Yes
I don't have a problem with that personally but you might get in trouble for breaking the rules, so try to avoid it.
EDIT: This is going off-topic, it's PinkRose 's fanfic thread.

I love how PinkRose placed down the thing and how it was made, I really liked how you transformed my first phrase in my entry a story-telling feature (the "not expecting" part, big brain move gotta say), other things also impressed me, thats just an example (that probably nobody noticed).
Summary: PinkRose is very good.
(Note: You should DM the people to get information for writing the battles, like which bey mode (in some cases), movement pattern, strategy in each round (only the first round, the other rounds would be more of a guessing of what would the character do), but without one knowing the others plan (I mean the opponent(s) knowing), in this part of the challenge, both team members should know each other strat for better performance, I hope you get what I mean.)

Ngl I feel dumb cuz I can barely make out what the note's saying.
But if you mean that I should ask ppl about what modes and strategies the characters would choose...I'd say I'm giving myself a bit of liberty in that regard so I can actually write the battles like I imagined them (I already determined the results of the next 5 battles or so, yeah).

That work as well (plus I don't even know what I meant there(I'm lying I get what I meant now))

Chapter 2: Fight and Flight! Verdant Daedalus!
After the announcement ends and each team is informed of their matchups for the first round, everyone heads to find a training room for themselves. Droite skips into one of them and drops down on a bench at the corner of the room, closing his eyes and sighing happily.
"Man, this is gonna be awesome.." He mumbles to himself. Gregoire enters the room then, looking very clearly annoyed if his scowl was anything to go by.
"Couldn't you have at least said something before randomly disappearing from my sight?" He complains, and Droite's eyes pop open.
"Haha, uhhh..." the teen scratches his head and laughs nervously "Sorry about that, got distracted a bit."
Gregoire doesn't look too convinced, but he doesn't push the issue either, opting instead to walk over to the training stadium and launch his Bey into it "It's fine, just try not to do it again."
"Will do- I mean, I won't- I, uh...you get what I mean." Droite fidgets with his hands for a bit, before hopping off the bench and joining his teammate at the stadium. He watches Gregoire's Bey as it spins in the centre, and his eyes light up in wonder.
"Woah, that looks heavy." The blunette mutters, turning to Gregoire "Is it a Defense type?"
"Yes." The gray-haired Blader replies "This is Fort Golem, the heaviest Sparking Bey made to date."
"Wow, that's awesome!" Droite snatches Golem from the stadium, holding it up in the air and turning it in all angles "It even has a Dash Driver...a defense like this must be unbeatable!"
"Close, but no." Gregoire snatches the Bey back, a tick mark appearing on the side of his head "There's no such thing as an unbeatable Bey. Golem and I had our fair share of losses, and I definitely don't expect to win against everyone here- Hey, are you even listening?!"
"Huh? Uh, yeah!" Droite, who had been too busy staring at Golem, abruptly snaps to attention "I'm listening!"
Gregoire facepalms.
"Okay sooooooo, what are you planning to do in the battle?" The green-eyed Blader asks tentatively in an attempt to change the subject, and somehow, his teammate takes the bait.
"...I don't have anything that counts as a concrete plan, to be honest." He admits slowly, clipping Golem to his launcher and shooting it at the stadium again "Do you have any ideas to share?"
A nod "Yep! A lot of them, actually. For starters..."
"Wait, let me get this straight." Bahaa holds up his hand in a Stop gesture, staring at the redhead in front of him incredulously "You're going into the match without a strategy? At all?"
"Chill out, it's fine." Mizuki waves a dismissive hand from her spot on the bench "No need to get so worked up over the very first match, we still have four rounds to go."
"That doesn't mean you should just charge into battle blindly though," her brown-eyed teammate argues "you're basically setting yourself up for a loss that way!"
"Who said I was gonna do that?"
"You literally just did! Take this seriously, dammit!"
"And who said I'm not?" Mizuki smiles coyly, and Bahaa groans in defeat.
"I- You- Ugh, screw this." He throws both hands in the air, closing his eyes and leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He opens them a few moments later and shoots his teammate a half-hearted glare.
"You're gonna be such a pain to work with, you know."
Mizuki shrugs in response, yellow eyes twinkling with amusement "Hm, I've been told that a lot."
Bahaa groans again, but his lips curve upwards a bit "I can't believe I'll be stuck with you for the next four battles...but I can deal with that. Seriously though, we have to at least know what our own Beys do so we don't go around bumping into each other during the match."
"Fair enough." The Balance Blader hums, hand reaching into her jacket's pocket and pulling out a circular Bey colored in shades of blue, silver and gold "So this is Moon Pandora. It's a Balance type, spins to the right, has rubber and a bit of metal...oh, and it can switch between Attack and Stamina Mode. Anything else you need to know?"
"Nope, all good." Bahaa nods, reaches into his own pocket-
DUN-DU-BA-DU-BA-DU-BA-DUN-DUN!!
-and promptly yelps in surprise at the very loud ringing of his phone. The brunette quickly fishes out the phone, swiping a finger across its screen to turn the alarm off. Mizuki snickers into her hand, and he shoots her another glare.
"...We're not gonna talk about this." He says with a hint of embarrassment, hastily shoving the phone back into his pocket as he heads to the door and motions for her to follow "The match starts in five minutes, so I'll just show you my Bey on the way or something."
"Sure thing, Brownie. Lead the way." She replies with a smile, and the two start walking down the corridor to the main arena.

