Showdown! The Explosive Match!
Alfred and Jo stood on opposite sides of the stadiums, beys ready, confident, and ready to battle. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Alfred and Jo shout as they launch their beys. They clash in the middle of the stadium. Byxis pushes Cancer back. "GO NOW!" Alfred shouts. Jo was busy paying attention to the crowd and showing off. "Hey ladies!" He said, waving to a bunch of fan girls. "Pay attention!" Alfred angrily screams at Jo, but Jo was in his own little world. "Finish this already, Byxis." Alfred says as Byxis blasts out Cancer. Jo doesn't realize he lost until the girls stop screaming for him. He looks down in shock. "NOOOOO!" He exclaims and picks up Cancer. He walks away angrily.
"Your turn, Karan." Alfred says when he gets up to the stand. Karan nods and starts walking towards the stadium Kouji is walking up, too. "It's been awhile, my friend." Kouji says, laughing. "It has." Karan responds as he readies L-Drago. Kouji readies Pisces. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouts. "3! 2! 1!" We all shout. "GO SHOOT!" Karan and Kouji exclaim as they launch their beys. They pass each other and land on opposite sides. "GO!" Karan exclaims. Pisces was sitting in the middle. L-Drago started spinning towards it, but as soon as it gets there, it slips through Pisces. "Huh?" Karan mumbles. "Again!" He shouts and L-Drago goes in for an attack, but the same thing happens.
"It truly has been a long time, Karan." Kouji says. "It seems you've forgotten about my special move." He smiles. "I won't lose!" Karan shouts as L-Drago goes in for an attack. L-Drago has the orange aura around him. L-Drago makes contact with Pisces, causing a huge explosion. Kouji's red cloak flew into the air. "Alright!" Karan shouts. The smoke clears. Kouji is still standing and Pisces is still spinning. His metal arm is revealed. He takes off his gloves.
"Things are getting serious." I think. Kouji claps his hands together and a blue lightning-energy is created. It goes to his metal arm and he uses it to make a star in the air. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Kouji shouts. "PISCES DEMINSION DISTORTER!" Pisces lets out some kind of shock wave. The arena is transported to another place. It's just our team and the Japanese team. "W-what is this?!" Karan exclaims, looking panicked. "Ha!" Kouji says. "Illusions. That's what this is." Pisces attacks L-Drago.
"He has the advantage here..." Karan mumbles. "What is this... I've got it!" Karan's hands set on fire. "Go L-Drago! Special move! Dragon Supreme Meteor Blast!" Karan shoots the fire at L-Drago. L-Drago sets ablaze and starts spinning around Pisces at high speeds. "A vacuum!" I tell Alfred. "He needs that!" The regular arena comes back. "GO!!!" Karan shouts as his aura appears. "SHOW THEM THE POWER OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR!" L-Drago smashes into Pisces, causing a huge explosion.
"L-DRAGO!!!!" Karan shouts as another explosion happens. This is followed by another series of explosions. The beast of L-Drago appears, then disappears. The sound of a dragon's roar fills the arena. Everyone goes silent. The smoke clears. Karan is in some kind of shock. So is Kouji. Both of them are scratched up and twitching. Their pupils have disappeared. The smoke clears in the stadium. Both beys are barely spinning. "C'mon Karan!" I think. Karan starts falling down and so does Kouji. The fall to their knees and then to the ground completely. Both beys stop spinning. The battle ends in a tie.

The Death of Kiku Honda
Alfred and I ran up to Karan. "Karan! Wake up!" I shouted. He was out, cold. The medics came and took them away. Kiku and Jo were by Kouji. When they took him away, Kiku pointed to me. "Shawn. It is time to battle!" I looked up and nodded. "Good luck." Alfred said. We fist bumped and he walked away. Kiku readied his bey, and so did I. "Bladers ready!" The ref shouted. The crowd was silent this time. "3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!" Kiku and I exclaimed as we launched our beys. They collided in the middle, filling the arena with the echo of clashing beys. The crowd was on the edge of our seat. "Why is it so quiet?" I wondered. Then I realize. If I lose, we won't make it to the finals.
