Shu’s Revenge!
Valt’s Tale!
“Is that… Shu Kurenai?” the announcer gasps, “The more I look, the more I see the resemblance! Has he gone back to his dark ways of breaking beys?” “I’m here to crush all of you...” Blood Eye yelled, “...and I'll start here with this little boy!” “You won’t break Treptune!” Toko said definitely, “Where did you go? Why did you take my brother with you?! Where is he?!” “Maybe I’ll tell you if you win.” Blood Eye said with a cocky grin. “Thing’s are already heating up! Now let’s get this show on the road!” the announcer said, “This is the last battle of the day and yet this is one no one wants to miss!”
3...2...1… GO SHOOT! Toko and Blood Eye both nailed their launches. Trident took the center and Spriggan zoomed around the stadium. It was in Right spin attack mode. Suddenly Spriggan swooped in. “GO! Requiem Whip!” “Harmonious Spin!” Trident sped up and gained an aura. Spriggan swooped in and used a single golden scythe to chop Trident into the air. “Don’t burst Trident!” Toko wished. Then suddenly as Trident was falling to the ground, Spriggan zoomed into Trident and Smashed it into a million pieces. Every part was shattered. Red lightning from Spriggan’s scythe ran through every part of Trident. “N...NO!” Toko screamed. “How could he?” Shin whispered. Shu picked up the hundreds of pieces of Trident and put them in a bag. “How pathetic.” His voice boomed. “You can’t take that sir!” the ref said. “Check page 37 of the rulebook. If I break it, I take it.” The ref checked the rulebook. “Oh, sorry sir.” He said quickly. “Who wrote that rulebook?!” Shin asked. “Theodore Glass did.” Arina responded, looking like she was in a trance. Toko had collapsed on his knees, tears pouring from his eyes.
Suddenly Shin sat up and started running. He ran and ran, down to the stadium, past Toko, and into Blood Eyes waiting room. The door outside was open and Shin ran through it. He looked around and spotted Blood Eye walking down the street. “Where are you going Shu!” Blood Eye said, “Go away kid.” Without looking back. Shin ran in front of Blood Eye and blocked his way. “Why are you doing this! You’re letting yourself be used by Glass! This isn’t like you!” “I don’t owe you anything. Now get out of my way.” Shin pulled out Spriggan. “Battle me! If I win I want answers.” Blood Eye held out Spriggan Requiem. “Wait a second… you… aren’t Shu?” Shin pondered. “I am Shu, you weak child.” Blood Eye responded. “What’s my name then?” Shin asked. “I don’t know all the names of my fanboys! Now get out of my way!” Blood Eye yelled in fury. And he smacked Shin in the head, knocking him out.
“Wow. It’s already that serious.” Valt’s voice said. Shin moaned. His head hurt SO bad. “He’s waking up!” Arina said. “What’s up guys?” Shin said weakly. “We found you knocked out on the side of the road.” Arina replied. “Nice to see you again!” Valt said. “I thought you had disappeared.” Shin said. “I’ll tell that story later. First, how did you get knocked out? What happened?” Shin told Arina and Valt about his encounter with Shu. “Here’s the thing. It wasn’t Shu.” “How do you know?” Arina asked. “It was like his soul wasn’t there. Spriggan couldn’t feel it either.” “That’s… Impossible.” Valt said, “It’s like he was still Red Eye.” “Well it wasn’t Shu, I’m positive.” “Okay, I believe you.” Arina said. “Where is Shu though?”
“I followed him to Glass tower. It’s the new order of operations for the Snake Pit. Shu took the elevator down and I followed him.” Valt explained, “When the door opened at the bottom I saw a girl in a mask shoving Shu into a machine. She pressed some buttons and the chamber she had put him in started glowing gold and green. Then she saw me and ran over and punched me in the face, knocking me out.” “How did you escape?” Arina asked. “I woke up and saw that I was strapped down on a wall. I launched Valkyrie and broke the chains. I got out off the floor and started walking around in a dark, dimly lit basement. I saw the chamber from earlier and standing in front of it was Shu. I told him how happy I was to see him but he told me that I shouldn’t have woken up so soon and that he would need to knock me out again. I could tell he was red eye again. I challenged him to a battle and said that if I won, he would have to let me go. We went to a room with a beystadium inside. I put up a fight but…” Valt started crying. “What is it?” Shin asked. “He broke Valkyrie.” Valt said without hope. “I ran for the elevator and made it in and escaped.” Shin couldn’t believe it. Shu had broken Valkyrie. It was almost too terrible to imagine.
