RE: Winning Combinations. - ShinobuXD - May. 26, 2013 Congrats *Ginga*! How was MSF Gryph Gryph E230 BSF? Did it lose at all? RE: Winning Combinations. - *Ginga* - May. 26, 2013 Lost either once or twice, against Tech's Phantom Cancer 90MF. It was fun to use, it mostly won by OS. I got really lucky in two battles, one against Time's Phantom Aquario 90MF, which was lost because of self-KOs by Time. RE: Winning Combinations. - ShinobuXD - May. 26, 2013 He self KOd three times with MF? Did it force smash a lot of stuff to OS it? RE: Winning Combinations. - *Ginga* - May. 26, 2013 Yes, his MF flat was oddly fast ... There was not much Force Smashing, more of E230 destabilizing. RE: Winning Combinations. - TimeOut - May. 27, 2013 My mf was acting very strange, it was ch120 not gb145 I used a whole slew of things today, including MF-H phantom aquario e230ewd MSF-F Revizer Dragooon B ![]() Death Kerbecs UW145 ewd Death Aquario AD145 ewd Phantom Aquario 90 MF (1 self Ko, two weird collisions) Flash Sagittario CH120 MF Revizer Dragooon S130 MB RE: Winning Combinations. - Blitz - May. 27, 2013 UK's BeyDays Brawl! (Standard Format) Top 3's Winning Combo's - 1st Blitz: MSF-H Wyvang Dragooon BD145RDF & MF-H Duo Cygnus W145D (Used it once against and it lost to ManicBen's Phantom Cancer TH170/195D) 2nd ThePokeBlader: MF-H Duo Cancer B:D & MSF-H Dragooon x2 BD145RDF 3rd Ultra: Wyvang Dragooon BD145RDF & Bahamdia Dragooon SP230GF (He used this once and it lost to my Wyvang Dragooon combo) 4th BeyHyperKiller: MF-H Duo __ 230CS, MSF-H Revizer Killerken B:D, MSF-H Wyvang Dragooon BD145RDF, MF-H Duo ___ B:D Joint 4th ManicBen: MF-H LDrago Guardian BD145RDF, Phantom Cancer TH170/195D, MF-H Duo 230MB 5th Luck: Lots of random things but the only match he won was with Ultra's Wyvang Dragooon BD145RDF combo. That's about all the combo's I managed to get there may of been a few more used but my Camera battery died quite soon into the finals >.< RE: Winning Combinations. - LONG SNAPPER - May. 27, 2013 (May. 27, 2013 6:07 PM)Blitz Wrote: UK's BeyDays Brawl! (Standard Format) Top 3's Winning Combo's - Why a D on W145 and a MF-H? RE: Winning Combinations. - Blitz - May. 27, 2013 I've always used MF-H/MF on my Stamina combos most people do in the UK and I used D on the same combo at the last tournament and it worked well so thought I'd go with it again lol. RE: Winning Combinations. - Meow! - May. 27, 2013 Did no one win with Wyvang GB145R2F or something? What happened to all the right spin attackers? RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - May. 27, 2013 Guys, remember: if you didn't win with it, don't list it. This is the Winning Combinations thread. RE: Winning Combinations. - Ultra - May. 27, 2013 (May. 27, 2013 10:11 PM)Meow! Wrote: Did no one win with Wyvang GB145R2F or something? What happened to all the right spin attackers? Assuming you were referring to the UK no one really uses attack. Stamina types are a safer option. Tbh generally in tournaments people don't use attack because it's risky. If you're in the finals no one would use it. RE: Winning Combinations. - Thunder Dome - May. 28, 2013 NC BeyDays Warrior's Unite 1st: Thunder Dome: MSF-H Barlo Dragooon BD145 RDF, MSF-H Killerken Dragooon SA165 EWD, MF-H Flash Scorpio S130 RF 2nd: BladerLight: Gryph Dragooon SA165 WD, Barlo Wyvang SA165 R2F, Barlo Wyvang W105 R2F 3rd: Kerbecs kid: MF-H Diablo Kerbecs BD145 R2F, MF-H Duo Cygnus 230 MB, Phantom Hades W145 EWD I don't think Kerbecs kid used the Phantom Combo much throughout the tournament compared to the other 2, but he still won some of the matchs. His Diablo combo lost to