"Go! Quetzalcoatl!" Kiku shouted. Quetzalcoatl attacked Eagle ferociously. "A barrage attack!" I think. "EAGLE GET OUT OF THERE!" I shout. Eagle gets away, but Quetzalcoatl is after him. "Go!" Kiku shouts as Quetzalcoatl starts leaving a trail of some golden aura. "Back stadium, Eagle!" I shout. Eagle goes to the middle of the stadium. Oddly, Quetzalcoatl doesn't follow. It makes a giant circle with the aura. "Now!" Kiku exclaims as Quetzalcoatl goes in for the kill. "Eagle! Get away! Now!" I shout. Eagle starts going for the edge of the stadium. He smashes right into the stuff and is blasted back. "What! How!?" I exclaim.
As Eagle flies back, he smashes into another barrier that was in mid-air. I stand there in shock. "Ha! My bey's special ability made it impossible for your Eagle to fly. A huge dome barrier is revealed. "Special move!" Kiku shouts. A blank expression comes across his face. Like the one Karan described. He puts his hand in the air. "Snake eyes." He says. Some kind of wave of energy comes out from Quetzalcoatl. Eagle gets stuck in it's place. "Huh?!" I mumble and look down. My body is starting to get covered in rock. "WHAT THE HECK?!" I shout.
It starts covering me. "Let me go!" I shout. I can't move. The beast of Quetzalcoatl surrounds me. "Eagle!" I shout. I see his beast in the air, but Quetzalcoatl's surrounds it. Eagle turns to stone. "STOP IT!" I shout. Kiku lets out an evil laugh. "How does it feel?!" He asks. "How does it feel to lose! You are worthless!" That's it. That's what triggers my anger. "I.. Won't... LOSE!" I shout and break free. "GO NOW EAGLE!" Eagle breaks free, causing a huge explosion. Kiku and I are transported to space. We're standing there. It's just us.
He looks shocked. He looks are, sacred. "W-What is this?!" He asks. I walk towards him. "Get a hold of yourself, Kiku. From how Karan described you." I say. "You're letting your Beyblade control you." His eyes widen. He's back to normal. "Please calm down. Consider this the death of you being controlled." I smile. He smiles. "You need to control your bey. Not let the bey be the controller." He nods. "Yes. Now, let's finish this." We return to the arena, like nothing happened. The barrier is still there. "NOW EAGLE!" I shout. "SPECIAL MOVE!" Eagle goes to the middle. "MEGA TORNADO BLASTER!" Wind surrounds Eagle as he builds up power. "Stop him, Quetzalcoatl!" Kiku shouts. Quetzalcoatl hits Eagle, only to be blown away. "Now!" I shout.
A huge tornado erupts from Eagle. It gets caught on the top of the barrier. "BREAK FREE!" I shout. A purple aura is starting at the top of the tornado. It can't get out. "WE WON'T LOSE! WE CAN'T LOSE! GO NOW!" Eagle sends out a shock wave. It bursts through the top of the barrier and disappears. “FLY EAGLE!” I shout. Eagle soars into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE! CROSS WOND DESTROYER!" I shout. Eagle sets on fire and starts coming down. "WE WON'T LOSE EITHER!" Kiku shouts as Quetzalcoatl flies into the air. "SPECIAL MOVE! ACIENT ROCK SMASH!" Quetzalcoatl is surrounded by a gold aura.
Our beys collide in mid air. They try overpowering one another. "GOOOOO!!!" We both shout. Eagle powers up more. "EAGLE! BLOW THEM ALL AWAY!" A tornado surrounds Eagle as he breaks through Quetzalcoatl. Eagle takes him down with him. They smash into the stadium, causing a huge explosion. Kiku and I are blown back. I smash into the wall. "Shawn!" Alfred shouts and runs down to me. As the smoke clears, it is obvious who won.
