how did you get riako to get like that?
simple first he re-colours the sprite, after thats complete he saves and uploads to a software, then colours the area he wants to have the glow in a Bright colour, next he blurs...

@LibraEagle and CRU. Try and get rid of the outline on the sprite when you are recolouring. Otherwise it's not going to look as good as it could.
well at least thats what I think he did, Correct me if I'm wrong ControL_Soul_...
There is actually no blur at all. I just picked 3 shades of blue and layered them in lines around the body of the sprite so when you zoom out it looks like a fading glow.
@LE & CRU. Get rid of the original outline color of the pokemon you are recoloring. The sprite won't look as good if you don't.

Interesting, never thought it would be done that way, as it would be difficult to get a decent blend of colour... but it works...

LibraEagle, you should recolor the borders. It doesn't look too great when they aren't recolored.
ryuga1234 Right click it and there should be "save image/target as".

No, I mean the Rayquaza still has green borders in places (I zoomed in for the fun of it and saw them) which should have been recolored along with the rest of the pokémon

I got bored, so I recolored a Reshiram like the Indian flag. I still can't get the Ashoka Chakra (the circle in the center), but besides that...