Dragooon SA165 combos, his Duo lost to Dragooon and his Phantom lost to Flash. BladerLight's Dragooon SA165 WD lost to my MSF-H Barlo Dragooon BD145 RDF and his Barlo Wyvang SA165 R2F lost to it as well during the tournament. He had another loss, but I'm not positive what he used and lost with. I only used Flash once before the finals and the rest of the matches I used MSF-H Barlo Dragooon BD145 RDF and MSF-H Killerken Dragooon SA165 EWD. RE: Winning Combinations. - 6 God - May. 28, 2013 Haven't seen flash in a while. Thunderdome, did u just not have a wyvang for the balro dragooon combo or does balro actually work better? RE: Winning Combinations. - Thunder Dome - May. 28, 2013 I don't own a Wyvang Chrome wheel yet. RE: Winning Combinations. - Byerg - May. 28, 2013 Gryph Dragooon for Stamina? Guessing he doesn't have Revizer or Killerken. RE: Winning Combinations. - DrPepsidew - May. 28, 2013 You people and Dragooon man. Seems like it was a nice tournament anyways? RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - May. 28, 2013 (May. 27, 2013 11:50 PM)Ultra Wrote: Assuming you were referring to the UK no one really uses attack. Stamina types are a safer option. Tbh generally in tournaments people don't use attack because it's risky. If you're in the finals no one would use it. If everyone uses Stamina rather than Defense/RDF-based combos most of the time, using Attack is not terribly risky, in my opinion. Dragooon BD145RDF variants are the main combos in the game right now that would be an annoyance, but even they aren't impossible to beat with an Attack type. RE: Winning Combinations. - Ultra - May. 28, 2013 (May. 28, 2013 4:53 PM)Kei Wrote:(May. 27, 2013 11:50 PM)Ultra Wrote: Assuming you were referring to the UK no one really uses attack. Um to me Dragooon RDF combos go under stamina since they're spin stealers. It's a Zombie combo for MFB. Doesn't even flash have trouble with that though? You need a synchrom attack combo to have a good chance against it. RE: Winning Combinations. - ShinobuXD - May. 28, 2013 Also, in that case, it's pretty easy to just use a right spin attacker and destabilize RDF out, if you can't smash KO it. Attack vs Defense in opposite spin= huge advantage for attacker. RE: Winning Combinations. - 6 God - May. 28, 2013 So the logical choice would probably be wyvang/dragooon wyvang gb145/sa165 r2f? It seems like wyvang is becoming the new dragooon. RE: Winning Combinations. - Byerg - May. 28, 2013 Dragooon still has twice as many uses, however, so I wouldn't say that. RE: Winning Combinations. - ShinobuXD - May. 28, 2013 Well, I'd say it really depends on your meta. In the case of the UK, where they've got Dragooon BD145 RDF running all over the place, MSF-H Wyvang Wyvang GB145 R2F would probably be a better choice. However, in a metagame where there isn't much of Dragooon BD145 RDF and more right spin defense, Wyvang Dragooon SA165 R2F would probably be the better option. EDIT: This was in response to Kyler_the best. They have good Defense against Attackers, they can KO Stamina combos, and they have OK Stamina because of their spin direction and RDF. But yes, I would agree that Flash might have trouble with it. You need Diablo or a Synchrom Attack combo to have a chance. It is exactly how Killerken Dragooon DF105 LRF KOs things, except in the opposite direction. Except, with a Wyvang smash attacker, you get the added bonus of lots of smash, too. Considering Dragooon BD145RDF combos beat essentially all stamina apart from things on B:D I wouldn't call say it has OK stamina. Also L Drago Destroy/Guardian aren't in the same league as Dragooon. |
