May The Best Blader Win
I stared into the eyes of Ivan Braginski. He smirked. "I will win." I thought. "I have to." I looked over to the crowd. Gilbert's red eyes were the first thing I saw. I felt his fiery spirit. I looked to Taylor. I smiled and she smiled back. "Bladers to their places!" The ref said. "Good luck." Karan and Alfred said together. I nod and walk down to the stand. Ivan jumps down from his stand, leaving a mark where he landed. He walks up to the stadium. "Ivan Braginski..." I say. "I am Russia's only hope." He responds and readies Nemesis. I ready Eagle.
"Bladers ready!" The ref says. "3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!" Ivan and I shout as we launch our beys. The collide in the middle, sending out a blast of energy. I stand my ground, but Ivan takes at step back. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. Eagle goes in for a hit. "NEMESIS!" Ivan shouts. They make contact, causing another explosion. "GO!!!" I shout. Eagle again goes for an attack. Nemesis blocks it. "How?!" I exclaim. I hear some kind of click. I look to Nemesis who is speeding towards Eagle. "FLY EAGLE!" Eagle flies into the air before Nemesis can get to him.
"SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" Eagle sets on fire and comes down with amazing force. Ivan smiles. "Not so fast." He says. "Huh?!" I exclaim. Eagle makes contact, but is thrown to the other side of the stadium. Nemesis starts charging for Eagle. He makes contact. I hear Eagle's wheel crack. "No! Eagle!" I shout. Nemesis pushes him to the edge of the stadium. Eagle tilts up a bit. "Huh?" I say. Ivan growls. Nemesis is getting his spin drained by my spin track. "GO EAGLE!" I shout. Eagle sends out a blast of wind, blowing Nemesis to the other side. Eagle adds onto that by attacking suddenly.
Ivan snarls. "NEMESIS!" He shouts. "SPECIAL MOVE! DEVIL'S RAGE!" Nemesis is surrounded by a red energy. Eagle tries stopping it, but is blasted back. Then I see it. A red Eagle beast comes out of Nemesis and attacks my Eagle. He's using a barrage attack. "BLOW HIM AWAY, EAGLE!" I shout as Eagle is surrounded by wind. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "EAGLE MEGA TORNADO BUSTER!" A huge tornado forms in the stadium.
It tosses Nemesis into the air. Eagle then rides the winds of the tornado into the air. "How?!" Ivan shouts. "An Eagle boldly flies through a storm!" I respond. "It can feel winds we can't and using that, they soar!" Eagle makes contact with Nemesis, throwing him down into the stadium. Eagle comes down. "CROSS WIND DESTROYER!" I shout and Eagle sets ablaze. He makes contact with Nemesis. The crowd roars.
It all seems like it's over with. But then, Ivan's eyes turn red. He is surrounded by the purple aura. "Huh?!" I exclaim. Nemesis throws Eagle off. Ivan appears behind me and laughs in my ear. "You think this is over, little boy?" He asks. I turn around to punch him, but he's gone. "How the?!" I turn back around and he laughs again. The crowd goes silent. Ivan creepily smiles. The sky turns back. "It went from day to night, just like that?!" I think. "Special Move." Ivan says. "Black Death Genocide." Nemesis sends out a huge blast of energy. But it's not heading for Eagle. It's heading for me.

The True Blader's Spirit
"Nemesis!" Ivan shouted. "Special Move! Black Death Homicide!" Nemesis shot out a blast of darkness. It wasn't heading for Eagle. It was heading for me. I take the hit, right to the chest. I let out a cry of pain. "No!" I hear my team shout. I slam into the wall. "What is this?!" I think. "I can't move!" Darkness surrounds me. Ivan appears in front of me. He punches me right in the mouth. "That was for Natalia!" He says and lets out an evil laugh. "This is for Jake!" He punches me in the stomach. I cough up blood. My eyes start to close. "No! Must... Fight... Darkness..." I say to myself and black out.
I stand in the middle of a black void. All I can hear is Ivan's laugh. "STOP IT!" I shout and cover my ears. He appears behind me and pushes me down. "You're a weak fool! Challenging me like that!? What were you thinking?!" He puts his foot on my chest. I can see it. The whole world turning to darkness. I see Taylor and D.J., standing hopeless in the rain. Karan and Alfred. The laughing stock of America. All of the other teams grieving. Ludwig and Roderich. Still dead.