“Where’s Sansy?” Shin suddenly asked, breaking the moment of silence. “He disappeared after… all that happened.” Arina replied. “I need to find him.” Shin said, “He knows something. He is the key.” “Well I’m going to prepare for the next round of the tournament. It seems so unimportant now, but I don’t know what else to do.” Arina said. She brought out a laptop computer. “The next matches have been published!” I’m going against Hyuki Gamen and Shin’s going against… Blood Eye.” “Good. If I win, maybe I can get him to talk. I can’t imagine why he would act like this.” Shin said, with determination in his voice. “I need to get training.” “I’ll train with you!” Arina said, “Let’s go!”
“You need a special launch!” Arina said as soon as they got to the stadium. “No offense, but your launch is pretty simple and well… not very strong.” “I guess that’s true.” Shin responded. “How should I change it up?” “Only you can decide that. Just try many different launches.” Arina replied. “Okay let’s go. It’s time to practice.” “Let it rip!” Shin dropped his launcher in the middle of launching with his left hand. “Let it rip!” Ship through his launcher into the air… and it fell on the ground. “Let it rip!” Shin lunged forward and launched Spriggan weakly… and fell into the stadium on top of Spriggan. “I just can’t get it!” Shin said, exhausted. “Try to… feel Spriggan,” said Arina. “Okay. Let’s do this.” Shin closed his eyes and picked up his launcher. Suddenly he was thrown into the avatar world, Spriggan standing in front of him. “What do I do?” Shin asks. “Try this. Your brother once pulled it off. Put your own spin on it.” Spriggan’s voice boomed. Shin suddenly knew what to do…
“What an amazing burst by Arina Murasaki!” the announcer yells. The crowd cheers as loud as ever. “Now it’s time for the intense battle between Shin Kuronai and Blood Eye, otherwise known as Shu Kuronai. Shin walks up to the stadium. “I’m ready,” he said. “Let’s do this!”

1. Why does Theadore Glass get to write the Rule Book?
2. Why is that a rule?
He doesn't write the rulebook, he's just very rich which can make him very influential. As for number 2, simply so that he can crush other bladers spirits.

Chapter X
Siege VS. Requiem!
The Crimson Dance!
“You can’t win.” Blood Eye said, commandingly. “I know you aren’t the real Shu. You’re just a fake that’s trying to use his name to further your own agenda!” “You don’t know what you’re talking about. Let’s get this over with.” “Ready, set!” Shin held his launcher vertically and closed his eyes. “3…” Shin swung his arms up. “2…” Shin followed his arms into a backflip. “1…” Shin landed. “GO SHOOT!” Shin swung his launcher from vertical to horizontal and launched. “Go! Crux Boost!” Siege Spriggan was in attack mode and was gaining speed. Spriggan Requiem was in right spin attack mode. Siege Spriggan was still gaining speed but Spriggan Requiem was matching the speed up. “You will not win!” Shin yelled. “This match is ours!” “At least try to entertain me.” Blood Eye responded. “Let’s end this. Requiem Whip!” Spriggan Requiem zoomed around even faster than before and caught up to Siege Spriggan easily. It was obvious that it would be a deadly blow. “We won’t go down that easily!” Shin yelled, “Challenge Drive!” Suddenly Siege Spriggan turned into a streak of red lightning. It sped up and dogged Spriggan Requiem’s attack. Then it came around from the other side and smashed into Spriggan Requiem. Spriggan Requiem barely twitched. “How did it absorb my attack so easily?” “You are too weak!” Blood Eye yelled. “Well we can still try! Counterbreak!” The rubber on challenge scraped and Siege Spriggan was suddenly bulldozing Spriggan Requiem. It was pushing Requiem hard. “Well I suppose I should end this.” Blood Eye sighed, “Let’s try this. Requiem Lightning!” Spriggan Requiem suddenly turned into a red and gold lightning bolt. Siege Spriggan shot out of the stadium and smashed Shin's right arm. It burst on impact and knocked Shin off his feet. “And it’s a ring out finish!” the announcer crowed, “Blood Eye gets 1 point! What amazing power!”
Shin’s vision was blurry. He couldn’t sit up. Every time he tried to move his right arm the pain was amplified. He could barely stay conscious as it was. “I can’t just give up.” Shin said in his mind, “What should I do?” Then he felt Spriggan on the ground next to him. “What do I do, Spriggan?” Shin was teleported to a blank void, with only Spriggan inside. “You need to focus on only the battle.” Spriggan’s voice boomed. “But even if I get up, I won’t be able to launch without my right hand!” “Leave that to me. Block out the pain, and follow my lead.” Shin returned to the real world. His vision cleared. “And Shin Kuronai gets up!” the announcer yelled, “He was hit by his beyblade at 30 MPH and he can still get up!” Medics finally arrived and checked on Shin. “I’m okay.” Shin said. “How does this feel?” one of the medics touched his arm. “Ahh!” Shin said. “Looks like your arm is broken. We need to stop this match.” one of the doctors said. “No. I’m going to finish this. I need to.” Shin stepped forward. “Let’s go.” “It looks like Shin is going to keep going. How will he launch with an injured arm? Stay tuned to see how it goes!” the announcer yelled.
