Currently yes, Chups. Do you own it? You should get it, and help us test, or post different/various things...

Anyways, I really want tried H145. My H145 broke recently, and My VariAres couldn't use that... hah.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Chups - Aug. 13, 2011

Not have it yet but it's already about a week into shipping so I should most likely have it late next week. Smile
I would be more than happy.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - ControL_ - Aug. 13, 2011

<3, I'm adamant you can get more KOs with VariAres, how are you launching both beys?

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - th!nk - Aug. 13, 2011

SW145 may be viable here, it shares variares symmetry, and generally works nicely for attack in similar situations. That said, r145 usually works better than that and h145

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 13, 2011

I was suggesting that next, because I was thinking it had less recoil.

Someone should try that, but I was afraid no one owned it.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - pepsikola - Aug. 13, 2011

Hrm, well I suggested UW145 a while back, and SW145 seems similar. But the idea of the three prongs is pretty much the key here right?

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - ?uestion - Aug. 13, 2011

why not just stick w/ the basic tracks 85/90/100/105/d/t125/145?

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 13, 2011

How would that guess us anywhere?

We've done 85 which outclasses 90/100/105.. T125? CH120 is better...

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 13, 2011

The best tracks to test with attack are: 85/CH120/D125/S130/BD145/R145/TH170

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Aug. 13, 2011

Here I got some some test results

BB-10 Attack Stadium
3 Segment Launcher Grip+LL2 for Basalt Custom
Launcher Grip+LL3 for VariAres Custom
Worn CS, Slightly aggressive
Slightly Worn RF
Basalt Custom Shot first

VariAres 85RF vs MF-M Basalt Aquario GB145CS
VariAres 85RF: 8 wins
Basalt Aquario: 2 wins
VariAres Win %: 80%

EDIT: Left Spin VariAres

Thanks for those tests, could you also do them exactly the same with the difference being you launching Basalt with the weak shoot? It will be interesting to compare results that aren't just Basalt BD145MB based with weak shooting.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Aug. 13, 2011

Ok, I should try to do them today. And maybe even some other combos.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 14, 2011

Make sure you don't launch too weak.

Is 85 gripping onto Basalt any good?

I know.

85 is doing pretty good actually. I should be doing some other testins to.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 14, 2011

Launching it 'too weak' would honestly just make it better and harder to KO.
Also, testing it against VariAres in left spin would be dumb, Vari will lose. But whatever..

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 14, 2011

I was going to say what ControL_ mentioned earlier on the spin stealing stuff.

BeyCenter, try Right if you can too.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Aug. 14, 2011

I'll try Right today also.

Anyway, here are the results for weak launch.

All conditions are same except a weaker launch for Basalt Aquario GB145CS

Vari Ares 85RF (Left Spin) vs MF-M Basalt Aquario GB145CS

VariAres 85RF: 6 wins (4 KO,2 OS)
Basalt Aquario GB145CS: 4 wins
VariAres win %: 60%
EDIT: 7 Draws.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - RustyXD - Aug. 14, 2011

7 draws? I would have expected Vari Ares to fail due to the weak launch technique. This is Interesting Tongue_out

using weak launches increase spin equalizing

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 14, 2011

That's true, and VariAres has such bad balance it will give it up.

Guys I will have tests up [a lot] when I meet up with BeyCenter today or tomorrow.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 14, 2011

How hard were you launching? 50% wouldn't cut it, Basalt would get torn. I'm talking 30% and maybe even 10 depending on how ferocious the attacker is. It will survive at 10% if you think otherwise.

how is possible to measure 50, 30, or 10 percent of of one's launch power without some sort of hightech gear...

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Aug. 14, 2011

I did 30%, 90% for Vari. But Basalt did do better, although it is not much, by two more rounds than before.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 14, 2011

You measure it yourself by your standards. It isn't a difficult task, just try it.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Aug. 14, 2011

I did. 30% on my standards for basalt, 90% for vari. Will be testing right spin.
