RE: Winning Combinations. - Uwik - Sep. 02, 2014 This was via PM, but I thought I'd put it here for public 08/30/14 - (STD) Raleigh, NC: Super Yolo Swag Tournament of Doom! 1st: samurai Tite Duo Cancer 230D Killerken Dragooon B : D Genbull Girago E230 [Boost] MB 2nd: BladerLight Genbull Genbull 90GF Killerken Dragooon BD145GF Killerken Dragooon BD145RDF Duo Cancer SA165 [Normal] BWD 3rd: TʜᴇBʟᴀᴄᴋDʀᴀɢá´É´ Duo Cancer B : D MSF-L Girago Dragooon SA165 [Attack] EWD Duo Cancer 230MB MSF-H Wyvang Wyvang BD145RDF RE: Winning Combinations. - Titan Tite - Sep. 02, 2014 used dou aquario 230 d not dou cancer 230 d RE: Winning Combinations. - The Supreme One - Sep. 02, 2014 Interesting combos for second place lol. How did Killerken Dragooon BD145 GF work? Pretty weird combination to use for attack, not to mention difficult to use, what with trying to bank & weak launch GF without BD145 scraping. RE: Winning Combinations. - Mitsu - Sep. 02, 2014 (Sep. 02, 2014 8:34 PM)The Supreme One Wrote: Interesting combos for second place lol. How did Killerken Dragooon BD145 GF work? Pretty weird combination to use for attack, not to mention difficult to use, what with trying to bank & weak launch GF without BD145 scraping. At least from what I know, that specific setup isn't meant for attack, nor did he bank it. Killerken Dragoon BD145GF is quite good for both its stall and wide LAD abilities. It does relatively well against both B;D and SA165 right spin setups, like Duo_SA165EWD, for say, as well. ![]() On the topic of Giga Flat setups, how did BladerLight seem to fare with Genbull Genbull 90GF, TʜᴇBʟᴀᴄᴋDʀᴀɢá´É´? What did it manage to win against, too? That's undeniably one of the most interesting winning combinations I've ever seen up and on here, haha. It was a Hasbro orange I believe, winning by Sway KO's. The combo is a major problem in the UK haha). Chuckie also featured in the finals but he didn't win any matches so there weren't any winning combinations as such. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kai-V - Sep. 23, 2014 Oh, winning combinations are those used throughout the whole tournament to win by the top three people, by the way, not just those use in the finals. RE: Winning Combinations. - Ultra - Sep. 23, 2014 Er well I only recorded the finals since it ended up Round Robin and would have had to write down so many combos and also Blitz kind of said it only needed to be the finals. RE: Winning Combinations. - Wombat - Sep. 24, 2014 (Sep. 23, 2014 6:02 PM)Ultra Wrote: Er well I only recorded the finals since it ended up Round Robin and would have had to write down so many combos and also Blitz kind of said it only needed to be the finals. What we usually do in NC is that the host asks the placers what they used, after the event is done, to save them the trouble of having to record the combos. Yeah, we always do it right after the event in Toronto. Ultra, I would go ask Blitz, xHB SAUCEx, and Charlie for their complete lists (to the best of their ability) now and update the post. Also some interesting chrome wheel set ups for both 2nd and 3rd place there. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kaboom!!! - Sep. 25, 2014 I knew it would catch someone's eye if I posted it. I love V145. It works great in my opinion. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kai-V - Sep. 25, 2014 We are trying to finish the Beywiki draft for Sol Blaze V145AS. Could you go post your thoughts about V145 in the draft topic ? RE: Winning Combinations. - loyd87 - Oct. 04, 2014 this tournament is a Standard format? RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - Oct. 07, 2014 Just realized I never posted the winning combinations from BEY OR DIE: BEY OR DIE - 9/27/14 - Team Standard Format Winning Team: Team DAY BREAKERS (Kei ©, JesseObre, Pockyx3)
I believe that was it. RE: Winning Combinations. - Dark_Mousy - Oct. 14, 2014 Ritsuka's Birthday Bash, October 10th 2014. Raleigh(Game Theory) North Carolina USA. Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Winning Combinations. - Mitsu - Oct. 14, 2014 Quote: F230s Use Wrote:I myself saw a lot, not only in Zero-G, but in Limited, as well. In Limited, I managed to beat Kei's Meteo L-Drago F230GCF setup using my MF-H Lightning L-Drago H145LRF, however, losing against The Sponge's L-Drago Guardian F230CF using my Libra 230CS. Duo Horogium 230CS was also used to beat MF-H Scythe Aquario F230CF, too! Zero-G-wise, MSF-H Genbull Dragoon F230CF was also used by Nøᴠᴀ in Zero-G to beat my Scythe_SA165BWD setup and in the the tie to determine second against 1234beyblade's MF-M Duo Cancer B:D, as well. Very surprising battles outcomes, too. Hell, a Killer Pegasis UW145RF was using to beat a Burn_SR200WD setup. In addition to that, a Thermal setups of Pyrus10000's was also used to defeat one of Kei's who never jokes around, haha. By the way, was Balro Balro BD145MF actually not able to your team any good at B.O.D, Kei? RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - Oct. 17, 2014 Pretty sure that LMAO used Duo Cancer 230CS, not Duo Horogium 230CS. I was the one who gave him the combo for the final battle. Also, one of the most striking things for me about Midnight's Birthday Bash–and Limited in general–is how much more willing people are to use RF-based Attack. It isn't represented that well in the winning combos for that tournament, but among the other players it wasn't uncommon at all. Even though I love Standard, this is a welcome change from a format where more 'passive' Attack combos are dominating (RSF, RDF, MF, etc. Maybe 'passive' is not the best term, but you know what I mean). (Oct. 14, 2014 2:19 AM)Midnight` Wrote: By the way, was Balro Balro BD145MF actually not able to your team any good at B.O.D, Kei? All I can remember is that Pockyx3 lost 3-2 versus your F230 combo with it; I can't recall if we used it for any other BeyBattles in that tournament. |
