RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Voltage - Dec. 05, 2012 @BladerPegasis Pretty much basalt anything dominates the hasbro meta. Thats why we were looking for counters. The No.1 Blader cosmic has been tested and it was determined that it pretty much sucks. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Rush - Dec. 05, 2012 Hm, MF Earth 230MB could work as a replacement to Basalt? RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Voltage - Dec. 05, 2012 I mean earth is good but it cant beat basalt. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Rush - Dec. 05, 2012 No, not as a counter, just as a mid-height stamina counter due to the grinding effect. E.G. it would probably beat Basalt AD145WD (correct if wrong) because it hits the Clear Wheel, not the Metal Wheel <--- Grinding effect right there. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Voltage - Dec. 05, 2012 I will test it RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - PhantomX - Dec. 06, 2012 I guess we'll just have to wait until Hyperblades release. Can you try Gravity Perseus BD145mf for me? RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - R3DX - Dec. 06, 2012 I can do some real tests when I get home, but in hasbro MXS(no craters) I was using MF l-drago destructor 230 EDS (all hasbro) against MF twisted tempo tr145/r145 rf/r2f/mf/wf and LDD won atleast 9 straight matches against rf and beat the living hell kerbecs out of mf and r2f, RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! I'll try that later, but I doubt L drago destructor 230 EDS can do that good against basalt. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! The only reason is because every time Ldd would get smashed back it would hit the wall instead of the pocket, in bb-10 it's a different case it just goes out RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - R3DX - Dec. 08, 2012 Okay so I retested with a new rf and not my hasbro rf that is super worn down, and with tr its 50/50 with r145 LDD is slightly better RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - beycrafter01 - Dec. 08, 2012 Scythe Kronos 230WD Even though I only own the Hasbro version of Scythe Kronos T125EDS, the fusion wheel has served well in this combo more than any other. I chose Scythe Kronos because, yet 230 is meant to avoid contact, in case of wobbling, it need defenses. Flame and Hyper and all of those other fusion wheels that rise high above expose 230 to enable its purpose, but fail when they start wobbling over and taking hits. Hasbro Scythe Kronos, even with the usual defect of being hollow due to the TT version being 4D, works well as a protective dome. Some maybe asking: "Well why not use Gravity, as well? It's as much a dome as Scythe." Well, Scythe is bigger, and more outspread. Gravity curves into the track, and has the holes for the Destroyer ring. Plus, Gravity is smaller and outclassed. I know this doesn't seem like a worthy combo, based on how most Hasbro Metal Furys are too hallow or light. And also that WD has recently been outclassed. And I am aware that most of my previous combos haven't been the best. But those previous ones I realize were just 1-hit wonders, and I've progressed to further look into the survival and potential of worthy combos. And from this combo's tests that I have conducted and will post, you will see how successful it is. I chose WD not for just its somewhat stamina, but for its wideness and endurance. I tried using MB wth this combo because I figured its spheric mold would give it some wobble-time like WD, and increase stamina. But sadly, it wasn't the case. WD is wide enough to last long, as this is one of its main purposes for being a wide tip. Scythe Kronos 230WD vs Twisted Kerbecs D125WD Scythe Kronos Win Rate: 75% Scythe Kronos 230WD vs Hell Gasher BD145CS Scythe Kronos Win Rate: 100% Scythe Kronos 230WD vs Earth Tempo S130WD Scythe Kronos Win Rate: 75% Scythe Kronos 230WD vs TakaraTomy MF VariAres LW105LF Scythe Kronos Win Rate: (left)75% (right)100% There will be more test results up tomorrow. If you have any requests to really prove this combo's worth, please post them. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Kujikato - Dec. 08, 2012 I'm finding the results to a tad funky... Scythe 230, especially on WD, should be easily KOed by something like Gravity Perseus R145 R2F, try that RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - beycrafter01 - Dec. 08, 2012 I don't have an R145 or R2F. But this Hasbro combo works well. When it was against my Takara VariAres combo, VariAres went "hardcore explosion" on Kronos, but Kronos was still spinning smoothly. And considering Hasbro Scythe is hallow and thin, and 230 is easily put off balance if the energy ring is bashed on the edge, it's quite impressive to see that it stuck out well. I have discovered that a TakaraTomy MF VariAres CH120CS would be better for testing other beys, so I'll run more tests involving that combo against Kronos, and will post the results. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - BeybladePants11 - Dec. 08, 2012 So I am thinking of posting in this thread. So just a question. Can Hasbro parts only be used? EDIT:Wait nevermind RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Thunder Dome - Dec. 10, 2012 R3DX I tried your L Drago Destructor 230 EDS. It didn't perform well. Gear Launcher grip String launcher Left spin launcher Super Vortex stadium Twisted Tempo TR145 R2F VS L drago Destructor 230 EDS Twisted:20 L drago:0 L drago win percentage 0% So it's not as great as you said it was. I think we should work on a new Tier List. The one in the OP is outclassed. Any ideas? I'll try to get one up soon. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Raigeko13 - Dec. 10, 2012 With Hyperblades coming out, think it would be alright to update it with those? I can definitely make an easy to follow tier list with those, it essentially a slightly outdated metagame. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - KainHighwind - Dec. 10, 2012 Raigeko13, What about for people that have stadiums without pockets? I am seriously hoping that the Hyper Strike Stadium will be widely available enough that most everyone will have access to a stadium with pockets, and we can just make that a standard (assuming it has at least some slope to it). RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - Raigeko13 - Dec. 10, 2012 Such as the SVS? There will be one for those as well, obviously. Things like the Half Pipe stadiums, and those other ones that are different, like the Rip Gringd, and Graffiti Den, I will need help with, as I've never even used them. NO clue what they're like, or what works in them. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - KainHighwind - Dec. 10, 2012 Yes, like the SVS. Rip Grind, Graffiti Den, Hades Gate, Meteor Fire, Cosmic Pegasus, Volcano Vortex, Darkhelm, etc. I have the Rip Grind, and Meteor Fire, so if there are any specific things you need with those once I get some Hyperblades, let me know. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - beycrafter01 - Dec. 11, 2012 R3DX The fact that spin-stealer wheels and wheels that're similar to VariAres' characteristics don't do well on 230 is what's going against the LDD 230EDS. If you want the opponent to hit most of the rubber, the highest I suggest is a 160-type track. Also, spiked tips, thin tips, and speedy tips don't work well with 230 either, just in case you didn't know. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! And the reason it did well is because twisted would hit the middle and slow down then be unable to hit hard enough to know LDD out. With WF it changed and twisted does amazing so it's most likely my worn RF or WF is better in hasbro RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable! Updates!! - DrPepsidew - Dec. 11, 2012 I thought EDS came with Has. Scythe Kronos? RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Alpha-Stage Tier List Avaliable!
