RE: General GFX Thread - Gripsocks - Oct. 25, 2011 (Oct. 25, 2011 8:39 PM)Taj12 Wrote:(Oct. 22, 2011 3:58 AM)othellog Wrote: I made this for my friend in Brazil:This got lost a while back, but I forgot to ask, how did you make that render outline? Did you simply use the pen tool or was there more to it? Lmfao the pentool? It's a lot easier than that. The renders before transformed are always bigger than the actual sig so that explains how the outlines can be larger than the finished render. Now, to make the outline all you have to do is select the outline, and move it so that the marque forms around the render perfectly, then make a new layer with the selection still intact and fill it with the color of your choice. Once you have a colored silhouette all you have to do is select the silhouette just like you did with the render and go Select > Modify > Contract and choose how many pixels the selection should contract, then hit delete. RE: General GFX Thread - RedMockingjay - Oct. 25, 2011 This is an Afterglow Effects tut I followed. It's pretty basic, but I'm still getting use to it. Afterglow Effects (Click to View) RE: General GFX Thread - MetalStrike - Oct. 25, 2011 Redbird: Ah, I know that tut. You did really good. A free-to-use 1280x850px Lamborghini Aventador's wallpaper (huge picture: (Click to View) This is my 2nd Wallpaper ever, I lost the link to 1st one's. C&C for me to improve, thanks. RE: General GFX Thread - RedMockingjay - Oct. 25, 2011 @Challenge!: Thanks. I also like your wallpaper that you altered. It's really good. When I use the pen tool it leaves part of the background with it. Is that okay or is there another way to cut out the render without any of the background on the render. RE: General GFX Thread - Sparta - Oct. 25, 2011 Made this for halloween. [Image: halloweensig.png] Yeah, I did take the Soul Eater moon and play around with it. C+C? RE: General GFX Thread - othellog - Oct. 26, 2011 Ahh Sparta that looks pretty good to me... Just made this: [Image: quetz.png] What do you think? RE: General GFX Thread - JCx06 - Oct. 26, 2011 Sparta: i think the focal is supposed to be the moon and you could make the moon brighter and the background darker. But still pretty good othellog: looks great! any tut? A great balance, I also like the colour scheme. CnC's on my current signature, per chance? RE: General GFX Thread - RedMockingjay - Oct. 26, 2011 Here is the link: http://psd.tutsplus.com/tutorials/tutorials-effects/advanced-glow-effects/ I got the name wrong. Its Advanced Glow Effects ...*facepalm* Also I still need advice about cutting with the pentool. I always get part of the background on the render I'm cutting out. RE: General GFX Thread - MetalStrike - Oct. 26, 2011 Redbird, I think you have to set the Fill's opacity on 0%. RE: General GFX Thread - RedMockingjay - Oct. 26, 2011 How do I set the Fill's Opacity to zero? Can you post a screen shot of the icon to click. RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladerPotter - Oct. 26, 2011 [Image: di-LT7X.png] [Image: di-9U28.png] Random stuff...Both are made by pentool and brushes. How is it. RE: General GFX Thread - Sparta - Oct. 26, 2011 Some of your better work...but what does the background have to do with the render? RE: General GFX Thread - Medz - Oct. 27, 2011 They're PSD's....what use would they be if they were in a normal image format...? Quick thing: [Image: nb6avp.png] RE: General GFX Thread - othellog - Oct. 27, 2011 Its not a photo file dude... A PSD can only be opened by photoshop, and it can be a big file. And you can't upload PSD's to imageshack. RE: General GFX Thread - NoodooSoup - Oct. 27, 2011 (Oct. 27, 2011 12:19 AM)Dan Wrote: Why can't you upload it with Imageshack or some other media uploader?