I close my eyes again. There I see Gilbert in front of me. Elizabeta appears behind him. Then Yao, Feliciano, Kiku, and all my other friends. Someone puts their hand on my shoulder. I turn to see Ludwig and Roderich's ghosts. "You have Germany with you." Ludwig says. "Austria is here, too." Roderich says. I turn to see everyone. "You guys... Were always by my side." I say. The team leaders walk up to me.
Yao puts Blaze to my chest. "The power of the sun. It's with you now." He says. Kiku puts Quetzalcoatl to my chest. "The power of the ancient snake. Use it wisely." He says. Feliciano, Ludwig, and Roderich all put their beys to me. "The power of the legendary archer. You need it now." Feliciano says. "The power of the Grim Reaper. It'll do you good." Ludwig says. "The power of the mighty wolf. May it's fangs guide you." Roderich says. They all smile. "Go get him!" They all say.
I open my eyes to see Ivan's face. We're still in the dark void. I am surrounded by a rainbow aura. "DIE!!!" I shout. He gets blasted back. I get up. He lands on his feet and runs towards me. I run towards him. "I'LL KILL YOU!" He shouts and tries punching me. I spin, dodging the punch and sock him right in the jaw. Then in the stomach. He lets out a howl in pain. We go back to the real world.
"I WON'T LOSE!" I break free from the darkness. "How?!" Ivan asks. The other teams cheer. The crowd goes nuts. I run back to the stadium. "I have all my friends with me!" I power up with the rainbow aura. Eagle glows. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Eagle soars into the air. Into space. "OMNI UNIVERSE DESTROYER!" Eagle's beast appears in the night sky. The Eagle constellation lights up. "GO NOW!" Eagle soars down.
"The power of the sun, Yao Wang. The power of the ancient snake, Kiku Honda. The power of the legendary archer, Feliciano Vargas. The power of the Grim Reaper, Ludwig Beilschmidt. The power of the mighty wolf, Roderich Edelstein." I say. Ivan lets out a cry of fear. "The power of the legendary compass, Alfred F. Jones. The dragon emperor, Karan Brar. The mighty bear, D.J. Harrison. And the mighty ocean, Taylor Ware." Eagle powers up even more.
"I have everyone by my side!" I shout. "No! Nemesis!" Ivan shouts. "Block his move!" Nemesis powers up. "BLACK DEATH HOMICIDE!" He shouts and Nemesis sends out the blast of energy. It hits Eagle but fades away. "NO!" He shouts. "WE ARE ONE! WE ARE THE CHOSEN ONES!" Eagle powers up with all the power of the other bladers. I look over my shoulder. Everyone is standing, holding their beys.
"EAGLE! FINISH HIM!" I shout. Eagle makes contact. Nemesis shatters. A huge explosion occurs. The smokes surrounds me. The flag pole falls, but I catch it. "Shawn!" Everyone shouts. "We are one!" I shout as the smoke clears. I hold up the American flag. The crowd cheers. Ivan stands on the other side. His eyes have turned completely purple. The Russian flag lies on the ground.
I turn and catch Eagle. "Thank you." I say. I hold up Eagle. "WE ARE ONE!" I shout. The other teams do the same with their beys. "WE ARE ONE!" They all shout. I see two aura come from Nemesis and go back to the hospital. The other teams run down to me. Alfred and Karan hug me. "That was amazing!" Alfred says. I smile. Then they appear. The team leaders. I walk up to them. "Thank yo-" "I'm not done with you, Shawn." Ivan says. He is surrounded by darkness and turned into a giant monster. "Oh my God." I say.

Ivan's Dark Side
"I'm not finished with you yet, Shawn." Ivan said. I turned from my friends and stared at him. "Time for you to taste true darkness." He said. Right then, darkness came from the destroyed Nemesis. It swirled around in the air and then surrounded Ivan. He let out an evil laugh as he grew and turned into a giant monster made of darkness. The monster roared. It caused a giant gust of wind to blow through the arena. We covered our ears and tried to stand our ground. "This is crazy!" Alfred shouted over the loud noise. Daiyu was in front of me and couldn't keep her ground. She flew back, but I grabbed her arm. "Thank you, Shawn!" She shouted. "No problem!" I shouted and sat her down.