"Did you just call me Brownie?"
"Alright peeps, Round One of the first stage starts now!" Pink announces from her seat at the commentary box, and cheers erupt from the stands below in response "All battles will be using the good ol' Ultimate Storm stadium, so think twice before charging in, Bladers!"
The pinkette smiles before carrying on "Now, without further ado, the first match of Round One is..."
A pause, and the lights in the arena go out, immediately followed by two spotlights shining on opposite ends of the place, one red and one blue, as the two teams of Bladers walk onto the stage.
"Gregoire Ferrier and Droite Vireir VS Otsuka Mizuki and Bahaa Said!"
Cheers erupt from the stands once again when the four Bladers make it to the centre of the arena, and a one green-haired teen crosses his arms.
"Don't you dare screw up here, Vireir" Falkor huffs "I didn't come all the way here to see you lose in the very first round."
Down below, both teams exchange glances. Droite grins to himself, brushing away a strand of his hair.
"Let's have a fun battle, 'kay?" He says, prompting his teammate and opponents to smile.
"We're taking you guys down!" Bahaa exclaims as everyone takes out their launchers "Don't hold back or you're screwn!"
"Same goes for you." Gregoire replies. The two Defense Bladers stare each other down with challenging looks, then Bahaa casts a subtle glance in Droite's direction before disassembling his Bey and flipping its Ring, then reassembling it.
So you're going with Left Spin to counter the Attack type, eh? Mizuki thinks, twisting the tip of her own Bey's Driver. In that case, I'll deal with the Defense one. Stamina Mode it is.
Both teammates nod at the ref, who takes that as a signal to start the match.
"Tag Battle!" He declares, holding his hand over the stadium before immediately withdrawing it "Ready? Set!"
"3!"
All Bladers clip their Beys on the launchers, the sound of clicks resonating in the air between them.
"2!"
Bahaa swings his hands sideways, Gregoire's hand tightens on the winder, and their teammates remain unmoving...
"1!"
Then Droite notices Mizuki throwing her launcher to her left hand-
Wait, what?!
-and quickly looks back down to his own launcher, hastily tugging on its string with all the force he could muster as all players simultaneously yell out "GO...Shoot!"
Sparks fly everywhere as the four Beys land on the stadium with a noticeable thud, Daedalus and Golem racing in the same direction while Bastet and Pandora move opposite from each other, the Beys leaving behind them glowing trails of blue, green, gold and silver respectively.
"Phew," Droite sighs quietly, relieved that he didn't mess up his launch. He watches as the Beys continue spinning around the outer rim of the stadium, Daedalus climbing the lower slope just at the same time as Bastet. Out of the corner of his eye, he thinks he can see Bahaa smirking.
"Gotcha." The Egyptian thrusts his hand out as he calls out a command "Go, Bastet! Swinging Drain!"
Both Beys collide, with Bastet's rubber nullifying any damage its Right-spin opponent would have inflicted and sending it skidding backwards. Daedalus wobbles for a second, and Bastet slams into it again, knocking it further back. Droite watches in mild distress as Bastet drives Daedalus off the slope, both Beys dropping back into the stadium as they clash continously. He doesn't miss the subtle drop in Daedalus' speed; that must be the work of the Swing Ring.
"Come on, get out of there!" He yells out to his Bey. The Attack type tries tilting to the side to avoid Bastet's assault, but it's no use; the Defense Bey intercepts it all the same and unleashes a barrage of quick attacks, never missing a single hit...
...at least, not until something green, gray and very heavy slams into it from behind.
"What the-"
"Your opponent is right here!" Gregoire proclaims as Golem blocks Bastet's attack, giving Droite a quick nod as his Bey uses the distraction to escape "Come on kid, stop wasting time and move it already!"
