RE: General B-Daman Thread - ShinobuXD - Aug. 18, 2013 I'm getting a bit interested in B-Daman and wondering- what are some of the best B-Daman to get? They don't have to be released in the US btw, as I will order. RE: General B-Daman Thread - Dual - Aug. 18, 2013 Well I'm not sure how good it is, but Gatling=Deathshell is a cool B-Daman. I'd say get the Break Bomber, as I've suggested to other people in the thread, if you have a good amount of spending money. Sonic=Dravise would be a good buy too. Actually, it really depends on what type you want. RE: General B-Daman Thread - ShinobuXD - Aug. 18, 2013 OK, would I be able to make any good combos with Dracyan and Dravise? Or are either good uncustomized? RE: General B-Daman Thread - Dual - Aug. 18, 2013 Which ones? Theres Rising Dracyan and Accele Dracyan, as well as Rev Dravise and Sonic Dravise. The only one that I don't really think is that good out of those is Rev Dravise. RE: General B-Daman Thread - ShinobuXD - Aug. 18, 2013 Oh sorry, I meant the two from the Break Bomber set. RE: General B-Daman Thread - Dual - Aug. 18, 2013 Accele Dracyan is pretty good as far as Crossfire goes, but Rev Dravise isn't that great. RE: General B-Daman Thread - ShinobuXD - Aug. 18, 2013 Are Accele Dracyan and Rev Dravise the same as Thunder Dracyan and Lightning Dravise? And is there any difference between Hasbro and TT Break Bomber sets? RE: General B-Daman Thread - Dual - Aug. 18, 2013 Ah, yah, I just call them by original names, sorry. And no, the towers themselves are quite different, but they pretty much work the same way. RE: General B-Daman Thread - ShinobuXD - Aug. 18, 2013 No problem. OK, I'll probably get the Hasbro Break Bomber set then. Thanks! RE: General B-Daman Thread - Samurai_Ifraid1 - Aug. 18, 2013 Is it worth getting Drive=Garuburn as my 1st B-Daman? (It looks soo amazing!) RE: General B-Daman Thread - 6 God - Aug. 18, 2013 Yes it's great for beginners, so I've been told. RE: General B-Daman Thread - Samurai_Ifraid1 - Aug. 18, 2013 OK I'll probably get it then RE: General B-Daman Thread - Axel Phantom - Aug. 18, 2013 (Aug. 18, 2013 1:33 AM)Ultramarine Wrote: Accele Dracyan is pretty good as far as Crossfire goes, but Rev Dravise isn't that great. what are you talking about? dravise is awesome RE: General B-Daman Thread - Dual - Aug. 18, 2013 My friend has Rev and he said it was dismal. It might have just been a personal error. RE: General B-Daman Thread - MmechanicM - Aug. 19, 2013 Personal error or failure Of using it RE: General B-Daman Thread - MmechanicM - Aug. 19, 2013 By the way there are already B-DAMANS here in Philippines And sadly Dragold was OUT OF STOCK But I reserved one for Saturday RE: General B-Daman Thread - YggdrasilWyvern - Aug. 20, 2013 (Aug. 15, 2013 9:20 PM)~Mana~ Wrote: Okay, looks like I should start answering some posts. No offense Ultramarine but you aren't entirely correct. Thanks for the reply Mana XD Okay, now I think I'm really gonna get into these things. If I buy two (from the B-Daman Crossfire series), which ones would be the best choices? And should I buy Hasbro or TT? Takara-Tomy ones are actually cheaper than Hasbro on Amazon, so if they're better and cost less, then I'll probably go with TT. I went to a Walmart yesterday. Looks like Ohio finally got Shogun-Steel, Beywarriors, and B-Daman Crossfire. So excited! Anyway, I'll probably be buying some Beywarriors soon because I think they look really awesome. They're a lot smaller than I thought they would be. RE: General B-Daman Thread - ~Mana~ - Aug. 20, 2013 I would recommend picking up a Strike Cobra. It's roughly $3 more than a solus B-Daman but it comes with a nice barrel you can use. Takara-Tomy products are better than Hasbro ones performance-wise. Though, if you're gonna get a Break Bomber, Vertigo Spin or Surge Strike set, get them from Hasbro, since the Hasbro versions are ten times better than the originals (having plastic walls, smoother mechanisms etc). Just a note though, currently Dimsum2u is the cheapest place to buy B-Daman from, so I highly recommend taking a look at his wares. Lol Yes there are, they are called Strike Shots and only come with Battle B-Daman (Crash if Grenade Shot counts). Drive Shot - A plastic marble with a rubber strip for more spin Metal Shot - A B-Dama made of metal Speed Shot - A hollow (I think) plastic ball Stealth Shot - A clear Speed Shot Random Shot - A B-Dama made of half plastic and metal Spike Shot - A Drive Shot but with a spiky rubber strip Metal Spike Shot - Spike Shot but metal instead of rubber Impact Shot - A B-Dama made of PS (polystyrene) and is the only one that works decently with Cross Fight B-Damans Split Shot - A plastic B-Dama that splits releasing a metal ball Stealth Drive Shot - A clear version of a Drive Shot RE: General B-Daman Thread - SuperKirby64 - Aug. 21, 2013 Okay, another question: (It doesn't have to do with strike shots, so Mana, breathe a sigh of relief. XD ) Which drive strip wears off quicker? Takara Tomy's Accele? Or Hasbro's Accele? RE: General B-Daman Thread - Spdshadow - Aug. 21, 2013 Kinda depends on the material , I have a Takara one and so far it's doing quite good, it's firing the most powerful and fastest shots among my cores and the strip doesn't seem to be getting worn , only a little dirty once in a while but that easily gets cleaned. Anyway it's made of hard rubber, quality which Takara is known for. The drive strip will inevitably get worn eventually, so you might as well go for the superior choice. You should note that there Lightning and Thunder variants of Hasbro's Accele so there may (or not) be some difference. This is my first post in a long time so please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I hope you guys understand nonetheless. RE: General B-Daman Thread - MmechanicM - Aug. 21, 2013 (This is for Jericoluislua only) You can find b-damans in the philippines In SM San Fernando,Pampanga From Toy Kingdom or From the department store They sell b-damans for Php450 or Php500(starter packs) (Good luck if you're from a far place,:-D) RE: General B-Daman Thread - Karl - Aug. 22, 2013 (Aug. 21, 2013 6:55 AM)Spdshadow Wrote: Kinda depends on the material , I have a Takara one and so far it's doing quite good, it's firing the most powerful and fastest shots among my cores and the strip doesn't seem to be getting worn , only a little dirty once in a while but that easily gets cleaned.
