RE: Winning Combinations. - othellog - May. 20, 2011 People couldn't see MF-H LLD BD145CS and MF-H Basalt 85D at the Baltimore tourney, good times. But my silver face should becoming soon. RE: Winning Combinations. - BladeStorm - May. 20, 2011 (May. 20, 2011 2:49 AM)Xman8024 Wrote: I see many other people now using it because I did. The combo is not that uncommon, in fact it was very prevalent in the UK 2+ months ago. Yeah, Xman, I was actually using it at BEYBLADE CRUSADE Recruitment Session: 1 (probably Ignite Your Spirit! too) haha. That was your first tournament, and if I recall correctly, you didn't win very many matches, and you weren't using that Hell combo. RE: Winning Combinations. - Otsu - May. 20, 2011 Hell kerbecs bd wd is pretty much a staple combo and not really that hard to think of. RE: Winning Combinations. - GONE - May. 22, 2011 (May. 20, 2011 7:21 PM)Kei Wrote:(May. 20, 2011 10:41 AM)BladeStorm Wrote:(May. 20, 2011 2:49 AM)Xman8024 Wrote: I see many other people now using it because I did. HEY HEY HEY, coming 2nd last isn't that bad.........Ok it is bad..........what am I saying thats really BAD! But hey it was my first tournament and I was nervous. I also use (Not in tournaments most likely) MF Hell Bull 230CS. I was also very cold!!! RE: Winning Combinations. - Chups - May. 28, 2011 Day of Beys. 1st - Blah - MF-H Basalt Bull 230CS. 2nd - Robsta - Used Virgo DF145D for Finals I dont know what else he used. (He has 5 minute Mold methinks) 3rd - bestburritos - MF Basalt Aquario BD145CS. RE: Winning Combinations. - Vamasco_ - May. 28, 2011 Ancient BeyBattles : 1st Maxi50 - used Leone H145RF once , and Basalt Horogium 145WD the rest of the Battles 2nd Vamasco - Burn Phoenix WA130HF and MF Thermal Giraffe ED145DS and MF Galaxy Wolf BD145R2F 3rd Ginga_pegasus - Hell Kerbecs BD145DS ( Boost mode ) RE: Winning Combinations. - Electric - May. 28, 2011 Beyblade: Warfare in the Shade - 1st place used a Lightning L Drago BD145RF 2nd place used a Lightning L Drago 100RF So far, nothing new. Earth Bull GB145CS [CS extremely aggressive] - Well, nothing new, but the aggresive CS managed to score some knockouts when it got onto its rubber, and the Sharp was quite balanced and sharp, it had amazing stamina, I did a straight shot and it maintains stamina, and if it gets hit, it gets on its rubber and goes crazy, then back to the plastic. Third place also used Vulcan Horuseus GB145RF for a few battles. - When it was hit, it didn't go flying out, and when it hit, the opposing beyblade gets knocked out, RF about 40% or so worn off. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - Jun. 01, 2011 BEYBLADE CRUSADE: 1st: Kei - MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS 2nd: Valentin - MF-H Basalt Aquario TH170RS (170 Height) 3rd: TehBrownSauce - MF Lightning L Drago BD145RF 4th: Pockyx3 - MF Lightning L Drago BD145RF Not sure what height(s) Valentin used, but that combo did surprisingly well in the final. His RS had a decent amount of movement to it (but not so much that it would be illegal), and the recoil from his (and I guess mine) Basalt helped it to score two KOs against me, and it was close to outspinning me in the other battles as well. RE: Winning Combinations. - Cye Kinomiya - Jun. 01, 2011 It was at 170. Also, it pretty much got me through the whole Wake Up Call. It won every matched I used it in through Roll Call, Wake Up Call, and Beyblade Crusade. Any losses I suffered was when I used a different combo. How is it's stamina when facing other customs? RE: Winning Combinations. - Cye Kinomiya - Jun. 01, 2011 It outspins every attack type that stays in the stadium. I've seen it outspin MF-H Basalt 230CS. I've seen BD145 stamina combos outspin it, but in every match that I played against one it knocked the stamina combo out of the stadium. I don't know if that's reliable enough to still use it against them though. I think if