Droite stares for a second, then he smiles gratefully "Thanks, I owe you one." He says, before turning his attention back to the battle "Let's go, Daedalus! Attack!"
Daedalus accelerates onto the slope once again, propelling itself forward with renewed speed as sparks of blue light follow it. The dragon Bey sets its sight on Pandora- which was smoothly drifting down to the center- and jumps off the slope, hovering in the air for a few seconds before coming back down to strike. Mizuki only smiles at the action, wagging a finger in the air.
"Thanks, but I'm not really in the mood to take that." She says coolly as a red aura shimmers around her with streaks of yellow "You know what do do, Pandora!"
The Balance Bey veers off to the right in an abrupt motion, narrowly avoiding Daedalus as it lands on the stadium. The sudden impact causes it to slow down for a few moments and break its spiral pattern, instead spinning straight to the centre where Pandora awaits, gracefully gliding around the storm plate.
"Don't let up! Keep going!" Droite calls out to his Bey. Undeterred by its first failure, the Attack type charges into the plate, letting loose a powerful assault from all angles without giving Pandora any chance to respond. They collide once, twice, thrice, four times....but somehow, the moon Bey remain completely unscathed despite all the attacks, and even with the speed boost from the storm plate, Daedalus starts running out of steam.
And that's when its owner realizes exactly what's going on.
"..This is a trap." Droite mumbles slowly, green eyes going wide "You're just stalling out until we run out of stamina!"
"Bingo," Mizuki winks "but sadly, you figured it out a bit late. Unless you manage to break Pandora's Allure Lock in time, this match is as good as ours. Right, partner?"
She turns to Bahaa, who only gives an absent nod, too focused on his own mini-battle. Bastet and Golem keep circling each other on the other end of the stadium, occasionally making contact then breaking off and starting again, albiet much slower than in the beggining. The two Beys seem to be spinning at the same speed at this point, and there's no telling which one would spin out first. Knowing she wouldn't get more of a response at the moment, Mizuki returns to watching Daedalus struggling to keep up with her Bey while Droite bites his lip nervously.
Ooookay...the French thinks, eyes continously flickering between the centre and the outer rim of the stadium I can't exactly win a battle of stamina as things stand right now, so I'll have to go with plan B. It's pretty risky, but if I wait any longer I'll lose my chance...
He glances at Gregoire and raises two fingers, to which the gray-haired man nods, mouthing 'Go for it.'
Alright then, let's do this!
"Full speed ahead, Daedalus!" He yells out as his aura rises up in a storm of green and blue, his Bey taking on the same shade of color and shooting off the storm plate "ATTACK!"
Daedalus makes a sharp U-turn, nearly knocking itself out as it rushes back into the plate and slams into Pandora, the sheer force of impact pushing it out of the storm plate. Mizuki quirks an eyebrow, and Droite lets out an excited "Yes!" as the dragon Bey flings its opponent towards the still-clashing Defense Beys on the outer rim.
"Golem, now!" Gregoire commands as soon as Pandora comes into his line of sight, and his Bey suddenly falls back, leaving a seriously wobbling Bastet to collide with a way-too-fast Pandora...
CLANG!
Pandora bursts on impact, and Bastet is sent flying out of the stadium. Mizuki and Bahaa stare at each other in surprise, before the latter sighs quietly, a lopsided smile forming on his face as he lowers his head a little, muttering a quiet "Looks like we did end up bumping into each other after all. Oh well..."
The ref takes a moment to clear his throat before holding out a hand in Gregoire and Droite's direction.