Eagle is still spinning in the middle of the stadium. Quetzalcoatl is next to him. Not spinning and smashed through the ground of the stadium. Kiku gets up and limps over to the stadium, and so do I. I catch Eagle. Kiku limps to the middle of the stadium to get his bey. I go down, as well. "Kiku." I say to him. "That was awesome." He nods. "Thank you for making me realize who I truly am." He says. I smile. He picks up his bey.
"This is the death of me. The old me. Kiku Honda has be reborn." He says and puts out his hand to shake. We shake hands. "You are an amazing blader, Shawn." I smile. "So are you." I say. "And don't forget that." "I won't." He responds. "You can trust me on that." We climb out of the stadium. We look at each other and nod. I hold up Eagle. "The winner is Eagle!" The ref shouts and the crowd roars. "I can't believe it..." I think. "We've made it to the finals, Eagle."

The Fall of Legends
We arrived in Russia. "The final battle!" I said to Karan and Alfred. "I can't wait! Let's go find the arena!" They nod in agreement. We grab our things and put on our jackets. As we run out the door, we see a giant television. We take a second to stop and watch. "Alright! The final battle is here!" The Russian ref said. "Will the Americans stand a chance against our own," He took a second to pause and a black screen came up. "Ivan Braginski!" A young man with silvery-gray hair and purple eyes comes up. He has a scarf covering his mouth and nose. "Natalia Arlovskaya!" A teenage girl comes up. She, too, has silvery-gray hair, but has deep blue eyes. She has a white bow in her hair.
"Let's go!" Alfred says and runs off. Karan follows. "Wait!" I shout. "What about the other member?!" I turn back around but some Russian vodka commercial is on. I run to catch up to them. "Wait up guys!" They stop in place suddenly. I stop, too. "Look at that!" Karan points to a huge blast of purple energy. The beast of Kronos appears. "That must be the stadium!" Alfred says. They start walking but I grab them by the shoulder. "Guys. That beast was Kronos." I tell them. "That may mean one thing." Then we all realized. "Ludwig!" We started running towards the stadium.
That's when we heard it. A wolf's howl. "Roderich!" We speed up. Then the sound of someone shooting an arrow. "Feliciano!" Then the smell of smoke and the sound of something burning. "Yao!" And the sound of a snake's hiss. "Kiku!" We speed up. We get to the doors of the arena and run right through them. We come to the opening to the stadium. We walk towards the light. "Hey guys!" We shout. But we walk in to the most horrible thing we've ever seen.
All of our friends. Laying on the ground, with their beys and torn up flags beside them. The only two left standing were Ludwig and Roderich. Just barely. "Ludwig!" He turns his head. "Help the others!" "But-" "NOW!" He shouts, cutting me off. "Alfred, get Feliciano. Karan, get Kiku. I've got Yao." They nod and run to help them. I get to Yao. He's covered in cuts and bruises. He's also shivering. "Yao! Wake up!" He can't wake up. It's like an internal darkness. "Please, Yao! Wake up!" I say. He doesn't respond. I feel him going cold. I look up to the stands. There are the other team members.
I see Wang and Daiyu. They stand there, in tears and scared. "Yao! You have to wake up!" I feel the tears in my eyes. "Wake up Yao!" I feel a tear fall from my cheek. It lands on Yao's forehead. I feel him shiver. Then he stops. He opens his eyes. "S-Shawn..." He says, weakly. I smile. "Yao! You're ok!" "I let my country down, Shawn." My smile fades into a frown. "You fought hard." I say. "Now let's get up from here." I help him up and we walk over to Karan and Alfred.