The noise settled down. "What are you gonna do now?" The monster asked and let out an evil laugh. "I'll defeat you!" I yelled and readied Eagle. Everyone else readied their beys. The crowd started fleeing from the arena, and so did the ref. "Attack!" I shouted and launched Eagle. Everyone else launched their beys, too. "Go Eagle!" I shouted. The beast appeared and flew towards Ivan. "Byxis!" Alfred shouted. "L-Drago!" Karan shouted. They all attacked.
"Ha!" The monster exclaimed. "That is nothing!" He swiped his arm out and smacked Eagle out of the sky. He hit the ground. I flew back. "Shawn!" Gilbert shouted and caught me. "Thanks man!" I said as he set me down. "No problem." He responded. "Go Stiker!" He shouts. Lightning forms in his hands and he throws it at the monster. He takes the hit and lets out a cry in pain. "Yeah! Feel my awesomeness!" Gilbert shouts and shoots another lightning bolt. He reflects it and it shoots back at Gilbert. "Verdammt!" He shouts and jumps into the air, barely dodging the lightning.
Everyone is attacking with their powers. Roderich is shooting some kind of red energy out of his hands. Ludwig is shooting darkness, but it seems to hurt the monster. Feliciano has made a bow out of energy and is shooting flaming arrows. Kiku is punching the stadium floor, making chunks of rock, and throwing them at that thing. "Give it up!" I shout. The beast roars and sends out a blast of dark energy. It's heading straight for me.

The Fire Master
The monster let out a roar and shot a blast of darkness right at me. I was too scared to move. "Shawn! MOVE!" Alfred shouted. Then suddenly, Yao jumped in front of me. "NO!" I shouted. "NIHAO!" He shouted and put his hands to his mouth. He took a deep breath and then let it all out. Fire shot from his hands and stopped the darkness. "Whoa." I said in awe. Everyone else stared at the fire. "BLAZE, ARU!" He shouted. He moved his arms and legs. He spun around and then stopped in a knife-hand guarding block stance. "LET'S GO, ARU!" He yelled and punched at the monster. That caused more fire to shoot from his hands. The monster took the hit and fell down.
"Did you see that!?" I asked Alfred. "How could I miss it?!" He responded. "GO YAO!" We all shouted. He continued shooting fire at the monster. We all stood there, in awe, watching the spectacular show. "THAT WAS FOR THE PAIN I SUFFERED!" He yelled as he continued to hit him with fire. "THIS IS FOR MY TEAMMATE'S PAIN!" He continued shooting fire. "AND THIS IS FOR ALL OF CHINA!" He sent out huge blasts of fire. I stood behind him. "That is amazing, Ya-" I stared at him. His eyes turned red. "Yao?" I asked.
"DON'T MESS WITH ME!" He shouted. I hear Daiyu let out a gasp. "NO!" Wang shouts. "QUIT IT YAO!" He runs up and grabs his arm. Yao throws him back. Wang lands on the ground. "What's happening to Yao?!" I ask Wang. "He's going crazy! The power is going to his head! He's done this once before! We ended up in the hospital!" Wang responds. I help him up. "How do we stop him?" I ask, staring at the back of Yao. "We don't know." Wang responds. "I'll try." I say and take a step to Yao.
"Yao!" I shout. "Can you hear me!?" The evil Yao turns and looks over his shoulder. He growls. "What do you want, foreigner?" He asks. "Foreigner?" I think. "This seriously isn't the Yao I know." I stare at him. "This isn't the Yao we know!" I say. "The Yao we know is kind-hearted, caring, brave, and strong! You are not Yao Wang!" "Huh?" He mumbles and puts his hands down. "You are not the Yao Wang I know! The Yao Wang I know is one of my best friends!"
"I am..." He says. "I am Yao Wang, aru! The fire master, aru!" His eyes go back to normal. "I AM THE STRONGEST BLADER IN CHINA, ARU!" He is surrounded by fire. His shirt gets burned off revealing an eight-pack of abs. "Lucky." I mumble to Karan and Alfred who burst out laughing. He turns to the monster. "I know who I am, aru." He says and powers up more. He starts floating in the air. "This is..." He starts. "THE POWER OF CHINA, ARU!" He shoots more flames at the monster. "FEEL THE WRATH OF 4,000 YEARS, ARU!" The flames get bigger. "GO YAO!" We shout.
