I've got an idea for a Sparking Phoenix:
Eternal Phoenix Kou Friction'
Okay so the gimmick here is that it has armor, similar to its predecessors ( Revive/Dead Phoenix ). Now the gimmick on that armor is that its free-spinning at first, then after two clicks it'd hit the tabs, making two small prongs ( similar to the prongs that'd release Revive/Dead Phoenix's armor ) pop out of the gap where the Armor ring is held and the Eternal Ring's inner layer would spin rapidly ( similar to the Volcano ring ) to shoot it out and reveal the inner layer.

Well let's say the gap that's supposed to hold the Armor is as long as the whole Ring's circumference so it can move freely.

Even then, the armor wouldn’t be able to pop off because of the way the armor locked in the first place. If it was free spin, the movement of the armor would be unpredictable and the prongs wouldn’t be able to shoot it out.