We look back to the battle. "Kronos!" Ludwig shouts. "Wolf!" Roderich shouts. His hair is white instead of black. "Go. Nemesis." The other blader shouts. "It's that guy from earlier." I say to the others. "Ivan Braginski." They nod. A huge blast of darkness comes from the stadium. We struggle to keep our ground. It hits Ludwig and Roderich. "NO!" I shout. I hear Elizabeta scream in pain. The smoke clears. The Austrian flag is laying on the ground, in pieces. Same with the German flag.
The other teams burst into tears. So do we. Ludwig and Roderich start falling backwards. "NO!" I shout. "Go help them!" Yao shouts and lets go of me. I run over and catch them both. "L-Ludwig?" I ask staring at him. No response. I look to Roderich. "R-Roderich?" Still no response. They're cold. "They're... Dead." I say. Elizabeta falls to the ground. "NO! MY RODERICH IS DEAD!" She shouts. The other team members try helping her. I look to Ivan.
"YOU MONSTER!" I shout. "YOU WILL PAY FOR KILLING MY FRIENDS!" He catches his bey and the other two team members walk up behind them. "I highly doubt that." he says in a cold, Russian, accent. "Natalia. Fix Nemesis." The girl takes his bey and walks away. The last blader walks up. "No..." I say. "THIS CAN'T BE!" The last blader is Jake.

Questions and Answers
Alfred, Karan, all of the other team members, and I stood outside the emergency room. The doctor walks out. "We'll be keeping an eye on Ludwig and Roderich. The others are being moved to their rooms." He says. "You can talk to them when they are ready." We all sigh in relief. I look to Elizabeta, who is still pretty shaken up. Then to Gilbert, who is grieving over the loss of his brother. "Don't worry." I say to them. They look up. "I swear. I will get them their lives back! If it's the last thing I do! I swear it!"
They smile. "Thanks, little bro." Gilbert says and pats me on the head. Everyone laughs. The nurse walks up. "They are ready to speak with you." She says. "Please follow me to their room." She walks away and we all follow. She brings us to their room. "They requested to speak with the American Team, first." I look to Alfred and Karan. They nod in agreement. With that being said, we walk in.
Kiku is reading manga. Feliciano is poking at is cast on him arm. Yao is drinking some type of herbal tea. Feliciano looks up. "Hey you guys!" He says, which cause Kiku and Yao to look up. Yao and Kiku smile. Kiku points at his neck then shakes his head. "What he's trying to say is," Yao says. "He can't talk." Karan gasps. "Don't worry." Yao says. "Our friend should be fine." Kiku smiles as if saying, "Yes." I take a seat at the foot of Yao's bed. Alfred sits by Feliciano and Karan sits by Kiku.
"Why were you guys there?" I ask. "Ivan invited us to try and beat him." Yao says. "So we came." "But we were no match!" Feliciano chimes in. Kiku nods. "Our beys were badly damaged when they were defeated." Yao says and frowns. "We shouldn't have gone along with that! I will never forgive myself!" He slams his tea down, amazingly not getting any on the table. "I let myself, my team mates, and my country down! I am the disgrace in the very name of China!"
"Don't say that, Yao!" I say. Alfred stands up and walks over. "Take this." he says and gives him Blaze. Yao stares at it. "It's..." He says. "It's amazing! It looks brand new! I can't thank you enough, my friend." Alfred smiles. "Nothing a little work can do." He says. "I fixed Quetzalcoatl and Sagittario, too." He hands them to Kiku and Feliciano. "Yay! Thank you!" Feliciano says. Kiku lets out a sound of joy. We all laugh. Kiku smiles.
"Good luck in the finals, my friends." Yao says. "Just know that you have all of China backing you guys up." He gives us a thumbs up. "You have all of my home, Italy, aswell!" Feliciano says and smiles brightly. Kiku nods and gives a thumbs up. "Thanks guys." I say and take out Eagle. "I can already tell. This will be a battle I will never forget. Never"
