It's true, the manga doesn't always guarantee that the battle results in the anime will be the same (e.g. Cho-Z anime has Free beating Aiga, whilst the Cho-Z manga had Aiga beating Free).
With all that said, I still fully believe Shu will beat Lean in the anime since we've hardly advertised World Spriggan in the show. His first and (so far) only introduction was in Beyblade Burst Sparking's Episode 27, which just had him using Defense Mode on his 2B Chassis to train Valt.
He still hasn't used Attack Mode on his 2B Chassis yet, nor has he used his counterclockwise rotation mode yet and it would seem weird for him to lose against Lean already. And I know Infinite Achilles lost its debut match, but that was a Random Booster bey. World Spriggan is a regular Booster, which usually wins their first proper match.

Shu has only had one battle as of now being against Valt having no outcome. It is kinda weird that some of these beys end up losing their first match or ther is just no outcome.
Shu I think may have less battles then everyone else not including practice
