCC) 2D (Awakened) Xt+. Brave Solomon (MCC) 2A Xt+. Tempest Solomon (MCC) 2A/1S Giga Xt+. 2D is as heavy as 1S Giga, and it has more burst resistance. If you don't want 2D, go for 2B or 2S. If you don't have MCCs, just sub For Lucifer2. If you want more advice, just send me a PM. RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - Orbit - Jun. 29, 2021 Destroy’, it has great stamina and attack, and although it’s defense is sub par, it’s not terrible due to the disk around it and it does have lots of burst resistance. You probably weren’t expecting a whole lot of defense anyway because Xtend+ doesn’t have too much of it either. Additionally it has lot of LAD RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - DeltaZakuro - Jun. 29, 2021 Maybe Trans' if you have it. If you want a combo, I would try: I'm definitely picking up what you're putting down, and while I do have a couple of awake 2Ds, the issue there is that one is already in one of my combos, and the other is illegally awakened. As for 2B, it is actually a few grams lighter than 1S+Giga, even though I managed to get a four-star, golden 2B. I have put both to the test, and while stock Belial knocks it around like crazy with 2B, it would lose by spin-out or knock-out, never by bursting. 1S+Giga is kind of the opposite. It doesn't get Belial'd anywhere near as hard now, but it bursts if you look at it funny. It was my ace-in-the-hole right until that crazy-strong Belial came out. I don't consider Xtend+ a balance driver, the defense and attack modes don't do much other than help out spin opposite spin opponents in specific matchups. (also Wheel is better than Giga for Xtend+) Rage Helios2 2S/3A Drift is probably the closest thing to a viable "true balance type combo". Good ko potential cause you're using Rage, great opposite spin stamina and hard to get knocked out as long as you don't hard launch. You could also try the Hollow combo here: https://youtu.be/lIPydPqUlLw?t=649 You'll have to wear down/awaken Charge' though. Rage/Jet/Abyss 2D Rise was popular in Korea for a while, more about it here: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Answered-Is-2D-good-for-attack?pid=1746340#pid1746340 Basically worn down Rise can circle the tornado ridge really fast, getting it some kos. The combo also has good opposite spin stamina. There's also Dead Hades Blitz Atomic, you can read about it here: https://beybase.com/5-top-ranked-players-favourite-beyblade-burst-combos/#froztz-favourite-beyblade-burst-combos. It's too low for Xtend+, scrapes and kills all of the LAD potential. 2B and 2S are definetely better. Giga on Xtend+ isn't as good as Wheel either (you can legit hear Giga brushing against the stadium once it slows down, thats not good!) RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - UnseenBurst - Jun. 29, 2021 Xtend+ Zone'+Z Unite' Diminsion' RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - JCE_13 - Jun. 29, 2021 (Jun. 29, 2021 8:07 PM)tubitr Wrote:(Jun. 29, 2021 3:00 AM)RoscoePColeslaw Wrote: Greetings and what is up, I'm here to seek various opinions and/or advice. I mean, any combo has the potential to scrape, even my 2B does it. 2D is nowhere near as bad as convert, and my Union still wins by LAD. The thing about 2D is its weight, so it makes good balance. He was asking for balance combos, and if you really want balance, go with defense mode. It's about as balanced between attack and stamina as it can get. Xtend+ is the driver you want for balance. Also guys, by balance drivers I think he means drivers that are versatile. If you want to know the drivers that'll get you the farthest, I'd go with Drift, Zone' + Z, Xtend+, and Ignition'. The reason for Ignition over Hybrid is that Ignition is more versatile, and it's cheaper to buy with little to no difference between the two. I would definitely be using Zone'+ if I hadn't already delegated it to my Burst Classic deck. What about Dimension'? All I've ever seen it mentioned on here was a potential choice for spin-steal, so I have absolutely no idea how tournament-friendly it is. Ahh, if only there was an Xtend'+ RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - JCE_13 - Jun. 30, 2021 (Jun. 30, 2021 1:00 AM)RoscoePColeslaw Wrote:Dimension' won't get you very far in tournaments. RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - Orbit - Jun. 30, 2021 I think that if you want mode changes, then Xtend+ will work the best, so I’d like to reccomend a different change. Try using DB layers along with the new Bahamut chip, it could be what you need for more burst resistance. Maybe Dynamite+F Bahamut Giga Xtend+. If you also want acces to dual spin, then try waiting for the new spriggan to come out. The precedent is that Spriggan has a burst resistance gimmick. RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - RoscoePColeslaw - Jun. 30, 2021 Well, since I adamantly refuse to take Zone'+Z off of my Classic balance combo, I think I'm gonna' try switching back to 2B w/ Xtend+. I'm gonna' see if I just need to work on my launches, and if I still keep losing to DB, I'll experiment with my dash balance drivers and see what has the best success rate. I think I'll leave this unanswered just a bit longer though. That way, it's still red in case somebody swings in with a recommendation for an underrated driver choice, or somebody has a solution I've been missing. I'm thinking my testing gauntlet will consist of pitting each mode against Rage Helios II (MCC) Drift 3A, Dynamite-F Belial, and Cyclone Ragnaruk RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - JCE_13 - Jun. 30, 2021 (Jun. 30, 2021 1:25 AM)Orbit Wrote: I think that if you want mode changes, then Xtend+ will work the best, so I’d like to reccomend a different change. I was sorely disappointed when I couldn't make the combo I had in mind RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - Orbit - Jun. 30, 2021 Sorry my brain just stopped working. Maybe Roar or the new Spriggan’s blade would work for balance. Maybe even Dynamite Valkyrie if the springiness will help with defence RE: Most Recommended True Balance Drivers? - Blader_Syre - Jun. 30, 2021 I would recommend Xtend+ or Wave |
