A Hero's Return
I woke up in my bed. I sit up quickly. A shock of pain goes through me. I look at the time. 12:00 pm. June 11th. The day I "left". "So it was just... A dream?" I think. I start to get out of bed. I grab Eagle, who is clear of all scratches. I put on my regular clothes and walk downstairs. "Morning mom." I say. No response. "Mom?" I walk in the kitchen. No one's there. "Where is she?" I turn to get a drink from the fridge, but notice something. A note. I pick it up and read it. It reads:


I put it down and walk outside. I let out a gasp. There, standing in front of me, is all of the town, the other teams, and the head of the WBBA. "Is this," I start. "All for me?!" Alfred and Karan walk up. "Yup!" Alfred says. "We're the world champions." Karan says. "Come with me." Alfred says. "Someone wants to meet you." He takes me up to the head of the WBBA. "Hello." he says. "My name is Bradley Smith." He puts his hand out for me to shake. I kindly shake it. "It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Smith." I say. "Well, it's an honor to meet you." He responds. "You're friends are waiting to see you."
I turn to the front of the crowd. There stands all of my friends. I run up to them and they give me a giant group hug. "Thank you!" I say. "It was an honor to fight beside you, Shawn." Yao says and bows. "Hope to battle you again, my friend." Ludwig says and pats me on the head. "You were truly awesome, little bro." Gilbert says. "I hope we can still talk, Shawn." Feliciano says. "That last battle is something I'll never forget." Kiku says. "It seems you've surpassed even my level of skill, Shawn." Roderich says and smiles.
"Thank you guys. I'll never forget this day." I say. "I'll stay in contact with you guys." "You better." Gilbert says. My mom comes up behind me and gives me a surprise hug. "Mom! Don't embarrass me!" I say. They all laugh. D.J. and Taylor come up. My mom lets go of me and I run to Taylor. I give her a hug. "Awwww!" They all say. Taylor's cheeks turn red.

Hours Later

"So," I start, "How long was I out?" I ask Karan and Alfred. We had just eaten cake and were outside watching the stars. All of the other teams were there, too. "Few days. Long enough to get back to America." Alfred responded. "Wow..." I say. "No wonder I was so hungry." Everyone laughs. "So what happened while I was out?" I ask. Gilbert points to Elizabeta with an evil smile. "She's pregnant." He says. "Gilbert!" Elizabeta says and punches him in the shoulder.
"Well congratulations." I say. "Thank you." She responds and smiles. Roderich puts his arm around her. Yao smiles. "Daiyu and I are, what you Americans call, "a couple"." I look down to Daiyu. She smiles. "Nice." I say and fist bump Yao. They all laugh. Jynx raises his hand. "Me and Charlotte are dating." Charlotte's face turns red. "Awesome." Alfred says.
"Anything else?" I ask. "Ivan and Natalia are dating." Ludwig says. "Or so I've heard." I look around. "Where are they?" I ask. "No one knows." Ludwig responds. "After you fainted, Ivan said he'd go out with Natalia. No one's heard from them sense." I have a bad feeling about that. I really bad one. I stared into the campfire we had made. "Something wrong?" Taylor asks. "No." I say. We get all quiet.
"I hope to see you guys again in the near future." I say. "We can video chat!" Gilbert says. "Yeah!" Everyone agrees. "So I guess we'll talk soon." I smile. I look to the stars. I see a shooting star. "This day can't be any more perfect." I say. "Yes it can." Taylor says. I look down. She kisses me. I feel my cheeks turn red. Everyone aw's. "And it looks like it just did." I say. I stare into the stars. "Thank you, my friends." I think. "And thank you, Eagle."

Well, this is a different story. I am Zeit Faircloth. They call me Z. I am Shawn's son. Along with my bey, Clockwork Tempus TH170WD, we are the protectors of Time. With my friends, Peter Jones, Fan Wang, Feliks Lukasiewics, and Lilly Edelstein, we are the chosen ones who are to defeat the new darkness. We each have our own elements. Peter is the guardian of water. Fan is the guardian of fire. Feliks is the guardian of earth. Lilly is the guardian of air. We only have one goal. To defeat this new darkness.