"We've been through thick and thin..." He says. "Even if we live in different countries... Speak different languages... We are always together... THROUGH THE POWER OF BEYBLADE!" A huge flash fills the stadium. The flash goes into space, right into the sun. "THIS IS MY TRUE POWER!" He says. "SPECIAL MOVE! THE SUN'S ASSULT!" A huge blast of energy comes down from the sun and hits the monster. "THIS IS THE POWER OF LIGHT, ARU!" A huge blast comes from what's left of the arena.
Yao starts to fall down. I run up behind him and catch him. "Xie-xie, Yao." I say. "Aiyaa..." He whispers and faints. "Yao!" Daiyu and Wang exclaim as they run to see him. "He should be ok." I say and hand him over. "Xie-xie, Yao." Daiyu and Wang say. Daiyu hugs him. I see a faint smile on his face. The monster roars. We turn around. "Take Yao to safety." I say to them. They nod. "It's time to end this." I say.

The Light in the Darkness
Daiyu laid Yao down beside one of the rocks from the crumbled stadium. "You got him?" I ask. She nods. "I'll stay by him until he wakes." She responds and holds his arm. "Does Daiyu like Yao?" I ask Wang. "Yup." He responds. I smile at them and then turn back to the fight. The monster has gotten up, but is very weak. "Shawn!" A familiar voice shouts. I turn to see Jake and Natalia running towards me. "We have to save Ivan!" Natalia says. She looks scared. "I've never seen him this way! I can't take it!" Tears form in her eyes. I nod. I take a step up to the team leaders who are fighting with everything they have.
"So if they have special powers..." I think and stare at my hands. "What is mine?" Then it hits me. "Wind." I think. I clap my hands together, shooting wind at the monster. It blows him back. "Nice!" Alfred says and gives me a thumbs up. "I can bend the wind that I feel..." I say. I take a step up. I'm standing beside Ludwig. "Do it already, Shawn!" He says. They are all shooting energy from their hands. I feel a power rising in me. I shoot a lavender colored energy from my hands.
They all hit the monster. "This isn't enough!" I say. "We need Yao!" "I'm a step ahead of you, aru." Someone says from behind me. I turn around to see a fully awaken Yao. "Just in time!" Ludwig says. Yao steps up next to me. He shoots an orange energy from his hands. Then Elizabeta steps up. She shoots a deep blue energy from her hands. Gilbert steps up. He shoots a green energy from his hands. Alfred steps up, shooting a neon blue energy from his hands. Karan steps up, shooting a neon orange energy from his hands.
Everyone steps up, shooting different colors of energy from their hands. Daiyu has a multi-colored energy. Charlotte has a sunshine yellow energy. "We are the controllers of the elements!" I shout. "Let's show him the power of light!" I shout. "Yeah!" Everyone shouts. They all call out their special moves. They gather together in one big ball of light. "SPECIAL MOVE!" I shout. "UNITED UNIVERSE DESTROYER!" The ball of light smashes into the monster. A huge flash of light fills the area around the arena. It sends a sonic boom through the air, through out the world.
The light clears. "Is everyone ok?" I ask. "Yes." They all respond. The monster is gone. Ivan lays there on the ground. I run over. "Ivan!" I exclaim and get to his side. "Are you ok?" I ask. His eyes are closed. "Ivan..." I ask again. Nothing. I feel for a pulse. Nothing. "No!" I shout and burry my face in my hands. I feel the tears gather up in my hands. "How could I let him die..." I say to myself. The others run up behind me.
"Shawn?" They ask. I say nothing. Alfred and Karan stand behind me. They get down on their knees and try talking to me. "How is he?" Alfred ask. "He's..." I try saying. "He's what?" Karan asks. "...Gone." They let out a gasp. Natalia falls to her knees. I turn to them. Ludwig is hiding his face by staring at the ground. Roderich is speechless. Feliciano's mouth hangs open. Yao has tears forming in his eyes. Kiku tries hiding his emotions, but can't.
"I'm sorry." I say to Natalia. She continues crying. Everyone goes silent. Then something amazing happens. I turn to Ivan. He twitches. "Huh?" I mumble and get down to his side. His eyes open. "Ivan!" I exclaim. "What'd I miss?" He asks. He's back to normal. Everyone cheers as he sits up. "I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you all." he says. "It's fin-" I get cut off. I start falling backwards. Someone catches me. "Shawn!" I hear someone shout. I can't make out their voice. Everything goes dark as I fall into a world of darkness.
