Wolborg 2 : 20-30USD (it has very usefull blade base) Silver Dragoon V :35-40USD (another treasure of yours) the rest..you might not much for them since some of them are missing their parts like your Dragoon F that has no sub ar... Driger S ar might be valuable too.. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Poseidon - Feb. 17, 2012 I can't see getting $30 for wolborg 2, I'd say it can get 25 max. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Feb. 17, 2012 (Feb. 17, 2012 7:06 AM)Kenshin Wrote: I have an odd question for the Hasbro version of Metal Driger did the sprue for the parts with the casing for the heavy metal core come unaltered with a extra sprue with the engine gear winder. Or did Hasbro create a unique sprue that replaced the HMC casing with the engine gear winder? I have taken a look at my various sprues, and they would have just used the standard mold in Metal Driger's color. They were all the same, except Takara's Metal Driger, they just had two bitchips, a winder, and a weight disk attachment spot, the rest of it didn't come on a sprue. (Feb. 17, 2012 11:51 AM)Poseidon Wrote: Using a left SG with a right launcher. It was apparently supposed to be really good n some combos. Honestly, Brad at one point agreed to making the inverse (roller defense mod) illegal, but never followed through for whatever reason (there are less weird things that are illegal currently, haha). I don't even see what point this would achieve, though, so if someone knows, I guess, but it sounds really, really dumb, as there aren't any non-right-spin compatible beyblades, unless you're looking at bluffing (at which point I'd consider it about as legal as pulling a ripcord in the other direction (which was shown in like, ep 3 or 4 of bakuten shoot)). RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Orion97 - Feb. 17, 2012 A few questions : 1) Is there any AR, from plastic generation, which is capable of both upper and smash attack in same spin direction, other than Triple Tiger (Driger G)? 2) Is it necessary to use an SP on blade bases that can hold an SP (eg. Customize Clutch/Grip/Change base) or can they be used without an SP as well ? 3) Which of the following Dranzer's AR is the best/most useful - (Dranzer) Auto Change Balancer - Wing Cutter Dranzer S - Double Wing Dranzer F - Flame Wing Dranzer V - Cross Attacker Dranzer V2 - Cross Dranzer Dranzer G - Wing Survivor Dranzer GT - Triangle Wing I have always been a big fan of Dranzer beys so just asking And another small question, which base would be more useful overall - Volcano Change, Spiral Change or Customize Clutch base ? I believe Spiral Change base, but correct me if I am wrong. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Benjohadi - Feb. 17, 2012 (Feb. 17, 2012 1:59 PM)Shirish Shukla Wrote: A few questions :3.i would say Dranzer GT the most useful, followed by Dranzer V2 and S..the rest are ..naahhh...they sucks i heard.. 2.if i not mistaken..SP must be used if you are using BB that has SP slot.. 1.th!nk would now this very much..i'm not sure.. G upper?naah...i dont think so.. Spiral change base is Dranzer S BB right?(not familiar with the BB name) RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Feb. 17, 2012 (Feb. 17, 2012 1:59 PM)Shirish Shukla Wrote: A few questions : 1) All upper attack AR's exhibit smash to some degree, they need to do so to KO stuff after they lift it off the floor. Upper Claw is probably the next most noticeable, but triple tiger is the only one that does both excellently. Most Smash AR's with slopes like G Upper, Triple Wing, and co will have some slight upper too, mostly just for destabilization. There's always tradeoffs though. 2) Check the universal rulebook, that's in there. 3) Triangle Wing is by far the best, but also significantly more expensive than the others and very hard to find. Double Wing is the next best. 4) Spiral Change Base, but it's quite a specialised part. People liked customize clutch base, but it seems like a pretty average gimmick to me. Perhaps I don't have one with a very good timed clutch or whatever. I understand what it should do, it just.... Doesn't work that right for me yet... Maybe I need to try more things. Benjo: V2's AR is well rounded but not particularly good at anything, and not particularly useful overall. Also wow I only just noticed they called dranzer g's AR Wing Survivor. That's one of the most hilariously inappropriate names in plastics... RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Benjohadi - Feb. 17, 2012 (Feb. 17, 2012 2:08 PM)th!nk Wrote: Benjo: V2's AR is well rounded but not particularly good at anything, and not particularly useful overall. haha..i remembered using uncustomized Dranzer V2..it simply in moderate performance..and with its upper soe,so i think there would be some use compare to Dranzer V,F..but yeah,i dont really explored plastics as much as you did..(i prefer my plastics to be in nice shape.. XD) idk..most of the parts from plastics sound pretty funny to me..haha RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Feb. 17, 2012 Dranzer G's AR has the most atrocious recoil which means it always has terrible, terrible survival, haha. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Janstarblast - Feb. 17, 2012 Thank you very much, Ultra and K-LESH. I seriously wanted to know about this launcher. And what? Engine Gear Launcher?! Why would they make it look like an Angle Compass, then? They must have designed it in such a way which would actually relate to the EG system... But well, I still do not know as to whether my method of using it is correct or not. I did post a review, as th!nk mentioned, but should I be using the wrong method of using it, then the whole review might change. And by the way, they say it offers more power when used with EG beys... That is not true. It spins at the same speed as other beys. Also, I just noticed, in each of the four quadrants formed by the Axes of the Angle Compass-like thing; there's a motif of Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel, and Driger. @K-LESH- Do you have any scans of the instructions of that launcher? If yes, it'd be quite helpful for reviewing it better. If not, then its OK. To be fair I really can't comment on Triangle Wing Everyone try Double wing for smash in Left with 10 Wide and Wide Defense. /owing a Phantom Force Dranzer S ftw RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Poseidon - Feb. 17, 2012 Not sure on this, but I remeber reading that takara released a red dranzer GT, like the one that takra released for dragoon GT, is it true? RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Balance Blader - Feb. 17, 2012 No sorry bro, i don't actually own the launcher but that came with it showing some other engine gear beyblades RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Janstarblast - Feb. 17, 2012 OK thanks! Looks like we'll have to live with the unclear information I can provide about it, unless someone finally gets proof to confirm my information. Thanks again, K-LESH. A similar question directed to you, Ultra... If you may have any more info as to how to use it and stuff, please inform me, so that I can provide a better insight into the mechanism and working of the launcher. Nah, I've got one missing a clutch, and one that works. It's just the clutches are supposed to be a bit variable or something. Oh, and that launcher may still be #11, as K-lesh spotted a Takara one in a lot on yja, Hasbro may have renamed it, idk. Never seen or heard of a Dranzer gt recolour anywhere, so I doubt it... (Feb. 17, 2012 4:13 PM)Mc Frown Wrote: I'm enormously biased but Wing Cutter and Double Wing, followed by Cross Dranzer. Mannnnnnnn you have to try triangle wing on your upper/spin-stealing thingy. It's definitely the best IMO, but could you say more about acb's wing cutter? I'm terrified to use mine in case it breaks. And yeah, people, do try that, it's a great ar. At worst, it's the best tier 2 smash AR. If only it had a little more range... :c Also, Mc Frown, try the AR setup in the galzzly article some time, if you can. Whatever your favourite attack base is, just do enough to keep recoil in check and don't judge that recoil til you try it. I want a second opinion but it's currently my favourite smash AR setup, and I've tried almost everything in my never-ending search for absolutely stupid amounts of smash. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Benjohadi - Feb. 17, 2012 even i myself scared to use my wing cutter...haha..however..it doesnt seems promising to me since sharp points usually deals with recoils...but i kinda like its BB..its fast...if the HMC core can fit in,i would be happy..haha.. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Mc Frown - Feb. 17, 2012 (Feb. 17, 2012 4:38 PM)th!nk Wrote:PF version of Double Wing is like just a little bit bigger than the TT one my cousin has. Uh Wing Cutter works as a good substitute to Tiger Defenser/War Lion/Wing Cross depending on the combo. There was one combo it was better than all three on but I foget what it was. I think it had to do with Wide Survivor or Semi Flat or Bearing Base. I'll try the Galzzly thing when I see my cousin (who owns a full Dragoon V) provided I can find my SAR. How does it compare to Hayate AR? EDIT: I love Auto Change Base RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Feb. 17, 2012 I'm legitimately jealous now. I see, I'll play around. I find it more reliable, though I need to buy a few galzzly's, as the underside lines that provide the friction to keep it in place wear down.... As long as the lines are strong, if you like raiden etc, you'll like this. It's my current favourite after trying all of my AR's. The only things that could work for attack that I haven't tried are blizzard Orthrus, poseidon and apollon's AR's, off the top of my head. The large size makes gattyakki slightly easier too. Auto change base is cool, I just wish I could lock it on attack mode, though sharp mode is still very good.... I wonder, could it replace SG sharp in that balance beater? RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Mc Frown - Feb. 18, 2012 I want Apollon so bad (even the dumb G version just that AR is so hawt) And lol the attack mode is so lol. It's like HF on crack. And no it can't I don't think it's a little shorter and like those three fins on the bottom. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Galaxy - Feb. 18, 2012 (Feb. 14, 2012 6:48 PM)Ultra Wrote: I've owned two but bought at different times from people in different countries. If we're talking mint i'd say at least $50 - $60 for the normal and about 15 - 20 more for the dark blue one.Uhm, too much in my opinion! I bought one NIB for 40$, and i think that the NIB\MINT dark blue recolor is about 55\60$! RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Feb. 18, 2012 (Feb. 18, 2012 12:13 AM)Mc Frown Wrote: I want Apollon so bad (even the dumb G version just that AR is so hawt) Exactly, one of the best looking AR's, but such a pain to find/afford... It has pretty good LAD. When my bump king arrives, I'll compare the two bases. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Benjohadi - Feb. 18, 2012 there is one on ebay for Hasbro NIB Appolon..haha..not so expensive by last time i saw..around 30-40USD.. well..its thick..i wonder if it has any use? venus ar looks good for defence, looks less recoil..but i never tried.. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Poseidon - Feb. 18, 2012 Mirrage goddess is used for attack IIRC.