"Fort Golem and Verdant Daedalus win!" He declares, and a star shape appears below their icons on the screen above.
"And there you have it, everyone!" Pink comments "The victors of today's first match are Gregoire Ferrier and Droite Vireir! We must thank both teams for such an exciting battle, so give them a round of applause please!"
"Olé" Droite exclaims, happily pumping a fist in the air as the stands go wild with cheering "We did it!"
He turns to Gregoire and holds up his hand in a high-five gesture "Couldn't have done any of this without you, so thanks!" He says, grinning. The French man smiles in response, grasping Droite's hand in his own and squeezing it instead.
"Don't sweat it, kid. That's what teammates do."
Droite nods cheerfully, before walking over to their opponent and holding out his hand to them too "Good game, guys, that was fun!"
Mizuki shrugs, chancing a look at her teammate before turning back "I suppose it was. That slow-motion Burst you pulled off was a pretty neat trick, you know."
"Can't believe I'm saying this, but she's right." Bahaa admits, shaking Droite's hand "We kinda messed up there and you got us real good, but watch out; if we ever get to battle again, you're going down!"
"I'll look forward to it!" The blunette says, walking back to the other side of the stadium "See you guys later!"
"Later!" Bahaa's voice starts to fade as he and Mizuki walk away from the stadium. Droite smiles, sharing a quick nod with Gregoire before the two walk away as well, back to their training room-
"Oooooof! Man, why is it so hot in here?!"
-and not a second later, Droite has the air conditioner on the lowest temperature possible (which is 10° C). The blast of cold air hits him full-force and he sighs in total bliss, but apparently, his teammate doesn't share that sentiment.
"What do you think you're doing?!!" Gregoire shouts over the hum of the conditioner, stomping towards it and turning up the temperature to 25° "This thing is literally freezing the air!"
"Huh? It's not really that cold, though."
"I swear to God, you-" The gray-haired man facepalms in frustration, turning on the TV and taking a seat on the other end of the bench as he waits for the next match to start "Just don't do anything else stupid, okay?"
"I won't, trust me."
"I sincerely doubt that.."
The two Bladers' small conversation ends at that, and they both watch as the five-minute countdown to the next match starts....
Chapter 3 Preview:
Vira: Wait, we're up in the second match? Cool!
Vira: Okay, scratch that. What's with everyone playing defense today? That's not a way to battle, you know.
Kiaru: Well actually-
Vira: ANYWAY, it doesn't matter how you play; Valkyrie and I will take you on all the same!
Vira: *whispering* Psst, you guys are supposed to say something here!
Alastair: ....
Callum: *shakes head*
Kiaru: ..No thanks.
Vira: Siiiiiigh.

Lead the way." She replies with a smile, and the two start walking down the corridor to the main arena.
..

Pixi, i'm batman, DeltaZakuro, MasterofDerp have been summoned to read this. Special thanks go to MasterofDerp for helping out with the chapter.
*Appears after a smoke explosion because reasons* YAY! Gregoire and Droite won! Well enough of that, moving on to more important thing, namely the battle itself. And I LOVE the way you describe the battles. Really good. And I take back what I said before as Pink >>>>>> Hanami.
Smoke explosions do look great tho
I'm glad you liked the battle (honestly it was the part that worried me the most; I felt like it was a bit too fast). Also, Pink really just wants to sit back and watch the battle with a bottle of fizz in hand, but she knows she has to at least say something before and after so she tries go sprinkle some dramatic flair while she's at it.

Lead the way." She replies with a smile, and the two start walking down the corridor to the main arena.
..
..
..
..
..