Shin took a deep breath. “3…” Shin held his launcher with his left hand. “2…” Shin grabbed the string by jumping up and grabbing the string between his feet. “1…” Shin pulled the string with his feet while in midair. “GO SHOOT!” Both beys flew into the stadium. Both were in stamina mode and Requiem was in right spin. “And Shin pulls off an amazing one armed launch!” the announcer yelled. Both beyblades were trading hits in the middle of the stadium. “Finish this quick!” Blood Eye yelled, “Requiem Whip!” “Siege Defense!” Shin countered. Both scythes came in direct contact and created a blinding light. “Let’s go Spriggan!” both bladers yelled. Both beys were sent flying into opposite sides of the stadium. They both were still spinning strong. “How did that not burst you!” Blood Eye said, angrily. Shin smirked. “I guess I'm a bit better than you though, eh?” Blood Eye scowled. “You aren’t anything compared to me! Requiem Spin!” Spriggan Requiem suddenly started spinning faster than ever and slammed into Siege Spriggan.” “Not today!” Shin yelled. Siege Spriggan suddenly turned onto it’s side and smashed Spriggan Requiem out of the stadium. Blood Eye snapped Spriggan Requiem out of the sky. “How!” Blood Eye’s face was twisted in anger. “And Shin Kuronai shows that talent runs in the family!” the announcer yelled. The crowd cheered loudly. “Just one more point.” both bladers said, simultaneously. “This will be your last battle with Spriggan. I’ll destroy it!” Blood Eye yelled. Suddenly the world stopped. “I can’t save you again. Be careful.” a voice echoed. Suddenly, the world started moving again. “Let’s do this!” Shin said.
“3…2...1...GO SHOOT!” Blood Eye pulled off an amazing launch while Shin pulled off his launch without his arm once more. “It looks like both Spriggans are in right stamina mode!” the announcer said. Both beys started toward the center. “End this in one blow! Spriggan!” Shin’s Spriggan started accelerating toward the middle. Blood Eye’s Spriggan mirrored the movement. “Both beys are heading toward the center! Who’s gonna get there first?” the announcer yelled. Both beys met in the middle and started clashing. Each movement was mirrored. “Let’s go Spriggan!” Shin yelled, “Siege Defense!” both of Siege Spriggan’s axes started glowing. It suddenly took the middle. “Let him have it!” Blood Eye yelled. Spriggan Reqiuems axes started glowing just like Siege Spriggan’s. Both beys were blown back. “How do you like this trick?” Shin asked. Siege Spriggan hit the edge of the stadium on the button that activated the attack mode on the driver. “That’s nothing special.” Blood Eye said as Spriggan Requiem also changed modes on the side of the stadium. “How do you mirror all my moves?” Shin questioned. Both beyblades had changed to attack mode and now circled around the stadium. “Now’s the time!” Blood Eye yelled, “Final Break!” Spriggan Requiem suddenly sped up and zoomed toward Siege Spriggan. “I can’t run. Challenge Break Blitz!” Spriggan used a combination of Challenge drive and Counter break to suddenly turn around and attack Spriggan Requiem. Spriggan Requiem's axes became engulfed in fire. The beys made contact and immediately 1000s of tiny pieces flew all over the room. Spriggan Requiem emerged, seemingly unaffected. Shin started sobbing.
Shin was walking home with Arina and Toko. “How are you doing?” Arina asked. “Terrible.” Shin responded. “...But, there’s also an upside.” “What’s that?” Toko asked. “Now I can upgrade Spriggan. How would you feel about helping me make a new system? We both need new beys, and this could give us the upper hand.” Shin said. “That’s ambitious, but… we might be able to do it. I bet Valt would help too!” Toko responded. “I’ll help too.” Sansy said. Arina screamed. “Where have you been?” Shin asked, “And don’t sneak up on us like that.” “I didn’t want you to be distracted by what I have to say.” Sansy replied, “Y'all aren’t the only ones who’ve gotten beaten by Blood Eye.” “Was your bey…” Arina asked. “No, but we need to grow stronger. We can’t lose that easily!” Sansy replied. Shin said, “Let’s go brainstorm! Let’s grow, and make the best system ever!”

Poor Shin, how dare Blood Eye do that He had to get an upgrade at some point.
