I'm glad other people like it as I do too. I've already gotten used to the hollow rubber claws. From a design stand point it's kind of jarring, but more rubber will only make the bey worse, so them cutting down on rubber amounts is a win in my book.

I'm honestly a huge fan of the green on the core. It'll make the bey pop a lot more when it's spinning. I'm also glad they're using brand new parts for it, which looks to be the route they're going for every new DB bey so far. Very excited for this release.

I really have to wait until I have it before I decide fully. Sometimes, photos just don’t do it justice and I end up being shocked and how wrong my initial reaction was (e.g., Cho-Z Valkyrie) and other times, I think the product looks amazing only to be disappointed by it IRL (e.g., Master Diabolos).
Altogether with the disc and driver and in your hands might make it better... or worse.

I think the main problem people have with this Fafnir is the contrasting colours and lack of gold plus the unfamiliar rendition of Fafnirs head.
I like it. Has anyone considered the rubber holes help with shock absorption, like if there's a really big contact the rubber might go in.
Besides, all the Fafnirs (TT) were competitive so let's be optimistic about this release

Yeah the head doesn’t really remind me of the majestic dragon that Fafnir is, in the video above I kind of go into detail about that and the shock absorption thing. I honestly think the gold is fine, just to much blue.

I think the green they chose was just too bright. But knowing TT,it'll look awesome when spinning.
Also the Fafnir heads shape is different compared to Wizard Fafnirs or Mirage Fafnirs.
The gold part above the eyes is further pulled back and dragged like a flame (idk how to describe) and the eye is longer.
That's the most noticeable change but another difference is that there isn't as much gold on the outer rubber edges, combined with the brighter yellow in the centre, giving a good design but jarringly different look from what we expected

True the green is a bit to bright, they should have gone with the 2S shade. It will look awesome while spinning for sure.
True Fafnir’s head shape is quite different because they focus to much in the actual head and don’t show the body, and make the claw and gem very small

There isn’t as much gold because there is so much dark blue rubber. If there was less rubber, more gold would be exposed.
Yeah I agree with all your points. It is definitely not what we expected, but it is unique in its own way.

Maybe one side of the disk hasn’t more metal then the other, or the metal gradually increases as you get farther away from the middle (it wouldn’t be the other way around because this is a stamina bey, which should have OWD not IWD)

If tapered is the name it will probably have more metal either in the center or away from it, and it will gradually increase as you get closer or farther from the center. This gives a pretty good description of the disk even though we have no pictures, but we’re unsure if it is focused around the center or hasn’t OWD, though OWD is more likely due to the typing of the bey.

I think imma try and buy this one. I really wanted cyclone Ragnaruk because of Giga, but I don’t want to buy a random booster or get a confirmed one since it’s so expensive, so it Tapered turns out to be as good or better than. Giga I’ll definitely buy it. The Fafnir layer is cool too.

That Kick Driver from side view reminds me the CF performance tip from MFB ZeroG.
F230CF/GCF was a good choice for L-Drago Destroy/Guardian’s Spin-Steal combos in certain cases, so hopefully this Driver can have good LAD as well.
