I suggest this, or like this, but at a titled angle. As in looking from on top your beylauncher. Friends. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - flamerx1231 - Apr. 15, 2009 i know that it was an example.i cant do good with 3D and paint RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Deikailo - Apr. 15, 2009 Uuum Pichu, when I said character design/art, I meant artist for the cutscenes. I'm by no means a spriter. I'll just draw the characters with a range of expressions for the cut scenes. If you do a better tyson (Exmple) That gets in If I do a gbetter ginga (Example again) that gets in. You probably deserve it more. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Pich - Apr. 15, 2009 Urgh, sorry I'm so late. XD Umm........where should I start. First, I like that story idea, even if you took it from Anubis XD. Second, Rocky, your in the group with Brad, Anubis, etc. cuz you have so many posts. Third, Deikailo, I've got you just for character design, not spriting. Is this correct? And, when you say sprites for the characters, do you mean close-up ones or like ones for the overworld of the game? Cuz I've got myself and BladeBee doing this already. (whichever, and example would be nice) Last, KidTala, if you can really do some coding, can you send me an example? RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - fragbait - Apr. 15, 2009 Quote:You (the no-name main character) recently moved to North America from Tokyo. So, your dad decides to give you something special for your birthday, your first beyblade. After battling with some friends, you find out that you are actually pretty good at beyblading. Your dad then tells you of a local tournament being held at a shopping mall and you decide to enter (do we need a reason as to why he does?). Editied for grammar, removed Nelvana refs, changed up the story. Some things you could work with are branching story paths, relations with fellow bladers, and if the different blading strategies could be worked in somehow, that would be great. But thats up to the programmers. I would also like to offer my services as CoWriter of the Story, script writer, and Story Editor, if you need them. Just fire me a PM and we'll talk, because I've always wanted to work on a game! Let's do this. XDI didn't take it from Anubis; it's just something I could picture him saying. I wanted to sprite for the cut scenes, not the world, but it's your call. I was just going to throw it all in vector, and then rasterize my work. Not to mention Rocky's mad chill. :o Frag, the point was to HAVE the Nelvana references. That's what the game is about. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Pich - Apr. 15, 2009 I need as much help as I can with the story. Thanks Oh, I think we should keep Nelvana/Hasbro in there TBH, and just do something like what Deikalo said, not making it there fault in the end. EDIT: I was reading a full page of stuff, got mixed up, lol. You can sprite the cutscenes for sure. I hadn't realized you meant that. OzzySchach, what did you want to do, the same? Or would you mind doing something else? I change up my style sometimes. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Pich - Apr. 15, 2009 :o You are definitely in. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - flamerx1231 - Apr. 15, 2009 pichu please i can do back round drawing.not sprite.give me a chance ok. I think all applicants should have samples. There's too much competition to not demand samples. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - fragbait - Apr. 15, 2009 Well, we could do a Bob's Game type thing, where, we originally thought it was Nelvana, but they were being controlled by an evil entity of some sort.... also, Dani, keep working on your comic. I like the style. If you want a Sample, Pichu, of what I can do, give me a scenario, and a few days. I'll have an amazing sample for you. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - flamerx1231 - Apr. 15, 2009 got it. give me a day RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Deikailo - Apr. 15, 2009 (Apr. 15, 2009 3:10 AM)fragbait Wrote: Well, we could do a Bob's Game type thing, where, we originally thought it was Nelvana, but they were being controlled by an evil entity of some sort....I already pitched the idea of Dizzi being the evil mastermind a few pages ago. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Pich - Apr. 15, 2009 Yes, flamerx, I need an example of your work. Also, you can give me an example if you want fraigbait. IDK about a scenario, though. EDIT: ^^^I want to use that, BTW. Dizzi as a final boss would be awesome XD. Dizzi's motive: originally a super duper government secret AI, she used teh intarwebz to escape their databases...while one of the government agents connected to the intarwebz to check their myspace. Throw the new connection, Dizzi found her way to Nelvana. There, she found their latest project: dub Beyblade! She found a way to hypnotize the dubbers into putting her in the anime. She then traveled to Hasbro to implant her high frequency subliminal message device into the Beyblades. It wouldn't be long until she would conquer her creators: the human race. RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - Pich - Apr. 15, 2009 So.....You really need to take over the story for this. You are much more creative and funny than me XD. And that sounds really good. =) RE: WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG Community Project- claim your job! - fragbait - Apr. 15, 2009 I'll write a scene, in script format, of the main character's meeting with Dizzi. Gimme a few days...I like to work on my pieces for a bit. |
