RE: What's your favourite/least favourite beyblade parts? - LeonTempest - Jan. 25, 2012 Semi-Flat is by far, my favorite tip, from all series. I prefer beys with aggresive, but reserved and controlled movement. Sharp tips/blade bases can go die in a hole. No bearings, no value. RE: What's your favourite/least favourite beyblade parts? - Lynxx - Jan. 25, 2012 Favourite: CH120 it's soooo useful along with RF. Trusty combination. Least favourite: BS. ![]() RE: What's your favourite/least favourite beyblade parts? - th!nk - Jan. 26, 2012 Plastic time! Favourites: AR's: Cross Griffon: The ultraviolent, ultrapowerful, ultra-underrated, ultra-good enough to get Hidden Spirits AR's legalised attack ring of fingerbreaking doom. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 G Upper: I do so love underrated and overlooked AR's, it really is exceptionally designed, if only it were right-spin... Triple Tiger: So much vertical range, and excellent smash. The Upper it brings to the table is real handy too. Triangle Wing: Just a little more aggressive than Upper Dragoon, and it just looks absolutely fantastic. Weight Disks: Wide Defense: The Swiss Army knife of weight disks, it can be used on everything short of compacts to great effect. Wide Survivor: It's perfectly round dammit, and sometimes you need the extra stamina it provides, even for attackers. Bases/Setups: SG Metal Change: UNNNGGGH SO GOOD. The perfect tip design, why the hell we don't have an MFB one I will never know. SG Grip Change Base (tip): The fastest tip in plastics, in attack mode. Man I hope the setup I found gets legalized. SG Metal Flat 2: So versatile, probably my favourite conventional smash base, it allows the "stopping power" that was a big part of smash attack in plastics to shine to the highest degree. Cross Griffon+Wide Def+MG Core+SG MF2= Extremely Cross Griffon. Defense Grip Base 2+ Left SG (Free Shaft Ver)+Full Auto Clutch Shaft: Oh hey just flipping upper attack onto it's opposite side for you, don't mind me bro. Customize Bearing Base (particularly with the Uriel 2 setup, or Full Auto Clutch Shaft): Because seriously guys stop putting FAC shaft in CGB that's dumb yo. And obviously SG GRIP CHANGE BASE TIP OMGHGHGHGHGHGHH Sup guise, reckon you can guess my favourite type? Least Favourite: AR's: There aren't any I particularly dislike. Wyborg's is pretty bad, and Cybernetic Dragon is the most disappointing one I've used, but I don't really dislike them. Oh, here we go: Panther Head: It's the wrong way round and it sucks. Whatever Wolborg's AR is: See above. WD's: Wide Attack: I was pretty sure it wouldn't be good, but I could never prepare for just how disappoint this son made me. Bases: Storm Grip: Ridiculously overrated, look at the tip! It's TINY! It's so slow, I mean, being low and all is great but with an HMC, 10 Heavy and Upper Dragoon you may as well be using Defense Grip Base. It's not a bad base, but the amount of praise it gets is just mindblowingly unwarranted. Here's my script of a meeting between Grip Base and Storm Grip Base: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Dragoon-V2-BB-Rewrite?pid=883812#pid883812 Griffolyon Base: See my griffolyon draft. It is The Worst base, if not the worst part, in plastics. They set out to make the worst base possible and succeeded. Violently. If there was any other reason, the entire design team probably died of shame. Switch Metal Ball Base: "Hey guys we could make a great weight-based-defence base that can use SP, or we could hock out a pile of fail with excessively light weight and the second dumbest tip shape short of Griffolyon's turd of a tip." Guess which they went for? Engine Gear compatible Bases: What's the best progression from the best series of beyblades ever produced in terms of customisation with SP and so on? REPLACE BASES WITH HUGE, USELESS CHUNKS OF PLASTICS AND LIMIT CUSTOMISATION! Nice going, Takara.