you use a CS instead it'd be a top tier combo. At 220 height, it does what Basalt 230CS combos do, except that it beats 230. I'd only switch to RS against Lightning Tank, which has a chance of knocking out the combo if it's using a CS. Also, I know that Bluezee and others have gotten good win rates against RS, but this is the RS from RBV7 that is made of a softer rubber. In my experience, LT, or really any attack type really cannot knock this thing out. I mean I only saw that happen like once. Even if it isn't completely reliable against Stamina types, it's a safe bet when Stalling Clause is invoked, I think. RE: Winning Combinations. - Uwik - Jun. 01, 2011 Fight Club: 1st - Uwik : MF-H Basalt Bull R145 WD and MF-M Hell Kerbecs BD145 (Boost) WD 2nd - gosieksan : MF-H Basalt Aquario 230 WD 3rd - lightning angel : Hell Kerbecs BD145 (Boost) WD and Burn Aquario?? AD145 WD 4th - akira2002 : MF-H Basalt Bull R145 WD and MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145 (Boost) DS and MF-H Screw Pegasis 85 MF I launched all my beys despite using WD with sliding shoot. Won my matches maybe around 60% OS - 40% KO. 3rd place and 4th place went into a tiebreaker. Burn Aquario used AD145 height against the Kerbecs BD to get contacts with the metal wheel, instead of the plastic. The Burn Aquario won by half a spin for a full 5 round. Overall, the basic metagame where I live is a balance between stamina / defense. Although I did see Hell Kerbecs go crazy on 85 XF and Screw Cap 85 MF. Rubber tips are generally not preferred here. *shrug* RE: Winning Combinations. - Deikailo - Jun. 01, 2011 Brooklyn's Battalion: 1st - Deikailo: Gravity Perseus TH170EWD/Basalt Aquario BD145CS (aurora version)/Basalt Cancer 230EWD 2nd - Bluezee: Gravity Perseus 230CS/MF Libra 85/90(?)WD (I think) 3rd - ArmorD-00taku: Gravity Perseus BD145MF It should be noted that Sky Prince came close with Beat Byxis 90RF, but he switched to stamina for like, one round and lost out. I am loving it! Awesome! You really used HF/S?? Isn't this so very similar to Kei's false combo? Still, it feels great to see HF/S up there! Deikailo- Surprised with the combos, coz used an attack wheel with a Stamina bottom!!?? Unbelievable! I just said that its so similar! If you see, Kei's combo and testing were a joke, and after actual testing, it was proved that the combo is bad. That's the reason why I was surprised when BladeStorm stood second with a similar combo! I know, I know, there is not just Tier, but Skill too. I am really proud of LeeDraciel, its really a BIG thing that he used an uncustomized bey.... WHAT! You didn't win, Blitz? I managed to come 4th using MF Gravity Perseus Attack BD145MF and MF-H Basalt Bull TH170CS. Just looked over the videos again and Lee combo was Basalt Horogium 145EWD, pretty much the same lol. RE: Winning Combinations. - th!nk - Jul. 11, 2011 Winning combo's from my tourney First: th!nk: MF-H Basalt Kerbecs TH170CS, MF-H Basalt Kerbecs TH170WF (only lost once, and it could have won it, had I used the right height from the start), MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS, and MF LDrago Destroy S130RF. Lost one battle with MF-H Gravity Perseus (ATK) BD145CS, too. :\ Second: Tokyo boyy: MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS (beat my WF combo's comeback with a sweet KO, but finally fell to TH220CS in the finals, 3-1) Third: SDamonCronous: Earth ___ DF145WD (which was used to outspin a bunch of hell kerbecs BD145WD and the like), MF(-H?) Basalt Kerbecs GB145RS, Lightning L Drago 100RF. Not totally sure on all these or which he used, but that was them. Making threads for basalt TH170WF/CS in a few days, me and Hero are just getting the testing together/going through the settings/working out what heights and launches beat what. Yeah, not the most original combo's, but they're amazing, and ridiculous improvements on their 230 counterparts. |
